package delivery
When I got home today there was a notice on my exterior building door that read, "package in garbage". And there was no package in my garbage can because the garbage man took all the garbage today so I can only assume they threw it out with the trash. I am infuriated with the continually poor service your company provides. Photo attached. Outraged! I expect an explanation and resolution of this issue immediately please. Sincerely, Eliza Beers
delivery driver
May 15, 2018 between 3:15 pm-3:30 PM
Truck Bed ID 255825 Truck Cab ID 121058
The driver lacked professionalism and courtesy. He stated he would only drop the pallet. I unloaded the pallet. He asked "are you going to put the pallet on the truck". He then left the empty pallet and shrink wrap in our walkway and refused to move it. We are a busy cardiologist office and so the pallet was left in the patient walkway. The driver refused to give me any identifying information and was very rude.
a product I ordered
I was waiting on a package from ups all day I was home and didn't leave I checked status it said incorrect address I called ups to inquire and they took information from me I checked the status on the website later and it said that it was returned to sender because the receiver didn't order it I wonder what address they went to because it was not my address I'm wondering who mandates the drivers when there in error
poor packing no fragile stickers to show glass contents damage easily, not enough bubble wrap and plastic peanuts
Dropped off a Coleman model 228F b"bug Hat " model to be packed and shipped. Turns out UPS packs and turns over and drops off package at local Post Office! I could have done that and saved $30.00 packing fee. Lantern arrived glass globe shartered and frame bent. Called Post Office a 2 HOUR wait on complaint! Total PITA no wonder PO going broke.Called UPS and they pretty much told me "no help" as problem is with the shipper USPS not UPS. Their liability does not cover damaged goods once it leaves their hands!
delivery driver
Or UPS delivery driver came to our door to deliver a document. It was about 7:20 PM Thursday May 10 . We were at home, the delivery driver neither knocked or ring the doorbell to let us know about the delivery of this document that needed to have a signature . I was alerted by one of my security video cameras on the front porch about this delivery I was alerted by one of my security video cameras on the front porch about this delivery.
Once again, on Saturday, May 12, according to my video the same driver dropped a package on the front porch without ringing the doorbell or knocking once again. And again, I had his picture on video.
Is it no longer UPS policy to either ring the doorbell or knock on someone's door to wake knowledge that there is indeed a delivery.
Perhaps one time, and that could be a mistake. Do it twice and a three day period, that's a pattern, and that's a problem.
tracking and delivery
I ordered marine life and paid $40 for ups next day air. It was supposed to arrive today (5/11/18). The tracking said this morning that due to operating conditions the package would be delayed. WTH? I'm sure the pkg is marked. Now it won't be delivered until Monday. Those sea creatures will be dead. You really need to tighten up your system. I called and was told it was in River City, Florida. But the tracking info says it made it to Jacksonville at 1am this morning. Jacksonville would be after River City so once again WTH? If I pay for next day air I expect it the next day not 4 days later. Especially when you have living things being delivered. Now they are slowly dying, probably a torturous death because of what you call an operating condition. This is unacceptable. I seriously can't believe this company operates like this. I sent the shipper a message of what's happening so I hope he calls and complains as well. Like I said this is totally unacceptable. And I will tell everyone I know not to use your sorry [censored] company. What is an operating condition anyway? Could never get a straight answer on that one. I'm so pissed at UPS right now yet terribly sad for the dying marine life you have in your possession when it should have been at my home TODAY...since I paid for the next day air service. Get your crap together UPS
And I wouldn’t even give you 1 star.
customer service representatives
1. You pay for a call center and you try to push self help. I get that some things can be solved by a quick Google but don't make it harder for everyone else to get a real person on the phone.
2. I chose to try the chat service because I couldn't make a phone call at that time. I waited for over an hour to do the chat support (as stated above I was unable to call so waiting was the least of my worries). Utterly useless. After giving them the tracking number I had to explain to the person the status of the package. They did not know the status and I had to walk them through each step that needed to be taken to fix the issue. On top of that they must be stretched thin because even simple responses took several minutes. I got a total of 5 responses which took 30 minutes. Yes 30 minutes for 5 responses. After wasting an hour and a half I was told that I would have to submit a claim which was infact not what needed to happen. Not even close.
3. Called the support number once I was free and after trying to navigate to a real person the correct way I gave up and just started smashing 0 over and over until I got to someone. I again explained the issue to the guy and his response was "contact the shipper" and hung up. No I did not get disconnected the dude seriously hung up. Again the answer given was incorrect.
4. I call back did the smash 0 trick spoke to a lady again had to explain what needed to happen and she was confused. I wasn't asking for anything complicated or over complicating anything. Rather than try to fix the issue she told me to send an email to support. Yes send an email to support while talking to support.
I get that some of this is in a place for a reason but it doesn't need to be this hard. I worked in logistics and my wife still does and what I needed to happen was very simple. I tired to let them do their jobs, then tried to help them do their job, and now I am going to have to do it when it is on you.
USPS is WAY WAY WAY better. I don't have issues with them often and if I do it is fixed quickly.
poor delivery performance
We received our delivery but the service was very poor. Here is info:
Tracking # 1Z3AE0120335510471
Delivered to: Jessie McNair ([protected]@aol.com)
3434 Waldrop Trail, Decatur, GA 30034
[protected]
Date: Today, Wed., May 9th about 6:30.
Two big boxes (chairs from Mainstays).
The driver did not ring the bell. My husband just happened to be in the kitchen, near front windows and heard a loud thump. He went to the door, made eye contact with driver (female) who said nothing and drove off.
One box was placed by the front door which was fine. Two tall trees blocks off that area from view. There was plenty of room for the 2nd box but that was just put in the walkway in clear view when there was plenty of room near the first box.
We don't drive so there was no car in driveway. I mention this because we figure driver thought no one was home. So she didn't ring bell and looked like a deer caught in headlights when my husband opened the door.
In summary, three complaints —
— Did not ring bell to determine if we were home.
— Left box in inappropriate spot. Could have been stolen.
— Unprofessional demeanor when 'caught out'.
I didn't think to take a picture. Not a big cell phone user so not top of mind. A reprimand of this driver would maybe correct her delivery method.
Thank you.
customer service people
Had to close a credit card issued by BofA due to fraud. Was told by BofA a new one would be delivered on a certain day, had a tracking number. Of course, never received my new card. This issue has been going on for more than 3 weeks now. Contacted UPS, was told it was refused by me, (never even saw the delivery person or signed anything) a LIE by UPS. Of course yanked back to sender, BofA and then yanked back toUPS and back and forth. The YANK game, no one taking responsibility and therefore never receiving my new card. I am finding today, I can't obtain answers or resolutions for issues. It can take days to even connect with the right person, going from one department to another. UPS is just another example of how no one knows anything and forget the customer service people, they are USELESS. I will say it again and again, all these huge entities are so large because of their customers, the platform from which the business was based on in the first place. If customers leave their enterprises may become obsolete. I am sure there are other people who feel the way I do and will look to other resources to do business with.
delay in delivery and damage of goods/property as well as customer service of delivery driver
I placed an order from S&S Active wear on 5/3/18, my order was scheduled for delivery on 5/4/18 and was stuck in Maspeth, NY, past the scheduled delivery date. After calling customer service several times over a 3 day period the package arrived on 5/8/18, the original label was torn off, the box was damaged and some of my items were dirty and damaged as well. This is unacceptable as I am running a business and have to produce these items to customers. The delivery driver arrived and was very rude and disrespectful and refused to deliver the package to my door. I live in a 4 story walk up and the driver claims that he doesn't have to bring the package to my door and I was forced to go downstairs to retrieved my package. This is unacceptable behavior and I am very disappointed in the customer service that I received from UPS with this transaction. I am attaching photos of the damaged box and my damaged property. I am requesting to be compensated for my items that were damaged and the unexplained delay, as this has caused me a loss in my business because I cannot produce the items to my customer that they ordered. The original tracking number on the package was 1Z777A9R0332675165 and the second tracking number given to the package was 1ZA82T890301914063. I would appreciate your timely response regarding this matter. As a loyal UPS customer who utilize your services for both business and personal reasons this has been my worst experience thus far. I appreciate your cooperation and understanding with rectifying this issue.
My name is A. Gordon and I can be reach via phone [protected] or email [protected]@aol.com.
drivers erratic driving
The UPS Driver that delivers at 89166 continues to speed through our development and run every stop sign. They are very dangerous flying around with children walking through our community. I understand that they have a job to do, but we all must follow the law. When will it stop when the run someone over. I will be filing a complaint with the police also
delivery
Our package was dropped off at the top of our long driveway, and could be seen from the street. Normally the driver brings packages to our door and we want to request that packages not be left at the street, where passersby can see them.
Delivery date was evening of 5/7 or morning of 5/8. Address 6207 Spicebrush Cove, Austin, TX, 78759. Tracking # 1Z [protected].
Thank you for your attention,

Dangerous Driver 5/4/18
Mitchell ln turning right onto windsor river rd
Scrawny man with long brown hair, hat, shirt w/ no sleeves.
I had seen him from down the road banging on his steering wheel & shaking his head, most likely to music. He was probably distracted, and definitely driving unsafely.
In a 35 mile area a driver screeched behind me onto windsor rd, cutting off cars behind me. It was 3:33 p.m., so children were getting out of school. I slowed at a cross walk with flashing lights for crossing children and he almost hit me. I tried to drive 35 miles per hour so he could take a hint to be safer, and he drove VERY close to my bumper. A little further down the road, I tried to slow down to park on the right side of the road, across from the high school and again, he didn't slow down!? He was speeding in a busy school section and almost hit me twice! I'd hate to let the incident pass and have him cause an accident later. PLEASE teach this driver how to drive safely!
Management
Wow. Wow. Wow. Unbelievable!
Lack of communication is an understatement. Unfortunately I moved and was unable to receive my shipment. I called in way beyond the shipping date, my bad, and my package was sent to the abandonment department, understandable. Sooooo...
UPS tells me I need to have the sender contact them to approve the package release, and so the sender calls UPS, sender calls me to say I need to pay UPS the brokerage fee first, no problem. I call UPS to pay the fee. UPS won't accept payment until the package release is cleared by the sender! {this must be a joke, get it together UPS} sender makes a call to UPS AGAIN and send me a follow up email to confirm. I call back UPS and go though the same hampster wheel again. This time I refuse to have the sender contact them yet again, in shame that UPS Canada is so disorganized. So I get put on hold, UPS comes back to say my package has been discarded, other then that I would have, at that point, been able to pay the Fee and pick up the package. At this point, I'm so frustrated, I'm almost relieved the package isn't there and I can move on... 3 hours later I get a message on myachine that a mistake has been made and my package is there! Well, I call back and surprise! they try to tell me the package is not there and the manager I demanded to speak to is too busy to take my call. I demand the Manager, I get the supervisor who also tells me the package is not there. I tell the supervisor to put me on hold, call the abondemt department and find out where the package is and when and where I can pick it up, and so he does! Then comes back and says my package is there and that the gentleman who called me was right, well yeah that is why I am calling! this actually happened and each call took 30 mins minimum! I'm amazed at how disorganized this company is!
ups driver verbally threatening someone/unethical behaviour
This morning, 5/4/18, I was on a morning jog and around 9:30 am, I witnessed a UPS driver screaming at a postal worker on USPS property. I didn't get a good look at the driver, but I seen him pull into the lot going pretty fast, and he started screaming at a postal worker that was loading mail into his USPS truck because he couldn't park in that exact spot. He then got out of the UPS truck and got in the postal service workers face. The USPS worker didn't do anything besides stand there and take this guy screaming at him. I feel the way he acted was completely unprofessional and quite frankly, it scared me. I couldn't imagine what that USPS worker was thinking. I did not get a truck number or the drivers details as I wasn't close enough to him. I feel as if this UPS driver should not be a carrier. He was verbally threatening another person that was simply doing their job. He's a threat to the public.
This event happened in Park Hills, Missouri, 63601 at approx. 0930 on May 4th, 2018
I would like to remain anonymous, as I'm worried the driver would have no issue tracking me down and trying to find me to take out the rest of his anger.
truck driver (semi) on i-85
On Thursday, May 3rd, a semi tractor-trailer driver for UPS was VERY rude & discourteous at a construction area on Interstate 85 at Exit 51 in Greenville, South Carolina. The Gateway Project at this exit is requiring traffic to merge to the left lane only, and your driver, even when I tried to pull ahead enough to look in the windshield to request allowance in front of his truck kept nosing his way to prevent me from merging. Trailer # 941584 with Indiana license plate P621687.
delivery of product
A item I ordered for a client's build I am doing was supposed to be delivered by 8am- 8pm April 30, 2018 the driver claimed that the address " does not exist" I have worked from and lived at this address for over 18 years and have packages sent to said address all the time, a night clerk changed the delivery address to someplace I haven't heard of, called Pam at the Lake Charles LA UPS office and she was supposed to fix the mix? Up and call me back which she didn't do. Called and talked to the lady working nights explained the situation to her and she stated that she would take the information to the night shift clerk. If I do not have the package by early AM in the morning I will not complete this build on time and I lose a several thousand dollar build... As well as a repeat client.
ongoing issue on our claim more than 6 months now
This nightmare is still going on as of this writing. We have 3 boxes shipped from the US going to UK. There were some issues on clearing the package with customs so they automatically returned the packages to the US. Problem started when they returned and delivered the packages to a completely wrong state! They tried to retrieve the package but their driver is saying that they're unable to contact the person residing on that address. After further investigation which took almost 3 weeks, they have decided that we can file a claim. It took a couple of weeks again to have the claim resolved and when they finally approved the claim they sent issued the check to a wrong person or company. Instead of issuing it to our shipping center's account in the US, they issued it to the one who returned it from the UK. It took a couple of weeks again for them to figure that out. They said they have to reopen another investigation before we can file another claim. It took weeks again before their investigation department forwarded the case to their claims dept. When they have issued the claim amount, they only paid us for 1 box! Instead of 3 boxes. We have disputed the amount and was told that it had already lapsed the time when we can file a claim. So the UPS rep of our shipping center said that he had escalated the issue to someone higher in their claims department and until now we still haven't heard back! Their service is the worst and they don't care! No one even bothered to offer any additional help even if it was all their fault why the packages were lost!
delivery
If you put out for delivery on the status then I expect you to follow through with that. This happens to me ALL the time. If I had the option of my vendors to ship my product by On-Trac my life would be easier. You can never TALK to anyone to find out the status, I know this is also a waste of time.. Tried of UPS...

unethical behavior
You have an employee named Rony Campos that works at the Morristown Branch as a fill in driver. He lied on his application about having a DUI and did not acquire the appropriate insurance afterwards, SR 22. If he has insurance now, he recently acquired it. He is a danger to citizens driving the delivery truck. His character is why people of Morristown laugh UPS for hiring him let alone drive the trucks. He has proven over the years that he is irresponsible and immature. He has abused the system and lied. Non one will do anything about him because he is quick to say he will file a grievance based on his race. There is not any proof, however based on his nightly activities, and instagram videos, there is a great possibility he goes to work under the influence.
I think a full investigation into his driving record, proof of insurance, and work record should be conducted and that he should not be allowed to operate a delivery truck until it has been completed.
You may ask why report now. It is because I became aware that he was driving and it puts citizens in danger. I also have been told by multiple employees that he abuses the system by claiming racism simply because of his immaturity and irresponsibility. Some of the people that know him that he has delivered to, has commented on how unprofessional he is by writing on the packages, packing slips, or not putting packages where they are suppose to be delivered. One family had ordered packages and he left them at the wrong door (which was specified) and their dogs destroyed the contents. I encouraged them to report.
