The site in Ozark, Al have been harassing me when I've followed up with them multiple times. The person I've been talking to has had a very nasty attitude towards me. I tried to reason with him, but the only thing he was interested was making rude remarks and saying, "where's the payment or the merchandise". They've been to my home 3 times in one day and visited my home twice after-hours. It has been only men coming to my home and I live alone. I do not open my door for any strange man that come to my home at night. Women and children have been taken out of their homes because of people posing as businesses. The employees also park some way down the street and I presume its to make the customer not think it's actually RAC.They have been banging on my door and all windows in my home not knowing they've been banging on my neighbor's window as well. My neighbors have complained about the loud noises and remarks the employees have made. This is unacceptable behavior. The aggressiveness is what concerns me.

Hello, I would like to come on here and say rent a center has good services. But I tell you the store manager have a rude attitude. And poor call services I mean in person just the out worst the one in yazoo city just no comment for it to be running a brand like that needs potential help with the services. I have made several complaints for almost a year now ive emailed pictures.. Talked to complaint center.. Store managers etc only to be told someone will be giving me a call back within three days.. At this point im very upset.. Disappointed and frustrated.. It has been two months since I last spoke to someone and it seems as no one is not responding.. The employees and manager is very rude I was called a [censored] by one of the employees and the manager is aware of it he seems to cover up for their wrong doings by say not to report to corporate he will deal with it because hes short of help and needs his employees.. Customer service
The Pocomoke City Maryland Rent-A Center is a joke. They are very nasty and rude. They do not know how to speak on the phone or leave a professional message about your account. I've been dealing with them coming up on a few years now. I've always had my merchandise on auto-pay. Since this new crew took over now my auto-pay doesn't work so they are calling me every hour on the hour about this issue. Each time I give the lady the number and it always goes through but then the very next week they are calling me again stating they need my permission to charge the card when I'm on auto-pay. It's ridiculous. They are not professional. They are nasty and rude. And don't ask for clarification, they really get nasty when you challenge what they are saying. I was told my pay off was $300. I pay $252 and she says there is still $159 owed. That math ain't mathing. This occurred on Thursday April 13, 2023 at around 3:30pm. and I'm at work, so they call at any time. The last three transactions they've called me to get the card number when I saw her take a photo copy of the card when I went in to set up auto-pay. She tells me that everyone else's auto-pay is working except for when it comes to my account. So I say fix it. They (a female and a male) were both yelling at me that it was somehow my fault. When I just gave them the card and it went through as I have done on the last 3 transactions. So why again is this my fault. I've been on auto-pay for every Saturday but this mix up has been going on for about 2 months now. Ridiculous. I'm so glad my bedroom set is almost paid for. I will never use them again.
Desired outcome: They should be fired or at least given some customer service training. Those guys definitely don't know how to speak on the phone. They sound like they didn't graduate high school.
Damaged
Ive called store and corporate several times and issue still not resolved I rented a stove and fridge almost a year ago and the delivery driver broke my huge mirror off my wall and put a hole in my wall store manage recieved pictures and driver admitted he did damage store manage tried to offer me a free week payment for damages and not to report damages stating the driver was new and could loose his job or written up I stated I was not agreeing with offer because mirror and wall damages would be more so I filed a complaint with corporate and still havent heard anything this is redicious im thinging about seriously renting from another company
Desired outcome: please refund or assest damages
delivery driver knocked my mirror off my wall and did damage to it and my wall as well installing fride and damage was never reimbursed claim was filed several times wirh store and disctrict manager as well a corporate driver admitted to damages was advised by store manager not to contact corporate he didnt want any actios taken towards his new driver because he needed his job and he will take care of it after 3 month nothing was done so he then ststed he would give me a week free on my merchadise i stated no because mirror and damaged wall repairs would be more i then file with corporate and still havent heard anything my items are almost paid off so its been a long time to not resolve this issue
Harassment/trespassing
Has threatened my child and his friend to open the door, lied to them and told them that they spoke with me and it’s okay to open the door to try to enter my home while a minor was there and no adult. He also tried to enter my home twice, he turned my door knob while my minor was home and purposely was scaring him. and has been in my windows ! I spoke with the manager at Dixie highway location, she told me she does not believe us and she wants her property back she did not care about my son at all! Regardless if we owe them or not it’s illegal to trespass and harass. Today they tried to open my door again by physically turning my doorknob & looked in my windows for over 10 mins.
Desired outcome: I want them to leave me alone or I will press charges for trespassing as I have them on camera. Criminal and civil laws will result in different actions taken, they are wrong AND I WILL PROSECUTE ABOUT MY CHILD IF I HAVE TO
My refrigerator hasn’t worked in 3 weeks. They came out here to get a payment and we gave them $400 but still did not get a replacement.
My name is Leslie Napier and I rent to own a whirlpool fridge from you all. I stopped making payments because it stopped working. They came out here this past Saturday and my son gave them $400 but they still did not get a new fridge. I have been in the hospital with a brain tumor so I wasn’t here to talk to them and I usually speak with Joey b. He’s a very nice young man but still hasn’t replaced my fridge.
I have called everyday and everyday they say tomorrow. I owe $1400 on a fridge that doesn’t work and ruined over $400 worth of food. So please do something I’m begging you. Or should I just throw it out the back door and take that $1400 and go buy s new one. I’m done playing games. Just tell them to come get this one.

Gary White my former boyfriend went to the Newton Rent a Center store 4404.
He was called several times by store manager Sharon Myers to pick up a set of tires she had found for him to rent. I am thinking he is going to set up his own account. But she allowed him to put a set of tires on my account without my consent. She cropped a previous electronic signature of mine to set this up. When I noticed the tires on my online account. I went to the store to confront Ms. Myers she looked at me and said you have nothing to worry about he is going to pay as if she lived with him and just knew he was going to pay. I could not understand why she allowed that to happen. There were other people around who heard our conversation, but none of them stepped in to say anything. I felt she wanted to make a quick sell for a quota or something. Mr. White did not believe in bank account, so I assume she put it on my account because I had a bank card. Mr. White also lied to her and told her agreed to this when I did not. As a policy she should have known to reach out to me first before setting this up. Mr. White and I are no longer in a relationship at first, he was paying the bill then he stopped because he wrecked and totaled his car. I got a call from the current store manager who was rude she did not say Hello how are you doing she simply said, "what are we going to do about these tires on your account." When I tried to explain what Ms. Myers did she accused me of lying because of the electronic signature. So, I got very upset. I paid the bill because I had another item that I needed to pay on. I called back and spoke to Tyler another manager he said he would make it legal that moving forward that no one could come in the store and add anything to my account without my knowledge. And the lady was in the background saying "that's why you come in the store to pay or set up new items on your account. First of all, I work, and the store is not close by, so I choose to pay online. She was unprofessional and needs to take some courses in customer service.
Desired outcome: The car has been wrecked and the tires are on them. I want my money back for what I have paid so far.

Hello, I'm a subcontracted TV repair service center in Michigan and I work locally on issues with Rent a Center warranty TV's. I'm contacted by local Rent a Center's stores when their customers have issues with their TV's. I normally receive a 1099 tax form every year for services done throughout the year. I didn't receive a form this year, I have tried emails, calls, district managers and NO one can get in touch with HR or the corporate offices in Texas. I myself, have left 10 messages in two weeks and countless emails asking for at least a reply or a way to contact the right department, nothing. If anyone can give me a contact number where you ACTUALLY speak to a person, it would be greatly appreiated.

I paid my rental bill twice in November two rentals on one by Bank One in cash receipts for both and they still haven't received my money both statements are complete my first payment to Rent-A-Center was made on the 17th on my bank card of $140 while standing down payment was approved next day they call set my payment did not go through I had to bring another $140 cash down there but my bank still saying Rent-A-Center was paid off cards I have $140 floating in the air that was paid to Rent-A-Center they say they did not receive my payment but I got receipts on my phone and paper my member ID is [protected] my phone number is [protected]

Customer service/payment/ taking me to court
I unfortunately bought a refrigerator from them . It was a problem from the beginning. It didn’t fit,the installation men were lovely but the store mgr was screaming at them about taking too long. Anyway, all is well until my mom was I’ll I missed a payment called and she harassed me 10 times a day I said I’d after she was out amd she kept calling. Rent-A-Center is not harassing you. The Manager wants you to make your payments or return the items. When you went to Rent a Center you signed a contract and your breaching it by not making the payments and are essentially stealing the items you rented. The Workers are banging on your door to get their stuff back and you're avoiding them.
I have been making my payments. Also coming to my home 2 or 3 times out of the day is harassment. Leaving an unnecessary amount of follow up slips EACH visit is very petty. Talking to my neighbors about me is straight up unprofessional. I dont appreciate being called a theif when I've made my payments.
