I will advice to Indian country people. Please do not take any mobile connections from RIM, because they are cheating with the customer like if you have post paid connections and if you are not going for itemize bill then your monthly bill goes too high as soon as you go for itemize bill your monthly bill amount will come down. Again they make you fool by generates duplicates call when call somebody that way they increase your bill amounts every month.

I have purchased a reliance RD 6250 prepaid mobile on 17/10/2007, thereafter I clicked a few photographs , which I wish to download to my personal computer. The cable provided with the instrument is not able to transfer the data from the mobile to the computer after attaching the cord the a message comes" if your hardware came with an installation CD install it now". I am therefore unable to down load the phots taken On asking the vendor he told me to buy another product to help down load. My question is that why was it not told to me before that the photographs cannot be downloaded. If they can why are the people at reliance unaware of such a thing. Please can you help me download pictures. If the data cable is faulty please have the same replaced. Hope to hear from you soon.

Last month I failed to pay my monthly bill of this post paid conection, resulting which my out going facilities is barred(which is logical enough) but from today(01/05/08) my incoming facilities is also barred . On asking I got a reply that after 51 days of non-payment my service(all types) will be suspended.

I have just purchased Reliance Data Card Model EC 325 on Sunday, 25th May, 2008. Along with the purchase of datacard I was informed that it will be activeted as soon as my address verification process is completed, further more I was assured that it will not take more than 2 working days in activation of my data card. Address verification is completed yesterday noon before 12:00P.M.
It's already 3rd working day, my father has visited the Reliance Web World at Bhavnagar, Gujarat where he did not get any positive response. One of my friend has purchased 2 Reliance phones last week but one of them is still not activated.
This all incidents are pointing to a very poor service to of Reliance Communication at Bhavnagar Center Reliance Web World and hense resulting in poor customer satisfaction.

Both this number are not activated and no good reason is issued for the delay.

This is reference regarding the connection no. [protected]. We had purchased this number under the 1-year advanced payment scheme. After one month it was automatically disconnected due to address verification (as the reliance dealer said), when we called in customer care, they said they disconnect the service due to payment, not the address verification problem. Payment due date was 27 May 08. We drop the cheque 27th may 2008 in reliance drop box. The payment was cleared on 30 may 2008, today is 3 June 2008, still my services is not activated. my complaint no is [protected].

I have been using your Reliance Global calling card for a year and I am extremely satisfied with the product. I have never contacted your customer care department as I have never faced any problems till 18th of June 2008. Unfortunately on 22nd June 2008 I was really upset with the services of your customer care representatives, show room executives, help line & managers.
I had an amount of approx. Rs 400 plus balance still left in my mobile phone. The validity was going to expire on the 18th of June 2008.
I called customer care before the 18th and asked them how many days grace period I had left. They said 15 days in which I would have to get my cell renewed or else the amount will get lapsed.
I went on the 22nd of June 2008 to get my mobile validity renewed.
I have been using Reliance Global calling card for nearly a year from which I can make only ISD calls to my sister & brother in law who reside in the US.
When I went there they told me the validity & amount had lapsed when I still was in the grace period.
They told me the card had two validities. I was not aware of this and neither had any of your customer care people informed me when I inquired with them somewhere before the 18Th of June 2008. Had they informed me I would have immediately got my cell renewed.
Your customer care people should have paid more attention to my question I had asked them around 18th of June 2008.
The question I had asked them was, “I have a Global calling card & its validity will expire on the 18th of June 2008 what is the grace period?”
Answer I received was “15 days”.
They could have given me a much better reply by saying,
“Your validity will expire on the 18th of June and you have a grace period of 15 days but please keep in mind that if the main validity is not renewed before the expiry date (which I am still not aware of) then your total money will elapse within this grace period of 15 days. So I suggest you get it renewed today itself. Is there anything else I can help you with?
This process would have hardly taken 10 min. He/ She could have asked, ‘may I please have your phone number’, which would have been fed in the computer to give the exact balance & validity of the cell. After that the correct and precise information would have been shared with the customer and not led to any misunderstanding, harassment etc. The customer on the other hand would not only be satisfied but also delighted. Why? Because the customer care rep was not trying to sell him anything but educate him and also retain a customer.
Later I spoke to your helpline number and asked them if they could resolve the problem. Their immediate reply was “NO COMPANY POLICY”
I am sorry to say that it seems the company does not value its existing customers.
If you have satisfied & delighted customers it will generate sales automatically and you would not have to spend money on advertisements, endorsements, salesmen merchandising or for that matter customer care.
Advertisements and other sales promotion activities would only then become a means of providing information to people of new product launches by the company.
Sir the loss of rupees four hundred is not hurting me but it is the attitude of the employees of not wanting to help or retain the customers which is.
Sir I don’t mind spending 1000 rupees on something where I see my money has been used wisely but if I am cheated by even two rupees it hurts a lot. I work very hard for my salary. I am not begging but trying to bring to your attention how India’s No. 1 company can improve customer satisfaction with a little bit of feedback which it receives from its existing customers.
Reliance has started its business from scrap and it is now one of top companies in Forbes Magazine which I & every Indian admires & is proud of.
You spend crores of money in customer care but they still give wrong information & it is the customer who is made to suffer. Then what is the meaning of customer care?
I have lost at least Rs400 plus harassment from the one of India's most recognized company. I have argued with them for hours with the staff but they seem to enjoy the customer leaving the office dissatisfied and hurt.
They only want new sales.
They are not bothered about their existing customers. They want me to beg in front of them.
I also know that you might never read what I have written as you are an extremely busy man and have such a big Empire to run

I would like to inform you that the above mentioned Mobile was made Life Time upto the year 2021. Suddenly I have heard from you that my life time is expired in November, 2008. The reason you are showing that within 6 months I have not made recharge Rs. 200/- in this period.
In this connection I would like to draw your kind attention that during this period you were showing unbelievable accounts and I complained you several times to rectify the accounts but no action has been taken yet. For example without outgoing call by me, I found my balance were duducting, some time Rs. 10/-, Sometime Rs. 15/- etc.. As per your record now even I have Rs. 43/- balance. I can challenge you that during this 6 months period I have made recharge above Rs. 200/-. Due to your technical snag why I have to suffer ? Why you have not made pre-caution ealier regarding this ? Why you suddenly cut off the Life Time ? This is totally fault of yours. Why we will suffer by such type of mistake of yours ?

i recharged my mobile by 799 for unlimited STD/Local on 11/03/2009.On 12/03/2009 by 2: 45 my balance was start deducting while talking to a reliance STD number . i complaint on same day by 3:00 pm. i have told my problem and customer care representative has given a request number. after 1 day when i calle d again, one customer care representative tell that your complaint is closed. i want to ask, hw could he closed my complaint without solving my problem and he had not sent any confirmation SMS. he has taken my complaint again and saying within 2 days problem will be solved.
i want to say that customer care service is not oriented towards solving the problem. please take attention towards my complaint.

Very true... I was having a reliance postpaid connection. These guys were doing fake billing month on month. At last I changed my postpaid connection to prepaid one and my phone was disconnected for 2 days for the same. These buglers generated a bill of Rs.128 for that 2 days too.
That was heights... I finally discontinued my reliance connection. My suggestion will be to stay away from Reliance...
