photo department
I have been a customer of Walgreens for many years usually picked up my medicine and most of the time my photos today October 29, 2017 Sunday at exactly 5:25 pm one of the photo associate name Kristine at 1830 W 11 Street, Tracy, Ca 95376 was the one on duty I was about to pick up my photos and told her to pick my photos and she told me I can only pick one photo and I said why she said she can only give one photo she said there's a limit I told her there is no limit. I told her I will pick the photo and pictured her as soon as I pick my photo she throw all my pictures to the trash and showing it and even making faces she descriminate me in front of the customer and even embarrassed me, is this how you treat loyal customer of Walgreens hiring people who are rude and have no respect to customer . Those are my family pictures throwing them to the trash really melt my heart employees at Walgreens have no heart and very disrespectful.
service
Dear walgreen's management,
Today, oct. 29, 2017, I received a automated phone message to pu prescriptions from my local walgreen's in perinton, ny. I called back and listened to the automated message that said 1 was ready now and 2 others were in the que to be processed. I then called to speak with a pharmacist who could help me because I already had all the scripts I needed and was a month ahead at this time.
I reached brian, he said he was the pharmacy manager. He would hardly let me speak, but I asked that he hold them because I had enough for a month. I explained that my dr. Had done refills from my visit but that I was not out.
He said he only had 1, while I was trying to get a word in to say no they said 3 were coming, he hung up on me. It was on purpose, not a mistake! He did not want to listen to me anymore and it was obvious.
I called back got him on the phone and asked why he hung up on me? He said oh it was a mistake. Then why did he not call me back? I know why because it was on purpose! This is not acceptable at all. He said he was sorry and that mistakes happen. Well a good person would call back and say, I lost you on the line, correct.
I just might switch my pharmacy because I cannot stand bad customer service. I am expected to give excellent service in my work so walgreen's better do some retraining of brian!
Phone number=[protected]
Time of call was apt. 2:30pm
I expect brian to be spoken to about customer service expectations.
Sincerely,
Elaine olshansk

a very ill employee
I went to walgreen's to get a prescription filled, they had called and said it was ready for pickup. I went to the drive thou. I told her my name and date of birth, this girl acted like I had ruined her day, so hateful, she pushed my change back to me jerking the drawer back to her, not a thank you or anything she rolled her eyes, she rolled her eyes!. Don't understand what is going on everything was ready for her all she had to do give it to me and take the money? People like that doesn't need to work in a place like that walgreen's has always been a great place for all my needs and she's not going to make me stop shopping there. Thank you for listening. I am writing in to complain about the delay in care by the Walgreens pharmacy regarding obtaining glucose test strips for my patient. The patient has been waiting over 2 weeks to have his test strips renewed. When asking the walgreens staff why the delay we get answers such as, "waiting on medicare, " without clear knowledge that walgreens has called Medicare. Additional responses were " I wasn't here all week so not sure." This patient cannot check his blood sugars because of this error.
Date: 10/4-present time, patient still doesn't have strips
Who: [name removed], 70 year old male, 5/1/1947
Where: Walgreens Chadd ford PA
Please help us get the patient what he needs.

The pharmacy at this particular Walgreens location is terrible. They have about 2 people working at all times even though they are a 24 hour pharmacy and there is always an extremely long line. The people working at the pharmacy do not know what they are doing. I went to get my medicine refilled, it took an hour after them telling me it would be 15 minutes, and they gave me the wrong medicine, but of course I didn't notice until I got home because it's in a stapled bag. So the next day I went to a different and better location of Walgreens to get it fixed, but they told me that's only the store location that messed it up could fix it. Then I went to that location that messed it up in the first place to get the correct medicine, which took long over an hour and they gave me a different medicine this time, but still the wrong one again. Now I can't go back again because they refuse to do anything else with the medicine, so I am stuck without my correct medication until I can get an appointment with my specialist doctor. Not good. I will not ever be visiting this Walgreens pharmacy ever again and I will also advise others not to. Worst experience ever with a pharmacy.
flu shot
Before I blast it on Facebook, please explain why Medicare was billed $59.99 for my husband's flu shot and my private health care was billed $39.99. There couldn't have been a difference since the lady asked who was going first as she had needle in hand. Free to me doesn't mean taking advantage of Medicare--too much of that already, please explain.
mistakes
I work at a hospital that has an agreement with Walgreens and we are forced to use them and only them. Every time I have to go to see about or pick up a prescription I have a problem. It is either I wait in line for 30 minutes only to see one staff member waiting on inside and outside drive through. If that's not it, I will be given the wrong amount of pills, not because they do not have them, because its a mistake. Many times I am told a very high price for my rx because they do not enter a coupon in my records as I am told they do . It is something every time I go.
Yesterday Mistakes were made so I had to go back today, all the while this is about 20 miles from home. I did finally get someone nice that actually knows what there doing and appears to care. All I know about the clerk is the name Cort. Please let him know how much I appreciate the extra mile to help me.
Please either train, retrain or fire everyone else and shut the store down. It would be a great place for a drugstore. The store is on Sadler Road Fernandina Beach Fl. 32034

I have had numerous mistakes made on prescriptions. I always stop as soon as I leave the window to check for accuracy. They should NEVER be dispensing incorrect medication and they have done this with me at least half a dozen times. This is simply dangerous and at the very least negligent. I ask for white pills and they give me dark blue. I tell them my doctor doesn't have a fax and they need to call her. They fax to her telephone number and wonder why they don't hear back. CVS here we come.

On 9-30-17 I purchased 2 pair of Foster Grant Readers with the buy 1 - get 1 free for $17.99. They were exactly alike except one was +2.50 and one was + 2.75. When I got home and tried them out for reading neither one was strong enough for me to see the computer or read with. Today I had a chance to get back to town to pick up my prescription at Walgreens so I took the +2.50 pair and receipt with me. When I went in I asked the clerk if I could swap out that pair for ones exactly like them except with a stronger magnification and left the glasses and receipt with her. When I came back with a pair exactly like them but with a +3.25 magnification she said since the receipt showed a return value of 8.99 she would have to charge me $17.99 for the swap. I told her to forget it and wound up taking the original ones back home with me.
This is just ridiculous. No other store would have done such a thing. They would have just let me swap the pair out.
Very disappointed in Walgreens service, and may have to just switch my prescriptions to CVS.
pharmacist
I am complaining against a employee that works at the pharmacy at my neighborhood walgreen at 8770 West pico blvd in Los Angeles ca 90035 her name is Jessica, not only was she rude on the phone I spoke to her in person and she was being a total smart mouth about my rx and also when I slightly walked away I heard her laughing and speaking to a fellow worker abt my rx that I was inquiring about that is against HIPAA and is a violation I was offended and I Am a regular at my local Walgreens I believe some actions should be taken on this matter. I spoke with the manager and he was not helpful nor compassionate this happened today 10/3/2017 at 5:45pm

employee
I have been coming to this Walgreens for over a year now. Nearly everyone knows me due to going there every day. I usually buy cigarettes among other things. I am usually not asked to show my ID because almost everyone there has seen it now so many times that they know I am 34 years old. Tonight was the third time the same new employee there has asked me to not only show him my ID but to take my ID out of my wallet so he can scan it. My ID does not come out of my wallet very easily. I have done it in the past but it takes me a few minutes until I take it out and I don’t like to keep the other customers waiting. The same employee asked me for the last time, and I told him thanks but I’d rather not and I left without buying cigarettes as well as other things that I had there such as ice cream and what not. I’m not sure if that employee is just lazy or why does he insist on asking to scan my Id. I have not had this problem anywhere else. This has come to the point that I will not be buying at Walgreens anymore. Not only that, but I will also share my experience with every social media, friends, coworkers anyone who will listens, because this is not right.
foster grant reading glasses
Went to Wallgreens yesterday on 09/30/ 2017 to purchase reading glass's and saw a sign posted over the reading glass's rack that said buy pair of foster grant get one of equal or less price free. So I grabbed a pair of fosters 325 x from the $9.99 rack and another one which was suppose to be free. Got to the checkout register and explained about the special she looked it up by reading the upc stamps on the glass's she says yes you get one free than said that will be $27 and something cents I said for $9.99 glass's and one free. She says one is $17.99 the other is $24 and something cents. I told her they were both at the $9.99 rack. She tells me ther all in the wrong price rack people just put them anywhere. I told her I didn't have enough money but that I would take the cheapest one. So I payed for it and went on to work and half way ther I started thinking, she didn't give me the free one and that I would go back after work and get them. Did have time but went back today 10/01/2017 and explained to the manager he tells me you should have brought them yesterday the special ended yesterday I can't give you the free pair today. I explained I worked late and could'nt make it back. He says he can't do anything for me because the special ended. I tried to explain that if he looked at the receipt he could see the date when I got them so he would see the special was still on. He says sorry can't help you so I got a little frustrated and told him well I want to return the one I had bought just becoughs he would not give me the special like the sign said. flu shot
Saturday, September 30, 2017. Walgreens Drug Store, Anaheim, Calif. 92801. Really, JUST FOR YOUR INFORMATION. I received my flu shot for the season this morning. It costs $60.00! Don't you think that is a bit much? I do not fault the Drug Store, I just wonder about United Health paying for one flu shot, $60 dollars! I understand I did receive and more powerful dose of the medicine, I could have received one-half the medicine for $30 dollars but the double dose was recommended for my age group. Come on United Heath, just request every one of your insured clients to put down 60 dollars on the drug store pharmacist's counter and I believe you would receive the proper reaction from Americans at large!

On September 28, 2017, I originally went to Walmart to fill my prescriptions of Oxycontin and Oxycodone for pain management. I was told I could pick them up on the 28th(Oxycontin) and 29th(Oxycodone) of September. They were willing to fill the prescriptions but didn't have enough pills to fill the prescription for Oxycontin. They were willing to locate the Oxycontin locally by contacting other Walmart's and other local drug stores. They checked Walgreen's and were told I could fill the prescription there. I arrived at Walgreen's and turned in the prescription for Oxycontin. I was told I could pick the prescription up after 7:30 pm. It was presently 6:30 pm . I returned at 9 pm to pick up my prescription and was told I couldn't pick it up until the 29th of September because my last months fill date was Aug 31st. The pharmacists stated he could not fill the prescription 3 days early, but he could only fill 2 days early by law. Since my last fill date was August 31st, I would have to wait until September 29th for the Oxycontin. What he failed to acknowledge was that September only has 30 days and therefore the 28th is 2 days from the 30th. Walmart had acknowledged this and would have filled the prescription had it been in their inventory. I had to leave Walgreen's with no medication for more than a day. I have chronic pain from severe spinal stenosis where I am unable to function without the pain medication. I have had two major neck surgeries and have severe pain when not treated by pain suppressors. The stenosis has affected my gait, stamina and muscles. I have suffered for eight years. The damage to my spinal chord is permanent. On a level of 1-10, my pain was a 10! I don't know what a solution to this problem would be.

I was at walgreens tonight at the pharmacy . I was there to pick up a prescription that was suppose to be ready by 3 pm and here it was 6 pm and finally done. As I stood in line for another hour a customer handed the pharmisist a prescription. The pharmacist then told him florida law says that the prescription had to be on a no duplication paper. And he couldn't accept it. Well then the customer leans in and tells him he is a doctor . The pharmacist then left and came back and had a pad in his hand and told him he would just write it up as a call in so it wouldn't have to upset the doctor. Then told him the prescription would be filled in 3 min. And left customers stand and filled the doctors prescription for him . This was unprofessional. It was against all policy and against the law to take that prescription for him if he was a doctor then he knows the law. . And as for the customers left standing we have to abide by laws and rules. Also when you do go to this store it is a wait. While they always have a line and only 2 or 3 working this includes the pharmacist.
pharmacy procedures
I went to pick up my husband medication. The order was Gabapentin 2 tabs 3 times a day. There are refills on this medication.
I was given 30 tabs. As I was filling the pillbox I realized this can't be right and isn't enough for a month. The bottle quantity was 30. I went to tell them I think the quantity given was incorrect, and would not last 30 days. They pulled the electronic order and showed me the MD requested 30 as the quantity. Do the Pharmacist question orders sent over? This isn't a usual request with refills.. My response was "they do it all the time". I said so if its a wrong dose, frequency or etc you will fill it without question? I was very disturbed with that response and no one offered to call the MD to fix it. That's not good customer service. Obviously it was an error on the MD's part and Walgreens Pharmacy didn't offer the customer who used Walgreens very frequently assistance in getting it fixed once I told them this is a monthly refill.
survey contest
On Sep 25, 2017 I completed the survey regarding my visit to Walgreens. At the end it asked for my phone number including the area code. I was not given enough time to give more then the first 6 numbers of my number then I was cut off. This also happened to me last year and I would like to let you know you need to give more time to allow for the whole phone number. I will not be answering your survey again till this problem is resolved

I have been using Walgreens on 1131 Mercury Blvd for a long time. On 9/22/17, my doctor called in a script and when I went to pick it up, it was going to cost me $176.00. I am on a fixed income and could not afford that. When I got back home, I called the pharmacist to see if there was a different drug that would be cheaper. She said "the doctor called in a generic but I filled it with the brand because I thought your insurance would pay more." When I went back to pick up the generic, I only had to pay $43.99. What bothers me is how many times has this happened to me or someone else. My trust in this pharmacy is gone and I will be switching pharmacies.
inept pharmacy
My brother-in-law, has taken the same prescription for 20 years for his paranoid schizophrenia. His meds won't be refilled without his monthly bloodwork. 2 months ago the pharmacy tells me they can't refill his script due to missing labs. Dr sent labs, confirmed receipt, now they say they are missing again. Refuse to help, rude, Dr confirmed all ok. Switched pharmacy
