pharmacy service and customer service
I babe been a customer of the walgreens store located at 6899 sw 117 avenue in miami, fl for over 15 years, and as a former chief executive officer of hca hospitals and healthsouth am fully aware of how difficult it is to fully control all of your employees actions. However the service and attitude I received today from luis at this store was one of which I have never in any store, pharmacy or local retail establishment have ever been exposed to. I was simply inquiring on one of my medications which is for epilepsy and is not always available and he was not only rude, didn't care, didn't answer and as I suspected my medications were not ready. This individual is inept has no understanding of the importance of having the right answer available to customer and therefore will be moving my business elsewhere.
Sincerely
Elizabeth izquierdo, cpa ms
service
I moved to oconomowoc 3 plus years ago and started using the walgreens. I have been a walgreens customer for 30 years.
I recently had 3 prescriptions sent in to be filled. The clerk at the pharmacy was totally inept, condescending and ignorant. I had a 1:30 appointment, 10 mins from walgreens. I got to walgreens at 1:05. The clerk at first said she could not find my prescription. She then found it but said I wasn't listed as a customer and she would have to complete a new user profile. Note, I had just picked up a prescript 5 days earlier. I had to answer all the questions for setting it up. Next, she tells me that my insurance does not cover one of the prescripts which I know is untrue. So, I say fine send me the other 2. She said do you want express pay to which I said yes. I have always used express pay there. She then says we will have to set that up now. It is now 1:25, at best I will be 5 mins late. I tell her to forget it. I had sent my driver’s license in with the container at the drive thru. I said just send me my driver's license back. She then goes on to the next customer in the other lane. I buzz the call button and she ignores me. I did this for 5 mins. Finally, a gentleman comes by and asks how he can help. I said I just want my license back. There are now 3 cars behind my line and 4 in the other. So obviously this clerk is also effecting the other customers that are waiting. The gentleman walks away. I wait another 2 mins and nothing. I now drive away to go inside to retrieve my license. I must wait in line for 3 more mins. The clerk there doesn't know what i'm talking about. Finally, the gentleman comes over with my card. Says he went outside to give it to me. Why he didn’t put it in the container is beyond me. He asks how he can help. I explain what had happened. All he does is say i'm sorry. I finally stated, I will never come to this walgreens again and I leave. I have now spent 30 mins in line, with the clerk and then manager. I am late and I do not have the prescription.
I call the walgreens and ask to have my prescription transferred. He tells me the receiving walgreens needs to call. I call that one and they don’t even show the prescript in the system as either being new or even filled. So now I must call my doctor again to have it redone.
I have lost an hour over time, was late for an appointment, still haven't received my prescript and unhappy and frustrated.
Thanks for wasting my time oconomowoc.

The "pharmacist" Andrew was just about the MOST unprofessional person I've ever had to deal with. He and the associate he had working with him continued to loudly bad mouth another pharmacist customer and ignore the customers in the line. When I asked if my prescription was ready, or was going to be ready soon, I told him it was unprofessional to act that way in front of customers. Evidently I hit a nerve, he became defensive and asked if I was a "doctor" because he was. Um, okay, good for you. Don't act like a pathetic teenager with all your angst pent up inside if you're supposed to be a professional doctor. Never again will I use this pathetic excuse for a pharmacy. Every time I use a Walgreens I tell myself never again. This for sure, will be the last time. I will also be forwarding this on to the corporate headquarters about Andrew. What a [censor]. Who talks to their customers that way? Ladies and gentlemen, this just goes to show you you don't need "8 years of college" like he told me he had, to be a kind, professional, decent human being.
pharmacy
The most careless lazy pharmacy personnel i've ever dealt with. It is the third time that I have to experience the lack of professionalism and apathy these people have. They should show compassion and interest in helping people that reaches out to them. Will ever use walgreen's pharmacy? Never again. No further explanation, just wanted to get the word do not use walgreens paharmacy at that location ever.
pharmacy
The local Walgreen's on 2 occasions has shorted my monthly oxycodone medication. I received only 100 pills instead of 120. In June 2017 & August 2017. Its at 128 E Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. Stay away from there.
Upon speaking with mgr in July 2017, she was unconcerned when I showed her the previous bottle used couldn't physically hold 120 pills. Rude manager at this location.
Both times I called Corporate office and received the same disinterested approach. They really could care less. Only suggestion was to count my pills at the counter.
I would think Walgreen's show higher concern for a serious quality problem at one of their locations. Misuse of pain medication is a national problem that puts strain on all people who need it daily to survive chronic pain.
pharmacy
The Walgreens in Dallas Texas on Lake June & Masters Dr. is the worst I have ever seen. The drive thru always takes at least 10 min Eve if there's no line. The associates are extremely slow, and they are constantly running out of medications. The most recent incident happened on 9/12/17 around 10:30 a. m. I went to the drive thru to pick up a prescription and looked at the clock when I arrived it said 10: 27. There was one car ahead of me so by the time I got to the window it is 10:38, then it take another 5 minutes for the associate to finish with a customer on the inside before the come to help me at the drive thru.
pharmacy customer service
I received a prescription on 09/05/2017. It was delivered to the pharmacy by my eye doctor. She also gave me a coupon for Xidra and said that it would not cost me anything with the coupon but to ask how much it would be for the refills. That should be discounted as well. I waited to go to the pharmacy so they would have time to get it ready. I sent my husband two days later. He came home without it because he said the pharmacy could not get the coupon entered. So I called the 800# listed on the coupon and spoke with a rep that activated the coupon and said I should deliver to the pharmacy for a $0 copay. I went back to the pharmacy around 8:30 that night. They took my coupon and had me waiting in the drive thru for about 12 minutes, then they asked me to drive around while they got it ready. I drove back around waiting another 15 minutes for them to tell me that it was still saying that I owed approximately $750. I tried to tell the pharmacist that I had called and I had a number on the brochure that she could call. She kept interrupting me and talking over me. Then she said, "let me check to see if we even have it in stock", and then proceeded to tell me they would have to order it and I could pick it up at another store that is located out of town or come back on Monday, Sept. 11th to pick it up there. Her tone and demeanor was very unprofessional. What happened to the customer is always right? What happened to "I'm sorry, or I apologize, I should've checked that when the prescription came in before I wasted 30 minutes on Sept. 7th, and 30 min on Sept. 8th and your gas each day." Why is it unreasonable to listen and explain to people that are already in a compromised position because they are ill or maybe spending money that they don't have to try to get well/ What happened to compassion?
verizon prepaid phone and card
I went into one of your locations to go inquire about buying a prepaid phone. I was shown the LG Verizon phone. Alan the Walgreens employee explained everything and was shown and told you can either get a $30 plan a $40 plan or $50 plan. So I bought the phone the LG phone and the $30 prepaid card. When I went to activate my phone it said that I needed at least $40 to activate the phone even though I was just told by alan that there is a $30 plan so I went back in to return the $30 card and they said that there's no refunds available you can't refund those cards so then I had to buy and spend another $40 to get this phone working and I want to know if I can get my monmmmy $30 back I still have the card and everything. I am extremely upset that is spend almost $100 when it should only cost me $50. What can I do to get my $30 back

I've been going there for my meds for three years. My husband is authorized to pick up my medication. I have my own last name and have had no issues picking up my medication until now. 9/10/2017 at 1:45 am at Walgreens on little neck and Virginia Beach Blvd # [protected] . She is a blond headed woman who couldn't even talk to me at the window. She sat somewhere in the back for five minutes before she acknowledged me. I went though the entire process of getting my meds just to be told I couldn't get them because my name wasn't on my husbands card. She could have told me sitting down where she was to begin with. I have the PIN number it's a debt card.
She was very rude. I have never seen her there before and I hope never to see her again. I have never been treated like a theif and told I might have stole ny husbands card and tried to use it. I use it every month .i use it everyday at other stores.! She was rude and actually accused me of being a theif. I don't know what store she came from but needs to go back and learn manners. I don't care if she's been working as a pharmacist since 2002. I didn't need that information.
She is a blond headed rude person who should never accuse people of stealing regardless of what she thinks. We are married and I have ALWAYS used THE SAME CARD and never been called a theif. She should not be in the position she's in. Never be rude to customers!

In the past few months I have had a problem with prescription being re filled. In June I had to wait 3 to 4 days to get medicine because they did not have the right number for the doctor's . In July the dentist did not have the id number on the script after many calls I did not get this filled. September I took a new script, one that had to have Dr's authorization and1 refillable received a phone call saying that these scripts could not be filled because there was a problem with my insurance and did I change carriers and they would have to contact them . If I had changed carriers I would have told them so. This is day 2 of this, if I really needed this medicine within these days I would be dead that's why I keep exrtras on hand. I am going to call my ins .Fepblu. on Mon. to see if they got a call from them. I will change pharmacies.

hours of operation/closure due to hurricane harvey
Our local walgreens has been closed for 10 days now, supposedly due to hurricane harvey. 1st - the store did not flood. Not one drop of water in the store. I know this because I live 1 block away from the front door and no one, no business, no house flooded in my neighborhood. 2nd - the store lost power for 12 hours only. Again I know this because my neighborhood only lost power for 12 hours. It has not rained or flooded anywhere near here for 8 days now, the store is still not open, and forced 100's of people to seek medicine at an alternate facility. Completely unnecessary, completely unprofessional, and the worst example of customer service I have ever encountered in my 51 years of life.
availability of personal products
Walgreen's was (I believed) my only source for "Always Discreet" pads. The Quincy MA store was convenient, and I bought pens, cards, grocery supplies and Instaflex etc. etc. also, when I was there. Just thought it fair to let the company know that since they suddenly discontinued THE BEST SANITARY PRODUCT IN OVER 60 YEARS, I found it at Rite Aide. Being somewhat disabled, I am unlikely to make a second trip to Walgreen's when I can find what I need at the other store. It is baffling to me that they discontinued such a well made product. It is so far superior to all those that are too long, too big, too thick, and have those absolutely useless and misplaced "wings!" Best wishes for making wiser decisions in the future. I'll be back when that excellent product is again on your shelf! Sincerely, K.M.C. [protected]@icloud.com
never and the business telephone
If you call community Walgreens on Stanford Street Boston Massachusetts you request to speak with the Pharmacy staff and your alway promted to voice recording which all Pharmacy staff is busy please hold. Then you on hold for 20 min or longer and no never come to you call. This is most disgusting display of healthcare. This has been going on for a couple month. My next complaint would will be to the state.

-Pharmacist Changed Prescription Quanity
-Pharmacist gave me false, misleading, unlawful information
-Walgreens shift manager explains she has recently just transfered to that store and knows this pharmacist has customer service problems. She explains that she actually herself had recently had problems with him.
-Pharmacist broke HEPAA Law. He maliciously stated personal health informaiton relating to my illiness and the medication im taking, while I was on my bluetooth speaker in the car with my children.
-Walgreen's Personnel in the Pharmacy Department have Retalitated because I filed a complaint against the Pharmacist.
-The Pharmacy Department witheald my medication from my from 8/15/2017 until they gave it to me finally on 8/24/2017. Pharmicist writes strange note on the Personal Prescription Information page that they staple on the bag they give you. The Pharmacy department states they do not keep this information.
-Pharmacy Tech extremely rude, gives me false information, makes 0% eye contact.
-Pharmacy "Loses" my prescription from the ER Department. Manager claims surveillance shows me handing the prescription to him, which he hands it to his pharmacy tech, then apparently hands it back to me (Why would the pharmacy give me my prescription back?). I get text messages showing the prescription is delayed, I have pictures from the walgreens app that shows the delayed prescription, when I go to get it on 8/24/2017, which the text message said it was ready, they cant find the prescription in the file. They call the manager, which he recalls me giving them the prescription, but they cant find it anywhere. The Pharmacy tech claims she did see a duplicate prescription in their system, but she deleted it. Tech tells me their is no way for them to pull up deleted prescriptions. The manager is standing their the whole time not understanding what happened.
-Pharmacist that I filed complaint on, came up behind me and laughed.
-I have already filed 2 complaints with Walgreens Corporate office since 8/15/2017 and I have not got any Corporate response.
Store manager agrees that this matter has been handled very poorly. Store manager can vouche for all events.
Is this for real right now!?
It all leads down to a Pharmacist that changed a prescription that caused a ripple effect. He broke a Law by disclosing my Medical Condition over the phone Maliciously just because I was asking him insurance questions (Because I needed my medication). After I reported him, he Retailiated against me along with other employees in the Pharmacy Department which he oversees as the Pharmacy Manager. The Pharmacy department is now making me suffer, as they play with my medications. This is Wrong! Its just scary that this department handles my medication, defiantly switching pharmacys soon!

racial profiling at walgreen's
(I apologize for making a complaint so late, but it is a very important complaint and the Walgreen's website wasn't easy to navigate for making complaints against staff members and employees.)

About 2 months ago I and my daughter came into this particular Walgreen's one evening to buy a few things for the house, one of these things among the merchandise was 1 1.00 (or about that amount) red nail polish that the kind, young lady in the beauty department helped me to find. I don't remember the young woman's name, but I do remember the Indian man who watched myself and my daughter walk into the Walgreen's (Raza) and didn't speak or didn't acknowledge us walking into the store (Raza was a manager at the time and when I recently came back I found out that he doesn't work there anymore.) My daughter and I had actually forgotten to get some orange juice and soda in the back of the store while the young lady was getting ready to check us out, so I told her that I and my daughter would be right back and wouldn't take too long in getting the orange juice and soda from the freezer section. It was at this moment when July (who still works there) walked up and glared at us both (my daughter and I) suspiciously as we walked to the back with our merchandise to get what we needed in order to come back and get our things checked out.
As soon as we started walking towards the back, all of a sudden we hear the intercom blasting, "Security on the floor!" A few seconds later, as my daughter and I were closing the freezer in order to get back to the beauty department, Raza ran and almost toppled over onto the floor, obviously trying to spy on us and see what my daughter and I were doing. When he saw that I looked at him, he promptly collected himself, turned around and started to "re-arrange" the popcorn or chips. I, being a 30 year old woman of African descent, know the feeling of being racially profiled and being unfairly judged as being a thief simply based on the color of my skin and the uneducated and disgusting prejudice and opinions catapulted by the media and into the minds of (in this particular instance) these two Indian-American man and woman, employees of Walgreen's.
I, with my daughter next to me, marched right up to the front and asked July was there a problem. July looked me straight in my face and stared, not saying anything. The young lady, at the beauty department, shook her head and asked July if she should ring me up. July said nothing, walked away, and then Raza came a few minutes later, watching my daughter and myself at a distance, silently.
After the young lady was finished ringing us up and I had our bags in our hands, after paying for the items, July was standing by the door, obviously waiting for the buzzer to go off as we walked through it. She was standing not far from Raza, so I got both of their names and promised her that I'd be contacting Walgreen's to make sure that these idiots who work at this particular location don't racially profile or hire prejudiced people anymore and get the training that they desperately need.
I need something to desperately happen with this situation, because this was a very unpleasant experience! This was completely unfair and wrong. This is my preferred Walgreen's location, only because this is closest to my home, and I shouldn't, nor my daughter before anything, be made to feel like we're more susceptible to being criminals because of the color of our skin.
This is not a situation where anything is being alluded to, this is a situation that happens all to often in our society, at this Walgreen's in particular, and some type of training or something needs to happen as well as a conversation needs to be had with both July and Raza. The facts are the fact.
This situation is racial profiling done on Walgreen's property by Walgreen's employees.
I need someone to contact me asap - [protected]@gmail.com.

walgreens drug
Service and rude clerk behavior. Went in to walgreens and asked for 2 prescriptions to be refilled. Pharmacist said come back in an hour. 2 hours later we went back and a male clerk said it isn't ready. We mentioned that we had been told it would only be an hour. He was very curt with us and said we have lots of people to wait on. We took our business to walgreens in clarkston where they filled them quickly and we're very accommodating. Won't do business with the one in lewiston, ID again.

I am in the middle of storm Harvey and had to be rescued! I called Walgreens to see if I can refill my 8years old who has chronic sent ME prescription filled and the lady answered and ask me for my info, and I gave it to her and she never came back and I was on hold for 3 hours! She never after the initial answer came back 2 check or ask me anything! I keep calling from different phones and they still did not try to assist or explain anything about what's going on! It's very unprofessional and I have been using Walgreens for ova 2 years! This specific Walgreens is really not my choice because of problems in the past! My son is 1 breath away from a ashtma attack now and I'm still holding and not being answered, I called 1st thing at 8! I am.very very unsatisfied
pharmacist
This is the Walgreens on Sibley and Torrence in Chicago Illinois. I need to speak to someone about how unfairly I was treated today by a man named Carl. He made me wait two hours with my 6 month old granddaughter he made me call the Dr and still refused to fill my prescription and he went back over 7 year's in my chart to justify why he wouldn't fill it. Very racist
pharmacy policy
August 26th, 2017 12:05 a.m.
I am a disabled patient who recently switched insurance providers which my pharmacy CVS of over 20yrs recently stopped accepting, I am already not a happy consumer that has to now utilize Walgreens. I went into Walgreens pharmacy around 12:05 a.m. to fill my prescription of a controlled substance and was told by the pharmacist that he would not be able to fill it until 7 a.m. which confused me due to the fact I've never experienced this from CVS, because as of 12 a.m. of the 26th of August my prescription was due to be filled. Do Walgreens feel someone who receives a controlled substance prescription is an addict or something to that effect because my pain does not stop between the hours of 12-7 a.m. This predicament strongly have me considering changing to another insurance provider and/or definitely communicating with CVS corp. to express my displeasure with Walgreens policies and the fact that CVS no longer accepts my provider which I only changed because my physician wants to perform injections and my past provider kept denying the claims. I am displeased with your policy. I feel your company somehow singles out consumers that receive a prescription of a controlled substance as an abuser when obviously CVS that happens to be your competitor does not have such a policy.
