customer service representative, john gaskins
I have been waiting for my door to get installed for over 2 months. During that time I contacted John Gaskins twice, one time to ask about my door and the other time I was returning back his call. i was scheduled for intalluon twice, the first time he called saying the installation team couldn't finish a job and they had to return back so I got rescheduled. The team showed up on the scheduled day, which hadn't been confirmed ( never received a call to confirm my appt). During the installation, I had to call John Gaskins and that was the worst ever. He flipped and started screaming and yelling and saying my door job had been a pain and I had been a horrible customer who called to ask about the installation many times. I reached out to the manger who was speechless that I got treated in such a manner.
How come a person who is supposed to be a reflection to the company to treat a customer in such demeaning and disrespectful manner?!
bay window replacement
On March 22, 2017, I purchased a bay window to replace the bay I had. First I was told if I wanted a color other than black for the shingles I would have to purchase them myself. I asked if they would give me a credit since I was being charged and he said no. At that time I liked the window and thought Ok and still went ahead with the order. For the window, I had the wood on the frame stained by them and I was told it would take a few weeks. Again ok with that. The apt was scheduled. When they scheduled I questioned about the shingles again and was told to go ahead and buy them give my receipt to the installer when they came and they will credit me. That never happened. The day before the apt I was called and said the window did not make it on the truck on Friday. Appointment was scheduled for a Tuesday, I was called on Monday. Of course I had to arrange a schedule with my employer so I could be there and now I had to reschedule. Appointment rescheduled. Installers came, frame around the window not the correct size had to order another frame. Window was still installed however missing bottom of frame, could see all the nails. What was installed thewindo edges did not match etc. Also there are holes in my plaster. The installer told me that I would not be charged the total balance I owed (it was due upon completion ) they were only charging the balance minus the amount for the shingles and 200.00 since work not complete. Received my bill from credit card and they charged the entire amount. After the installer left I talked to the office again and sent pictures . Another apt was scheduled. When this installer came told me they order the incorrect size again. I pointed out to him all the issues on the window and he said when he came back he would take care of everything. He also said he wished he would have had pictures of this and he would have told them what to order. I did let him know I sent them. I have yet to hear from Window World on this last issue.
I find them very poor in recognizing how bad this situation is. It has been 3 1/2 months I am being charged for an incomplete product and no contact from Window World other than scheduling . Yet they claim they "stand on their windows"
1st it took 3 months to get around to do siding. The workmen went at my house with a pry bar, braking electric out lets and lawn sprinkler control box. There are gaps in the siding, did not caulk anything, they routed a water drain off to flow behind the siding. Please, please, stay away from these people. Try to complain customer service sucks.
I has windows and doors installed. One of the outside doors is defective. It has a shade in the window and it is crooked. Need to be replaced. I have called and the number I have is now someone else's number. So I am unable to contact anyone.
windows not energy star
Purchased 9 slider windows fall 2014. Dec 2014 it got below 19 degrees. Ice froze to the glass on the bottom of all windows going from the center over to the walls. I called Window World and they sent the sales person that told me I had high humidity. I bought that. In Feb. the problem became worse. In Cincinnati Ohio, our winters are wet and cold. Not dry and freezing. So the outside humidity is usually high. I complained and had many reps come to my home. They agreed that I had issues. It was decided I needed new sashes.
The sashes were replace with the same manufactured sashes as before. The problem repeated itself through the 2015 winter. I complained and finally the owner agreed that the windows were possibly not manufactured correctly and the installation was not done correctly. No foam insulation or cold barriers were used. New windows were finally installed Oct. 2016.
Problem repeats again. I can see day light between the sliding window sashes. I can take the inside of a ball point pen and go from the inside to the outside of my windows. These windows are not air tight -- right? If a pen goes through then logic tells me air and humidity does as well. I had a professional test the windows with his thermal imaging camera. It proved my point. Window World will not return my money.
In winter 2016 one of the reps agreed that I had air coming in through where the sashes meet. He applied sponge thermal tape saying they would fix the problem. Since there is no answer, they refuse to help me.
Would love to send you the report with thermal images of heat loss and trapped humidity between inside and outside walls 1 foot around window is so high and as you go farther from window the humidity reading drops between drywall and outside T 11 wood siding. This report also shows the holes. I had an HVAC professional come and check my oil furnace for humidity leak. There was none. Actually the inspector told me the air coming from the furnace was too dry. If my windows didn't leak I would need a humidifier or I would have nose bleeds. Well, I did before 2014.
These windows cannot be energy star. My shades move when the wind blows. Water comes in when it rains. I might as well be living in a tent.
I should have left the old windows in. Very sorry to have trusted Window World. I don't know what Window World thinks I am after, or why I am wasting all of my time with this senseless battle. What do I have to gain by complaining unless I have a real problem.
I want my money back
window installation
The Window World installers damaged both the drywall and exterior stucco finish of my home here in northern Arizona. I called to politely explain my dissatisfaction and received a lot of double-talk from the office secretary.
During the installation I witnesses the window installer holding a scrap of two-by-four held against the new replacement frame while the other installer pounded the two-by-four with a hammer in an effort to force the window into the window opening. When I asked the lead installer why so much force was required to get the window into the open he replied "don't worry about it!" Who knows how long the seals on our new windows will last after being subjected to this kind of treatment.
Whenever I am asked if I like the new windows I explain allowing Window World to install new windows in your home is a bad idea.
windows and garage doors for my rentals in sayre, pa
I've stopped at the Window World in Hughesville on two separate occasions this month to find out more about your products for 3 rental properties I have. I called the number and was informed this was the closest store. The first time I walked in and stood for roughly 10-15 minutes with no help. An older lady and a younger shorter man stood smoking and laughing in the back room where they keep the windows. 3 days later I come back in and there wasn't anyone there. I hollered several times and left. This store needs to get with the program. I drove over an hour to see your product in person and both times was a wasted trip. I'll go elsewhere!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
the caulking used has black mold on all windows
We chose Window World to do our replacement windows because of their reputation. Thirteen windows where installed in September of 2015. We noticed in August 2016 that all the caulking had turned black. We tried to clean with all type of cleaners but to no change. We notified Window World and they sent a person out to inspect. His name was Randy. He made pictures and told us that the company had made a change to the caulking used today. My wife (Mary Lou) was with the installer when the windows where installed. She remembers (Rocky) ran out of caulking on the 1st window and made a comment (I guess I can use this caulking) which leads us to believe they used a caulking that did have mold protection.
Window world did not call us back. I did a follow up and they said they would not do anything about the problem. After talking to the salesman (Don Clark), Don talked to one of the owners and they agreed to replace the caulking. When the installer showed up to do something about the caulking, he called the office and installation manager said they would not replace the caulking. He said our contract does not take care of mold. He was suppose to send me a copy of this. Our contract we signed does not say anything to this. I have pictures I can send to you. The salesman is suppose to talk to one of the owners. I have sent him two messages. If I do not get this resolved. I plan on small claims court, facebook, claim with the Nashville codes for poor workmanship, and visit the completion.
One Word... "KILZ"
KILZ (Original) is an oil-based sealer, primer and stainblocker. Instantly covers mold on caulk. Available in different pigments, we used the white pigmented product on our Windows World "black moldy caulk" and are thrilled with the immediate results. Takes only 5 minutes per window. Use on a calm day or else spend the time to mask. **REMOVE SCREENS** first.
KILZ is manufactured by MasterChem Industries, 3135 Old Highway M, Imperial, MO [protected]. 1-866-PRIMER-1
Thanks. I really hope this works! My windows look like crap.
Very same thing happened to me. I live in Palmetto Florida and have been trying to get Window World of Southwest Sarasota to replace my caulk. Basically the answer has been, you live in Florida and there is mold.
Here is what I found out about the caulk they used, it was not up the code. Thankfully a Sherwin Williams rep gave me this information:
The Florida State Building Code changed with an effective date of June 30, 2015.
Below is excerpt from the code referring to (caulking) or sealants.
Section:
"5.4.4 Sealant Performance Specifications Gunnable sealants shall comply with
AAMA 808.3 per AAMA 800 Section 1.4 or ASTM C920 Class 25 Grade NS or greater
for proper joint expansion and contraction..."
What this means, all exterior penetrations in buildings are required to have at minimum,
the following caulks or sealants (or equal);
Loxon S1
Loxon H1
Loxon 2ns
WL Silicones
SherMax, WL ProMAX 300 & MaxFlex
No longer will we be in compliance by using 850, 950 or PowerHouse caulking for any
EXTERIOR applications.
These are minimum requirements of the Florida Building Code. If you need a copy of the spec, click the link below.
https://floridabuilding.org/c/default.aspx
850, 950, PowerHouse caulking is still ok to use on interior joints and window / doors.
This is a very important change. Please let me know of any questions.
I am attaching a picture of one of the windows taken 09Mar2017. Now all the caulk around all the windows, except of one, is Black. This a second home and will returning 02Nov2019 and I am sure I will have a mess to clean.
windows and storm door
Good Lord where do I begin? I had my windows installed in September 2016. After the men where finished..I walked around the house, and they did not caulk the outside of my windows...There was a hole in my siding, and scratches and a few dents. They did not over extend my windows and they looked bad. So, I called the office, and it was a huge deal to have them come out. Even my salesman called and asked what was up? I told him, and he came out to my house, and agreed that there was no caulk. They sent the guys out again. Now, I have gaps in my windows, my picture window is bowed...and my new storm door broke. So I filed a dispute with Wells Fargo Retail Services. The owners grandson came out and the sales manager..Oh, they are getting the best installer...to come out and fix things. Fix things he did indeed did not do! My door jam is ruined, my door is not hung still correctly, The installer used touch up paint on the front of my house, and the back...and guess what? it is the wrong color! ALL OVER THE BACK OF MY HOUSE..Paint 360 told me YES..you can match the color..but..my siding is old, and the paint, ..and you will be able to tell a difference. The whole house needs painting now. Getting that estimate and filing it in small claims Thursday. Called my rep at Wells Fargo and left him 5 messages. And still...Window World wants to come back out. Nope. you had your chance..You blew that one! You even sent a installer who told me that he does not even work for the company! REALLY? WORKING ON MY HOUSE AND HE DOES NOT WORK FOR THE COMPANY, OR NOT EVEN SUB CONTRACTED BY YOUR COMPANY? I am going for a buy back. They will never touch my home again. And, if they think about suing me..Bring It On! I have a man that owns Seagate Home Inspection Coming Out Tomorrow at 4...He does legal disputes with Dixon and Hayes...So At least he will help also in this matter. Just livid...
Replacement windows
We had a salesman come to our house in the summer of 2016 to give us a quote. I truly believe when he saw I was a woman making the decision alone, he knew he could pull a fast one and led me to believe I was getting the 7 windows that I showed him & he measured. Instead, he only listed 6 on the quote & I unfortunately didn't notice. The installers showed up 2 hours late with only 6 windows saying that they don't even have the type of window that the 7th one was supposed to be. When my husband spoke with the salesman he told him I misunderstood him but that he could get that window for $1200. When my husband called the corporate office, although they were very nice, they said he had to speak to the franchise owner. He received a complete runaround trying to reach him & only received a rude call from him when he called corporate again! When he told the owner what price the salesman quoted him, he said there was no way they could do it for that price. Obviously this salesman tries to sandbag his customers every chance he gets. Probably the worst experience we've ever had dealing with any home improvement project!
storm door install
It has been 15 months since we had our windows and storm door installed. The windows are great. The storm door not so much. First of all the door is not as described in the brochure. The door is cheaply made and not as good of quality as the door i have from Lowes. Secondly my storm door is still not properly installed. After 7 trips for them to complete and fix the issues and 3 different installers the door is missing a frame leg. (That's the part where it should latch.) I've even driven an hour and half to Clarksville to meet with the owner. All they wanna do is to continue to say they will fix it. They have put several holes in my house that will require me to have the opening rewrapped with metal siding. I have 2 door slabs and 3 different handles from their attempts to fix it. I spoke with the owner Mr. Hooper on the phone who basically said they would continue to try to fix the issue but a refund is not going to happen. He stated " its been over a year. Why would I refund your money". Even though I have stayed in contact with them and their contractors. He even stated " I only make $35 on storm doors and I have bought you 2 already"! I explained that I have had to take 7 days off from work for them to continue to try to fix issues. I requested the corporate number and he said he didn't have it to google it. After awhile he gave me the number but stated " they wont be able to help you". Well he was right. The corporate office had me speak with their customer relations person who told me all they could do was call the owner and speak with him. Thankfully I documented everything they did, when they were here, and the damage created by their attempts to fix the storm door. Including when it was non functioning and wouldnt latch and would swing in the wind if i didnt prop something against it. So if you need window or doors I suggest you look elsewhere! The owner is young and unprofessional. Their customer service is seriously lacking and if you have an issue you have little recourse except to let them continue to damage your property in an attempt to fix your issues. I will be filling a complaint with the better business bureau and will attempt to recoup the $500 the door cost and damages in small claims court. So save your time and use a different company please!
making an appointment but never showing up
Tuesday, August 16 was supposed to be the day a person was to give me an estimate for some windows. The appointment was for 6:30 PM. I got a call from a lady at 6:45 telling me that she was running late and would arrive about 7:10. At approximately 7:30 I called her to see where she was only to get a recording, I asked her to call me. I called again about 9:00 to see what happened and once again got the recording. I called your office in Wausau, WI on the 18th and once again heard a recording but have never been contacted by anyone with your company. We are located about an hour and a half away from Wausau but you advertise in the area. Is this the normal customer service you provide?
Customer Service/Paid for Services not received
Contracted with Window World Roanoke, Va to install windows and siding on home...old siding to be removed and hauled away(as per stated contract) well the contractor(Crowe Services) came and nailed new 7/16 OSB board over existing siding(we were charged $3350.00) for services not preformed upon asking CroweServices was told he had been doing this for over 20 years and this is how they do it!...as well as paying for something not done this additional exterior wall thickness has caused major water issues in the home(not livable at current time). I have filed complaint ID [protected] with BBB in Salem, Va but Window World claimed I wanted a new roof(which is not true) it has since been closed by the BBB but I do feel we need to be reimbursed the fee for removal and hauling away the old exterior(as I stated earlier this was not done) as well as the finance charges associated with said $3350.00 charge
Window World may off good pricing but be warned they fail completely when it come to customer service(complaints, returning calls, contractors) it is a shame since they do carry quality products(their manufacturers are probably aware but do not care) remember once they get your money do not expect any help from Window World
window install
Where do I start! The entire project has been horrible. First of all this all started back in March, and here we are in July and still project not complete. Two of the windows were measured incorrectly for the "hurricane plywood", and of course those two windows were "odd size" so plywood isn't going to be able to be used, you have to upgrade to the diamond cover!
Communication is so very poor, it is unbelievable. The project manager did receive any communication from the sales person, so dates were messed up, they never called to confirm with the homeowner when they were going to be here, so guess what, we went to work only to get a phone call when they arrived that guess what, "we are here to install but no one is home"!
My house was such a mess after they installed, they left all the dust, plastic shavings in the window sills, it was horrible. I have never had contractors NOT clean up the mess they make.
Then when they finally come to install the plywood, the cost on the paper was double from what I was told by the sales person, and there was a $900 plus balance owed, not sure where that came from as I financed the entire project...
This was one of the worst contract jobs I have ever dealt with. I plan on calling their corporate office or district manager today. We are even thinking to have them come and pull the windows out and go to a Home Depot that I am sure will be more professional and do a much better job...That is how dissatisfied we are with them.
siding/vent/door installation and customer service
Worst customer service I have ever experienced, ridiculous amount of mistakes and poor unaccountable management! We were looking for just new siding for our recently purchased house, but were also talked into a new front door and soffit vents surrounding the home by our sales rep Cameron, who was great! We signed the contract back in the first week of April. We were told that it would be about 3 weeks for the materials to come in and that it would take about 2-5 days to complete the installation depending on weather.
Receiving materials:
We were called on two different occasions in May and informed that our windows were in and ready to be installed, which we then had to inform them that we didn’t order any windows, just to be told that they made a mistake and our materials weren’t in yet. After several angry phone calls, we were told in the beginning of June that our materials should be coming in soon but that they wouldn’t be able to “fit us in” for installation for several weeks. Completely unacceptable. After more angry phone calls, they agreed to fit us in sooner and told us they would be delivering the materials on a particular mid-week work-day and that we would need to be there the next day [also a work-day] for the door installation. My husband had to juggle many things around to get the first installation day off from work so he would be here for the door installation. The delivery day came along and the company did not call us until that afternoon informing us that they actually decided not to deliver any of the materials, and thus would not be starting the next day and not until sometime the next week. Extremely unprofessional.
Installation:
Finally the materials were delivered on Friday June 17th and we were told that we had booked Saturday June 18th through the beginning of the next week for installation. Everything went well on Saturday during the tear-down process [except they left nails all over our yard and dust all over the back porch] and then Sunday came around and they didn’t even show up. On Monday they put up the siding on the back of the house and the soffit vents but didn’t even wrap the underlying wood on the front. For a section of siding the workers hit through the wall and we now have cracks on the inside of the house and small sections of the drywall broken off. Upon inspection, the siding was the completely wrong color, we ordered Tuscan Clay and they put up Monterey Sand. Then for the vents they had actually only nailed the soffit vents directly onto the existing wood. We called to complain yet again and our sales rep.’s manager, Henry Valle, called us back and had the nerve to tell us that it was not their responsibility because it is their protocol to only nail vents to existing material unless we tell them otherwise. The only reason we splurged for the vents was because we were told that it was standard for them to remove all the wood and then replace with the soffit vents to maximize ventilation, so someone is lying. The manager informed us that either way they wouldn’t remove the entire wood, but they would remove the soffit vents, drill holes in the existing wood, and then reinstall the soffit vents and would send us pictures of each side of the house during this process since we wouldn’t be able to visually confirm they went back to drill the holes since we’d be at work. In addition, the manager ensured us that the workers would wrap the front of the house first thing Tuesday morning because it was calling for storms that afternoon. I go home Tuesday afternoon and the workers were once again a no show and the front of the house still only has the wood showing, which is now completely wet from the storm so hopefully it won’t mold! The workers also broke a window in our driveway so now we can’t park in it because there are chunks of glass everywhere.
Work Completion/Payment:
Eventually all the work was completed on the 29th [wrong color and all] and we were offered a 1.8% discount for the inconveniences ONLY if we decided to keep the incorrect siding, or they would offer no discount to replace with the correct color siding but it would take up to 6 months for the replacement. Pathetic. They then tried to offer a higher discount if we agreed to let them remove the lifetime guarantee on the products [which is promised to every customer on every product] so they wouldn’t have to deal with us or most likely their poor product/installation in the future. After more negotiation they finally splurged and agreed to give us a 5% discount and we kept the guarantee! WOW! We told them that we were willing to sign the final contract agreeing that the work was completed properly with the 5% discount once we received the promised photos of the proper soffit vent/venting holes. However, as of Thursday June 30 we were still not provided any photo proof which we were promised from the side or the back of the house showing that they removed the soffits, added the venting holes, and reinstalled the soffits, which was completed a week prior. The manager then began to bully and guilt us into signing the final contract without the necessary photo proof saying how him not being able to provide us the proof we had both agreed upon should not delay us paying them, that we should have empathy for the workers and their families, that he had fought to get us a great discount [?!?], and that we should be able to take the manager at his word…. because it had been so trustworthy up to that point! A day later when we still hadn’t signed the contract the manager finally admitted that they didn’t take any photos of the side and rear soffits where they promised to remove, drill holes and replace. Which most likely means that it didn’t actually happen. In addition, this whole time we had repeatedly asked to talk with the owner Greg due to the managers poor customer service, and as of July 6, he still hasn’t called us.
As I said, worst customer service!
poor customer service
I had used Window World for a house I owned in 2009 with great results. I recently sold that house and moved into a new one (early 2016) that needed new windows and went with Window World since I had a nice experience with them previously. Ugh, big mistake. The actual windows themselves are fine, but the service was so horrible it would have been comical if I didn't have to deal with the results and the continual follow up in an attempt to fix my issues. First off the sales person made a mistake on the order and I ended up with only one privacy frosted window when I actually ordered two privacy frosted windows. I tried to remedy this issue, but really I didn't want them to remove the clear window and install a frosted window because they had caused property damage with other windows and I didn't want to risk more damage. Also the company refused to acknowledge the mistake, they explained to me how I had "changed my mind" or maybe my husband changed the order (I'm not married, I was the only one dealing with the company, and my name was the only name on the documents). I also didn't want to wait another 7 weeks to have a new window manufactured and invite not so great characters into my home for yet another uncomfortable installation. There were two guys that came to remove/install the windows, one guy was okay but missing most of the day because he was at home improvement stores looking for tiles to replace the ones that were broken when removing my old patio door to install the new one. The other guy was swearing and yelling and just generally making comments about how unhappy he was about doing this work - how uncomfortable and potentially dangerous! When I brought this up to manager he said that he knows the guys on my job and they never use that kind of language, but he's not saying he doesn't believe me. Sure. I'm not even sure they know who they send out on the jobs anyway because my form had whiteout over the installer's name with a name written over it, but that name wasn't the name of either of the guys that were there! As soon as they had left after the installation I knew I would need to call someone to come back because the caulking was done in a rush and had huge gaps that should have been filled. I didn't feel comfortable bringing it up at the time because the one guy seemed so angry and potentially dangerous. When I called and asked for someone different to be sent out to re-do the caulking (and air my other complaints), they did not seem to think any of my issues were valid, did not provide me with solutions, and they sent the same guy from the installation. Even the second time around the guy still missed spots in the caulking and was in an incredible hurry. It's hard to get anything done when the company just doesn't want to acknowledge any issues. Hopefully I don't have to use the life-time warranty for any reason, I can only imagine they fight I'd have to go through to get warranty service.
service
Don't waste your time with these people. I contracted for installation of windows and paid more than half up front. When they came to install them they wanted $100 more a window for install. When I refused they left the windows and left. They won't take back the windows and give me a refund. They did finally offer to install them at the 1st agreed upon price but after seeing the product and their install crew I don't feel good about either. SO STAY AWAY AND REMEMBER YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Unless you deal with Window World then you don't even get that.
damages windows
We have a couple windows that are damaged. Since last Fall we call and call and don't get results. Worries us, if and when we have something really urgent with the windows. What then? They have never been very concerned in the customer service area. We have neighbors who are replacing windows and we like the product but are hesitant to recommend due to...
Read full review of Window Worldlenght of time it takes them to install windows
My brother in law suggested this company in Cincinnati, Ohio. I ordered 2 windows on 9/14/2015 and was told 4-6 weeks to install. I have been calling the company and first was told my windows would be in on 10/16/2015. Okay they would call me for me install. Finally had to call them on 11/3/2015 and was now told they would install in December! When I told...

I contacted this company when they were in Galax Virginia . The first crew took all day to replace one window. They did not know how to remove a window from an older brick home. The next day a man and his wife installed more than 20 windows in less than a day. This was in 2003. A different window world company installed windows in another home in another town. So far there is no problems with the windows in both houses. The problem I have is with Soffit and Facia had them install. Another incompetent crew showed up. It was raining that day the soffit was improperly installed so they would not have to return another day. Window world did correct this . I told the salesman that there was rotten wood and it needed to be replaced. He allowed for this in his estimate. This is the problem. No wood was replaced and an insufficient number of nails used to attach the siding to the Facia . The Facia siding is falling off. The soffit will fall next. I do not know what else is wrong with the installation but time will tell. I visited their office and was told legally they are only obligated for one year . A reputable contractor would correct any deficiencies as a matter of professional ethics. If you want to see a bad example of their work, you are welcome to visit at 133 McGavock lane max meadows, Virginia . I told them i would complain and they said go ahead. I read in another complaint the processing fee to replace failed windows. They said free replacement i understood that to mean no additional charge. My advice is to go with a local contractor. They will be happy to show off their completed work. Sorry about the capital letters. I can only use my left hand to type this complaint as documented in the detail box . It would take an hour for me to correctly type it right. This library keyboard is not friendly to the physically challenged.
poor installation. a total mess
I chose Window World over others because of their firm making the Windows. I ordered 16 impact Windows for installation and removal of the old contractor grade. I was told by the franchise owner that it would take his best crew 2-3 days to finish this project. The franchisee hires dubious people to install. They carry no work men's comp insurance for those working on your home. The crew managed to damage two areas of wood floors I took the time to cover with heavy resin paper. Breaking concrete, they drove the pieces through the paper into my floors. The crew had to borrow my tools. The last window they install is broken by an inept laborer. It took two weeks to get it in and as of this date has not been replaced, nor can it be inspected due to this. So I have windows with labels on them, dirty marks on interior. What a lesson learned. Even contacting corporate did not receive a return call. Do not use them!
unprofessional
The Window World Series 4000 windows are a good product. We had them installed, but it took more than one effort. The original installation, after removing our windows, was based on faulty employee measurements. Big inconvenience with moving furniture, etc. (we're old). Asked owner for price break when job had to be done again. Was refused. Guess all employees entitled to their commission regardless of performance. Not recommended. Beware.
