photo processing
Please be aware that Walgreens Photo Processing is not the "1 Hour Photo" per the LARGE LETTERS on the outside of the store, especially the one on Muscatine Avenue in Iowa City, IA. I took two rolls of 35mm film to that local store on August 28, 2018 with a return date of Sept. 3, 3018. Tried to pickup on Sept. 5, 2018 and learned they didn't get sent to their lab on time and had just been received that day in ARIZONA! I then picked them up last night (Sept.10) and upon unpacking found the negatives missing. There are no signs in the store, nor was I advised that the negatives would not be returned. Apparently there is a small box on the submission envelope that says "Your negatives will not be returned. Your images will be returned on a free CD." A clerk filled out the envelope, generated a stick on label and then tore off a claim ticket and handed to me. I never saw the front of the submission envelope. The store "manager" could not/would not give me a phone number to call to try to find the negatives. After multiple long distance phone calls I found the Fuji lab in Arizona and learned they do have the negatives and made arrangements to get them. The no return is NOT the lab policy rather it is some form of contract with Walgreens. They charged me approximately $18/roll this this "1 hour service." Also be aware that the file size of these images will be less than 2 MB so don't plan on doing any significant, quality enlarging. My point and shot digital creates a 6.5-7.0 MB jpg file when set for best resolution by comparison. Buyer beware!
Fuji would not send the negatives to me directly, rather they are being returned to the store and I'll have to make another trip to pickup. Sure hope they can handle something out of the ordinary!

pharmacy staff
I dropped off two rx a couple of weeks ago. One they could fill right away, the other I had to wait. They called a few days or week later & I said I hadn't been able to make it back that way to pick it up, could you hold it a few more days & I was told sure no problem. I go to pick up my rx today & find out it had been put back & they WON'T refill it. She said well it had to be filled within 30 days & it's now past 30 days. I said well as you can see I filled it prior to the 30 days & she agreed & I said I never told you to put it back you took that upon yourself. She now says I need a new rx because the 30 days expired. I feel like I'm in bizarro world. Do you not understand that it WAS filled before the expiration date & YOU put it back. Not my problem. This is unbelievable & unexceptible that I now have to pay another $80 copay at least to get another rx because the pharmacy team is incompetent. The girl who called me about picking up my rx NEVER said I had to do so before a certain day & ageed to hold it for me.
pharmacy
I have my child and I prescriptions filled at the 95th & Ashland location in Chicago. I had been waiting since July for my son Epipen to be refilled, I got it filled at the hospital pharmacy 2weeks ago, being that they never got the pens in stock. Last week I went to pick up my prescriptions, I was handed part of my refills and when I inquired about the rest the lady asked what was missing. so, I listed the 2 that were missing. She proceeds to tell me one I Iisted was in the bag pointing out the label. I pointed out to he that yes, that is one of my insulin's I'm picking up but its not the one listed on the label. She asked me to wait a moment while she correct and had her coworker to finish up. So, the new lady handed me my prescriptions and I asked her about my insulin. Now they have the correct insulin with the label and the one that hadn't been labeled or bagged correctly isn't in the bag. The new lady states to me its out of stock. So, I pointed out to her that it was jus in the mislabeled bag. Then she tells me that I would have to wait because insurance only pays every 30 days. I pointed out again they have it and it have been 34 days. This wasn't resolved, I finally reached a manager today that tried to convince me I got the insulin on 08/28/18. So, I went over everything with her again. After, all this is cleared up I will be transferring our prescriptions. Since I've been coming to this location my service have not been like other pharmacies or locations, its always a problem.
drug store
I called in refills for 2 scripts. I was told they would be done that afternoon. I received a voicemail that my order was ready. I made a special trip to pick them up. Only one of the two was actually ready. They told me I could wait 15 minutes, but I had guests coming and couldn't. No one told me they would be closed on Labor Day. Today, I went to pick up the remaining script. The line was long and slow. The worker gave a lengthy explanation to the car in front of me. She simply told me they were behind. It was not the Pharmacist's allocated lunchtime yet. I am seriously considering changing pharmacies. The helpers are rude and the communication is poor
hrs of operation
This location on cervantes and 9th ave was a 24hr store.
This was changed awhile back to the dismay of many customers such as myself. Your late nighttime crew was really a good crew always helpful, working to stock shelves, keep the store clean...That is not happening now!
i asked the daytime staff why it closed. They said for safety reasons. Are your serious? across the street there is a 24hr gas station, a 24 hr krispy kreme donut store and on friday and saturday night mcdonalds is open 24hrs and the rest of the wk they close at midnight. Our police dept is only about 2mins from that location. That intersection is one of the busiest in our town. Majority of anyone who works or goes downtown comes by that intersection late at night when those locations close--mostly arount 2am on their way home. People were constantly stopping by to pick up something they needed on their way home. If i had to go to walgreens a lot further out on 9th ave and langley i would go to walmart which is open 24hrs and only about 3 mins from that location. When you pass by there after hrs there is always trash in the parking lot and when you go in early they are trying to stock shelves or there are boxes on the shelves. My husband has gone by on two occasions one at 4 mins before 12 and the other one at 15 mins before 12 and the store was closed. One night he went by at 10 till and two lady managers were outside smoking and when he pulled up they went inside and when he walked to the door it was locked...We both feel whoever came up with this idea of closing at 12 needs to rethink it...It is not being handled properly and not customer friendly. In the daytime there is a publix store/pharmacy 1 mins away and a new cvs about 5 mins from this location..I told them they need to consider staying open 24 hrs and they will get alot of walgreens customers.
pharmacy
Upon opening my meds I find it is not the entire amount ordered. I call and clerk says they are out of stock.ok great, I'll get rest later.(Mid to End of July)
As of August 31st, it has happened several times.after looking at my receipts, it's costing same amount or within few dollars of when I fill it with 5 missing.
Therefore the cost for the 5 which I did not order, want, intended on receiving is extra money coming out of my pocket! They filled it the 30 and told me they could not fill more until Tues, not cause ins. But because they would not have none.5 Days WOW, WALGREENS? I want my money back, customer service, email me I'll send you prescription#, look vids! Rakateering!?This could go viral! just fix problem please! very dissatisfied! Life Time customer!
pharmacy problems
I get at least 12 prescriptions filled here a month. Every time I go to fill my scripts I van expect a new problem. This is the most unorganized pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. With my one medication Testim I can expect the pharmacy to never have it in stock. Even though I get it filled at the same time each month. They have lost my script for a controlled substance. The pharmacy also over filled a prescription by putting twice the amour in my container which was also a controlled substance. If I was a dishonest person I would have just kept the script given to me. I called them right away and drove back to the pharmacy to return it. I just had an instance where I dropped a prescription off at the counter to a pharmacy worker to fill while I walked around the store only to find after 20 minutes have passed I returned to the counter. A different pharmacy person helped me and said we didn't fill it because there was no address written on the script. They proceeded to frantically look for my prescription and said the couldn't find it. I told them the computer it was scanned in at at to their suprise the prescription was still in the scanner tray. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes to get it filled. These mistakes don't occur once in a while at this pharmacy. They occur EVERY TIME I get a prescription filled. Also the prescription I was just talking about was for Vyvanse which is a controlled substance. If I was to take down everyone's name that screwed up at this pharmacy. There wouldn't be enough room. What I do know is the pharmacists name was Andy. I don't want to complain about him because he has done whatever he could to rectify any problems that have occurred while he is working. The problem is there are too many different people behind the counter making mistakes then leaving without telling anyone what they just did. I have know idea how the drug count at the end of each day could be accurate with all the mistakes happening. I would NOT EVER use your pharmacy again except my insurance limits what pharmacies I can use.
employment
Store 11953 has a big problem... time clock fraud to include management working off the clock, getting lunches takin out when you worked thru them, manager changing times so people do not get overtime...also the beauty consultant does truck and cleans bathrooms while on the task list... again the store is in iron mountain mi and is a horrible environment. The managers have zero respect for anyone to include hire ups.
I am filing my claim for the misconduct of a pharmacist who without my authorization opened my ophthalmic product by contaminating it in retaliation.
On Monday, August 20, 2018, we purchased at the Walgreens Pharmacy (# 09974) located at 420 South Main ST Springville, UT 84663 at 5:23 PM ATROPINE Sulfate Ophthalmic Ointment USP 1% (STERILE) Rx only, still finding us at the Storage making purchases; We decided after a few minutes to return the product mentioned above, attending a lady at the pharmacy who was flexible for the return because the product was completely sealed, at that time approached the Pharmacist Mr. Kevin, who also verified in our presence that the product was totally closed. The pharmacist Mr. Kevin, I do not accept the return of the product without any explanation, withdrawing from the counter.
We insisted on the return with the lady, it was at that moment that the Pharmacist Mr. Kevin told the lady that he would get the product he wants to return, they were talking inside the pharmacy at one end for several minutes manipulating the product.
After a few minutes the young lady and the pharmacist Mr. Kevin approached us, telling us that the product could not be returned, but nevertheless they had removed the safety cap, opened it and crushed the cream.
We claim him, why did they do it? Without answering, they left.
Our claim and annoyance, because they hire unscrupulous people, who, being a pharmacist, open the products by contaminating them in reprisal so that they can not return it.
As that ophthalmic product contaminated it, it no longer works.
It is outrageous that these acts occur in a prestigious pharmacy like yours,
Sincerely
Miguel Carranza & Amelia Sanchez

unethical behaviour
I went in to the Walgreens on 913 N. Market Street in Waterloo, Illinois with my daughter. I went to the consultation area back in the pharmacy. The Pharmacist asked if I needed help and I began to explain my situation that I had with my 5 year old daughter. He looked me right in the face and in front of everyone standing there stated " I think she has an infectious disease" and then laughed. He was rude and a very BAD reflection for Walgreens. If I ever have any questions or issues, Walgreens will be the last place I'd turn to, your employees are suppose to be a reflection of your company.
prescription medicine
Recently, I went to Walgreen located at Pinole, California. They, without my consent, or request asked doctor as "Customers requested 90 tablets" while my doctor initially prescribed 30 tabs. When I told them why did they give me 90 tabs instead of 30 tabs, they blamed my doctor but on my next visit, my doctor showed me the truth as they had lied me by asking more approval from my physician.
return of recalled medications
I recently purchased Valsartan tablets at the local Walgreens store (on Campbell Station Road in Knoxville, TN) based on my primary care doctor's prescription. We subsequently learned (not from Walgreens) that these tablets were recalled by the FDA and obtained a replacement (alternative drug) prescription from my primary care doctor, which we filled at Express Scripps. I attempted to return the Valsartan to the Walgreens store where they were purchased (rather than dispose of them myself because of concerns associated with inappropriate disposal) and was told by the store employees that they did not take returns of recalled medicine at that location. They insisted that I had to take the pills to another Walgreens store several miles distant to dispose of them. Thus they put the burden on me to transport these pills to the other location and/or dispose of them in an improper and possibly environmentally unsound manner. This seems to me to be a clear case of misplaced administrative avoidance of responsibility. Thus I am very disappointed in Walgreen's attitude toward accepting responsibility for such a socially important issue, and I will go out of my way in the future to avoid doing business with them.
pharm. dept and employees working in pharmacy on 8/14/2018
I dropped a script off at 8:30am, its a comp case, still at 7:30pm script wasn't filled and was told system went down due to a storm, the storm didn't hit until 3-4pm. I then stated that's no excuse I dropped it off at 8:30am. I ten was told by both rude workers that there was nothing they can do there were other scripts to be done before me … really I was in there at 8:30am...The workers in that dept are incompitant. I was also given info that had nothing to do with me ( bin # etc) ( I was also told the script was no good...I stated haw is that since I got it the day before by my Dr at 2pm) they had No answer..This was the 3rd time I had a script filled out on July 6th I had the same script by my Dr and it was filled in 15 min...after going back and forth with the workers I took my scripts back( they had them almost 12 hrs). I went to Walmart they tried to put the info they gave me in the system and it had nothing to do with my comp. Unable to help me I took my scripts back from them too. I called the Walgreens on E Main Street and I explained the situation...I was told to come to them in the morning and they would take care of it for me...Today 8/15/2018 I went to them at 8:15 am and the info given to me from the other one wasn't even in the system under my name.. I had my script in 20 mins...… I will no longer go to the N Main Street location due to the rude and incompitant workers in that dept...I have been there for at least 20 yrs now they lost a loyal customer...also, even though I got quick and fast polite service from the E Main Street walgreens I am unsure if I will continue to shop your company. Needless to say I was very upset.
pharmacy
I tried to fill a prescription, given by a hospital, and was told they did have the medication in stock, however they REFUSED to fill it because the hospital was located in another city. This hospital was literally only 20 mins away! This is absolutely ridiculous And totally unnecessary! I had already tried several pharmacies that did not have the script in stock. When you are discharged from the hospital and in pain the very last thing you want to do is travel all over the place to try to fill a script only to be told NO by the only pharmacy around that happens to have it! I am highly upset and extremely disappointed in Walgreens! I have used Walgreens pharmacy for many, many years but this will be the last time I try to fill anything there!
employees
I visited the store on south broadway and the employees there was really rude i was waiting on my pictures to be printed out i understand that u have to wait but i sat there for 25 mins and they continued to walk past me they kept looking at me whispering and drinking their drinks laughing came from behind the counter ringing each other up talking about their sister stealing liquor from them but no one came to assist me then i stormed out pissed off and called in there to speak with a supervisor they were changing their voices basically playing games then left me on hold and i still dont have my pictures those pictures were for my grandmother's obituary it was just a horrible experience
lack of pharmacy
I shop at 15301 E Mississippi Ave, Aurora, Colorado. For an hour today I tried to get customer service or pharmacy. First your recording cuts out and does not let caller give a response. After about 30 minutes of that I finally got to choose the pharmacy but was on hold another 30 minutes. I hung up, called again and talked to the store manager. His answer for your phone system "That sometimes happens." I told him when the pharmacy doesn't answer it could lead to someone taking an overdose by mistake and that they should not be in business if they cannot provide all the services. Glad I have my prescriptions for three months before I need refills. He did transfer me back to the recording where we are supposed to make a choice, which cut out again. I was able to get to the push button choice and remained on hold another 30 minutes. Plan to do all my business at King Soopers from now on.
mattematic mechanical eyeliner and infallible longwear eye pencil
I bought both of these at my local Walgreens and both are terrible. First, you must put so much pressure on the eyelid with the eyeliner or the pencil to get any color at all that it causes great pain to the eyelid, second, when you exert pressure the tip breaks off and there is less than 1/4 inch of pencil in each product. These are among the worst L'Oreal products I've purchased. I do not have the receipt any more so I hope you will refund the cost of these products. Thank you.
manager fatuma/rude customers service
I Angela Klocke was at the store #12271 on 8-6-18 between 120am-130am. I asked the cashier if I had left my ID. She said she would ask the manager. Manager was in the middle of helping a customer so I patiently wait till she's done. She (manager) than rudely says what do I need. I tell her if I had left my ID. She rudely rolling her eyes says NO. I than try to tell her about how I was in the store earlier and my card wasn't working and the cashier had called manager and she (manager)was able to get my card to work and at that time had asked for my ID. Manager rudely interrupted me before I could finish explaining, cuts me off. She says rudely with an attitude an raises her voice saying LIKE I SAID I DON'T HAVE YOUR ID BECAUSE I HELPED YOU EARLIER. First of all she didn't even fully listen to what I had to say because she interrupted me as I was talking. Didn't even try to help me and was very very rude and has a bad attitude. Very poor customer service as a manager. Won't be visiting this store again
