Auto claim
I hit a deer on December 30,2022. Filed my claim online 2 days. After a few days of my claim being started, my file for sent to investigation. Not sure why. That lasted for 7 weeks with numerous phone calls and being bullied by the investigator. The adjusters supervisor finally called me to tell me they are paying me claim, great! I recieved a check, deposited check 5 days later they stop payment on that check. They are telling me my vehicle is now totaled, which it isn't. They lowballed the value of my truck. I've asked several times to have a local adjuster come look at my truck and rewrite the estimate that I've had written by 2 body shops. They are refusing to do that. Not to mention most of the people I have had to deal with during this whole time have been extremely mean and rude on the phone.
Desired outcome: I want my truck fixed and back on the road
Safeco reports 2 false claims of $2000. Increased costs yearly $3025.08. Unauthorized withdrawal of $130.96.
7/18/22 Changed coverage on a Dodge Ram to liability. I was told coverage amount was $337.94.
7/30/27 unauthorized withdrawal of $439.39-$337.94=$130.96 owing myself.
8/27/22 Complaint reported to Safeco. Yes the employee should have changed dates but did not. There was nothing that can be done a Insufficient fee of $32.00. Cancellation to Safeco Insurance
8/31/22 Received letter stating per my request, insurance policy was canceled.
10/5/22 Received statement owing $30.96. Sent to a Collection Agency and reported to Credit Rating.
11/11/2022 Progressive reports Safeco had paid out to claims filed for $1000.00 a piece goal $2000.00 which caused a increase of policy of:
2016 Infiniti QX 60 of $15.35 monthly and a 2013 Ram 2500 $181.74
Total monthly $252.09 yearly cost due to false reports $3025.08.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of unauthorized withdrawal along with insufficient funds from bank, false claims reported removed from Safeco records and compensation for increase of new policy.
Kia forte insurance
on 2/17/2023, I was stopped by my local police. He came up behind me and ran my tag. After running my Insurance he pulled me over. He got out and said "can I see your Insurance." I came him my card. He ran it, it came back up
suspended. it was raining, so he asked if I could get out of the car and come up under the car shelter at a car wash nearby. He then proceeded to tell me that he had to impound my vehicle, due to none coverage. I told him that I do have Insurance and he said have sat here for almost 30 minutes trying to get in touch with your insurance and unable. This was the trust because I tried to. My car got impound. I went to the police dept and we sat there for almost an hour trying to get InTouch with Safeco and no one would answer the phone. I was upset and so was the police officer and Chief of police. I had to go to the tax commissioner's office to get my tag and they ran my policy and it appeared that my vin number was in wrong on my Insurance part. I was asked to get my insurance that day, which was 2/17/23 and to drop this Insurance; I did. I have a bill that the Insurance will need to take care and also I was paying for Insurance that was not my car.

Home Owners insurance
My mortgage company paid out $1,756 to Safeco on 1/17/2023 after I had cancelled the policy. Now when I call Safeco, they say they never got the payment. My escrow account went negative because they turned around and paid the new insurance company too. Now no one can tell me where my refund check is from SafeCo and are asking ME for check numbers etc that I don't have. It has been nearly a month and I want my money back! I have attached the mortgage statement showing where the policy payment was made.

Auto Insurance Claim
In November 2022 I was involved in an auto accident in which I was rear-ended. Soon thereafter I filed an Auto Claim #[protected]
When I log into the online system it does not show that the claim exists.
When I call SafeCo and choose the option for Claims and enter in the claim number I am directed to Alexandra Fisher at [protected]. I have left multiple messages but have not received a return phone call. The phone system is not user friendly so I am having trouble talking to a live person.
I am having issues with this claim and need SafeCo to pursue it.

A claim I never authorized for glass repair, Never would I make a claim for a $102 dollar repair
I was informed that my insurance was going up due to a claim. I have NEVER filed a claim nor would I for $102 dollar glass repair. I would gladly pay for this outright versus having a paid claim. Thank you for your help resolving this non-claim.

The lack of attention from SafeCo home insurance has given my claim. I filed a claim on 09/13/2022, and it is now 01/13/2023 and they have been giving me the run around about them not receiving, our documentation. We have sent them over 50 emails with what they are asking, and they still say they have no documentation. I have sent they reports and pictures to show what they are asking for. Everything is so clearly presented to them, but they still ignore the situation. I had to file a complaint to the department of insurance of California. SafeCo has re-asigned my claim to 2 adjusters and no one seems to take the time to review my claim.
Desired outcome: I would like my claim to be assigned to a local adjuster and have it approved as soon as possible.

Just got my annual renewal. Premiums went up 40%.
My agent actually called me to discuss. So I talked to my agent, but he didn't know why. He just had ideas for lowering or going to a different company.
I signed on to the SafeCo website. No way to ask a question ? All I can do is E-Mail my agent.
My agent didn't increase my rates; SafeCo did. Why did my rates go up 40% ?

Breach of privacy by agent
Right away, insurance broker John summer or Johan team member posted my personal information on the web... Breach of my privacy... They did not answer my questions pertaining to an information I requested... Later that day. I was prompted to do a review. Did mention incompetent and disrespectful based on my phone call from the team member and text message from broker. Then on the internet they disrespectful and posted my personal info. That info need to be removed immediately and that team unethical behavior needs to be addressed

My daughter : jullian nguyen, she is on this claim.
On 7/18/2022 she droped her vehicle at tracy body shop in lincoln nebraska and they scheduled she will pick up on 8/15/2022. Her first adjuster is miss monica hall, she helped with the rental car and deal with tracy body shop, every thing seem to be fine. But on 8/15/2022 my daughter return the rental car and came to tracy to pick up her vehicle, they didn't let my daughter pick up her vehicle. Thy said to my daughter: "the car insurance is review the file and they didn't pay them yet, so you have to callfor the insurance to get help". At that time my daughter is a college student, she really need her vehicle to go to school. My daughter tried to call to miss monica hall but she said, the claim was transfer to new adjuster: wanamaker, sean, and my daughter tried to call him from 8/15 - 8/22 but no answer. Every day she tried to ask some friends, relative drive her to school. It was crazy she didn'thave help from the safeco insurance, and she couldn't take her vehicle out from tracy body shop either.
On 8/22/2022 she came to tracy body shop to bait her vehicle out, she had to prepaid $649.77. Tracy body shop said they will reimburse when the safeco pay them. We had to wait until 10/22/2022 tracy body shop sent my daughter a chech $270.51 and they said the rest of her money had to wait for th safeco insurance. I was very up set why from 8/15 -8/ 22 sean wanamaker didn't take any respond my daughter claim, so she had to bait her vehicle out it was ridiculous. After that I tried to email to sean wanamaker and his manager babiker, ibtihal but they drove us around and they didn't want to solve my daughter problem event that sean wanamaker mistake. Why my daughter lost $379.26.
Insurance claim
I have submitted a claim to Safeco as one of their insured hit me in a accident that was the insureds fault.
I am trying to resolve this in the best way possible and I am trying to reduce the cost to your company Safeco Insurance but adjusters are being well either deceptive of refusing to pay my costs. I am dealing with one of your adjusters and I feel this will be a issue that will be brought to small claims court as difficult as he is being. I have been a Safeco policy holder for years and am very upset with these large increases and NO justification explained in your new premium notices. My local agent said all premiums in Washington State increased=why and Credit Score, my credit score is 720 and is higher than at the last premium quote so why?

I'm not sure if you will be able to help me but I'm not sure where to look. I was recently side swiped by a deer. I contacted my insurance company and they informed me that because I don't have full coverage they cant help me. I was under the impression that because I got my car from a dealership it had to be under full coverage.

Incentive to save $
I am very dissappointed with the SAFECO company concerning the "discount" applied to our vehicle insurance, after spending 6 hours and paying $26 to to complete (with 100% score) the "Mature Driver Accident Prevention "course online. We only received a 2% discount; which didnt even pay for (cover) the $26 I paid for the online course! I am going to suggest to other customers to not bother with the test; as the discount doesnt even cover the cost of the class; let alone being worth the 6 hour course time! A better business incentive for your company would be to offer at least 5-10% discount rate depending on the driving record of the customer!
BOO! to your company; I am looking for insurance elsewhere!

Overcharged
I had motorcycle insurance but since I ride only 5 months a year due to cold weather conditions I cancell my motorcycle insurance. I was going on a last trip for this 2022 yr so I got full coverage on one motorcycle. I pre paid two months in advanced at $85.16 and cancelled it after 2 days. I got supposedly a $50 early cancellation fee which I was not aware of or told and still Safeco wants $24 more for 2 days of coverage and won’t apply my pre-payment and have called repeatedly for a supervisor to talk about where the $85.16 went and why I’m being charged $100 for Teo days of coverage. No supervisor has ever called me back and they refuse to explain how they took my $ and can’t justify it. Not a good business practice or very good customer service company to work with. I went with another insurance company and I suggest you do too. They’re under the liberty mutual umbrella company. Peace

I paid upfront insurance for an year. After one year I found that agent screwed up lot of documentation work and he was fired. I received a letter from safeco that I owe around 2000$ . I dont owe anything. Safeco has changed policy without my consent nor with agent consent. My credit was affected for not my mistake and this is effecting my lively hood. Can I sue Safeco for negligent and fraud.

On August 4th I noticed my 2007 Mercades had a dent on the front end, with a cracked headlight & grille- I took it in to Munro Collision where I received an Estimate for $7K roughly- a few days later, the adjuster assigned Sarah with the investigation department, she called and asked permission to record my conversation. Right there immediately, it showed discrimination- Why was an investigator assigned to my case? I have never been held in the postion before. Why do we pay for insurance? and when a claim gets filed, usually it gets properly handled- This is by no means a threat, yet, a Promise, that I am ready to hire my lawyer to help me fight this claim and to sue SafeCo for $1,000.000 dollars- In Lieu of SafeCo they immediately cancelled my policy which showed it lapses on September 16th- as of today, I received a policy disregarding the Lapsed Coverage- so it is evident that Safeco is in deed discriminating against my family and I- We demand answers and we demand that Safeco cuts the check so my car can get fixed- Safeco and its affilates with Liberty Mutual have 7 days (not business days) counting the weekend as well, to respond to this complaint & remedy the situation otherwise I will file Suit on the 7th day- We will go to Court and exercise the damages caused by [protected]@libertymutual.comintory & as well as fixing my car

Service misrepresentation
We contacted SafeCo in Aug. as our roof was leaking. We have had severe storms lately. They were quick to send an adjuster, who agreed that our roof needed to be replaced. The SafeCo agent responded to us quickly as well, telling us that SafeCo will replace the shingles on my roof, but will not fix the leak as we can not prove the leak was caused by hail. They also will not fix the ceiling which is severely damaged from the leaking as the agent claims it is merely cosmetic, even though it is actually raining in my kitchen. The ceiling is being held up by just the paint. And it is still raining in my city, with more to come. We had to deal with an agent with MadSky, an agent with SafeCo, an agent with Liberty Mutual, the contractors, our local agent, and nothing has been resolved as the SafeCo agent refuses to acknowledge the leak. He says that they will only cover hail damage?! I have been paying SafeCo for 10 years and this is our first claim. I am so angry that we have to go through all of this and my roof is still not fixed!
Desired outcome: I would like my entire roof repaired to stop the leak so that I can get on with my life!
Homeowners Insurance
I was told in writing on 6/3/22 that I was covered for "drying and rebuild of flooring/drywall. Then on 9/6/22 we were told we were not covered at all. We feel completely lied to and misrepresented. We would have gone about the restoration completely different if there was a chance we were not covered. At no point was there communication between 6/3-9/6 that there was any possibility of us not being covered. This needs to be resolved very soon. We also filed a complaint with the State of Colorado Division of Insurance and will be getting attorneys involved.
Desired outcome: We are willing to pay our $1,000 deductible and should be covered for the rest as that is what we were told in writing. Writing email is attached.
