United States Postal Service [USPS] this has to be the worst post office in the country by far

This has to be the WORST Post Office in the country by far - Sandy Creek in El Paso, Texas!

Constant problems at this place and an ATTITUDE from the staff. Then you escalate something and it goes to this Margie person, what an awful "I could care less about you" attitude!

Margie is constantly rude and we constantly have mail problems. Her response, "you can spend more and ship through another service", what a rotten attitude she displays!

Because of her and this post office in general, we no longer ship packages through USPS if and when we can avoid it! We also go online and leave every negative testimonial possible on USPS as a result! I shipped something priority mail and there was a problem. Margie's response was that I used "Click n Ship" so I should take it up with them and leave her alone. She went on to comment that they don't even get credit for those shipments they handle that go outbound from her place.

We've had enough of the attitude from this post office and Margie to be specific. Now it's just more satisfying to spread the word about how they treat their customers and we'll use a more professional service anytime we can. No wonder USPS is going bankrupt, it's because of employees like the ones at Sandy Creek that couldn't care less about anything!

My aunt has asked for a supervisor and waited for over an hour. The clerk says sorry, we just ring the bell and they show up if they want to. WHAT A DISGRACE TO HAVE A POST OFFICE AS THIS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.

Hope fully they go bankrupt and see how it is to find another job. Maybe then they'll appreciate the job they have now. And for heavens sake, LOSE THE ROTTEN ATTITUDE, we are your customers for goodness sake!

Constant issues with our mail at the El Paso Sandy Creek Post Office.

Ask people who go here because it's the only post office in the area. We try to drive further to get to any other post office when we have time. The clerk said if you don't like the attitude then you can always ship somewhere else, NOW WE DO, THANK YOU!

I have never been treated so badly as I have by this post office. The staff is just rude with attitude at this place. We've never been able to get them to answer their phone either!

No More! UPS and FedEx will have my future business, lose your attitude or you won't have any customers which equals no business which equals no job!

United States Postal Service [USPS] holding my mail instead of delivering it

I live in a condo and have a small centrally located locked mail box that the postman usually delivers to but if a couple of days go by and he has stuffed it full of junk mail he takes all of my mail out and places a stop delivery form (unsigned by me) in the box stating to pick all of my taken mail at the post office. If I am away for the weekend all the store flyers stuff it up, so it seems.

This is not the first time he has done this. When I call no one can tell me who did it or why. If i speak to the manager & drive over there to speak to him in person magically he has disappeared. I have asked for them not to put the junk mail in if it is too much but they refuse.
I told them not to take the mail that is in the box out because I feel it is theft...just hold the junk that doesn't fit I get no where...is this legal?

United States Postal Service [USPS] losing and misdelivering mail

This is the Nth. time I complaining about misdelivering or losing mail to the USPS.
USPS lost the bank replacement card that I was expecting and now that I need it I have to wait till the bank replaces it with another one.
On top of that, the new card comes with a new number which implies that I'll have to change creditors who get pay directly.
This is a total rip off, lack of responsibility and criminal action. I'm sick and tired of complaining to the USPS and they have the nerve to say "sorry" and that they will take care next time. Is there anybody who can do anything about it?

United States Postal Service [USPS] mail lost or stolen in the post office

My mail from ebay with tracking, sent priority mail was out for delivery and never received and neither was tracking information updated. Went to the post office, someone was complaining about there package being not delivered earlier than mine. I went to the post office, called the supervisor every day, seven days no package, no answer, the supervisor told me they still have fifteen days to find it!

Spoke to the station manager, he is looking into, no package, reported it to USPS customer service, they never called me back either within the two business day window. Sent a message to the US Postmaster General, Bronx Postermaster, US Postmaster Inspector General and reported fraud, and Consumer affairs. I will not stop until I get my package! The news is next!

United States Postal Service [USPS] mail not being delivered

We are two residences that are a half block off route and whenever our regular mailman is out we do not recieve our mail. I called today and talked to the postmaster (James) twice and he guaranteed me he would talk to the carrier when they returned to find out why the mail was not delivered and would call me back between 4:30 and 5:00 p, m, and he did not call! I called the post office at 5:05p.m. and talked to supervisor Richard and he gave the phone to supervisor Les. Les said that all the carriers had gone home for the day and after a long discussion he told me to call postmaster James in the morning. I told him that I was going to complain and contact the postmaster general. He said that would be a good thing to do and to also contact postmaster James and confront him as to why he didn't follow through with his promise. This is not the only time this has happened. It has been several times that I have not recieved my mail. It is my understanding that it is a federal law that everyone's mail must be delivered but this is not happening here in Hemet, CA. Please follow through with this complaint and contact me at [protected] and ask for Becky. Thank You Very Much.

we have a neighbor at 41725 El Camino drive who is parking his green mustang in front of our other neighbors mailbox at 41717 ElCamino drive on purpose. For 3 days, he has blocked her mail box and it seems like the post office does not care. we have continuously asked for their help and nothing has been done. we have video of this racist guy sticking things on her mailbox she has told him to stay away from her mailbox and he will not. he has tampered with mailboxes and we have pictures of him going in peoples mailbox and still nothing was done. It is a shame no one her in this little cul-da-sac gets alone with him, only one neighbor tolerates his ignorance but he does not hang out with him. we need help before someone gets hurts .

the neighbors are fed up with this annoying neighbor and his racist mess alone with his foul mouth wife. We have went to the post office several times about this matter and we are disappointed in the post office that they have let this guy continue to get away with going in peoples mailbox and nailing items on the mailbox. we are route 39 here in Hemet calif and our main post office is on Acacia.

This is a huge problem and I just can't believe the post office will not do anything what poor service we call and the line is busy, or we call and the phone just rings.

United States Postal Service [USPS] mailbox lock has been broken for over 1 month now

Mailbox lock has been broken for over 1 month now. Entire street has been using to pick up mail at post office entire time. Asked postal service workers many times about when mailbox will be fixed. No helpful answers have been received. Stated, "a work order has been put in, but we can't say when it will be fixed". Gas and time have been wasted by consumers to pick up mail almost 20 minutes away for this long. Also have not been getting weekly ads all these weeks.

United States Postal Service [USPS] delivery

I am a student and had a financial aid check coming, I was waiting on my front steps when the mail man drove up delivered the mail to the other three units on my lot and walked toward me he had my check in his hand (I could tell because it’s a very distinctive tare way envelope which all the financial aid checks are mailed). He said no mail for you and just put it back in his jeep; Two weeks later and still no check and it was mailed on the 5th first class from about half a mile away. The closest sorting center is less than ten miles. I have had it reissued and tracked down my last three addresses it hasn’t shown up at those places ether. Looks like he just felt like messing around and round filed it…you hear about it all the time.

OMG that really sucks. Mailmen/carriers actually do that to people's mail? I know they are slow (snail mail), but sheesh. That's horrible. I hope you finally do get your check, you are dependent on that for school.

United States Postal Service [USPS] irresponsible mail delivery

On this occasion my mail was delivered to a completely different street while one of my neighbors mail was delivered to me. We are a small town (1 square mile) with a local Post Office that continually makes delivery errors. One would think any job worth having is worth doing right - in the village of Greene that is not the case - I just answered my door to find a stranger delivering me my mail on a Sunday because the government paid employee that is supposed to do the job didn't.

Once I use up my physical postage stamps on small packages, USPS will never ever have my service. Last year I did over 6k of service with them. So far this year I've cut back at least 50 percent. Next year I will be gone. Goodbye USPS, and GOOD RIDDENS!

I made a purchase on Amazon on the November 9, 2013. I was told that I would receive my order in three days.
FedEx took the order and it was place over to the US Postal service. FedEx told me to contact you concerning this matter.
This man stated that he made a delivery and yet he did not leave a slip stating that he tried to make a delivery.
The US postman stated that he made an attempt on Friday the 15th and knock on the door.
Men were out raking leaves and said that the US Postman went to the church door and got back in his vehicle.
This postman did not leave my today mail in the mailbox either nothing was left not even a statement that there was a box..
US postman stated that he tried back again at 6:44. This postman must have not known that we have church on Friday night at 7:00 and we are in the church at 6:30pm turning on the heat, another lie.
Then he states that he returned on Saturday 16th at 11:am. I was at the church at 11:am
and the people that clean the church was there at 10:30am When I arrived at 10:55 I looked in the mailbox and there was not
mail in the box. I was looking for Friday mail which I did not receive at all!. I had my car on the parking lot and the cleaning lady car was on the parking lot and two vehicles of the men that were working for the day finishing raking the leaves. All these vehicle and this
mailman never knock on the door. I went out to look in the mailbox a 12:00 noon and there was mail. I have a sign on the church doors stating if no one is available please leave mail at Kim's 9909 next door. That has been on our door for over twenty years. Who are these people. If they say that there was no sign on the door. We can prove this easy with a picture that was taken the first of the year when we paid off our church and we are out front of the church door with the members burning out mortgage. The location of our church is Jesus Saves Lighthouse Church-9901 E. 38th St. Indianapolis, IN [protected]

United States Postal Service [USPS] express mail

I'm appalled that I paid $18.30 to deliver a mail through Express Mail. I mailed it on Dec.
27, 2011. It was guaranteed to be delivered on Dec. 30, 2011. Instead, It was delivered on Jan. 03, 2012. This is a whole week! I could have paid regular mail and certified it and get there at the same amount of time. I would like my money refunded for a service not delivered.

United States Postal Service [USPS] package lost/stolen by employee

Post office attempted delivery and slip was left to pick up at post office. After 3 times of going to the post office they still could not locate my package that was sent via Amazon. Funny thing is a girl in front of me the first time was complaining of the same thing and held up the line for about 40 mins because they only had one person working the pick up window. Filed a case thru USPS phone # and nothing. Was told at post office to leave a copy of my attempted delivery slip and phone number and a supervisor would call and nothing. Third time I went back USPS told me that the manager was too busy to speak to me. Called USPS again at 800 number and they told me I have to deal with local post office or call consumer affairs. I told them I was given a case num and they said that's for the local office, then I explained well the local office doesn't help. Finally called local office and the lady told me to file a claim since they assume my package is stolen or lost. I went online to file a claim and it says my article number which is on the USPS slip is incorrect..ughhhh.. Contacted amazon.com and they are useless with their automatically generated email responses to your legitimate time consuming sent emails. I call Amazon and their rep tells me they will credit me and it will take two more weeks to get the credit.. So after all this between amazon and USPS I have no package or item one month later all for a ten dollar purchase.. Needless to say I can't use my laptop because the cord is what my purchase was after my friends dog chewed it. Customer service is no service.. Now I am at square one minus $10 and a laptop cord.

United States Postal Service [USPS] I am so traumatized I will never use them to ship packages or receive them either

I had an Express Parcel Package that was to be delivered to my door step on Oct. 26, 2010. The parcel was sent to the wrong post office who in turn physically returned it to the mail man who brought in the express mail. It was scanned as missent on that date and it's status hasn't changed yet. Here it is Nov. 1, 2010. i called all the numbers and filed a complaint and Io still havent heard from anyone yet. The mail personal from my zip code and the one that my parcel went to have been very helpful. I am really upset, I paid for the package to arrive on time and yet the 1-800 customer service people are rude and just keep dismissing my concern for a package that is still sitting in the city of Atlanta allegedly for a week now. All I want is for someone to contact me and find my package! I spent over 500.00 for the items in this package. Will I ever receive it and or my money? I am so traumatized I will never use them to ship packages or receive them either, and I do all my business via mail.

Over the Christmas holiday my husband & I moved. We packed our things and mailed most of our belongings using the United States Postal Service. We were careful to insure the items but one box was sent by mistake without insurance on Dec. 13th. Not knowing what box had been mailed we carried on with our move taking full pride in our choice of mail service thinking our package would arrive safely.

Our husband and I unpacked and I realized our personal information, tax return files, bank statements, college text books, and marital counseling materials were missing. I questioned myself. Had it been the box that was mailed in error? I had just hoped the box was in the house somewhere waiting to be unpacked.

Terror struck in January when we received a USPS envelope with no return address with just our IRS tax returns enclosed and no contact information. Our bank statements, text books and counseling material remain missing. I was reassured by a postal representative our bank statements would be shredded if they were damaged. I'd like to see the damaged items! I am upset we spent large quantities of money in shipping through their company and they haven't given us a letter or a follow up phone call. The only lead we have is our belongings have been sent to a giant warehouse in Atlanta Georgia. I've also been told even after the attempts to claim our stuff it is property of the USPS.

United States Postal Service [USPS] lazy incompetent carrier

Today, (THIS IS THE 4TH TIME IN ONE WEEK) I came out of my front door & found an orange USPS ‘SORRY WE MISSED YOU’ claim ticket in my mailbox (no other mail just the ticket). I WAS HOME & Chris, the carrier has decided it is too much trouble (“doesn’t have time”) to RING THE DOORBELL OR place the package in my the alleyway or back yard. I have been at this address getting USPS mail/packages for the PAST 20 YEARS & THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. I HAVE COMPLAINED TO THE BROAD STREET (08610 area) SUPERVISOR BUT HIS LAZINESS CONTINUES! WE PAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THESE DELIVERIES & IT IS INTOLERABLE & INCONVENIENT TO HAVE TO KEEP GOING TO POST OFFICE FOR MAIL HE IS GETTING WELL PAID TO DELIVER! WHEN CONFRONTED (after chasing down his truck in the neighborhood) he abruptly states “I told you before; I don’t have time”. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT THIS!

United States Postal Service [USPS] I have not been receiving my mail for approx. 2 months that I am aware

I have not been receiving my mail for approx. 2 months that I am aware. I know this because the Utilitiy Companies, Nissan, Comcast, and my Cobra Company said they mailed me letters which I did not receive. Then numerous times finding my mail left in a hallway placed there by the other tenant in this house sometimes ten days past the post date and also finding mail in mailbox that did not belong to me I complained to the Post Office. My name is largely and clearly labeled on my mailbox yet this continues. After contacting the Post Office and speaking to 'Supervisors' about the matter, it was and is ignored. I was told I would recieve return phone calls and never received any. Today as I write this after calling the Post Office yet again because I see my mail standing up in another tenants mailbox I would like to make a formal complaint about this matter. This is very serious since I had my Cobra falsely canceled after not receiving the invoice and suffered much grief trying to get it reinstated explaining I did not receive the invoice and was not believed. Please warn this post office of the negligence involved and it is against the law to continue to not rectify the situation. This Post Office has also accused me of opening a package that I requested be returned to the sender. It was unopened and I would take a Polygraph if necessary. I returned it to the Post Office 3 times only to find it on my doorstep the next day accusing me of opening it. They left it sitting in the rain for 3 days after I called them and told them to pick it up. Sincerely,

Wait- postal workers working through lunch? Then how come my mail is never delivered- and when it is it goes into someone Else's mailbox? Or just as fun- I get someone else's mail. Perhaps lunch hour ought to be used for classes on Literacy.

I'm sure the Postal Service has regulations regarding breaks that has absolutely nothing to do with the state laws. Last I checked the USPS was a Federal Agency and would be governed under Federal law, not state. I'm just guessing here because that's how the AF does it. I wouldn't work for an agency that doesn't allow their employees who work more than 6 hours a day at least a 30 minute break. Do they have to wear diapers so they don't need a bathroom break?

As far as the Air Force is concerned, this is the regulation, whether you are in California, Nebraska, Georgia, or Texas, or any state really. I'm just trying to help the OP to grow a pair so he can get the lunch break he is entitled to every day he works 6 hours or more. :)

I'm not trying to be argumentative or cause any friction. I went out on our Federal Website and pulled the following from our work schedule regulation.

3.2. All full-time employees must take an unpaid meal period. The lunch period must be at
least 30 minutes and will have scheduled starting and stopping times.

That is what is required for DoD Employees. I work for the Dept of the Air Force. I imagine that all Depts. are different, but I don't reckon by much. We are not guided by state regulation in regards to meals.

I work for DoD and I know that we are required to be given at least a 30 minute lunch break each workday. Maybe it's different for each branch. I could quote the regulation but have no clue which one it is and don't feel like looking it up. Besides, it's lunch time and I gotta take my 30. :P

United States Postal Service [USPS] three lost packages in about a month has to be some all time record for one recipient

Since November 18, 2009 when three pairs of pointe shoes were shipped to me from San Francisco and never arrived, I am now also missing two major Christmas gifts. Assorted dining table placemats and bath products shipped from Pacific Palisades on December 7th and I never got this from my friend. Now my brother informs me that his Christmas gift-to-be (gourmet food) from David and Harry's also never arrived, although it too was ordered in advance. What these three missing packages have in common, is that they all came from CA, but different cities. However, I think the problem rests here with my local Post Office, Peter Stuyvesant on 14th St. Over the years they have lost two packages and delivered one gift 4 months after it was sent. Three lost packages in about a month has to be some all time record for one recipient. I will be busy filing phone reports on Monday but need to share this now. And would appreciate any help. In the future no one ships me anything without confirmation.

United States Postal Service [USPS] lies/poor service

The us postal service has decided to close our local post office. When they held thier "public survey to learn of local needs" they essentially told us that they were going to close the local post office because of financial issues.
This isn't right at all... We live in a rural area; 10+ miles from any other town. Now to add insult to injury, they have decided to lock up the access to the post office boxes at 4;40 pm daily even though they have been told repeatedly that many times customers do not get home before that time. This is stupid to the max. I see this as a massive us postal service move to force public opinion to urge changes to their needs to pre-pay employee benefits for 75 years; which was all part of the deal when the po became a quasi-governmental/private organization. The issue is money. The us postal service is not supposed to be able to close a post office for finacial reasons. Perhaps if there were fewer "fat cat" supervisors in the group there would be more funds for keeping the offices open.
Also, they talk about having the rural carrier service our town by using the group mail boxes. Due to the paranoia regarding terrorism you will have to go to a post office to ship any kind of package; or make sure you are at home when the carrier gets around to possibly stopping by your home... If he does. Another issue, most of the streets in our town are not plowed during the winter which means that the rural carrier will not deliver mail... Possibly for several days or weeks... Just not the right way to run this organization. Guess the po motto.."neither rain, nor wind, nor snow or dark of night shall prevent this carrier from completing his appointed rounds" just doesn't count if you can screw the public and get away with it.

All my boxes are to be held at post office for me to pick up at my post office, two days in a row 8/19/14 and 8/20/14 I came home to find boxes on my door. On 8/19/14 I was glad to get home before rain or box would have been soaked, today 8/20/14 this was not the case my box was so soaked but what was in box I got lucky wasn't wet the bill on out side of box was wet. Also the mail person is not closing my mail box at the street so when it rains all the mail in the box gets wet. And today is enough on wet mail in box. I know this isn't my normal mail person cause she doesn't do this, it has to be someone filling in for my normal carrier. I had my boxes held at office a year ago and still want this to happen because of people stealing things also I want to see my mail box closed from now on so my mail doesn't get wet. I live at 113 Jarrett Drive Calhoun, Georgia [protected]

United States Postal Service [USPS] unprofessional behavior

This is an ongoing thing, not one bad delivery or something like that. There just must be something in the water here, because it seems like both the UPS guy and the mailman who deliver to my office have it in for me. Our UPS delivery guy is really jovial and generally nice, but he is also completely unprofessional. He learned what my name is, and now he won't stop teasing me. I have to travel a fair amount for work, and whenever I come back from being out of town, the UPS guy just can't shut up about it. "Oh, you're actually working today, huh?!? Must be a special day if you're actually doing some work!" And he shouts it all over our tiny office. When my boss is sitting right there. It's just constant -- "Wow, you're actually in today, huh? I can't believe it! I can't believe you're actually working today!" In this really joke-y, sing-songy way. And all my boss knows is that the UPS is CONSTANTLY intimating that I'm absent from work a lot, or slacking off. Which, I'm not. I honestly can't believe that he still has a job acting this way; it's so presumptuous. We're not friends -- stop telling me boss that I'm slacking off at work. Words kind of fail me at how unprofessional he is, and I'm not quite sure what to do, short of following him outside and confronting him, which I'm not really wanting to do. The strange thing is, the mail man pulls this stuff on me, too. He learned my name, and now has to makes comments about me every day when he comes into the office. Last week, he made some crack comparing me to a troll living under a bridge. Now, I'm not a super model or anything; I'm just a normal looking person. And even if I weren't, why the hell would the mailman call me names? And it was just like that -- as if he was trying to be cruel and funny at the same time, as though he were still in high school. Just the weirdest, rudest, nonsensical stuff. As far as I know, I've done nothing to provoke either of them, but they zero in on me every time they come in. It's gotten to the point where I have an urge to hide under my desk whenever I see them through the window, but if I do, I know the UPS guy will make a big stink about how I'm not there. :( I shouldn't have to be afraid to sort the mail, you know? Sucks, and it makes no sense.
