Folio # 17360F21 Dates 8/31/2023-9/3/2023 Reservation Sharon Miller
Reservation made with understanding a 90 minute resort tour was required. Scheduled tour time-2pm. Staff informed, on our arrival to tour, that our 8 year old Autistic grandson would be with us. We were offered a light lunch, that my grandson would not take advantage of because his condition greatly affects food choices. We continued tour. Guide was very pleasant. We attempted to let our grandson play in designated play room. However, no other children were there. The room did not give off a fun vibe at the time we were there. We continued tour with our grandson with us. At three-thirty we were still sitting in the same place . I nicely hinted that we would like to see the resort. We were told soon. we continued to sit. At 4 PM my grandson whispered to me he needed to eat. At this time, my husband ask the guide could we please see the resort. At 4Pm we finally got to move and start seeing resort. I shared with the the guide that i really needed to feed my grandson. She said it wouldnt be long. i again told him to just hang on .At 530, we were taken to another area to discuss price.I went to rest room and ordered a pizza to be delived to lobby. At this point, my and husband and i were both extremely irritatedFinally, at 6pm, my husband got up took my grandson and left. We were in the tour for 4 hours and made to feel guilty when we said enough. We missed the entire day. When we finally got out it was time for dinner and my grandson got no sun or fun. We felt the requirements were told when making reservation was extremely misleading. we also feel your staff should be educated on special needs guest
Desired outcome: We would like three days at the resort without the tour
