3 pharmacies in shelby, nc
We continue to have issues with walgreens recieving and filling medications from our office. Patiens complain daily of not getting their prescriptions. They state the pharmacy tells them we do not send them. In fact we do via fax and electronically. Our only other recourse is to tell the patients to leave and find a new local or cvs chain. We are able to send rx's to other walgreens in other cities and states.

Desired outcome: FIX YOUR PHARMACY SYSTEM TO BE ABLE TO RECIEVE RX'S SO PATIENTS DO NOT RUN OUT OR NOT ABLE TO GET THEIR MEDICATIONS
Covid test at walgreen pharmacy
I made online appointment for a Covid test, after answering all questions and submitting my insurance information. Arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment time. They asked me to sit and wait. First, they could not find my appointment on their computer. It took them 10 minutes to find it after I showed them my confirmation. They asked me to sit again...

What a horrible experience! The Walgreens app said my medication was ready so I went to pick it up. I was informed it was not ready and basically treated like a liar - even after I showed the app. Zizi the drive through clerk was a treat. I asked for the pharmacist there times and was not responded to. So, I called the pharmacist from the car. Let me tell...

This is the second time I’ve had a problem with the “manager-Raelyn at Paseo and San Pedro location. I can’t believe they would have this uneducated, rude, ignorant person working at this store. This manager is in charge of the deliveries - she purposely gives you a less costly buy one get one bottle if vitamins of an entirely different type of vitamins. She acts like a creepy villain in a movie! Example I bought magnesium vitamins - 29.99 they delivered a 9.99 vitamin b instead as my second buy one get one free! She said well I’ll give you 9.99 back… why? My magnesium was 29.99… but uuure returning b12 for 9,99… you sent that in error… ok where’s the rest of my 20.00 that’s missing? She said too late you signed the receipt for the refund - (she told me she had to do it this way) she is so sadly the most ignorant laughable idiot I’ve ever known. Whew!
Desired outcome: I want my 20.00 back and a class action lawsuit for all of the buy one get one free orders that were ripped off in America. I want this idiot fired,
Pharmacy US 19, Port Richey Florida
I have been having the same medication filled at Walgreens for the last 12 years. I am fortunate to own two homes, one in jacksonville and the other in Port Richey Florida. My primary residence was in jacksonville and the other was purchased as a vacation home. I retired a couple years ago and spend 80% more time at my vacation home. I’ve had the same primary care doctor for 20 plus years. This doctor is in Jacksonville, I have no desire to see any other doctor. He manages my health care wonderfully. He makes sure I get labs, mammogram, flu shots etc. First issue with their pharmacy was I could not have my prescriptions filled at two locations, only one pharmacy. Now they are telling me I have to change my primary doctor to someone in this area or they will no longer accept prescriptions from my current primary doctor in Jacksonville. I think this new rule is ridiculous and I hope they lose hundreds of thousands of dollars by creating it. I DO NOT plan on changing my primary care doctor. I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS TO ANOTHER PHARMACY ALONG WITH ALL THE MONEY I SPENT IN THEIR STORE WHILE PICKING UP MY PRESCRIPTIONS! This change will be inconvenient but I will never shop there again! WALGREENS SUCK!
Desired outcome: I’d appreciate a response. Walgreens should not dictate who my primary care doctor is located under these circumstances. I hope they lose so many pharmacy customers and their business that they go bankrupt!!!!
The pharmacy dispenses the incorrect dosage of medication to the patient, in addition to six other problems.
Problem #1a -
On Monday 30th of January 2023, Walgreens pharmacy dispenses the incorrect dosage of medication to me the patient. Required was Prempro 03. mg/1.5mg, what was dispensed was Prempro 0.625 mg/5 mg. There were three boxes to tallying approximately $600.00.
To fix the issue I request that they expiated the correct dosage and have it in store today the 1st of February 2023.
Other issues associated with this Quality Assurance Fail are:
Problem #2a -
On Tuesday, 31st of Jan 2023 - 1st Attempt to return it. Just before Walgreens 1 hour lunch break the car que was 5 long at the window. Solution take staggered lunch breaks so the drive through window remains open and basic customer service is available.
Problem #3a -
01 Feb 2023 - Spoke to a person at the drive through window. Male was rude. No apologies for negligence or for my time that was wasted on Mon and Tue, told me to come inside and speak to the pharmacist. He did not ask, did not say please. I park the car walk through the rain to be told the very same thing that I was told at the window. They don't have it and I have to wait until they phone the doctor who prescribed it and check with central distribution center.
Problem #4a -
I go to the front counter and ask for the Manager Name and email to write a compliant. It cannot be provided. Female walks off to talk to another employee. Male employee states, there is no Manager, only an overseer Manager who owns her own store, named Tiffany (no last name, no email).
Two Pharmacy Manager Names are given Tad Hamlin and Michal Bach, again no email address given.
Problem #5a
I had additional grief trying to place the order the week prior.
24 Jan 2023 - by phone call
27 Jan 2023 - husband going to visit store on my behalf.
29 Jan 2023 - by phone call (again)
Problem #6a
The local doctors' offices and hospitals cannot easily identify this specific Walgreens in their lists. The address is incomplete, not referencing the corner, or Corbitt Rd, or the suburb. (Katy or Fulshear?)
Problem #7a
Google Maps does not have a complete address, also not referencing the corner, or Corbitt Rd, or the suburb, (Katy or Fulshear?)
Solutions
#1a Quality Assurance checks implemented on medication dispensed. #2a Staggered lunch breaks so customer service is maintained during hours of operation. #3a Yearly accreditation in politeness and customer service. #4a & #4b Employ a manager, and the managers name, phone number, email address and photo displayed at the front counter of both Pharmacy and Retail, with a statement in accountability and service.
#5a Train the staff to coordinate and log phone calls and text messages for incoming prescription refills and log their name next to it on the computer. #6a Correct the address with ALL local hospitals, urgent care facilities and doctors' offices. #7a Correct Google Maps
Desired outcome: See above solutions numbered #1 through to #7
Stockings
It would be really nice if the Walgreens located at 1617 John F Kennedy BLVD, Philadelphia, PA, 19103 was a little more diverse. On the morning of February 1, 2023 I went into the location to purchase a pair of off black or jet-black stockings. The site had all nude, 1 pair of size B black, and 1 pack of knee-highs off black, and a few pairs of footless tights that you wear with a tunic and boots, not a dress and pumps. There are plenty of African American ladies that work in center city and it would be nice to be able to go to the nearest store to purchase stocking that compliments your skin tone.
Desired outcome: I would like to see a better selection of stocking for all skin tones and not catered to one race.
Pharmacist
I have MedicareRX Walgreens and the pharmacist at my Walgreens refuses to fill a prescription if the drug is not on the approved pay list. He won’t let me pay full price he just refuses to fill it. He wants my Dr to fill out a form the Dr won’t do that. I just want to pay full price on any medication that is not on the list, it’s not the pharmacist job to...

On Monday, January 30, 2023, at 1:15 p.m. I went to Walgreen on 597 Washington Ave in Belleville, NJ, to purchase an Amazon Gift Card for $500.00. Amazon SQD INK ICNS VGC $25-$500, [protected], 500.00. I give the store person cash to put on the card. She gave me two receives, one that said it was ELECTRONIC CARD ACTIVATION, and the other was a regular one that said I gave her $500.00 in cash WITH THE TICKET NUMBER [protected]. I got home and scratched out the card to get the claim code. As I did that, I decided to check my Amazon account, and I did not authorize any transfer to my Amazon account. As I looked carefully, I saw that it said. Unfortunately, this gift card has already been applied to another account. I was upset and called Amazon, and they told me that the money was never put into my card and was not activated correctly. And that I should go back to the store and let them know. So I went back to the store, and there I spoke to someone, and she told me the Manager was not there, and he had left at 5 p.m. Then she said to come back tomorrow for the Manager could fix the problem. I hope and pray that the Manager can set it so I can get my refund. Thank you, my email is [protected]@yahoo.com.
Prescription/medications
January 21 2023
A pickup at the pharmacy department.
Staff ask for my name - my name was given
Staff ask for address - my address was given
Staff pull my prescription.
Staff announce all my information to the customers behind me and the complete store. The name of my prescription were also announced.
Customer before me had complete privacy of his name and prescription.
Why did the staff felt it was right to tell everyone what my prescription were, my name and my address.🤨🤨🤨 I am not satisfied at all with the unprofessional behavior? No one needs to know what I came to pick up and the cost of it. My voice was lower than normal, hoping the staff would also lower its voice
Desired outcome: I would like response back from your investigation or speak to the staff of training and PRIVACY of customers.. THRRE IS no reason to disclose ANYONE INFORMATION to the public.
My comment is unprofessional customer service
COVID 19 bivalent booster
After looking up on the CDC site that I was eligible for a bivalent booster 2 months or more after the last one (which was 9/21/2022), I made an appointment for today 1/21/2023 at Duane Reade 14194, appointment confirmation attached. The pharmacist Hemant Patel refused to administer it despite my telling him I was visiting my immuno-compromised sister next month.
Desired outcome: Your company gave me an appointment for a service I was denied. Either reprimand the pharmacist or fix the website's vaccine appointment process because it fails to coordinate with the pharmacies delivering the service.
Mistakes, lack of communication & responsibility
I have dates, times, receipts and phone calls from myself, my doctor's office and my insurance company about these issues.
Multiple times there have been issues with medications and refills, as well as how Walgreens is billing insurance. They input scripts wrong and then don't know why refills don't go through and want the patient to pay our of pocket (especially troublesome when they're no longer ping to accept prescription discount cards). They have cost me hundreds of dollars and ny insurance company cannot figure out why they are noy running scripts correctly. In the last week I have had scripts canceled with no explanation (by Walgreens), filled with the incorrect quantity (when my doctor's office called they couldn't explain the discrepancy, literally saying "I don't know."
Today I was on hold for two hours. For the first 90 minutes I was getting updates on what caller I was and there was one caller ahead of me. During this time, my daughter and husband both tried calling and they had three or more callers ahead. So I continue waiting. I ask my daughter to try again and she tells me that she received the message the pharmacy is closed. It's 4:30pm on a weekday; their hours are 9a-9p. I use her phone to get ahold of a store clerk and ask. She tells me the pharmacy closed and will remain closed for the remainder of the day. I don't even know he this happens.
They knew they had customers on hold. I would've waited even longer if I hadn't called using another phone.
It's unfortunate because a couple of the technicians and one of the pharmacists have been very kind and more helpful than most - when you can actually reach someone.
I've never had such poor customer service and lack of caring. I had major back surgery and am prescribed muscle relaxers to help. They submitted information to my insurance company incorrectly saying I received a 30 day supply, when I only received 10 days. They billed insurance for 90 day supply of my husband's medication when they only provided 30 day. We had paid for the 90 day supply as well.
We would have switched to a different location or pharmacy, but the options in a smaller city are much less. In addition, their app and website are no use. The functionality is abysmal considering how big their company is.
We understand that things happen, mistakes ate made, we're all human, but this has been a complete and utter crap show they have failed themselves, their customers and patients. Thank heaven these meds are not for life threatening medical issues. Walgreens needs an overhaul.
Desired outcome: An apology, reimbursement, communication training. I shouldnt have to do their jobs by confirming correct insurance submission. They have had s breakdown and have gone downhill so hard so fast.
Employee gutter-talk
Hello,
I was shopping with seven year old daughter at the Walgreens in San Anselmo, CA. January 19th at 1:15 PM as we heard three loud female employees two behind the counter one up at the counter where you pay at all complaining and cussing profusely about the Walgreens company and the schedules and the shifts they were expected to work at your store.
We are a devoted Christian family with values reflecting that, hearing this was like putting poison in our ears, I don't want my daughter to grow up having to listen to this kind of gutter talk, my husband and I don't talk like that. All three need to be fired! We'll be taking our business to CVS now. I feel the quality of Walgreens has gone WAY down hill, especially in this store.
Signed a thoroughly disgusted customer!
Desired outcome: What do you intend to do, I need to know?
Walgreens Pharmacy Newhall, CA. price gouging
Yesterday there was an issue with my RX Insurance. So I told Walgreens Pharmacy I would pay cash for my usual RX Atenolol 25 mg. 90 supply. I was shocked when Walgreens charged me $38.99. So today I found an independent Pharmacy in Santa Clarita, Ca. that charges $15 for the same RX without Insurance. As a result I won't ever do business with Walgreens in the future because they are price gouging.
Desired outcome: I would like an adjustment to the price I paid Walgreens for RX
Photo dept.
I'd like to know why in hell is this platform here, seeing that no one from the corporate office seems to give a damn about the complaints posted! I have submitted both a written & a verbal complaint about the rude and lazy employees in the photo dept at this particular store within three weeks, and have yet to receive a response from corporate? Due to the location of the store, and the demographics of the population surrounding the store, it is only a matter of a short time when one of these lazy, smart mouthed employees will piss off the wrong person, and serious consequences will result! A shake up in the photo dept, and management is badly, and quickly needed! Someone seriously needs to look into this, because we're living in a totally different world than just a mere five years ago! The signs of problems are often obvious, and are often resolvable, but they are often ignored until newsworthy results occur!
Desired outcome: Resolve the problem a.s.a.p., and I'll see the results when into the store and see the photo machine working, and the attitude of the employees changed! I'll also accept an email response that the problem has been resolved.
Customer service
While picking up a prescription for my daughter at the Walgreens Tiger Point location in Gulfbreeze Florida around 10:30 on Saturday morning on 01/14/23, i was asked by the employee of the drive through to repeat my current address. I informed the employee via speaker that i did not wish for anyone in the lobby to hear it and that the one on the driver license was the correct address. The employee took it upon themselves to step back from the glass and loudly announce the address apparently thinking this was both amusing and wise. My concern here is for someone either being a pedophile and collecting the information or being involved with a sex trafficking ring collecting this information for later use. My daughter is always with me in thy vehicle since i am a single parent and she is a child and as any customers with working vision knows you are able to see into vehicles from the inside as well as clearly hear phone numbers and personal information. I found no amusement in what i view as the walgreens employee possibly putting my child at risk in this careless and self amusing, disrespectful act.

Walgreens Pharmacy at 40420 MURRIETA HOT SPRINGS RD Murrieta, CA 92563 Phone: [protected]
Discriminatory, very selective of customers, rude, lied to corp[orate when I had them on the phone while there. This location needs to disbanded and put in a real world work situation. I hold them 100% responsible for escalated sickness level and inconvenience of over 3 hours I could have been recuperating!
Desired outcome: Compensation

1/14/2023 Walgreens in Durango, CO (28 Town Plaza, Durango, CO 81301) has been short on pharmacists for some time. I am T1 diabetic and put my prescription in early. I take Farxiga and they don't keep it in stock. I have this filled every 30 days but it's usually at least a week late. I asked the cashier to pay $5 cash for 12.23 for two packs of cigarettes out of $20 and the rest by my card. He didn't listen and gave me Change $7:77. After calling the manager he refused to cancel the transaction and repet it as I wanted and asked me to leave.
