Eye exam and payment made on 12-19-20, we were able to get 1st pair on 1-4-21, we have been back to the store on 1-6-21, 1-13-21, 1-16-21, try calling your number of [protected] only to be told we have one pair ready to be picked up We were told on the 13th that the glasses had been sent back to lab, something not right, of the 4 employees that work there...

I came in on Thursday, 12/17/20. All was fine, and Covid-19 safety protocols were acknowledged. The original date for my two pair of glasses to be ready was Thursday, 12/31/20. There was delay, with a new date of Thursday, 1/7/21. This was not a problem, considering everything that was occurring with Covid-19 and the holidays. Again, this was not a problem...

Stanton Optical Eye glasses

Both my wife and myself ordered two pair of glasses, my wife picked out two frames and there were no issues. I picked out 1 new frame and asked that they use my old frame for one pair. When we were notified that they were ready except only one was ready for me, there was a delay with the frame I supplied and was ready two weeks later.
When I picked them up I noticed they seemed different. I left to try them out for a few days when I noticed that the frame maker on the side of the arm was a Stanton ID and the color was black not dark copper as were the frame I supplied, also the black paint on the frame was peeling off. I returned to the store and spoke with 3 different employees and the first two had the store head come out and she showed me a form with Stanton part no. is what she said I picked out. When I said I never picked out but 1 frame and I said I wanted my old frames the first two employees quickly left the area and the woman I had been speaking made me feel as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I got angry and disappointed at such bad service and switching a good frame for a paint peeling cheap frame. I left.
I (should have stayed with Lenscrafters which is where I'll go.
I hope Kayla got a good price for my frame and the two other loser may one day regret protecting her, scamming customer does not get repeat business.

I went there in Nampa, Idaho on april 10th.Ihad a 1145 appointment for my exam but, was not seen until 145 and, then was told nothing what so ever about the three pre test they do on your eyes.The lady said nothing at all.like all looks good no real eye issues for you.Then I sat down again and, waited and, was then put in a room and, a on screen Dr came on and, checked my eye vision.I was not happy about this at all was not like any other eye exam I had ever had.She just clicked through several letters on each eye asking what one was clear and.she did it kinda fast and, I really do not think that they got it right, my straight vision does not seem to be as claer as it should and, they got my noline to high.I have to keep lowering my head and, I should not have to do this and, I asked the lady at the time when she mark the lens if she was not getting it to high and, she said oh no.then I go to pick them up on april 27th and, there were at least 5 people waiting for a person to wait on them.there was one girl working on the floor and, she was helping a guy ordering his glasses.I and, the others walked around for several minutes and, no one helped us.I said to this one couple.Is anyone working here today are they all out to lunch.After loudly saying this a couple ladies came out and, started helping us.The lady that waited on me.She got my glasses.I put them on and, looked around things were a little blury but, I thought well its been a long time for me wearing glasses so I guess I just got to adjust.She didnt check the fit on my frame at all.So anyway folks I am not the least bit impressed with stanton optical and, will not go back there again.

I booked an appointed online. I have been waiting for 45 minutes. Why? It's obvious they double booked. Come on, that's low class. People first, money second! I keep to my appointments. Stanton Optical Warranty

Scratched a lens on my three month old glasses. When I tried to take advantage of the warranty, I was told I would only have to pay 20% of cost. I was told the full cost of replacing BOTH lenses was $407.00. She then told me, my portion would be $127.50. I asked how 20% of $407.00 came out to $127.50, and she turned the monitor my way and said, "Because, that's what it says, here". I told her that 20% was $81.40! I asked why I had to replace both lenses, when only one was scratched, and was told they HAD to replace the other undamaged one, too, because, they come in pairs! Ridiculous. I will not use them, in the future.

Stanton Optical Bait and switch sell

Terrible horrible customer service. They will bait and switch you. I leave a zero for stanton optical. *beware* they will lie and cheat you. Read all the other 1 star reviews. Stanton optical should not even be in buisness.Beware... Do not buy anything from stanton optical. They are the most crooked place i have ever dealt with. Stanton Optical service

Optical Peoria Illinois on GLEN Avenue went in for an eye exam in August buy a position over the Internet who had missed prescribe my glasses went back in two weeks after I exam to pick up glasses wore them for a few weeks and was getting headache took them back inAnd was told by a service rep name Owen that he could have them back to me in a week and a half a week and a half came I called in to see if they were ready and was told that no one knew anything about my glasses I called back again to days later and was told that the sales man oh and was on lunch break I waited an hour call backAnd was told he was still on lunchBreak at two hour lunch break and they left a message on his desk He never return my call so I stop by the office in Peoria 2 1/2 weeks later and was told that they are just now in the cutting phase and no one had gotten my message and I had to wait another week so far I've been waiting 4 weeks or a para glasses that should've only took less than that time I suggest you get real live human being in the office to do correct I exam instead of over a telecommunication prop not happy with the service at all and most likely when I do get my glasses back I will not be returning to stay at an optical or any future eyeglass need nor will my family and anybody else that I speak with very disgusted and disappointed in the service and how I was treated

Stanton Optical eye glasses/exam

Hello,
I wanted to see what can be done for me. First off I want to say that the employees who assisted me were kind and helpful, but I have not had a positive experience. I took an eye test, got a prescription, waited for glasses to arrive, then began wearing them to see if it would help my vision. I was scared to drive as it blurred my vision so bad... So, they allowed me to come back and take another eye test (this time with a real person, in person and not a glitching screen with someone who had a thick accent... Very uncomfortable and frustrating to say the least!). So, after the 2nd eye test it was a completely different prescription! No wonder I couldnt see, right? Well. Then I had to wait another 2 weeks for my new prescription to arrive... Back to trying to adjust to wearing glasses and this time around, its better, but still not improving anything for me. The whole reason I even went into stanton optical is because dmv sent me a notice that I am required to pass an eye exam this year in order to renew my drivers licensee. Oh boy was I so nervous! I have a really bad left eye and at this point, just think that it is damaged and may require lasik. I went to the dmv this week on tuesday and failed my eye test : (I am devastated and really pissed off to be honest. I do not know what you can do for me but I spent nearly $500 and the glasses are useless to me. Please get back to me with a possible resolution... I am lost and super upset.

I really thank you for your time in reading my entire stressful situation.

Stanton Optical eye glasses

DO NOT step foot in this place! What a joke! Went in for exam to try and improve my far away eye sight. After being told by the Doctor that he could tweet my vision, I believed him. Over three months later, $425, two exams and glasses made three times, I now have glasses and sunglasses I cannot see out of clearly! I now have the same prescription I originally walked in with! They denied a refund and never did anything they said they would do. I heard every excuse in the book. Never returned calls when they said they would. I have worn glasses for thirty years and have NEVER had this experience ! They do not even fit the glasses to you. They hand them to you in a bag! They are only out for your money! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
