Unauthorized credit card charges
I signed up to pay $39.95 but $406.80 was removed from my account! I want this returned and my membership cancelled. I joined via online on the 25th April and agreed to pay the above amount however as photo shows the following amount was removed from my account.
Same thing happened to me I am shocked they took $384.00.😥😡
Refusal to cancel membership
I contacted Singles50 by email, as I don't have access to fax, on 10/12/19 to request the cancellation of my membership to their dating site. I recently discovered that since then, the amounts of $299.40 has been removed from my account on 30/3/2020, 30/9/2020 and 30/3/2021 without my consent. I expect the sum of $898.20 to be reimbursed into my account promptly.

Unauthorized credit card charges. Cancellation of membership
18 Feb 2021 - credit card charges $362.99 unauthorized charges to my credit card account without any knowledge that it was due. I just want my subscription cancelled immediately and money returned asap .
I hope you can resolve this quickly.
Please assist me urgently. I see a lot of similar complaints. If this site is indeed making it impossible to cancel and deducting money arbitrarily from our accounts VISA and MASTERCARD should stop servicing this company.

I joined this singles 50 and cancelled my premium membership but said i needed to fax before i could cancel it. i do not have access to a fax machine and have been charged $102.91 recently much to my disgust. Please give me back my money.

This involves Singles50 of Belgium, French speaking site.
I cancelled the service in August 2020 - I am now being HARASSED with requests for payment for another six months! I have emailed them numerous times. No reply!

I have told them that I have all the correspondence to prove that cancellation was requested. They had tried to receive payment for a further six months via PayPal but the relevant credit card had expired so they could not steal my money. I have informed PayPal of the dispute.

I would like to cancel my premium membership and am trying to give the required 2 weeks notice but can not find the cancellation button on the application. The contract says that the initial one month special is one contract and then thereafter the contract will renew as a separate contract with a much higher premium. i sent a normal physical letter in september asking my membership to be cancelled completely as i am almost bankrupt. Now i have received an email asking for fees for renewal.

My name is Doina RADU from Ro. I signed up for a membership with singles 50. It took no time to realise it was a dodgy site. There were many photos of 30 year olds professing to be 60 years old.
I tried to cancel my membership, but the only way to do that was to send a signed fax. Although I tried several times (and finding a fax machine was not easy), there was never any success. Every fax I sent was flagged as unsuccessful. After numerous attempts, I was forced to cancel my card, so as not to be scammed again.
And today, I received an email from singles 50 credit management, threatening to take. Legal action against me because they were unsuccessful in taking another payment.
This is a site that I would advise people to avoid. There is no duty of care. At best it is reprehensible, and at worst it is illegal.

I bought a membership with Singles50 on 03/10 (debited out of my account on 04/10 in the sum of $11.92 followed by a further $61.64 on 3/11/2020 and another 65.94 on today 4/12. Dating site - extra money taken from my account
On 23 Oct I ordered the R199 for a 1-month service on Singles50.co.za
I received confirmation: 1 month Single payment: R 199. When I accepted, an unauthorized R796 was deducted from my account! This is totally illegal and a scam.
I immediately stopped my Bank card to prevent further deductions. Then Googled about Singles50 and numerous people have experienced the same issue!
The Fax number Singles50 gives for "cancellation" does not work! It is just a cop-out from Singles50 so that one cannot cancel.
When I try to cancel my subscription, the Singles50 website says: "You can not access your subscription settings yet. This function will be available when we have finished processing your payment. This can take up to a few days." It is now 3 days later so how long can it take? And, Singles50 has already pocketed my R199 PLUS (unauthorized) R597!
I expect a refund of R597 from Singles50 as I only agreed to a deduction of R199, but highly doubt this would ever happen - no need to elaborate.
So, I emailed Singles50 to request immediate cancellation of membership. Still waiting for a response.

There is absolutely nowhere to cancel this membership. I've sent 2 emails To the company and it comes back. I've gone into the app to deactivate and they say I must cancel in my profile settings but there is nowhere to cancel in settings. One of their websites says to cancel with Apple store but they don't reflect there. After reading the reviews I couldn't understand why no one ever responds in terms of dating. There is something up with this site...

I have used four dating sites over the last ten years to meet men, all four have good and bad qualities (scammers). Singles 50 has by far the highest number of individuals with fake profiles, multiple profiles, individuals you block that are not actually being blocked.
I did not pay for a three month subscription to encounter a large portion of my matches to be individuals with eye description "black", or home town "cheney". It's apparent singles 50 does not have a department reviewing member's authenticity..
1. Members with multiple accounts using different names, cities, etc with the same photos are a constant envision of my time and money spent.
2.. Blocking a user is pointless... 20 minutes later then same individual sends a message or comes up as a match.
If singles 50 put more effort into protecting my account from scammers, rather then my photo the site might get one out of five stars!
Contacting singles 50 is almost impossible, the site does not have information with their active email address, [protected]@ is returned as not existing. I say almost impossible to contact simply because I haven't stopped trying.
Case in point: I want a full refund.

The offer to sign up to this site was for r99 per month for 3 months, however I was charged r1188.00 immediately. This is not what was advertised and certainly not what I can afford to pay for a dating site. I urgently need my membership cancelled and my money refunded.
