Mercari customer service encourages scammers!

Mercari is a magnet for con artists and scammers. Unfortunately customer service encourages and supports this behavior. I bought a watch and paid over 350 for it. The person completely misrepresented the condition. The watch essentially requires a specialist to service it, therefore we cannot tell if the watch even works!
So disgusted with dishonest people.
The customer service reps are block heads.
Don't bother trying to speak to one of them if you are expecting a coherent answer!
Horrible! Beware

Mercari customer service

I would like to make a complaint about Mercari selling app that is based out of California. I sold a very expensive coffee maker on the app. It was a Tassamo by Braun brand new in the box. The buyer received the coffee maker but wanted to return it. They were approved to return it. Mercari reimbursed them the money and sent a return label to return the item to me but the buyer did not return the item back to me. I have been back and forth with Mercari customer service for weeks and they are not helpful. They just said they cannot force the buyer to return it. So I am out my item and the money. They have no way of holding these individuals accountable. Here is a photo of the thief's name and address.

Mercari no reset password

I have tried to send the normal number of times my ID, however my problem now is that I can not access the account anywhere and I can not ask to reset the password because I tried it and never get it, however I do not I can send my identification because the site does not work to reset the password! I can not miss something that did not give me opportunity to access, I want a solution to this problem, I need to access with my email: veralucia19 @ sa @ gmail more I need to reset and receive the password reset, I await this urgent solution
Anyone pleaseee HELP ME!?

Mercari steals sellers

I got suspended from the site because they said an item was fake, they didn't even ask me for proof, they blocked the account and they still said I had an old account, but I have $ 740 in sales and I can't even get my account because I'm blocked for everything, I've sent many messages and they do not help me! this is theft, theft, this site is a disrespect to the sellers and I will seek justice and spread so that no one sells there anymore, they have my money, do not sell, do not risk because they steal the money from their sales and do not allow you more access even to remove!

Mercari is nothing short of a con. You sell and build up a large balance and to find yourself hit with trumped-up accusations then a message saying your account privileges are suspended, finish your pending transactions then request a transfer of your balance to your bank and your account will be closed. After finishing any transactions pending and requesting the release of your funds mercari then responds to those requests with a demand for ID verification which you've already completed initially to sell and transfer funds. When you try to open the link to comply to get your funds and be on your way the link returns a 404 error saying the page no longer exists, and this continues most likely until you give up and they get to keep your money. This is a criminal organization. This probably doesnt happen to every visitor, my guess is that it's selective scamming they have used to make their business model more profitable. So my complaint is that mercari, their employees and associates, anyone engaged in business with them are thieves and lowlifes which I'm going to prove to the BBB in the state their business is registered as well as the FTC.

Mercari no customer support, like buying from a flea market where the vendor disappears and you never get your money back for damaged good

I purchased an Amazon Kindle which came with a damaged cord. It does not charge nor fit into the kindle rendering it useless. I paid for a fully functioning item so that it what I expect. I received a defective cord and spent 2 hours trying to contact customer support about replacing the cord with one that actually fits and works with the kindle. the navigation process keeps you going in circles, it is very fustrating as it has just now robbed me of money and valuable time. I will not be purchasing from Mercari again.

Mercari buyers can cancel after you ship merchandise

Mercari allows buyers to cancel orders even after you've told them their merchandise has shipped. I misplaced the tracking number, but made the buyer aware that his item was on the way. The buyer (a very dishonest theif obviously) immediately cancelled his order. So, not only was I out the item that he got for free, but $11 in shipping as well. Mercari's response? Sucks to be you!

Mercari gucci boston tote

I purchased a Gucci Bag that was described to be in good condition. When I received it, the bag had slits all over it. Now your talking about the bag can't be returned. The seller did false advertising. You want individuals to continue to purchase from you little internet company. It supposes to be money back guaranteed if you don't want it, what happened to that. What a damn rip off.

Mercari iphone 7 plus

I ordered a phone from this website but when I received it, the package was already opened and badly packed. When I looked at the phone it was cracked badly. After the 3 days the seller stopped responding. I want a refund. I made a case with my credit card company and they gave em the money back temporally but it needs mercari to respond. This all happened in october 27th. I provide pictures of the shipping delivery address, phone, and the message between me and the seller.

Mercari payment not received.

I have been selling on mercari for two years. Recently I sold the most expensive item a MacBook Pro 13 256 value at $1479.00. After the buyer release the funds, mercari quickly put a hold on my account, and it said I needed to verify my identity. I submitted a copy of my driver license, and a selfie. After a week, I requested the status of the verification. They requested the same information again. I thought they wanted to keep the money, so I scare them by threatening them I was going to take them to court. Days later they said my account would be closed, and I will be ban from selling on mercari.
They said I was selling outside the United States, which is a lie, I have been selling for two years, I couldn't possibly ship items outside the states.
I told them I work at Burbank, I have a mortgage, and I have proof to show them I live and work in the unites states. They closed my account without giving me an opportunity to prove my case.
14 Days later I received the final deposit on my account.

Mercari selling

I sold an item which has already shipped out yet buyer request cancel and Mercator approved it. The item has been shipped. I was not given opportunity to respond. I expect my item back or the money for item. I really dislike the fact that it's so difficult to contact the company for help. I tried every possible way to somehow make contact with Mercator through the app and there was no way I could find to do this.
I expect my item back or the cash for my item.

Mercari eargo max

Eargo Max Hearing Aids are selling on Mercari for $1798.00. I completed all required forms (including Credit Card Info). When submitted, the Message stated: "OOPS - Item not available". I sent a message to the Seller. The Seller replied the item is available. I tried several more times to purchase the item with the same result: "OOPS - Item not available".

I treied to contact Mercari. The are HORRIBLE!

They will not communicate with the BUYER!

Their Website Links continue to send me to the Help Center with zero results. The actual telephone number hangs up on the consumer!

Mercari I wasted my money

Why don't they ship an item before charging money?
I know that it's a very popular practice among trading websites, but some of them are very dishonest. They take the money and go away.
MercariApp is like that. I am judging by my own experience, if you're satisfied with their job, I am glad for you, but unfortunately, I wasn't lucky.
I ordered an item but never received it. That's all. CS is well aware of it, but they do nothing. So that's why I decided to get their attention with help of this consumer complaints website, maybe they will start doing something.

Mercari the worst!

If you mess with them you will only waste your time and money.
Their customer service does not work properly and provides no protection at all, so you have to think twice before dealing with them.
Last time someone bought my item, I shipped it and after two weeks the status showed that the item arrived. But the buyer told me he hadn't received anything and blamed me for cheating. The Mercari immediately blocked my account with the best reputation only because one [censored] lied to them.

Mercari thieves

Your customer service is your weakest point. Did you see how many complaints are left regarding this issue? Why wasn't anything fixed?
Why so many customers keep talking about one thing. They don't feel protected, don't feel safe. What your website states regarding your rules is fake, not true. You take all the money to themselves. Both buyers and sellers get nothing from you. Yes, you steal the money and once you have them you don't care about people.

Mercari Fraudulent app!

I have installed MercariApp application and it seemed nice. I used it and ordered some stuff, but my items never arrived so I contacted their customer service and asked for a refund. I received only computer generated responses and no one from the company ever contacted me. They replied with automated emails no matter what I've asked. I contacted BBB and they helped me get my refund. Stay away from MercariApp! They have no phone number, there is no address! They are absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional!

Mercari They suspended my account and no idea what has happening

I have joined the company Mercari Inc several years ago. Within all this time, it was ok and I have sold a lot of items. But couple of days ago, something has happened. They suspended my account and I couldn’t log in. I have sold several items last week, but all transactions were pending. Maybe someone has the similar problems, what does it mean?

Mercari Purse looked awful and quality was terrible

I bought purse from Mercari and the seller told me that the purse had some small scratches and stains. He showed the pics and I didn’t notice these stains. I paid money and the seller told me, when he has sent the order. But when I got the order and opened the package, I was shocked. The purse’s quality was terrible and I have no idea how this person could sell it. It was ruined and looked so ugly. I wasted money.

Mercari they don't have customer services and phone number

Don’t try the website www.mercariapp.com. I have purchased from them, but I haven’t received the order, I decided to contact the customer services. This company doesn’t have customer services, no phone number and no one can help you. The company is completely useless and unprofessional, so don’t even think to try their services. You will waste a lot of time and money.
