Temu review: Poor customer service and no sense at all of any responsibility

I ordered a number of items from Temu as one package. Few days later I did another and few days after that I did another.

I was monitoring the tracking and it hadn’t shifted for days and so I thought something may be up. When you try asking anyone through the app - it feels like you’re only talking to a bot. The conversation is robotic and they talk in superficial language. What I mean by this is they will cut and paste lines they have prepared or been prepared before so you get the same responses.

I spoke with them and they told me

If my order didn’t turn up they’d give me a £5? And if it didn’t turn up for a week they’d refund my order.

On the day of the delivery,

I was out and left a sign on my door to give the parcel my neighbour at number 4.

I have two very large dogs so the postman/delivery guy probably gets a litte nervous whenever having to come my home.

I received a text and email stating all my three parcels had arrived at my address and a photo showing it had been left at the top of the drive. (Just one)

I rushed home to get my delivery but I got home it was not there. I checked with number four and nothing had been given her. I checked the drive, bins and around the edgings but nothing was to be seen. I have asked all the neighbours in my street if they’d took it in and if not if they’d seen anything. No one had and my neighbours are usually good.

I have then photographed all the outside of the property and sent it Temu.

I explain the above and get referred by ticket to ‘Jessica’.

When Jessica sends you a message about the above she’s basically saying we done our part once it leaves here we have no obligations or responsibility.

I try to explain in more details

But you still just get generic responses - there isn’t any actual

Customer service and one would think it’s all bots!?

I’ve asked to speak to supervisors and managers and they say they don’t have that faculty but they will take your earned credit and expect you to cut your losses?

It really feels like once they send it out they feel they have no responsibility where that parcel ends up.

I’m three parcels down which I think has been put in one order or bag and then left outside the property. When I’ve came home that package ain’t there and Temu will not refund or replace the missing items but will take your credits and cash.

Whenever you speak to them they will give you superficial promises and false hope that they will sort this out - but they don’t!

They produce a ticket and that goes to Jessica who then does a

Block ship out of generic responses stating they sent it and it’s been left outside the property and so they feel they have no responsibility whatsoever as that’s their part.

I then feel ignored or that they don’t even read what you’re saying as they tell you to do everything you’ve already done and then they say ‘sorry can’t give replacements or refunds?’

I’ve explained to them this isn’t customer service and how can you take my payment without making sure it’s in my possession?

Same generic response and kept going on like that.

No Matter how much I articulated what - I’d still the same response.

So I asked to speak to a manager

No facilities to do so?

I was told this would be sorted and two days later bam! Same

Crappy response.

I’m tired of all this nonsense and been given a wild goose chase.

They clearly don’t respect or value their customers as they fail to give my complaint any feedback than what from the same block generic responses.

If you speak to someone they say how valued you are and that they will sort it out in the best interests of you but then don’t?

It’s superficial nonsense used to manipulate you into giving up.

I told them I would look at Trading standards to report them and if they had a shop I wouldn’t leave until I was heard, felt respected and got the things I had paid for.

Again same crappy responses

They won’t refund or replace my

Goods and expect me to be happy by receiving a photo of a parcel outside my drive!
