During Thanksgiving week, (the Saturday after) I took my 2015 Chevy Malibu into Mavis in Murrells Inlet, SC because my front driver tire was running loudly. I was told I needed two front tires and an alignment, which I received and paid a little over $500 for the total. About a week later, I heard a flapping noise near the front end. It got worse over 45mph. They told me to being it in. The technician checked it and took it for a drive. He then proceeded to call me to the back where my car was up on the lift. He showed me where some of the bolts from the plastic undercover on the front end of my car were missing. He said they would either put bolts in, or ziptie if the bolts were broken(?). He then proceeded to take me to the rear of my vehicle (I was curious because the noise was coming from the front). He then showed me the shock cushion located over my tire( it was black, and didn't look worn). He then went on to say that this cover was causing uneven wear on my tires (he had just told me 2 weeks earlier that my tires were wearing unevenly because I had needed an alignment)He then took me to the passenger rear and showed me that the cushion was so worn that it had disappeared. He said I would need shocks and 2 more tires. I told him I never heard any noise coming from the rear, he said he did when he drove it, and that it could be the cause for the front end noise. I agreed to the shocks, thinking this would solve my problem. A few days later, I heard the exact same noise that I had originally taken my car to Mavis for. On December 20, 2023, I brought my car back to Mavis for the 3rd time in about 2 weeks. The original person wasn't there, I told them why I was there and what the car was doing. They took my car to the back and brought it back in 20 minutes saying I was ready. I then proceeded to go home. 5 minutes down the road, the car starts making the same noise I originally brought it to Mavis for. Luckily, my husband was with me this time and was able to witness the noise. He said the noise sounded like it was coming from the driver wheel well, and sounded like it was loose. We got back to Mavis and told them what was going on. Again, they took the car to the back. After a few minutes, they called my husband to the back. he showed them where the wheel well was loose and rattling, and he also observed where they had put some thin, flimsy zip ties in the undercover. My husband then pointed out to them where there were numerous bolts missing , and explained to them, that they needed to put bolts and not zip ties, because the zip ties would eventually come loose. I now realize that my car did not need shocks at this time. It was not showing any signs of needing shocks. The $270 I used to pay for shocks could have easily gotten all the bolts I needed to solve the problem I came in for in the first place. I feel that I was taken advantage of, and would like compensation for what they've done for wasting my time and taking my money

Claimed loss: $270 for unnecessary shock job + $50 for gas back and forth

Desired outcome: The original issue that I brought my car in for was never resolved. I did not need shocks, and I would like my money to be refunded.
