UPS drivers blocked the street to my house while they exchanged packages, At 3:47 on [protected], 116 Linda Lane, Athens Texas.
I came home after a 13 hour day at work. One UPS truck was facing south and the other was facing north. Thier doors were even with each other as they were side by side in the street, blocking the entire residential street. The drivers were not behind the wheel, but were exchanging packages. I waited not very long, because I have no idea how long these guys were gonna be, and my driveway was 150 ft away, but I could not get to it. I drive a pick up truck, I was lucky because I could jump the curbs and drive through my own front yard to get to my driveway. I parked and got out. The drivers did not even care, they acted as if I didn't even exist.
I said nothing, I made no rude gestures, I simply came in the house and called UPS to ask why? They could have parked on one side of the road and not blocked the street and allowed traffic to go by.
I complained and got a phone call back from the UPS center. The lady calmly explained to me that she had sp[oken to the drivers and they said they were in the process of pulling over to get out of my way.
REALLY? Nobody was even at the wheel!
They were exchanging packages in the middle of the street!
She gave ZERO apologies. Not even a hint that there was an error on UPS 's part. She backed the drivers 100%.
Which means I am a liar.
I hardly ever complain. I am the guy that will stand in line forever then checkout and be nice to the cashier, because everyone is looking at her like she is the problem when it is usually the customer that has forgot something or has coupons or wants to verify a check etc.
BUT HOW can 2 grown MEN block a street in the middle of the day and think it is okay?

I thanked the customer service center sarcastically for offering an apology and hung up. I then called back again to have a manager call me. I am still waitng for a return call this week from a manager.
I get packages delivered 6 or 7 times a month minimum.
I am NEVER using UPS again.
Fed ex has always seemed more professional, they actually pay thier drivers more than UPS, and it is evident.
I raised such a stink because just maybe the drivers that were rude, won't make someone elses day just a little more irratating with thier I don't care attitude.

Our company has been a ups customer for over 25 years. We have a daily pickup and pay their outrageous bill every month on time! This week I needed to make arrangements for a freight shipment of one skid from Philadelphia to Wisconsin to be picked up on Monday 9/21. I wasted an entire week of my life dealing with ups reps and being told that this is no problem, they gave me price quotes with a discount and it would cost $955.66 and they would help with any questions. Today I called to set up the time and ask a couple questions and was told the price is $2201 because we don't have a freight account. They knew that at the beginning of the week and even sent me an email welcoming us to ups freight. A manager was going to call me back but that never happened. I used another company and saved lots of money too.
suspicion of stolen parcel and pretending delivery attempt

A friend of our from Cayman Island has send us a gift in a parcel which got delivered by UPS on Monday 8th Sept 2015 but then was return to depot for non custom payment.
We were not supposed to pay anything for this delivery sent to us a s a gift
The deliver man didn't leave a card a proof of attempt delivery but left in a hurry without saying a word as to what to do next.
Later on both the sender as well as the receiver checked the stay of the parcel with a tracking number.
Just to discover a bunch of lies saved in the delivery history for this parcel.
It says for instance the recipient refused to pay for the parcel a second, third and fourth time.
Nobody has ever come back to our property as my wife was constantly at home waiting for the delivery
I was also hang up on the phone when I call customer service tonight prior to being told the parcel has been "abandoned" .
This is one of the most appalling service I have ever dealt with in my life and am absolutely disgusted with the dishonesty of the company.
I am taking this case further and in the meantime expecting full compensation to be made to the sender.
I will seek legal advice and I am determined to take this even further

Fellow South Africans, please beware of this dodgy courier service. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. UPS South Africa is extremely unprofessional in all regards.
I have never seen a company operate like UPS South Africa. They have no sense of urgency to rectify mistakes they make, even if it is at the cost of the client. Beware of UPS South Africa!
UPS South Africa has sent me an incorrect invoice for customs duty via email. Before they deliver, I had to pay the invoice via EFT. The driver arrived a couple days later with a much cheaper invoice and requested payment again. I checked and found they gave me the wrong invoice the first time round. I paid about R2000 more than what I should have. I phone UPS South Africa numerous times to try and resolve the problem. They made me feel like a criminal for requesting a refund on money they wrongfully took. The wrong payment was solely because of their incompetence. They were not even very apologetic for taking my money.
I was told there is no way they can refund immediately. I will have to wait 10 - 12 days. I told them I can’t wait so long. They should rectify it quicker. 16 days later I got another invoice from them, this reminded me that they NEVER even refunded me. I once again had to phone them to try and find out why they have not refunded my hard earned money they took from me because of their mistake. I still don't have my refund until today. I asked them to refund me as soon as possible as I need the money. They ignored my request and decided not to even pay in the 10 - 12 days it usually takes them to refund stolen money.
Just to make thing a little sweeter. When the delivery guy came to drop off the parcel I was about 5 min from home. I opened the gate to the complex via phone and quickly phoned UPS to ask them to please tell the courier I'm almost there. I was told they are NOT allowed to contact the courier for any reason. I explained that he won't even be able to get out the gate unless they get hold of him because he needs an access code. They simply refused very rudely and arrogantly. This is absolutely unacceptable. I complained about the fact that they are not refunding me as it's a lot of money. They response was bland and unhelpful. There is no matter of urgency to keep customers happy. If I don't keep following up I will just lose my money. I consider UPS South Africa a bunch of thief. Steer clear if you want great service. There are many courier companies in South Africa that are way better and much cheaper...

They are unethical and unhelpful. Senders pay top dollar fot faster delivery to the recipient and they still extort a disbursement and brokerage admin charge that is more than double the fee for govt vat. They don't know size or weight of item and the telephone wait times are over an hr with no answer.
I would not use their service and il tell everyone else not to either.one of worst businesses in RSA. I eoukd give them no stars if I could as this matter needs legal address as wehave no idea about their additional costs. They charge us twice or more to deliver same package and from negative hear we still don't get it tineously.
I booked international collection last week Thursday (10/02/2022), was told UPS will collect next day on Friday, they never collected, they never communicated with me, on the 14th February I took efforts to contact them and they told me they will collect on the 15th, they even send email as confirmation but they never collected when I send emails no reply, when I call they give me the number of other person who doesn't take calls, am so disappointed by UPS service a d the way they treat their customers, I so regret for opening an account with UPS, and want to close it will look for another company which takes its customers serious.

I am writing to request that UPS, too, bans the transport of any dead animals killed by hunters anywhere in the world, but especially big game and any other African animals. UPS is enabling and supporting this cruel and disgusting activity. I am an American living in Australia and send gifts to the US throughout the year. I have very loyally used UPS in the past, but I will boycott using their services and will tell others to do the same, until such time as they decide to do the right thing for these innocent animals and our environment. driver kicks dog in nbc video
A UPS driver kicked a small American Eskimo dog during a delivery to an alzheimer's home, caught on security camera on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, and released to the public by NBC. The dog Patch belongs to a worker at the home who came out with his dog to greet the driver. The driver kicked the dog and spun him around, then pushed and shoved the dog's owner who never touched the driver. I have owned two dogs of this breed, including my current American Eskimo rescue dog, and I am shocked and disgusted by this driver's behavior. We ask that UPS review this video and deal with their aggressive driver accordingly.
Unless u where actually there when this happened...I wouldn't b so quick to judge...would u want your son or daughter to be subject to any kind of aggressive behavior from an animal? He probably was protecting his owner but doesn't make it acceptable.
ups won't reimburse me for a lost package
So UPS left a package in front of my apt door, during leasing office hours, and it got stolen. So of course I processed a claim with UPS and it's been hell trying to get reimbursed. The first time I called to put a claim in the girl on the phone didn't even do, then the second time the closed out because they claimed they had proof of delivery. When I asked what proof they had they put me on hold and then re-opened the claim. Now they're saying the claim got closed again because they couldn't get in contact with me. Yet they keep telling me they'll be in contact with the shipper. So I asked for a supervisor who wasn't available and she gave a call back 5 hours later and told me she was closing the claim out. Which was lie! Now they're telling me it's going to take another 8 business days. This is ridiculous and unfair. They really are trying their hardest not to reimburse me.

I have asked about the pack and ship guarantee service for a while and checked with the packing price compared with FedEx. However, they have never asked me about this program isn't for the UPS Account number. I ended up paying $70 for packing my products to ship to my customer who is willing to pay for the shipment but their program seems shady in this store because they used my bubble wrap and charged me money for packing. I stopped them during the packing when I came back and I wanted to measure the part of my bubble wrap that have been used it because I just bought it from the store on Sunday for 3 medium rolls. They are running business unprofessional. They should know the program better than us. I feel manipulate and when I asked whether the declare value will effect with the shipping cost, one of the staff said No until I checked with the other guy. So, I ended up paying packing for $70 and stealing some of my bubble wrap without asking first. No pack and ship guarantee because their shipment price is more than the UPS service. If you have read some of reviews, you will see someone would mention at UPS retail store they charge more money than the real regular service, it is true from my research and talked to UPS representative on the phone. Don't go there. They don't care about you. Who will hire someone for packing that cost $70? We are just a small business. If we pay them like this, how we can live. No one will throw everything to the consumer by raising the product price. I don't know the other branch but so far I don't like the shrewsbury branch and westborough one as well. I think you should change the name of your store. You shouldn't use UPS name as they seem to be a good company and UPS delivery guys are awesome from what I've met them. They like to work and they are really nice. My hard working money $70 just bought my answer a long time ago why UPS delivery guys are totally different from the UPS(You should change the name) retail stores.
without attempting delivery effort
I have order one item from Amazon and Amazon confirm me the parcel will be delivered on June 17th, 2015. I have past experience of the delivery driver without attempting the delivery put the slip on the apartment entrance showing "customer not available" even though on parcel has Buzzer code and personal phone no printed. Looking to past experience I was waiting for the parcel since 4 o'clock at the apartment rental office which is located at the main entrance up to 6.15pm. I did not saw any delivery driver of UPS. Inside the office I can see the person who entered and also the on camera I can see the person enter or try to enter in the building. I didn't see any UPS driver try to come in the apartment and my phone call list also shows that nobody has attempted to contact me from the Buzzer. At 6.20pm one small boy playing in apartment who knock the my door and give the UPS delivery slip showing we missed you and collect the parcel from next day. My wife call me you are waiting at ground floor waiting for the delivery and one small unauthorized boy give me this slip. I immediately call the UPS office that driver had send this slip without came into premises send the slip with unauthorized person. After number of request the agent say I cannot help so I request to transfer call to supervisor she say I cannot help in this matter. After number of request he agrees me to transfer call to Manager and holding for 10 minutes she say manager is busy and I can't help you. I request can you locate the driver I can go and pick up the parcel but even though answer was say I can't help. I asked for the Delivery Driver ID and his name, supervisor not provide me detail and say somebody will call you tomorrow. Also I asked for the detail whom I have to contact and where I have to contact no information was provided. Actually this parcel was the birthday gift for my younger sister after wasting almost one hour and 10 minutes on the phone they are not arrange the delivery details.
This is very rude company this is happens all the time with me when I orders my book which is very important to me.
I personally recommend Boycott by not giving business to this company because we pay premium charges for confirm delivery.

When I used to live in an apartment, and was expecting a parcel delivery by courier, I would simply just call them and have them route it to the nearest pickup location. This is a much easier, and cheaper option for you than "I have also contacted one of lawyer in this matter with all proof of surveillance camera and my phone call detail as proof ."

Stay away when you see this man! His name is Kishan Seoparsan! When I tried to pick up my own package that he failed to deliver, he started cursing and threatening me! He said he would smash me and that he now knows where I live and I wouldn't get away! All I did was to call the office and complain about non-delivery of my own package!
rude employee
I went to this site and the lady that was working the front desk was completely rude. There was two other customers onsite that were busy filling out shipping forms. The lady working said she couldn't asist me because the other two customers were busy filling the shipping forms. During this whole time the lady was doing absolutely nothing for 7 minutes. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she refused to get a supervisor. This led to the point of her yelling at me and refusing to do anything. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting onsite I finally got a real manager to speak with me. He didn't seem to really care about anything and said he was going to review the employees behavior. Which I doubt he's going to do because he seemed disinterested. They also had my package just laying openly on a counter that could of been easily stolen by someone else. The package was supposed to be delivered to the customers site. I had to call UPS directly to speak with someone on why the part wasn't shipped to the site. No one could give us a proper answer because they made a mistake. I have to go to UPS all the time and not by choice. This is by far the worst UPS location I have ever been to. I also have never been treated so poorly by a company.
misdirected package
The sorting facility "MISDIRECTED" our package and it will now be delayed by 3 days. They are unwilling to get it to a local facility where I would be willing to go out of my way, at my expense, to pick it up. Very poor customer service - uncaring individuals.
This is exactly what I mean. They have gone down hill so bad and it is not right. They need to do better. Amazon has improved their deliveries so why can’t UPS. UPS use to be the best. Not anymore. unaccountable and incompetent
I was relying on UPS to receive my necessary specialty medication. UPS claimed to have "delivered" my package however they most certainly did not. I was home the entire day on the day they claimed they delivered the package and not 1 UPS truck was there all day. Being that this was very expensive medication that needs to be refrigerated, I cannot take chances with missing the package so I made sure to watch out for the truck. When I called UPS all they could tell me was that it was delivered. I tried to explain to them that they delivered to the wrong address and I need them to figure out where they actually dropped it off so I could get my medicine. They said it was delivered and there was nothing they could do! A neighbor from a different building in my complex (completely different street address, same apartment number) came 6 days later saying they delivered the package to her. Unfortunately, by that time the medication was unusable since the ice packs melted and the insurance company and pharmacy refused to replace it. I contacted UPS saying I located the box but due to their error my medication was destroyed. They refused to compensate me for my loss which was a result of their inability to read clearly marked addresses. That caused me to go a month without my essential maintenance medication. I will never do business with UPS again, I will choose FedEx from now on.

I received 3 packages from UPS today that had a short delay in Louisville, KY but still made it by the promise date. However, another package came through Louisville KY and according to the tracking on their site, along with the other packages made it to Colorado City and Commerce City, CO but instead of going on to North Platte, NE, it was sent back to Louisville, KY. I spoke with one of their agents who claimed it never left Louisville because of the weather, yet my 3 other packages did. Something here does not make sense, and I am very disappointed that I cannot trust their site and agents for straight answers about where my package is and has been. From the tracking information on the site it appears my package was erroneously sent back to Louisville or was never actually on the vehicle it was supposed to be on. I'm very upset I didn't receive the package by the promise date but I'm more upset with the dishonesty of UPS, trying to use inclement weather to cover up an apparent mistake. Unfortunately, this is the third time so far this year that I have had an experience like this. I do a lot of business with UPS and this is affecting my trust of this company's ethical integrity.
driveway damage
A UPS truck was sitting at the end of my newly graveled driveway. No delivery was made. He was just parked there for 10 to 15 minutes. This is private property, not a public parking area. When the driver left, he also left a deep hole. It was deep enough that it went thru a few inches of gravel, down into the underlying mud and spun the mud out. I called the Campbellsville, KY UPS office and asked them to come out and repair the hole. My complaining to them got me this: Because I made a complaint they will no longer service my address. They gave me 3 choices to choose from: 1 Give them an alternate address where they will deliver my shipments. (The only address I have, where someone is always home, is 17 miles away.) 2 Choose to have any packages shipped to me, via Campellsville, KY office, marked returned to sender. 3 Pick up any deliveries at the Campellsville, KY office, 55 miles away. I told them if they were there to make a delivery I would have overlooked the problem, but because they had no business using my driveway for parking convenience, that it was their problem as the driver was an agent of the company.

I called ups yesterday to see about my package that was the 1st attempt of being delivered. The lady that answered the phone when I called was using profanity and yelling at me while cutting my sentences off and wouldn't allow me to continue talking. I had her on speaker phone, my 2 children and my sister heard the entire conversation. I asked her for her name, she saud michelle. But refused to give me her last name. I also then insisted to know who her boss, manager, or supervisor was at this time Yesterday. 03/11/15 around 4:30 pm. She said she was the supervisor. Then insisted that she did have a supervisor and boss after I told her I wanted the name if the person ahead of her then. She said nobody and said to call back Tomorrow . I ended the call at that point. I want something to be done about this lady, whom was so rude to me and my 3 and 4 year old child heard talking the way she was. The ups I called I belive was out of New York. She told me I could pick up my package in Horseheads N.Y.

dishonest and poor customer service
If they are behind they will say you were not home to receive your package. if you call with concerns they will belittle you and not explain why they didn't bother to leave a slip. This particular location already has a poor reputation, they just keep proving everyone right by refusing to apologize or refusing to explain why they skip house or dont leave slips behind as proof that they actually made an effort.
UPS UK are a bunch of liars. i waited at home all day to see online that they attempted a delivery, which is a bold face lie. they are a disgusting company and the customer service have no clue how to help. The first person i spoke to said i could go and pick it up at barking, then the second person said there are restrictions from the shipper. i was just about to leave my house but decided to call up and make sure all was ok. they really are disgusting and pathetic. the worst delivery company in the world.
