bed bugs
we rent 2 beds and frames from rent a center in henderson nevada back in december we noticed bedbugs on both sets of beds we have hardwood floors we let our complex manager know we had an exterminator come and look at the said beds he said there was noway that we could of brought them to the apartment we have hardwood floors plus 2 or 3 other tenants also...

My fiancée got three items from RAC in Russellville, Ky and already paid the game console off leaving us two payments left on the tv. He had to get a loaner stove twice and we were told by the district manager that they aren't suppose to charge us the price of the loaner stove but the price on his original stove. Looked at his bills and they were charging $24.95 for both knowing he was only paying $19.95 before tax. They are unprofessional with everything they do at this store and they beat on our door before and after the store opens and close. My neighbor was going to call the police after she heard pounding and told them its 10 at night and they close at 7. Im about to take them to court if i get one more nasty voicemail and another neighbor complains.

Used gas stove they helped out some but feel it's not worth what they are asking get it delivered. Haven't seen it till it got to the house said they cleaned it yeah some. Oven racks missing knob lose on stove . Think I'm paying way to much for the stove. Should make them take it back and order me a brand new one for what I'll be paying for this one. Then it seem like they had no idea what they were doing had to get the stove from another store they didn't have any gas ones there took over 2 hours to get everything in order . Told them I have a 100$ credit at another store but they either didn't hear me or didn't care to hear me.

I was diagnosed with melanoma cancer in July. Always tried toake a payment.. nowY father who has been traveling back and forth to Roanoke since 11th of November due to lung cancer. Now I had a nasty voicemail from Wes at the Bluefield Virginia store amd terrible customer service telling me it's always some type of excuse... Very rude and discourteous... I feel I have paid enough on this used refrigerator.. due toe surrendering my washer and dryer back in August to them... I have to have a refrigerator.. I am beyond upset. Very in compassionate people. They live to harass their customers but have no idea what their workers do or how they talk to customers.. example using a rent a center delivery truck to do drug deals... seriously come on... they meet to be put in their place! I'm sure I have paid enough on this used refrigerator to pay for a new one times 2
my disabled mother and kids and unclear due date.
I have two products with RAC and my refrigerator payment is up to date and my bed I just got it the week of christmas and my local RAC is saying my payment was due for the bed is due again when it should be due this week if I just got it. But my mom calls and says that they were outside banging on the door with their feet. My kids were crying and scared thinking it was their some trying to break in. Over a one 78 dollar payment that should be due this week. I have no problem paying because I work as many jobs as I need to to support my kids being a single parent. we got used furniture and a frig on a payment plan.Was late three times
but always paid something .THe female worker there got smart and very rude on the phonetwice .First time last week THURS after Xmas and then today.She stated the big boss will have them come get it soon .So today told her come get it they never showed up, after she said they would.We took out all food and unplugged it and waited all day.Now losing the food we had.besdes that I told her before, at least were paying what we can.And not months behind unlike some.Also not hiding and we always returned calls.Till she thought she could talk to me, any way she wished .come get the stuff We are done.p.s the couch has big stains on it that we didn't see till we got home either .So the set not worth the price, which they added more to it.

I have been renting a product from the winchester va store. I've received threatening calls and voice mails from the store manager dan and several of his employees. Yes i have feel behind in my acct i was in a car accident and lost my job. I let them know this. I had a acct manger contact me with a agreement to buy out since i was so close to owning what i am renting. Well on 1/5/18 dan left another nasty rude message on my phone as well as my mother. Commenting on something that is none of his business. I had a employee come to my house a week before christmas told him to take the product and he refused to. I don't appreciate being disrespected and threatened by dan. He's making a arrangement to pick up the product this coming week. I explained to them from the jump my situation to be harassed by them is unnecessary. I need to know how this matter is going to be handled.

My name is Tymika Garfield and I am a well known customer with RentACenter in IN Town and Country Center but I feel disrespected and lied to... They never come on time, they always have excuses and no one can give you a straight answer. I have been waiting all day for a maintenance visit and no one showed but when I called to complain everyone then has something to say. I pay good money on a weekly basis and feel as though my time has come to part my ways. I never been late or missed a payment and do not like the way my concerns are handled. The associates are rude and very unprofessional.

Today I witnessed the unbelievable gross actions of a store manager directly affecting the health and well-being of my husband. I had a washer and dryer through Renta center and was a few weeks late but just started a knew job so I was a little unsure of when I was getting paid. When Renta center attempted to reach me my phone wasn't working. You see a few months ago my husband had a massive stroke an I was already renting a computer when the stroke happened the store manager lyndee told me then she would help in any way she could and even asked how he was doing when I had to return the computer. I lost my job and had no income, then a few months later my washer went out and I rented one from them, this month I was a few weeks late and when they showed up I decided to not answer the door expecting them to go away and I would figure out how to get the money by Monday, but to my dismay they stayed beating on my door fore more than two hours talking to all my neighbors while trashing us and giving details of our business to people making us look horrible, I heard them outside talking mean calling us name and giving personal details to our neighbors which I believe was very unprofessional, ok maybe I should have answered the door but I didn't think Renta center was some kind of Al Capone, stalking us, hiding the truck on the other side of the house, and when we finally snuck outside and locked the gate they proceeded to bang on the garage and scream for us to come out, all the while my husband was getting increasingly upset, his head was hurting and his blood pressure was up, I couldn't believe that lyndee was doing this knowing that my husband was very I'll. I am fully aware that I was in the wrong for not answering the door, this behavior was outright intimidating and uncalled for. When I finally couldn't handle the misery my husband was going through I went to the gate to let them Know I was trying I was ambushed and screamed at leading to a huge fight and I attempted to tell them I had stuff in them the pushed passed me so she was all the way in my yard then insulted me by saying at least she could afford her [censor], I lost my cool and said several things back but at this point I have been stressed out, embarrassed, and humiliated in front of my daughter, husband and, neighbors, I still should have held my tongue but by the time we where at this point my husband was very I'll, I will never do business with Renta center or any where this manager works, she pretended to care but as she said her pockets are full from people like us who can't afford things and those who pay restitution because they gave hard times. Manager David from 538 west broad st hazleton p. a 18201 came to my house to pick up bedroom set because of no payments I understand that I was out of town and once I came back I was waiting for them to pick it up. December 9th 2017 david came banging on my door while I tried to get dressed he continued to band on door knocking off my speakers off my wall and also cracked my door which I have pictures of and 3 witness who were there that day because I took long to open due to me getting dressed and trying to calm the kids down because they were scared he threatened to call child services. As I and 3 other adults were in the house at the time. I understand that I wasnt making payments but for a manager to break my door and threaten me because I was getting dressed and took a little long is a horrible manager does not know how to talk to customers. I've been doing business with rent a center for years now it's gotten horrible to do things with them I just went back to work after being put of work for 2 months but I still made some type of Payment the store manager had no issue with that just as long as I was upfront with him so now I'm waiting on my first check Thursday and I am going to turn in everything and never go back they called my mom who is 3 hours behind me on the west coast as I'm on the east coast they have called her at 530am 6am many times I've even said make a note saying don't call her until after 10am her time but still call her that times I'm done with them

Randy (don't know his last name) He is the store manager for the store located at 3441 Kentucky Ave. Indianapolis Indiana 46241. He is harassing me. When I go to the store to make a payment he makes sexual comments to me. Today, 12-2-17, I went in to the store to make a payment, Randy spoke to me. He knew why I was there. 2 hours later a random guy from Rent a center was beating down my front door. He was demanding payment and said that Randy had sent him. As I stated before, Randy saw me in the store. It is very unsettling that some random guy has my address. Due to Randy's poor judgement in handling my address, I will be doing business elsewhere. I don't like going to the store as it is due to his comments. I would like something to happen, like maybe retraining. It's poor business to make sexual comments and then send a random man to my house demanding payment that I had already made. My husband has some items through rent a center in Lafollette Tn. He was late on a payment due to the fact I had surgery and was in the hospital. I had told them we would be in the following week to pay both payments and they said that was fine. Well during this time they kept leaving notes on my door, calling his references repeatedly telling them our business. May I remind you this account is my husband's and his name only. They called my phone alot as I am in the hospital. Then I get a message request of Facebook from one of the managers wanting to talk to us about "our" account. I told him it wasn't my account it was my husband's, and explained I was in the hospital and we hadn't been home, and that I had called and let a manager named Robert know who said it was fine. I got out of hospital on a Tuesday and my husband gets paid Wednesday. We had a note on our door. I called and again spoke to a manager named Robert. I told him my husband would be in on the following day to pay both payments. He said that would be fine. Later that same day I was at my parents (who may I remind you my dad is sick and has to get up to anwser the phone) and THEY kept calling there phone. Why in the hell are they harassing my family. It's not right and it's a breach of info telling all our info. One of his references is a co worker and it's embarrassing they call them and let them no all your info and business about being late on payments. So as I come home later that day I had another note on my door from them saying they needed to schedule a time to come pick up merchandise. What the hell? I had talked to them that morning and they said it was fine I could come pay the very next day but yet leave notes and harass my family in the process of them saying it was ok. So this is the morning I go pay. So as Wednesday comes around my local store doesn't open until 10:00 am. The managers there was calling my references at 8:30 am saying stuff to them. Well how the hell am I suppose to come pay you when your store isn't open yet? I have never seen such unprofessionalism in all my life. So I proceed to look at my phone I had another harassing message on Facebook from manager named Cory telliing me they needed my merchandise (once again store isn't even open yet) so all I can say is good luck to them getting anything from me. I will not pay a dime, and will keep the merchandise as long as I can. It's ridiculous your people knows a person had a major surgery, had been in the hospital, and could care less about them or harassing there family in the process. If this is procedure and how you all work then you need to regroup and learn how to treat people with respect. If feel as if they use this tactics to bully people. Even though you call and talk to them about your account, and they say it's ok, they still threaten you with taking your stuff, call you constantly, harass your reference, give out your personal info to them. How is this even legal? It would be a cold day in hell before I recommend you all to anyone. Never again will I use this place. We have quit a few items also so you guys are loosing a big account, also my mom was gonna use you all for something but since she was harassed several times a day by them over my account she decided against it real quick. Something needs to be done, and done quick. Worst place by far I ever dealt with.

I rented two TVs from here. My payment was due November 25th. Bruce someone who works for you guys called my mother on Monday November 27th and gave out all my information on what I rented, what day I rented it how much it is and where it went which was my address. It is non of her business and I am very upset. He then said yes I did cause you are late .Today is Monday a day late, no reason to call anyone and on top of it give out my information.
Is your mother's phone number considered an alternate number for you? If it is then often times companies will provide information to the owner of that number. I'm sure this can prevented in the future if you make your payment by the due date.
Although I can appreciate the concern, I would think the solution is pretty simple in just making a payment on time.

Back in October 2017 I sent my computer back due to a green line appear on my screen. They had it about 2 weeks and and called me that it is fix and to pick it up. The manager said they can't fix it because They are blaming me for my computer error when there is no damage to it. I inform them that the green line is a sign that something in the computer is going out and needs to be replace.

I bought a used bunk bed from rent-a - center in Asheboro NC . I was told by the manager Ryan that the beds where used and the matches where used but where refurbished . I just bought a new house and now I have bed bugs from this beds. I'm very upset cause it's very expensive to get ride of. And my son has bites all over him. I seen one bug and killed it and there was eggs on the wall. I called and spoke to Ryan the manger about this and he said he would fill a claim. I need the address soon as possible. I had to throw all bedding away. And the bed and mattresses are outside. I am very upset about this . I believe if u by a used bed they should pass a law to provide a new mattresses for the beds. Customers service .he stated by 9pm they will come they neaver came to my house.On Friday next person called me.i told him they didn't pickup your further so by Tuesday theu said it would be pickup now they want me yo pay for the things that they should have picked up i told him i would talk to my husband about it my husband said let them pick it up I'll buy you one .I pay 50.dollar per week for the sofa .please make sure they come on Tuesday to get your sofa back.

I been a customer of rent - a - center since January of 2016. My first complaint is they are charging me full price for damaged tv as if was new. I complained about it and they took the TV away and returned it the same way. Stating that it came like that from the factory and nothing can be done about it. The screen has a scratch or scuff on it. None the less they continued to charge me as if it was new (un damaged) merchandise. The kingsize bed frame and mattress I realized I'm being charged almost the same price as if I would've purchased the whole 7 piece bedroom set. I would like to note it was pretty beat up when I got it. But I needed a bed and figured it would be cheaper. I fell behind on my payments and was harrassesd none stop everyday. I was out on workers comp and couldn't make payments since June. But I managed anyhow up until September. They called my work number after me requesting them to stop because its a company phone. Also I wasn't properly informed about the contract terms before signing by the manager. And was mislead because he told me ill be paying about 3000 for a 2000 dollar TV. But I realized it was more like 4200. Also I was never made aware of a so called arbitration agreement that came with the contract. Come to find out
the manager had no idea what I was talking about. They was very misleading when it came to get me to sign the contract and harassed me and told ppl about me falling behind on payments for me to contact them.

My wife went into the rent a center in Carlsbad NM located at 217 N Canal on 11/08/2017 with hope of finding a nice used sofa set with sleeper to host some family from out of state. After browsing around she didn't find anything that fit our homes decor, so she informs the employee (De'Andre) that greeted her she is not interested and thanked him for his time. She then was asked if she would be interested in a lap dance because he (De'Andre) was a great stripper and would be sure to please. For the past week she has been in a depression because of it.
