employees acting very rude borderline racist.
On 10/13/18 I was waiting in line to buy some items when when another customer cut in front of me, placed her basket on the checkout counter. When I said excuse me, that I was waiting the cashier started speaking in Hatian(creole) to the customer completely ignoring me. When after about 5 minutes passed and I asked for the manager. When I was approached by your employee / mgr., I was told to go somewhere else if I didn't like their service.
The manager identified himself as Chris, when I asked his last name he said it was Brown like the rapper, than said : is that enough for you.
I couldn't believe how I was treated and am sure that was not the way you want your organization known.
I feel completely intimidated just walking into the store across the street from my house.
Please respond to acknowledge receipt.
Thank you,
David McCarthy

Forgot my meds...on vacation in Miami.. was a loyal points part. My doc was kind to call a limited replacement Rx to :
Walgreens

Sildenafil 20mg - 30 tabs = $520 (Really?)
Good Rx shows about $12 to $40 (1 @ Walgreens)...as an MD who sends $100s of thousands prescribed electronically to your coolective stores all over eastern NC. I am no longer a Walgreens personal user, and I will steer all and every patient of mine to other pharmacies!

Have been going to Greenwood/Glenview Rd in Glenview, I'll for years and everyone has always been courteous and helpful...until today. Was having problems with both kiosks for WU. The photo dept employee kept trying to help me but it seemed to freeze up. Her manager David arrived and she told him what was happening and that it seemed frozen. He looked over my shoulder briefly and Walked away busting himself with tidying up the area and totally ignoring us. He suggested one thing to then seemed to have no interest whatsoever in assisting. The associate tried her best. I told her and the manager that I thought I'd have to go elsewhere. He made no attempt to help in any way and seemed to have a rude attitude. This happened on Friday 10/5/18 at approximately 130pm.
I rarely file complaints. Usually it's complements. But this manager's disinterest got me angry.
I decided to go elsewhere and will never use Walgreens for WU help.

That is a RUDE lady ! I see the way she treats her employees she is a very RUDE individual! She walks around that store like she owns it and as well as many other women and me. Who have purchased said how she is this is the Walgreens in a laplace La 70068 . They have some nice employees there and there is one lady who works in photo sharmaine very sweet lady ! One of the BESt in that store honestly ! I always tell her she is to sweet and kind .
Laplace La Walgreens is the worst .
One time I was in that store and I watched as this customer cursed this female employee out and I understand the customer is right but NOT always ! I had a friend who worked at this one before and she got into it with a VERY disrespectful woman and her boss wrote her up and fired her . They was wrong for doing that because they have to understand those workers are PEOPLE too HUMANS and you don't let nobody disrespect you like that and she told me how the boss Bates fired her without even listening to her side . That's a evil woman . I complained to her before about something in the store and she acts as if she does not care about what you are telling her . They need to straighten her out ! She has a Nasty attitude !

On Oct 1st, at 11:50pm, I was taken two sick people direct from a prompt to pick up a prescription for their diagnosis. We went o the pharmacy because it was a 24 hour store. It is stir 6408 in Peoria, IL. The pharmacy only had one pharmacist on duty, so he was handling all the walk-up, plus the drive-thru patrons, phone calls, so he indeed was busy. However as we walked up he as in the phone, continued talking for 10 minutes before acknowledging the line of people waiting to drop off prescriptions. By this time the lady I had brought was getting sicker and weaker. I had them both sit in their waiting area. Forty minutes later (40), I approached and asked if he had any idea how much longer it might be, because the patient was getting weaker. In a very unprofessional tone he rebuked me for not being able to see how busy he was, and by "silly questions like mine, it was only making things worse. You just may wait until 40 minutes!" There were several people in the area who heard how he reacted to me. I was humiliated by a professional person. I myself am a professional educator who is a Stste Board of Education employee. I am also a regular customer at a different Walgreens in Peoria (the Peoria Heights), and the service is outstanding. The pharmacist made his words come true, as we did not leave Walgreens until 12:20am! We were there for exactly 1 hour, 30 minutes. I believe anyone would agree this was excessive and very hard on the two patients I had brought to the pharmacy. The man I am speaking of is of Indian descent. I acknowledge that they were busy, certainly not because they do a good job, but they are the only pharmacy in that area that are opened for 24 hours. The problem could have been solved, I believe if he would have had a pharmacy tech to: answer the phone, help customers going thru drive thru, ringing up sales. This would leave the pharmacist to do what they are trained for answering questions if patients and dispensing medicine. The way he snapped on me was inexcusable, but the issue is far bigger. In that incident you are understaffed, and the man you have representing what Walgreens was founded on is very poor. He needs to know he is taking care of sick people and act accordingly. Someone should rely that his behavior is unacceptable and ugly. A very disappointing experience. I hope he will be given some training in customer relations.
photo department
I have been a loyal customer to this Walgreens since 2006, I have spent thousands of dollars. My phone number is [protected] and I don't just stop
in for a few things and I don't just get a few pictures developed. In the last year, I guarantee I have spent over $5, 000.00 just in the photo department on canvases. I have never once made canvases and not been given at least 30%, sometimes 40%, until tonight, September 30, 2018.
Everyone at the store knows me by name, treats my with tespect, as I do them and it wasn't until a few months ago that I had as issue with a manager named Sheekie? (Not sure of spelling)
I had just had approximately 50 11x14 and 8x10 canvases done and would spend hours in the store doing same. Different people have helped me and at times I have paid before and at times I pay when I pick up, well during a 2 month period I had been in so many times and spent so much money and waiting very long for certain canvases, which I did not mind. However when I went to pick up one time is when I was met with an immediate attitude by Sheekie, who rudely said you DID not pay, I was taken aback and explained to her that I really thought I had already paid for the order, it was approximately $700.00 and I remember giving one of the workers 4 $100 dollar bills and putting the rest on my credit card? To be honest, I had spent so much money and I have never saved receipts because I never had any issues, any reason to.
So I will never know the truth about that order. What concerned me was the way I was spoken to and treated. I spent about a half an hour writing to her manager, I believe his name was John (but I'm not sure, however he is still the "big manager of the St Ann store" who was actually someone who had helped me many times before, was amazed at the number of canvases I had had and continued to have made, I explained to him that in addition to owning my own wholesale produce company with my husband and doing the financial end of our business, as well as running a law firm in the city for 27 years, since I graduated from. UNO, I also had an interior design business that started off as just loving to decorate and being great at it, no matter what the budget, $2000.00 to $2, 000, 000.00 and doing favors for friends and relatives, well I did a few offices, rooms and homes for college kids to million dollar homes and the word spread and now I could really just do the decorating, my passion, but I would never leave the law firm I helped build or the company we created from nothing which is now a very successful produce company, so for now I do decorating jobs when I can and I have used Walgreens photoshop for every job. I am loyal and believe in stating loyal and as a business owner of 3 businesses I have lived by the rule, the customer is always right. I smile and handle problems that are caused through no fault of mine, my husband, the attorneys I work with and the 10 women I employee, are they right? No! Do I make them feel right, valued, respected and important? Every day of my life!
So to get back on track, I was so upset by the way I was treated, looked at, assumed to be wrong and not even a slight move of well let's see what happened. She went through the motions but I am the customer, I deserve to be given the benefit of the doubt and I certainly deserve to be talked to like a lady. One of that happened so as I said I wrote her manager a letter on about 10 envelopes because I one had paper and left it with one of the sweetest employees, who could not believe the way I was treated, said Mrs Tammy you come in here and have 2 baskets over flowing at least once a week and she was very sorry and promised she would give me note to "John" or whatever his name is, the highest manager at the store, as soon as he returned from his vacation. So 1 week went by, 2 weeks, I went there to buy some things and asked if he was there, he was not, so I again left a note saying I think I deserve a return phone call? At this point I don't care about the money, to me now, it's about integrity, respect and caring about what you do and how you do it. So a couple of days later I got a call and knew from his first words, he did not care and even said when I asked if he read my note, yes I did, but I don't understand what did Sheekie do to you? How did she treat you? And how was she rude? She is very nice and I don't see how she did anything wrong!
I was beyond shocked and literally didn't say anything for a minute, then he said helllo?
I said obviously you did not read my note, you did not talk to any employees other than Sheekie and now I see the problem, you are the manager? You get a note from a loyal, valuable customer who you liked and laughed with and you don't have the decency to call me, I don't care who was right or who was wrong, you dismissed me, my note, my feeling about a situation, the way I was treated and it was handled? Do you still not see an issue? Why did you not return my call?
Honestly at that point, I couldn't tell you what was said cause I was absolutely disgusted, in disbelief and considered calling the manager who is now at the store on Decatur for some direction and who would be the best person to call. He was the best man, manager, respectful and grateful leader who actually was loved by so many people that a lot of us begged him to stay because he was that good and ran that store like a boss. I hope his is now a much bigger part of your organization because he represented you exactly how you would want every employee to, he cared about the customers and went out of his way to always help in any way he could.
Then life just began to get crazy, I went to Italy for a month, I prayed, breathed and decided I would blow it off, I was t going to get anywhere with him and so I just thought, I hope he and Sheekie, realize what and how they could have handled it better and despite the calls I get all day, everyday, from customers who are 100% wrong, but I make them feel heard, understood and do whatever it takes to keep them happy, because, it's simple, without customers, we wouldn't own businesses, successful businesses, I would pretend it didn't happen, stay away for a little while and started going to CVS until I saw one of your employees at a store and she actually hugged me, said Mrs Tammy we miss you, please come back, so I did and never say him or her until tonight when I walked in to have canvases done that totaled almost $800.00
She was there, did not acknowledge me, went out of her way to ignore me, spent 30 to 40 minutes taking a passport photo of an ex employee, who she laughed and talked with very loud, I guess for my benefit, and went on to tell the lady she was lucky she got out when she did, no raises, no concern, meaning Walgreens had no concern for her or anyone and what has me writing you at midnight is that not 1 time, not 1, have I walked into that store to do pictures, which for me, everyone knows is 1 to 2 hours of making canvases, I have always been given a 30% or a 40% code, always, and even if the store did not have an in store coupon, I was always given the courtesy of getting any online coupon because of my loyalty to you, the amount of time and money I spent and just courtesy. Well tonight I sat down, was there for over 2 hours, Logan, a young boy who works there and is a sweet typical teenage boy, helped me a couple of times and I could tell he was uncomfortable being his normal self with me and being in the photo area with her, so I did my best to do everything myself and actually went to the cashier when she didn't have customers to help me. So when I was finished, I said ok Logan I'm done, can you please give me the code? Now normally Logan and anyone else comes to the kiosk, enters a code and that's that. Well, Logan said Mrs. Tammy, we don't have a coupon for canvases the week? I looked at him and said Logan if you knew there was no coupon, why would you let me even start making canvases 2 hours ago? You actually sat next to me as I did the first one and showed you the 20 or 21 photos I was going to do?
So I went on my phone because I had numerous emails from Walgreens with all kinds of codes, some were for on line only, some ended today and I entered over 10 codes while Sheekie sat there, talking about the company with her ex employee after she did her passport, I'm sure you can look up who I'm talking about? She whispered, laughed and took pleasure in knowing she could, do the right thing, and help me, but instead saw me sit there about to cry and asking Logan and the cashier, Jordan, who was an angel and said Mrs Tammy just checkout without coupon code and I know they willl let you enter the code when you pick it up!
Bless her heart, she knew I was so hurt and couldn't believe what was happening! So Sheekie heard and saw me ask Logan and the cashier,
1. I have never placed an order for canvases without 30 or 40% off, actually I just realized I could get 60% off if I do it online or on the app, but I am just use to going there and getting them either later in the day or the next day, it's just a habit
2. I would NEVER place an order without getting 30 or 40% off, there are too many online businesses, like easy canvas or cvs or Walmart, I'm would never pay without a coupon, my order was $800.00!
3. Is there any way I can save the order to my app? Or they save it till new coupons come out, because I promise you there is always at least 30% off canvases every week!
4..Is there anything they can think of to help me not lose 2 hours of work? So finally I was so mad and upset and could feel myself about to explode so I just placed the order with no coupon... then
This was not an oversight, as I'm paying the $100.00 in other things I bought, Logan runs up to me and says "Mrs Tammy, we have your 11x14's but we don't have any 8x10's and we won't be getting them for maybe two weeks! I started laughing like a crazy person and said, Logan I will pick up 8x10 canvases from another Walgreens and bring here tomorrow, so go tell your boss nice try and I hope she feels good making me look and feel like an idiot, I'll be back tomorrow
5. So as I packed my car, I felt myself getting so angry so I stuck my head in the store and asked Jordan to please have Logan come to the front? And I went and stood by my car, he came out and before I could say, how many 8x10's do you need, I'm going to pick them up from either another Walgreens in Mandeville or my friend at Decatur Street store, he said, sorry Mrs Tammy, we found them, they were in the corner? Seriously, this poor kid couldn't even say it without his voice braking, obviously he was embarrassed not just about that, but about everything
Logan was there for it all from day one.
So I guess I'm hoping that you, the corporation and the CEO of Walgreens values its customers? Values loyalty? Values integrity? And cares when an employee is not only rude and goes out of her way not to help a long-standing customer, but then lies about having no canvases? If I wouldn't have asked Jordan to get Logan, would she or have him just wait till tomorrow and tell me? This is blatent rudeness, unprofessional and to me crosses a line that should not be crossed? I also don't think a manager should talk in front of customers with an ex employee about what she does or does not get, or what she thinks, feels or says and how she feels about the company she is working for?
So I'm not going to waste my time calling "John" or whoever the so called manager is who started this by believing an employee without even contacting or reaching out to the customer? I feel very confident that I could meet with anyone and explain this whole mess, I hope I'm making sense, I'm exhausted, so mad, but the mad is really hurt and I can and will answer any questions, show you proof of anything and I guarantee every employee in that store past and present knows me, loves me, enjoys me coming there and will tell you who I am, what I'm about and that other than Sheekie and the manager, you won't find anyone who has a bad thing to say about me. There was an older lady who worked for you for years who I would bring coffee to every morning.
So please look up my account [protected] to see what king of customer I am, my cell phone is [protected], my email is [protected]@romearata.com and my address is 1292 Springwater Dr, Mandeville Louisiana 70471.
Please respond to me immediately about my photo order, so I can at the very least, go pick up my order tomorrow, as a few of the canvases are for my 28th wedding anniversary and a non profit woman's shelter I am decorating pro bono.
At the very least please see if you can get authority to help me with my latest photo order, as a show of good faith
I do realize this is not the end of the world and in the big picture means very little, but I try to live and treat people the way I would like them to live and treat me.
And I am very serious, as a woman, a business owner and a human being, if someone who worked for me and represented me treated anyone the way I was treated, especially tonight, I would want to know and it would be my first priority to do all I could to make it right.
Honestly, after all of it, if she would have said the appropriate, professional and thing you are paying her for (not enough as far as she is concerned) which is "Hello, how are you", you do not know me but I would have not only engaged I would have tried to make things right, that is who I am, so no matter what, I would like the boss of all bosses to see this email
Thank you for your time
Attached are a "small fraction" of the photos I have had canvases made of just in the last year

I called the pharmacy and ask for my Carbamazepine filled - special ordered white small pills. They - 369 Plymouth Ave refused to order the medicine. I had to go out of my way and call another Walgreens location to get it filled. They are also not cutting the medicine, which my neurologist says they are supposed to follow the directions on the label. Go to googlemaps search and other customers are leaving complaints within googlemaps. So I'm not the only one who sees an issue
prescription
Picked up prescription onnnfriday and only received partial (3 pills of 30). Clerk did not tell me it was only partial. Dr said be admitted into hospital or take pills and see if they work. Needed prescription to prevent hospital stay. Did not have enough pills. Our home is 45 minutes from Walgreens. I had to pay $87.00 cash to get the remainder pills. I would have never taken a partial if the clerk would have told me they only had 3 pills. I was driving 4 hours from the Walgreens in Houston to my home. Besides for the inconvenience this causes me Walgreens owes me $87.00. I will not accept this response "there is nothing we can do". It was Walgreens fault, not mine. I paid the prescription because I had to have the pills. But I am disputing charge with credit card company. If this is not taken care of I am switching pharmacies.
Walgreens pharmacist had no regards to my situation except to say nothing could be done.

Always get Phentermine from Walgreen's. Always give me blue and clear capsules — beads, not powder. Cannot take powder; doctor knows; they gave me brain fog. This time, she gave husband powder and said there wasn't any other kind.
Called Sam's Health Mart in town. They will order them, I can get them tomorrow. Now I have to call the clinic and ask for a new prescription tomorrow and ask for a new prescription, although they already gave me one. And insurance won't pay twice, so I'll have to pay full price IF they'll even give me a second prescription.
Asked Wal-greens when I called to complain after talking to Sam's — that there IS the other kind — will they order them? They refused. But Sam's is ordering them for me tonight. Why did walgreen's refuse to order them?
I want my money refunded — the amount I have to pay Sam's tomorrow to get the second prescription filled, IF they will even give me another one. Otherwise, if I have health problems because I took the kind she insisted on giving me, I will be complaining again.
shingles vaccination
I had an appointment for my second shingles booster shot scheduled for 11:00 am at your 418 Quincy Ave. Quincy, Ma. [protected] the confirmation number is I4DERYRY. When I arrived I was told that the vaccine was out of stock.
When i asked why i was not informed of this I was told that the pharmacy was not responsible for the communication that the corporate office was. I was also told that they showed that I had canceled the appointment. An old appointment was canceled not this one.
A call or text message would have been nice so that my wife did not have to take time off from work to take me to the pharmacy.
I have scheduled all my future immunizations with my local CVS pharmacy
and will no longer shop for anything at any Walgreen's in the future..

I went to the Walgreens on County Farm Rd and Army Trail Rd to get a prescription filled. When I got to the counter, there was a sign stating the pharmacist was at lunch until 2:00pm. I stayed there because it was 2:15pm and wanted to wait for the script. A lady came over and said the pharmacist is at lunch until 2:00.
I stated that it was 2:15pm and she very rudely said "well I guess she left late!" I said I will have to wait for it. She then said I have 33 scripts ahead of you so it will be at least an hour. I turned a looked around and there was no one waiting anywhere. I asked her why she wouldn't fill mine when I am here and would fill 33 others before me when they aren't here. She again rudely stated, because they ordered them first!. I took my prescription and went to Osco.
I am moving all of my scripts to Osco now. They are so much more friendlier. With a pharmacy on every corner, you would think that Walgreens would provide better Customer Service and try to keep who they have.
new design and staff
The new design that makes it look like CVS and new staff is the reason I WILL NO LONGER SHOP THERE.
The new staff of arrogant and non-professional staff is disgusting. I'm shopping in the skin area close to the check out and these black dudes are laughing and joking amount themselves with no respect for the customers. Then this young Mexican dudes keeps asking do you need help with anything. At that point I dropped what I was planning to buy, left the store and went to CVS where you are treated like a prized customer.
You got it all wrong Walgreens.
re: mfg. mallinckrodt product substitute
As I am not the only person this has effected, I will do whatever it takes to make someone check or test the product they are distributing. Their hydrocodone/acetaminophen replacement for norco 7.5 is not the equal to the other mfg ie watson. I have contacted a local lab, provided both tablets, one from watson, the other from this mallinckrodt supplier. They are not providing a generic that is true to its ingredients. Their products has been "diluted" or reduced just enough to pass fda regulations. For the walgreens drug store chain? Or whoever else they are selling this product to? It wont stop with just me... I am contacting the fda thru an independent lab. This is a very serious matter. People are buying medicine that is ineffective in their daily medical care in order to give the buyers more for the money. They are being cheated. Thank you.
Somebody needs to take this seriously... It is very real. Walgreens pleads stupid, they simply sell what they get... Per my pharmacist at my nearest walgreens. I just found out also that walgreens has no plans to change back or provide another supplier for this medication. I already have 17 people who have been effected by walgreen changes, including myself. Thank you for any consideration in this matter.
pharmacy
I use the walgreens pharmacy close to my house for the last 5 years but in the last 2 years they have been getting worse and worse about customer service, despite getting the same medications filled every month they never seem able to have my medications on hand. I had been getting my childrens medication from Walgreens but after 3 times of them not their medication I moved them. This seems like the only recourse I will have is to take my bussiness elsewhere. The pharmacist has repeatedly questioned me and my wife about our medications and why we take them. This is outrageous and uncalled for.
I fell on a wet floor... there was no sign. I hurt my knees greatly.
Approximately 5:40 as i was leaving the pharmacy inside the walgreens at 8609 tidewater drive norfolk va 23503, i slipped on a very wet and slippery floor, where the "jack n jill" ice cream man had recently unloaded frozen stuff into the ice cream cooler in the food section. The was no signs or anyone around...and female employee stood there staring at me... A customer helped me up. I asked for a managers name as i was leaving and the other employees at the register were vague and would only give me a first name. Moria. I called and tries to speak with her...was put on hold twice and hung up on.
I will be following up with my lawyer as i have to seek medical attention. I am in severe pain from the fall.
weekly ad 9/16/2018 - 9/22/2018 not being honored as advertised.
Approximately 0830, 9/16/2018, I entered the Walgreens at 700 Frederick Blvd. Portsmouth, Va. for the purpose of buying XTRA brand liquid laundry detergent which was on sale at .88 per 51 oz. bottle. I asked the store clerk if the bottles directly in front of the entrance were the ones on sale and she replied if there they are. Then she handed me a sale ad. I got a cart and proceeded to place bottles in it and at 12 she called out loudly to someone I could not see if there was a limit. I heard a voice from the back say, "tell them four". The clerk looked at me while I was putting the last of the 18 bottles in and called out loudly again that they needed to come up front because their was going to be a problem. I asked the clerk where it was written on the ad concerning a limit, she replied it's the managers choice. I said where is that written on the ad, and she replied the manager will be here shortly. A woman showed up, took an ad and began reading it. I had already read it including the small print when the woman marked a section dealing with coupons as her justification for her decision on limits. I called her attention to this and that I would be calling corporate and she said I could get 6. I said Lady you need to place a sign or something, your very misleading and I want the 18 in the cart (I had gotten 6 of each type of the 3 different ones). She again repeated I could get 6 and I said you can put them back, I am going to make a call. I returned home (less than a mile) and told my wife what had occured and approximately 30 minutes later her and one of my grandchildren went to the same store where my wife got 8 bottles and put them in a cart. The same clerk according to my wife's description told her she could only get 4 and my wife told her she was getting 4 and my grandson was getting 4. She said the clerk was just as snobby with her as she was with me. My wife also said they had NOT put any type of sign up showing a limit. I called and filed a complaint and unlike other businesses, I was not given anytype of reference number. She did have my number and assured me someone would call me within 2 days. I have never been so embarrassed and as humiliated as I am today. My family and extended family use this pharmacy almost on a weekly bases. I seriously don't think I can go in there again.

Hello, My compliant I have is within the Pharmacy Department at Store Number #4705
The employees at the pharmacy are quite rude and unprofessional. They will leave you on a constant hold, pick up the phone and put you on hold again without greeting you and informing you that you are getting put on hold. The wait is extremely long and tired some. I do not like having my rx filled at this location at all. Please seek improvement in this store immediately or customer professionalism training asap.

9/7/18 I received a call from the automatic refill department telling me I was due to reorder Armour Thyroid. I was told by this department, my prescription would be ready the next day by 5, but I can call and check. I immediately called to make sure this was accurate as the next day was Saturday. The pharmacy told me it was not accurate and they agreed to call me after they got the order. I explained I need Armour to function as I have no thyroid. They told me they will let me know when they get the order. Today is 9/12/18. I have one pill left and have not heard from Walgreens. I contacted the pharmacy and was told they have not received a response to their fax. I explained I need the prescription to function and live and can't be without it. This has also happened with my husband insulin and diabetic supplies. The person on the phone informed me they "can do nothing without a doctor's prescription and do you want me to help or not". I explained I also work in health care and have never spoken like that to a patient. I will pursue the prescription myself even though they have had 5 days to address this urgent need. I am considering changing pharmacies. I would like a pharmacy that would consider calling after 3 days if the doctors office does not respond for a life sustaining medication.
