I don't know why so many people can't get help from them. I had a problem with my luggage on wizzair (my inbound flight didn't have checked in luggage even though I had paid for it)

I booked my flights for my birthday through Skyscanner, as they were the cheapest. After booking I googled Mytrip and the proceeded to freak out at people writing I had been scammed.
Nothing was further from the truth. I called customer service to confirm my flight. Booked in without trouble. And my flight went ahead with no dramas. I went with no additional extras that they charge for and everything went without a hitch.
I do recommend Mytrip. Just read what you are buying (baggage etc). The reviews seem to be fear monger if from people who made errors when booking, then expected others to fix it.
Got a prompt refund on flight cancellation
I don't know why the reviews are so negative about My trip. I personally recently book an International round trip with them which I had to cancel due to date issues. Seeing so many negative reviews I was dreading to cancel since most of the people here complain about not receiving their refund even after a long long time. My experience was otherwise.
Upon enquiry I got to know about the cancellation fees the airline would charge and that they would start the refund as soon as the airlines do that to them. I was still unsure but decided to cancel and rebook. I got refund within 5 days of Airlines handing them the refund. I also got updates on my email for every stage. Maybe they have improved themselves over time but I was so glad for the prompt refund that I thought I would write a quick review.

Further to my flight after bookings the first flight after putting my card information no email came through so after a I did the same booking and no information came through.
So later on went on to Thomas Cook and booked a flight as requested for my wife and myself.
On the Saturday morning I noticed that all three flights came on my booking I then rang Thomas Cook to confirm the flight booked as in my opinion they would have all booking information and they confirm that only one booking received.
Only on the 20 Aug that my statement arrives with the three invoice all on the same date I contacted both company's and Thomas Cook canceled one set of flights and return my money. I was then advised to contact Mytrip to cancel the other flight. Once I contacted Mytrip they said that they could not cancel the remaining flight and said we needed to contact Thomas Cook again. As my Trip offered very little help with the situation. I rang Thomas Cook back to be told that my Trip had canceled the flights and there was nothing else we could do. There was no offer at any point to change dates on the flights so we could use them in the future my trip just canceled our flights I feel that this was not up to them to do this without our consent unless they were to offer a refund and I was also concerned that time was not on my side I had to book one flight VDG7iQ and VD2KGM outstanding see corespondent as you can see both are booked on the same time this has left me out out of pocked by over ?600

MyTrip Review: A Terrible Company with Terrible Customer Service
This review is going to be a bit of a bumpy ride, so buckle up! I recently had the misfortune of using MyTrip to book my flights, and I have to say, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Despite their claims of being one of the best flight agents in the world, I found them to be nothing more than a worthless, lying, money-grabbing scam of a company. Their customer service was beyond terrible, with short, unhelpful answers and no apologies for their mistakes. I was hung up on multiple times and told that there was nothing they could do to help me. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn everyone out there: do not use this company. I wouldn't even recommend them to my worst enemy.
Let me explain why. I booked a flight with MyTrip in July, from New Zealand to the United States and then on to Europe. Everything went smoothly with the first leg of my journey, but the trouble started when I tried to book my return flight home. I had to change airports in Japan, but I soon found out that this wasn't possible because Japan doesn't issue transfer visas. I tried calling MyTrip's customer service department multiple times, but each time I was put on hold for hours and given the runaround. They told me that the problem was out of their hands and that I needed to talk to the airline responsible for my ticket. This was a complete joke, as the airline had no idea what I was talking about.
It soon became clear to me that MyTrip knew about my problem but didn't want to help me solve it. They just wanted to prolong the waiting time so that I would have to pay more when it came time to reschedule my flight. This was the first red flag. Then, my scheduled flight was canceled by the airline, and MyTrip never notified me or changed my booking on the app. This was the second red flag. When they finally tried to reach me, it was the day before my return flight home, and they tried calling my New Zealand number even though they knew I was in Europe. This was the third red flag.
Finally, I decided to take matters into my own hands and called the airline directly. They offered me multiple flights back home that would work without a problem. When I called MyTrip to see if they could help me rebook, they told me that there were no seats available on any flights for at least a month. This was the fourth red flag.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise against using MyTrip for any of your travel needs. They are a terrible company with terrible customer service, and they will do everything in their power to take your money and leave you stranded. Save yourself the headache and book with a more reputable company instead.
Terrible Experience with MyTrip: False Promises and No Refunds
I gotta say, I had a really bad experience with MyTrip. I got a call from one of their guys, Khashan, who offered me tickets to Pakistan. I was interested, but I made sure to ask him what would happen if I couldn't get a visa. He told me not to worry, that the tickets were fully refundable and changeable.
Well, turns out I couldn't get a visa, and when I called Khashan to ask for my money back, he told me that I could only get a partial refund or pay a fee to change the date. I was really upset, because I had specifically asked him about this before I bought the tickets, and he had assured me that I could get a full refund.
I tried to reason with them, but they just kept telling me that I should have listened to their advice and changed the date. But I didn't want to change the date, I wanted my money back! And to make matters worse, they wouldn't even tell me where their office was located. It all seemed really shady to me.

Vijay sounded tired and frustrated, like he had already dealt with a lot of angry customers that day. I remained calm and polite, but I was disappointed with the lack of customer service I received. I requested a transcript of the conversation to be sent to me via email, but even that was not very helpful.
Like many other reviewers, I was charged $2500 for my flights, which were cancelled with no guarantee of a refund. MyTrip Review: A Travel Agency That Scams People Out of Their Money
I gotta tell ya, folks, steer clear of MyTrip if you're planning to book a flight. This travel agency is all about scamming people out of their hard-earned cash.
Let me tell you about my experience. I booked a round-trip ticket from Gaborone, Botswana to Paris, France through MyTrip. I was supposed to leave on September 12th, 2021 and return on September 16th, 2021. Unfortunately, I tested positive for COVID-19 the day before my departure, so I couldn't travel. I tried to change my flight to leave on October 10th, 2021 and return on October 14th, 2021, but MyTrip told me they couldn't do it because there was no flight that fit my new itinerary. They told me to contact KLM for help.
I messaged KLM on WhatsApp because I couldn't afford to make an international phone call. But they didn't see my message until after my departure, so they marked me as a no-show. I tried to explain to KLM what happened and showed them evidence that I had contacted both MyTrip and KLM before my departure to change my flight, but they wouldn't budge. They said they would only change my flight if MyTrip contacted them to get a waiver to erase my no-show status and reschedule my flight.
So, I contacted MyTrip and asked them to call KLM and get a waiver code to change my flight. They asked me to pay $24 for the service, which I did. But as my new travel date approached, I became more and more desperate. I called both KLM and MyTrip every day for two weeks leading up to my new departure date. KLM told me that MyTrip never contacted them to ask for the change to my flight, while MyTrip kept telling me to be patient and wait for a response from KLM. They claimed they had already contacted KLM and were waiting for a response.
My new travel date came and went, and my flight still hadn't been changed. KLM told me that MyTrip never made any contact with them to have my flight changed. I had to buy another ticket to travel to Paris on October 12th, 2021. Two days later, MyTrip sent me an email saying that KLM responded that the change to my flight was not possible. They said my flight was not cancelled yet, but if I cancelled it, I shouldn't expect a refund.
I decided to contact KLM to get some clarification. They denied ever sending that response and said they were still waiting for MyTrip to contact them to change my flight. They said they would only change my flight if MyTrip contacted them because I purchased my ticket through them.
I thought I was the only one who got scammed by MyTrip, but after doing some research online, I found out that there are thousands of people who have been victims of their fraud.
So, folks, take my advice and never book a flight through MyTrip. They're nothing but a bunch of crooks.
Terrible Experience with MyTrip: Unprofessional Customer Service and Delayed Refund
My experience with MyTrip was absolutely terrible! I booked a flight for March 19th and when I called them for assistance, all I got was a "wait please" and then they hung up on me. It's disgusting how they treat their customers! I strongly advise against booking with MyTrip because they lie and just want to steal your money. I had to wait for hours on the phone before someone finally answered, only to be hung up on a few minutes later. It's been weeks since my flight and I'm still waiting for my refund. I even filled out a contact form on March 8th, but it was ignored. And now they're telling me that they're working on the contact forms before the bookings from March 19th? That's ridiculous! Turkish Airlines already sent the full amount back to MyTrip, but they won't send it to me. They're stealing from their clients! I have the right to get my money back and I'm tired of waiting. MyTrip is the worst company I've ever dealt with! Turkish Airlines is much bigger and has better service than MyTrip's cheeky employees.
I've sent several emails to MyTrip, but they still haven't refunded my money. They keep saying that the handling time for refunds is longer than usual because of Covid-19, but that's not an excuse. I have proof that Turkish Airlines already sent the money back to MyTrip before I even contacted them. It's been such a hassle and I feel like I should be compensated for my time and energy. MyTrip Review: Unreliable and Untrustworthy - Don't Make the Same Mistake I Did
I gotta say, MyTrip is not the best travel website out there. I had a really bad experience with them recently. I tried to book a flight from Hong Kong to Curocao, and they messed up the flight times on my itinerary. The flight time for KL733 was wrong, and it actually belonged to KL735. And the flight time for KL734 was also wrong, and it belonged to KL736. If I hadn't checked, I would have missed my flight again. Can you believe that? I mean, come on, MyTrip, get your act together!
I also checked their quality rating score on Skyscanner, and they only got 4 stars, while Expedia got 2 stars. How does that even make sense? And when I looked at their Google reviews, they only had 1.05 stars, and most of the reviews were complaints. I should have paid more attention to those reviews, but I trusted Skyscanner and their score. Big mistake.
Now, I'm stuck in Amsterdam Schiphol Airport because I missed my flight from AMS to CUR today. The flight time on my itinerary was wrong again, and I ended up missing my flight. I had to pay a change fee, tax, and checked baggage fee, and I even had to pay for a night at a hotel. All because of MyTrip's mistake. And when I tried to change my flight with Turkish Airline via MyTrip, they said the flight on Nov 9 was full for economy class. And if I wanted to change to premium economy, it would cost an additional US$4.4K. What a rip-off!
I'm still trying to get a refund from MyTrip, but it doesn't look good. I read another review where the reviewer said MyTrip promised to refund them, but they waited for a year and nothing happened. That's not very reassuring. And I suspect that MyTrip is trying to make money by tricking passengers into booking more flights with them. They told me there were no seats available on Turkish Airline, and I had to book another flight with another airline via their website. I don't trust them anymore.

MyTrip Review: Terrible Experience with Flight Changes and No Compensation
MyTrip is a complete scam! I recently had a terrible experience with them and I feel the need to share it with everyone. I had booked my tickets through MyTrip for a trip to Vietnam, which I had planned 7 months in advance. However, just one day before my trip, I received an email from MyTrip stating that my return flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Min had been changed. The new itinerary had increased the flight time from 2 hours to 10 hours. I was extremely disappointed, but I had no choice but to accept it.
To make matters worse, while I was on my trip, I received another email from MyTrip stating that the same flight had changed again! How can a ticket that was paid for 7 months ago have so many problems? This time, the flight had been changed to day 6 instead of day 4. MyTrip and the airline did not care that I had bought two return tickets, and with this change, my second flight from Ho Chi Min to Narita would be lost as it was reserved for day 5.
I tried to get in touch with MyTrip, but their phone service was nonexistent, and there was no 24-hour service. I sent an email, but I only received a response on the day of the flight, which meant that my hope to continue on the itinerary was over. I had to pay for extra hotel expenses and transportation, which was a huge headache.
Only on the 5th day did MyTrip report that they had changed the return ticket again, this time to the 8th. But what about the passage from Ho Chi Min to Narita? It should not have changed too! MyTrip made an amateur error, and it cost me a lot of money. Since the only flight I had "certainty" that was booked was from Ho Chi Min to Narita, I had to hurry to Hanoi airport and buy a ticket on the airline to Ho Chi Minh. MyTrip gave me the new ticket for the 8th, but they did not change the other flight. I had to pay 3 times more for the ticket price. I bought the tickets 7 months in advance to save money, but a company called MyTrip did this "crap."
MyTrip can accuse the airline, but I find it almost IMPOSSIBLE that a Japanese company, from the proportion of ANA, has made so many mistakes. When you buy something, it's done, done. Changing so often, just in time, a Japanese company, I'm sorry, impossible.
I am extremely disappointed with MyTrip. They switched the same flight (Hanoi to Ho Chi Min) 3 times and forgot to change the second flight (Ho Chi Min to Narita). It's unacceptable. I want MyTrip to make the whole process of repayment. That is the MINIMUM they can do. My card is in red, and I need to pay these bills.
When I contacted MyTrip, they said that they are unable to offer compensation as they are not affiliated with the airline. They suggested that I contact the airline directly for compensation. I expect a return of when the money will be returned. If the problem was of the airline that MyTrip contact and solve. I UNDERSTANDED THE PASSAGE BY MYTRIP AND NOT BY THE AIR COMPANY.
MyTrip Review: A Nightmare Experience - Unhelpful, Costly, and Time-Consuming
I had a really bad experience with MyTrip. I thought that using a travel agency would make my trip to Albania with my partner more relaxed, but it turned out to be the opposite. I bought round trip flights with a stopover and paid extra for flight changes and cancellations. However, half a day before the outbound flights, the airline of the second flight changed the flight time to before the first flight, making the transfer impossible. I tried to contact MyTrip urgently, but no one answered. I called the airline, but they told me to check with MyTrip since I had contracted through them.
The next day, I finally got someone from MyTrip to answer, but they told me I had to pay an extra fee for them to deal with the issue, even though I had already paid for the change and cancellation fee. They also said that the flights to Tirana from Rome that day and the next were full, so they could only change me to a flight two days later in the morning. This meant that I lost a day and two nights of my vacation, had to pay for a stay and food in Rome, and had to cancel hotels and car rental in Albania.
To make matters worse, once in Rome, I received an SMS message from MyTrip saying that they had not changed my flights due to an administrative issue and that I did not have the boarding passes for the next morning's flight. They charged me an extra fee, but they had not changed my flight, and we were in Rome without flights or a hotel. I called them, but they did not answer. I went to the check-in desk the next day, and the airline employees told me that MyTrip had not made the changes, and we had no flights. They took pity on us and made the changes themselves.
For the return flights, the first airline delayed its flight a few hours, and once again, the transfer was not possible. I emailed MyTrip to call me back, but they did not answer. When they finally called me back, they told me they could not change the flights, even though I had paid extra for flight changes and cancellations. They only offered to cancel and ask for a refund, but I wanted a solution, not to cancel and buy new flights two days before departure at a much higher cost. They did not care and did not provide any solutions. I had to cancel and buy other flights.
To make matters worse, I still have not been refunded for the return flights, and they take a long time to give me the flight refund, blaming the airline. The extras that I paid directly to them have not been refunded either. Hiring MyTrip ended up costing me much more time and money than what the original trip was supposed to cost.
In conclusion, MyTrip is not helpful and is an obstacle to problem-solving. They charge extra for solutions but do not provide any. The extra "change insurance" is useless, and if you have a problem and cancel, they will not refund your money. It is better to buy directly from the airline and buy their change and cancellation insurance. MyTrip does not provide any added value. I would never hire MyTrip again.
Mytrip's Terrible Customer Service and Failure to Notify of Flight Cancellation
Mytrip is a travel agency that claims to provide great customer service and helpfulness to its customers. However, my experience with them has been quite the opposite. I reached out to their customer care support on May 31st, 2019 and even called them directly, but I am still waiting for a relevant reply from the agency (eTrackNr: [protected]). I kindly ask Mytrip to provide a working customer service telephone number or email to escalate my complaint!
My complaint is regarding the booking reference KSWV1H, reservation number JKTLVZ, flight number A3723 from Lisbon Portugal to Athens Greece on 08.06.2019 at 00H35 and flight number A37306 from Athens Greece to Crete Heraklion Greece on 08.06.2019 at 09H55, both of which were cancelled. I didn't receive any kind of alert from Mytrip regarding the cancellation of both flights. The only concern of Mytrip was offering me the opportunity to get discounts with luggage and car rental service.
The landing time for flight number A3723 from Lisbon Portugal to Athens Greece on 08.06.2019 was at 06H30 and for flight number A37306 from Athens Greece to Crete Heraklion Greece on 08.06.2019 was 10h45. I had already booked and paid for one night at Heraklion in Koutrakis Suites on 08.06.2019 and paid for a car rental service at the Heraklion airport.
On January, Aegean airlines cancelled my flights and they warned Mytrip who had the responsibility to call me, send a text message or e-mail warning for the airline cancellation and ensure all efforts to provide a solution without causing any kind of financial loss on their clients but unfortunately that didn't happen. It has been the worst customer service provided for a travel agency and an experience that I don't want to repeat.
If I didn't call Mytrip on 04.06.2019, I wouldn't have known that my flights had been cancelled. The only alternative provided by Mytrip in the name of Mr. Puneet Rajput after waiting more than 2h on the phone (the phone call was recorded so Mytrip can have access to it and confirm), was a flight from Lisbon Portugal to Athens Greece on 08.06.2019 at 23H50 (24h after the original flight) and a flight from Athens Greece to Crete Heraklion Greece on 09.06.2019 at 13H15 (more than 24h after the first reservation). This means that I had no refund of the money spent at the hotel and at the car rental service on 08.06.2019. Besides that, I had lost 2 days of my vacations and for all that I am seeking compensation of at 400 EUR per passenger under EC Regulation 261/2004 for these canceled flights.
According to EC Regulation 261/2004, Mytrip had the obligation to notify passengers. Additionally, when an airline cancels a flight, denies a person boarding, or incurs a delay exceeding two hours to a flight, it is obliged to provide each passenger affected with a written notice setting out their rights under the regulation. Cash compensation for cancellation is a payment of 400 per passenger, which equals 800 total amount, in the case when the actual arrival time is delayed more than 4 hours. Payments are strictly compensation for customers' inconvenience and do not replace or form a part of any potential reimbursements for unused tickets, trips in vain, additional transport costs, meals, and accommodation.
Aegean airlines (Mrs. Sofia Pierrou) already confirmed that she received the final response from the travel agency (Mytrip), where it is confirmed that I was not informed on time for the schedule change. Therefore, Aegean airlines assure that we are entitled to receive the compensation of 400 EUR per passenger and the only way to be awarded as per the European Regulation 261/2004 is via bank transaction.
However, Aegean airlines is still waiting for the relevant reply from Mytrip in the way you will be awarded the amount. I hope you understand how difficult and stressful this situation became for us because we had to reschedule our all trip regarding hotel reservations, planned activities, day tours tickets, and car rental service. Please be informed that we have all the proof of financial loss that the flight cancellation caused us, as it is mentioned under the Montreal Convention.
If I don't get feedback from Mytrip, I will escalate the complaint to IATA, European Package Travel Regulation, and Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) ATOL. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

MyTrip Review: Frustrating Experience with Flight Changes and Refunds
I recently had an experience with MyTrip that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had booked a ticket to go back to Ecuador on August 15, 2017, but I wanted to change my flight to an earlier date. However, the charges to do so were extremely high, between $1,200 and $1,500, which was way more than the original ticket price of around $300. So, I decided to stick with my original date.
On October 27, I received an email from MyTrip stating that one or more of the flights in my reservation had been changed or cancelled by the airline. I tried to contact them on Monday, October 30, but quickly realized that they only work from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm Madrid time. This made it difficult for me to communicate with them, especially since I was traveling and had a busy schedule.
When I finally spoke with someone on November 4, they confirmed that my LATAM flight had been cancelled. I had already done my own research and found that the flight was no longer available on the airline's website or on Google Flights. The MyTrip representative told me that they would contact me back to define my refund.
However, I didn't receive any response from them, so I called back and spoke with someone named Rhein. They told me that my flight had indeed been cancelled and that they were sorry for not responding earlier. They said they would talk to the airline to confirm what happened and get back to me within 48 hours.
My return ticket was supposed to be for November 14, but since I hadn't heard back from MyTrip, I had to purchase another ticket to go back to Ecuador on November 7. I couldn't risk staying in a country without a return ticket just because MyTrip didn't respond to me.
On November 9, they called me at 3am to ask for the new itinerary that I had booked and flown, so they could use it to request a full refund from the airline. They also told me that my flight had not been cancelled, but had been changed. This was only five days before I was supposed to fly, which was very frustrating.
After that, I didn't receive any response from them, so I sent an email on November 13. On November 14, they responded and said that they were still awaiting the airline's response. They said they were working on my request and asked me to wait for the next update.
On November 15, they asked for the screenshot where they said the flight was cancelled, which I had already sent them. I felt like they were just trying to make me lose time and make me tired. They should have just refunded me and dealt with the logistics with the airline themselves.
On November 17, they said that LATAM Airlines could not authorize a full refund of the ticket unless I had an email from them stating that my flight had been cancelled. I explained everything to them again on November 19, but didn't receive a response. I sent another email on November 24, but still didn't receive a response.
Finally, on November 28, they sent me an email saying that for any change or cancellation, their agency charges $50.00. They said that my e-ticket fare was non-refundable and that the refundable amount was less than their service fee of $50.00. They said that if I chose to proceed with the cancellation of my ticket, no amount would be refunded.
I was outraged by this response. I had not cancelled the ticket, and they were the ones who had sent me an email stating that my flight had been cancelled or changed. I had been patient throughout this whole ordeal, but this was too much. I had to pay fees for my credit card and Skype, and I had wasted a lot of time and energy dealing with this issue.
I did some research and found that I was not the only one who had a bad experience with MyTrip. If anyone else feels like they have been robbed by MyTrip, please contact me so we can talk about a way to make justice with them. I am also posting this review on every portal and platform I can.

Booked flights without the correct visa
Order nr [protected], I booked a flight and never knew I needed a visa for London therefore I couldnt fly from Johannesburg and is stuck now. Surely the consultant or agents had to make sure Ive got all the correct paperwork in order to fligh through London. I also paid a fee to reroute my flight but that flight couldnt be booked either. I need to rebook my flight from Johannesburg to France or need a full refund with compensation. I need this matter to be solved asap.

I booked a ticket through mytrip and tried to reroute my flights because I didnt have the right visa to fligh through London. It took 2 days and more money to reroute but to no success. The Jhb I was stopped and couldnt fligh any further due to the visa problem. I wasnt aware of a visa that was needed to fligh through London. Now Im stuck in Jhb.

Paying extra to reroute your flight only to face more issues is just adding insult to injury. You need this resolved immediately. Demand a rebooking from Johannesburg to France or a full refund with compensation. They need to take responsibility for this mess. Keep pushing and make sure they understand you won't back down until this is fixed. You deserve better treatment, and it’s time they deliver. Stay strong and get the resolution you deserve.

My story: I bought round trip flights with stopover for two (my partner and I) to Albania, paying the added extra of flight change and cancellation.
My goal was to be as relaxed as possible: (i) A travel agency guarantees you the transfer between flights and (ii) change of flights in case something happens and (iii) refund and cancellation in case of need.
Half a day before the departure of the outbound flights, the airline of the second flight (Rome to Tirana) advances the flight to before the departure of the first flight. In other words, the transfer is no longer possible.
I call Mytrip urgently: NO ONE answers, it was 7 pm. I tried for hours. Next step, I call the airlines (who do answer) but they tell me that since I have contracted through a travel agency it is mandatory that I check with them.
I call Mytrip the next day at 9 am, finally I get someone to answer, I explain the situation and they tell me that (i) I have to pay 30? for them to deign to deal with the issue (even having paid the extra change and cancellation fee!) and (ii) that since they didn't answer me yesterday, that now the flights to Tirana from Rome that day and the next are full. So they can only change me to a flight in two days in the morning.
Conclusion: I lose a day and two nights of my vacation in addition to paying the stay and food in Rome and cancel hotels and car rental in Albania (Rome would not have been bad if I had not already been there several times). And Mytrip confirms that I have a flight two days later.
I WISH THE STORY WOULD END HERE.
But no, because once in Rome, in the afternoon, I receive an SMS message from MyTrip saying that they have not changed my flights due to an administrative issue and that I do not have the boarding passes for tomorrow morning's flight. They have charged me an extra 30? and they have not changed my flight! And we are in Rome without flights or hotel! I call them, no answer. I call the airline, they do answer but they tell me that since I have contracted with Mytrip, I have to talk to them.
So, the next day I go to the check-in desk at 6 a.m. (Mytrip still doesn't answer) and I explain to the people at the counter what happened to me. The airline employees are astonished. They tell us that indeed, Mytrip has not made the changes and we have no flights. They took pity on us and made the changes themselves, as luckily there were still open seats on the plane.
We arrived in Albania, I insist, in spite of Mytrip, that the only thing they have been for the moment is an obstacle to talk to the airlines.

But no, because for the return flights, the first airline delays its flight a few hours and once again the transfer is not possible.
I demand by e-mail to Mytrip to call me back because they do not answer. They call me and I ask them to please change the flights and they tell me they can't. Just to insist, I bought the extra for flight changes and cancellations, and I had to pay them another extra to manage the changes, and they tell me they can't! Unbelievable...
So, they don't give me any solutions and the only thing they tell me is "you can cancel and ask for a refund". But what I want is for them to give me a solution, not to cancel and the buy new flights two days before departure because the flights were now at 400? per person. But they don't care.
And indeed, they didn't care. Zero solutions, they only let me cancel. I had to cancel and buy other flights.
And as icing on the cake: I still haven't been refunded for the return flights! The fact that they take so long to give me the flight refund and they say it's the airline's fault seems already suspicious, but the extras that I paid directly to them? How is it possible that not even that has been refunded?
Hiring Mytrip has ended up costing me much more time and money than what the original trip was supposed to cost.
Bottom line:
- Mytrip is not going to secure your flight transfer.
- Mytrip is going to be an obstacle to negotiating or talking to the airlines.
- Mytrip will charge you extra if you expect them to give you solutions, and then they won't give any to you.
- The extra "change insurance" is strictly useless, it's a waste of money.
- And if you have a problem and cancel, they won't refund your money either.
It is a thousand times better to buy directly with the airline and buy their change and cancellation insurance, which at least serves some purpose. Mytrip does not provide any kind of added value.

The amount of R2 485.89 was deducted from my account on 30 January 2024 for the ticket though for order number MSQJGV which seems not to exist. On 26 January I bought a ticket for Nonhlanhla Molea for 5 February 2024 for Order number MSEBGO as indicated on the bank statement.
The flight to Cape Town is supposed to be tomorrow morning. may you please attend to this. It is a big inconvenience.

Lack of professionalism, training and desire to resolve issues
My booking was changed by the airline and when Mytrip updated the booking they had done so without adding the 23kg's luggage allowance on the amended outbound. I called them about this and they were truly shocking. My immediate feeling was the staff are very poorly training and there is no management oversight. The member of staff I dealt with was very rude and condescending.
He sent me the confirmation again and when I checked it again it did not have the luggage allowance on there. I asked for his name which he didn't give me and I asked to speak to a manager and he refused.
Please avoid this company at all costs. I really regret booking a ticket with them.

mytrip cancelled my ticket without my permission, after i had called and simply INQUIRED about cancelling and was supposedly awaiting a call back from a supervisor, which never happened. at 12:36am I received an email saying that "as agreed", they have cancelled my ticket. as soon as i caught this, i called them and asked them to reinstate or give me a full refund. Mytrip withholding three refunds they have received
Exactly two months ago, my daughter and her two friends booked through Mytrip. Their flight got cancelled. The airline has refunded Mytrip for all three passengers bookings and yet my daughter and her friends have not yet seen a dime of their money! Mytrip representatives all tell you the same thing (spoke to 19 representatives so far)-" Your refund request has been made a priority" or they "have escalated your refund request to the support team/refund team/back office" They say their supervisor will call you back and the supervisors NEVER do. Flight iz26, from marrakech to tel aviv, which was intended on the 1.10.2022 was cancelled by the airline (arkia airline) on the 1.05.2022. Since then we are corresponding with mytrip, through them were made 3 orders: lkhplc, 5 persons, lkdzwz, 5 persons and lkeowo, 2 persons. We are asking to get the refund for the above flight from marrakech to tel aviv for the 2 orders: lkhplc and lkdzwz. On december 2022 we only received the refund for order lkeowo. They do not handle our demand for refund and they are always answering the same answer: that they are escalating our demand. We are asking for help to receive what we are eligible to get. I gotta say, MyTrip (mytrip.com) is not the best travel booking website out there. I mean, if I could give them a 0 rating, I totally would. I was reading some of the reviews and it's pretty obvious that some of them are fake, probably from bots or something, just to make their ratings look better.
So, here's what happened. My flight got changed with only a few days' notice, and they offered me a flight 24 hours before my original one. I know that's not their fault, but still, it was a bit of a hassle. They gave me two options: either take the new flight and pay the difference, or apply for a refund and lose all the extras I've already paid for. I was stuck, because the rest of my trip was already booked and I didn't want to mess it up.
After that, it was just a nightmare. I spent countless hours on hold, and every time I talked to someone, they could barely speak English and just read from their scripts. They issued a new ticket, but it didn't include the baggage we had already paid for. I got a confirmation email two days before my flight, but it had the wrong date on it. And then, the day before my flight, I got an email saying they couldn't book my bags for me, and I had to do it at the airport. No apology, no nothing. I had to call them four times just to sort everything out, and even then, they didn't refund me for everything I had paid for.
To make matters worse, I paid for vegetarian meals on the flight, but they didn't book them for me. I mean, seriously? I paid extra for that and they couldn't even get it right.
So, unless you want to spend hours on the phone and start your vacation with a ton of stress, I would avoid MyTrip. I still have to deal with them when I get back, but I'm thinking of going through my credit card company instead. These guys are just a bunch of cowboys.
MyTrip: A Scam Website Stealing Money for Cancelled Flights - Beware!
This company, MyTrip, is a complete scam. Don't believe the "5-star, great service" reviews, as they are highly suspicious when compared to the numerous negative reviews. As a doctor working in the UK, I have proof that MyTrip is nothing more than a consumer scam. I am currently discussing legal proceedings with my EU Consumer Rights lawyers to make a case against this company.
I booked flights with a connection in Hong Kong from Heathrow to Melbourne, leaving on September 30th. However, six days prior to the flight, I received an email from MyTrip explaining that the airline had cancelled the flight. MyTrip only offered an alternative flight that would make it impossible to make the connection, or a refund if I contacted them.
This is where the scam begins. MyTrip's call centers charge premium rates to many countries to resolve complaints. I have spent a total of 158 minutes on the phone with them (most of which was on hold), and nothing has been done.
Despite the airline (Virgin Atlantic) informing me that due to the flight cancellation, I would be entitled to a full flight refund to be arranged through MyTrip, they continue to say that they are waiting for the airline to authorize the refund before releasing it. However, Virgin Atlantic informed me that they have received no such request from MyTrip. All of my calls to the company just end up being redirected to a different person, clocking up premium call charges and sending me in circles.
This company is nothing more than a scam website. They have no Alternative Dispute Resolution agency to oversee them. If you check TripAdvisor, you can see hundreds of cases of MyTrip magically changing connecting flights and then refusing to offer refunds or saying a refund would be pointless due to their "cancellation fees."
In summary, MyTrip is a highly suspect, borderline illegal racketeering organization that steals money for flights that are often cancelled. I am currently involved with EU Consumer rights lawyers to further this. Avoid this company at all costs. I will be sharing my story on every available forum to try to help others.

Awful experience. Booked a flight to Tenerife as a present to my bf for his birthday in the end of October. I was charged booking flight and was received booking confirmations. The flight was supposed to happen on 26th of February. For all these months I have been receiving promotional newsletters about our upcoming trip. I was several times also offered to book additional services, rent a car etc. I would never think that there might be any issue with my flight, as my booking was perfectly accessible at any time.
A week before the flight I decided to book in seats directly with the airline - my reservation wasnt found there. I wrote to MyTrip to get a confirmation that my flight is ok and also booked automated check-in just to be on a safe side.
On the evening of 24th of February (less than 2 days before the flight), I got an email back saying that my booking has been cancelled by the airline due to dupe booking (in the end of October I tried to book with several agencies but only one with MyTrip went through, for what I was charged by MyTrip). After hours spent on the paid calls both with the Airline and the agency, it got established that the airline has cancelled my booking exactly the day I have made it. The agency not only has booked me onto another flight, but hasnt even notified me, sending me tons of promotions. The agency have refused to assist me the day before my flight, so we ended up buying last-minute flights which were almost 3 times more expensive than the price of original booking.
To this day I haven't received my money back for that cancelled booking and for obviously not provided check-in that I booked additionally. I am completely ignored by MyTrip, the last email is dated end of February where they basically stated that my booking is not cancellable and refundable (even though it was already cancelled against my will and without my knowledge). Etraveli, "parent" company of MyTrip, is ignoring my messages as well.
I had eye convulsive tick for around 4 weeks because of that all the nerves I spent due to that situation. Also during our trip we were not able to eat out and had to stay indoors and cook as all the budget went to last-minute flights - our hotel reservations were not cancellable.
Do not buy with them unless you want a similar situation to repeat for you too.
Terrible Booking Experience: Website Changed My Booking Without Notice and Poor Customer Service
This website is not good, I tell you. I travel a lot and I have never seen a website as bad as this one. They changed my booking without telling me, maybe on purpose to make me pay more for changes or cancellations. After I paid for my flights, I waited for confirmation but the website didn't show my bookings at all. Then, after a while, I got 12 confirmation emails in 5 minutes, but they showed a different time from what I had chosen and paid for. They changed my booking without showing me anything on the screen while I was booking and paying. I called the customer service right away to tell them what happened, but I was on the phone for 3 HOURS! They accused me of making it up and didn't believe me. I tried to explain the situation and sent them all the confirmation emails, but they kept saying it was my fault and I had to pay £45 to cancel the flight or wait 24 hours to change it and pay the seat difference. I paid for a flex ticket, so I should be able to change it without paying extra. They didn't accept that there might be something wrong with their booking system and kept asking me to pay. It was a joke! I checked their reviews while I was on the phone and found out that they never fix the problem and just send you in circles. They told me to call again tomorrow or send a complaint. After 3 HOURS on the phone, I didn't get any answer and I felt insulted and treated poorly. They just want to charge people extra. I am surprised by this level of service. I warn everyone to stay away from this website. Skyscanner should review this agency and not let them work with it. It's a shame and it's not acceptable. The service is unbelievable and disappointing.
Terrible Experience with Mytrip: Incorrect Flight Bookings and Poor Customer Service
This company is not good at all! They don't seem to care about their customers and only care about invoicing. I had a terrible experience with them when my connecting flights were canceled, and I had to rebook. The agent made a mistake and rebooked my flights for a month later than necessary, and after three calls, Mytrip was unwilling to make the required adjustments. I had to pay hundreds of dollars in service fees and additional flight costs, which was not Mytrip's fault.
The agent rebooked my flights incorrectly over the phone, and I was supposed to depart on April 22, but he booked May 22. He also booked my transfer flight and my return flight exactly one month late as well. When I called Mytrip for support, the agent on the phone told me I entered the wrong dates when I rebooked. I had to argue with him and point out that a Mytrip agent made the entries. After some time and research, he stopped disagreeing.
I was told a supervisor would check urgently to help, but I had to follow up with Mytrip about the error in rebooking my flights after not hearing back from the supervisor after 6 hours. The agent I spoke with said a callback from a supervisor would take some more time. When I followed up again, another agent claimed no notes indicating the previous agent had elevated this problem to a supervisor. There had been zero movement or progress, and there were no supervisors that they could/would transfer me to for closure.
The agent simply said that I was responsible for the change fees to Mytrip, the airline, and the increase in fare. He also recommended that I file a formal request for investigation, which I have done. It took 4 hours of phone time and about $1000 in total to get my reservations straight. It was unforgettable and unforgivable.
This company needs to improve its behavior towards its customers if it wants to survive.
Pathetic Customer Support Experience with myTrip.com - A Warning to All Travelers
My experience with myTrip.com was absolutely pathetic. I had to change the dates for a flexible ticket that I bought through SkyScanner and it was a nightmare dealing with their customer support team. I paid over ?800 for the ticket and had to make at least 4 phone calls and spend more than 6 hours just to make one change. The majority of their customer support representatives were rude and unhelpful. It seemed like they were only allowed to provide two options to the customer and the customer had to choose one of those options, even if they didn't like them, or call back later.
Today, I had to call the customer support team twice. The first call was disconnected after waiting for almost 90 minutes. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not. I had to make another call and wait for another 70 minutes before someone finally picked up. If the call gets disconnected, no one from the customer support team calls you back. You have to start the conversation all over again when you call back. After waiting on the call for 3 hours today, the representative was not flexible in providing proper options to reschedule the tickets. I was given two itineraries for the date change that I requested. The representative was not able to provide a price for one of them and I was asked to either accept the second itinerary or call back later. After waiting for hours on the call, who would want to call back later? So, I was forced to take the second option, which had a waiting time of 7 hours and 45 minutes during the transit and a price difference of another ?140. The representative did not have the patience to wait for a few minutes for me to make the payment and threatened to disconnect the call if I didn't choose the itinerary he provided and make the payment immediately.

I am extremely disappointed with MyTrip (mytrip.com). I recently had to cancel my flight due to my father's terminal illness, and I was shocked to learn that I would not be receiving a refund. This is unacceptable! I cannot afford to lose R7000 just like that. I chose this ticket because it was the cheapest option, and now I am being punished for it. It's not fair!
