Beware! Check thoroughly the parts you buy from this company. I purchased a timing kit for a customer's vehicle, and it almost costed me a lot of money because as it turns out one of the camshaft gears were assembled incorrectly. After my technician installs a timing kit, I have them turn the motor by hand to make sure that the timing marks are lined up perfectly. Upon turning the motor, the engine would lock up as if the valves were hitting the piston and the timing was off, so we double checked to make sure everything was done right, and it was. So, I had him tear everything back a part only to realize the gear was in fact the correct gear but was manufactured the wrong way. I called parts geek to let them know of the error and the first thing they said was because the part was already installed that they would not take it back. Really? so I went on to explain that yes, the part was installed, and it would have been disastrous had we not checked it before cranking the engine. Then she went on to say that it's our job to make sure the part is right, and I told her it looked correct and as Comsumer's buying parts from a company that we should trust that they are providing quality and correct parts especially since the part was ordered over the phone with a sales agent. At this point I think I was more upset from her response than that of the part almost damaging customers engine.
