Rude van driver
About two weeks ago at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport I was picking up my wife when one of your drivers...Rudy...started laying on the horn scaring everyone around. I got out of my car and Rudy came running at me spewing expletives that many passengers and children around the area had to witness. I found out which Wyndham he drove for and it was your Sky Harbor property in Tempe, AZ. I spoke with a lady named Diane at that property and she directed me to the GM named Josh Branch. The next morning I left a phone message for Mr. Branch and received no return call that day. So I called again the next day and finally found and was connected to Mr. Branch. I must say that Mr. Branch needs a lesson in dealing with the public as he summarily dismissed my concerns about this employee named Rudy. He said he was a long term great employee. (Don't they always say that!) It certainly doesn't speak well of Mr. Branch's employment skills. He continued to tell me we are addressing the "situation" and treating it as a "learning experience". At the end of a fruitless call he addressed me as "buddy" and suggested I should drop by his location some time!
For the record...I'm a 72 year old 40+ year professional football scout for a major NFL team and have stayed in thousands of hotel properties in my career...many at Wyndham. I will no longer stay at your hotels and will direct our staff not to use your hotels again unless I receive some sort of explanation for the disgusting behavior of one of your van drivers at your property in Tempe, AZ and the dismissing and condescending attitude of the GM there, Josh Branch.

Customer service
Customer service is a farse, you will be given 4500 points to shut up, but that is where it ends. Customer service will give you a perpetual runaround! I had a horrible experience at a wyndham property, no meaningful feedback or discussion has been given to me. I have repeatedly, called, emailed, always been told it would be investigated and someone would get back with me. My time is valuable to me, all effort to resolve this issue gets put back on me, I am the customer in a service industry relationship.

Desired outcome: I want my money back, I want to know my complaint was investigated. Compensation for the HOURS I have spent trying to get just what is owed to me.
What you described pretty much mirrors what I have experienced when dealing with Customer Service even as a Diamond Rewards Level Member. I called to follow up on a complaint recently and they said they couldn’t find one even after I gave the the confirmation they emailed me. After spending over 30 minutes on the phone and getting transferred 4x they added some additional points to my account.
It’s also very difficult to take advantage of the benefits you earn. It says Welcome Gift at Check in and I’ve received 2 during over 100 stays and the Free Suite Upgrade is rarely provided since Team Members aren’t educated on the Rewards Program Benefits. One member told me they push them to get people to sign up, but there’s no training on anything else.
There are some properties that are so bad and run down that I won’t stay at again.
Super8 in Winchester va
Our stay at this super 8 was less than safe and undesirable, the hotel smelled of smoke and the smoke detector in our room was removed and wires taped sticking out of ceiling
The room was very dirty , bathtub black with scum, mirrors dirty,holes in door , safety latch on door was removed. I do have pictures of all this. If this is a hotel that your brand supports that’s ashamed
There are major safety issues here

Wyndham rewards
Hello very upset with wydham rewards. I was promised points which I never got. I called to follow up and was advised they would be added to check after 1 month. Checked and nothing. Sent 2 messages on 2 different dates which advise 48 hrs reply never heard from anyone called today and wasted 1 hour to be transferred from rewards to care who couldn’t help and transfer back to rewards and was disconnected so called again to rewards and asked for a supervisor wasn’t given anybody except the care rep to ask me everything again and leave me on hold for extended period which I finally gave up and disconnected and of course no one called back. So please send feedback to the company the service is poor , customer service is poor, and I will not do any further business with wyndham at this point. Sent a message on Facebook to them and all they wrote back was a generic message to call them at the same contact number for rewards. Horrible program. I met the conditions and no rewards lots of other places to stay.
La Quinta Hotel - San Antonio North Stone Oak
On August 13, 2022 I checked into the hotel. When I walked into the lobby there was a mildew odor and it appeared that the hotel is going through renovations. When I entered my room it appeared to be clean but:
1. Bedspread was showing boot prints on both beds.
2. Sheets appeared to be dirty
3. Chair appeared to have sperm on different parts of the chair
3. Crumbs on the rug and air conditioner unit
4. Bath tub had black ring around it.
5. Room had musty mildew scent
I requested another room when we got into that room again not cleaned as a hotel room should be. Room had a musty smell I was so uncomfortable sleeping or staying in that hotel I felt like I was in an hourly motel so we decided to leave. I checked into Drury Inn & Suites for what turned into a 4 night stay not a 2 night.
I tried to get my money back but I paid in advance and they saw nothing wrong with anything. They did not try to help or even compensate me.
La Quinta Hotels is one of my favorite hotels and now I am not sure I want to stay in any of them going forward.
I do understand a place being under renovations however, if they can not accommodate their customers with a clean and decent room they should close till the renovations are done. Yet they had no signs up saying anything about renovations.
Desired outcome: My desired outcome would be refund on a place I did not stay due to dirty & smelly conditions of the hotel.
Will not stop ID Thief from renting in my Name!!!
Everything was all fine and dandy for a couple of years with this group til an ID thief stole my cell from a room in one of their hotels. I called customer service 3 times and begged and pleaded for them to close my account. But it wasn't, it was put into, "review". Now this ID thief is renting by walking in with a fake ID in my name, using my points, and having sex for money in various Wyndham hotels when it suits her!
Desired outcome: This company needs to be responsible for contributing to this ID thief's crime spree in my name at their hotels. It looks like I must get an attorney to threaten to sue them to get my diamond acct. closed!

Please look up my case for the details. I have been trying to get a refund since 8/9 and I have heard "I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do" too many times. I have been told that it was too late for me to cancel my reservation (after 4 PM). I did not make the reservation until after 4 PM and I was assured I would get a refund when I canceled it after about one hour.
Customer Service never got back to me, although every email promised a response within 24-72 hours. This has been the worst experience dealing with "customer care" that I have ever had.

On August 3rd we attempted to check into a Wyndham owned hotel super 8 in Vandalia Dayton Ohio. This hotel was filthy it was unsafe and it represented itself in pictures that were nothing like the hotel actually looked when we arrived we arrived. When I questioned the condition of the hotel and ask to see a room After finding the room completely filthy and unclean because I had booked this property, thru 3rd party I had to call them first, they then asked the hotel to release our reservation, but they belligerent refused.
They also refused us to check in even ibefore I called... so... I called Wyndham and they were going to talk to the manager there because it is independent franchised... the owner refused to allow me to check in and refused to give.my money back and refused to allow us to

Booked 2 nights and only stayed one.
Rooms are dirty and stinky. Hallways to lobby dirty and stinky.
Property looked like a cheap apartment in the hood by in occupents.
When I checked out there were 2 people at the front desk and one of them had their ball cap on backwards with his LaQuinta shirt on. Not professional at all.
Will never stay there and will check review better even if it is a Wyndham property. Please have someone from corporate check this place out.

Days Inn Emporia, VA and Days Inn, Monmouth Junction, NJ
As a Wyndham Timeshare owner, I have used my Wyndham points for a quick overnight stay at two different Days Inns(see above) and my wife and I were totally unsatisfied. The first was the Days Inn at Emporia, VA on 3/13/2022 and the second was Days Inn at Monmouth Junction, NJ on 7/21/2022. Here are the issues I had:
- paint peeling off of entry door
- cockroaches in bathroom
- bed bugs in bed, woke up with several bites!
- sheets with holes and stains :-(
- in NJ, an inoperable room phone
- in NJ, a door lock that was stuck
Overall, shame on me for trying Days Inn a second time! I am embarrassed that the Wyndham name is on these two facilities (I won't even call them hotels). I hate it that I used points and some cash for these rooms and, as a Wyndham owner would expect a reply to this complaint. The rooms were really very bad.

your system was acting up. You took 3 instead of 1. I should have guest 8 certificates left. Please reinstate my guest certificates to 8.
As I only needed one. we have 9 reservations this shouldn't be an issue. I have reservations at Oro Valley, Arizona 3 bedroom and 1 bedroom. Scottsdale 1 bedroom deluxe. 2 reservations at Big Bear, and 2 Anaheim.
total of 9 reservations, your website is miserable. This is unacceptable. The time on website has increased because your changes have slowed down the process. and the wait time on the phone is also, ridiculous.
I am of the philosophy if it isn't broken don't fix it. Do not lose any of my reservations. Please find employees that are willing to do a good job.
Please send me an email stating you reinstated my guest certificates. We have invested a lot of money into this timeshare program. We have never experienced such incompetence. no excuses.

Unauthorized credit card charges
On May 27, 2022, my Wyndham rewards card was charged $3092.93. I had recently changed my card payment method with a new card. I was on monthly installments however Wyndham resorts debit my Wyndham reward card for the total yearly amount instead of the monthly installments of $263. Please get this straight before my payment date of July 14 and remove the unauthorized payment.

Called to make a complaint of my vehicle was parked and getting hit with a beer can or something from an upper floor where the balconies are. that i have 2 dents in my 2021 Honda Ridgeline. The first thing she asked if i had a video of it, Then i kinda got upset and told her that no, they have video in there parking lot. she said she didn't like the way i talked to her and hung up on me. she didn't think that her remark with asking if i took a video of someone doing that to my car was not insulting. so when she asked that question i was insulted to think that i was stupid. so i kinda defended myself and told her that they have video in the parking lot so that is when she got mad and hung up on me. i told her i knew that they had signs up not being responsible for damage to the vehicles that are parked there which makes me believe that people do this a lot. if this is the way she handles guests she isn't trying to help she is hurting business. i was going to ask if they might look at their video and see if it was done in their parking lot being that is the only place i was when that happened.

I was offered a Wyndam Rewards program and have come down with an illness that makes it imposible for me to use t. I was not told I could not cancel it. Wyndham took it upon themselves to run my credit for this account. I DID NOT give them permission to do that! Received a credit card bill for $2100 for an acct ive never even used or applied for. Wyndham told me I was approved with No money down. I then receive this bill and was told the 2100 covered my down payment, what! What happened to No Money down, I DID Not Approve this and trying to dispute this outside of Wyndham. I now have 3 bills a month to pay with Wyndham which I cant afford. And of course they denied me to cancel out from the contract. This entire thing has been extremely misleading and a nightmare. Will be seeking help in getting rid of this membership

1st off i was told i was going to a presentation about the Wyndham rewards program, Not a Timeshare presentation. This took up 4 hrs of my vacation and i came to learn about a week later how misleading this entire process was. I tried to cancel and was denied because i missed deadline by 2,3 dys. They only allow 7 dys to cancel, which isnt even enough time to go thru the hundreds of papers they give you . I gave permission for my credit to be ran once, for the purpose of determining my down and monthly payment. I later found out my credit was ran at least 3 times. They said i was approved with no money down, meanwhile i received a $2100 credit card bill . I never opened this acct or even used it. Called Wyndham to find out the 2100 credit covered my down payment. What, who gave them permission to do that? I now have 3 bills a month with Wyndham, $74, $106,$380. This has been very stressful and im worried of falling into debt. They shouldn't be allowed to do this to ppl.

I went to the Super 8 hotel at210 Westney Road south Ajax Ontario Canada this morning and talked with desk clerk Rishabh about the price of a room for one night. I told him we were seniors with AARP and AAA and asked for his best price for one night;he told me the best he could do was 90 dollars for a room with a queen bed. I said that was a reasonable price. So asked for two nights and he told me the price would be 180.00 plus taxes. I told that a friend of mine would make the booking reservation. My friend called him 5 minutes later and Rishabh told him I misunderstood his prices and that the price was 180.00 per night. My friend called me with the bad news and I called Rishabh to tell him he was the best of desk clerks by changing the price and before I could tell him he should be fired for incompetence, he hung up the phone on me. To Whom It May Concern;
I'm writing to you with regard to the quality of services provided to my family by your
staff at “La Quinta by Wyndham at Mansfield” in Texas. We stayed at your hotel from March 25th through March 27, 2022
and the hotel condition and staff services were definitely lacking in quality. Below are listed the items we encountered that we feel should be brought to your attention, so future guest won’t experience what we did.
When we made our reservations we requested a top floor room to avoid noise from upstairs guests. When we exited the elevator on our floor, the entire hall smelled of vomit. Upon entering our room we found the room reeked of the same odor, there wasn’t towels in bath, also the desk had sticky food spills on it with trash on the floor under the desk. The bed was not made properly as the covers were just thrown over the pillows, when cover was pulled back there was long hair on the pillows and something wasted down the side of the bed. We called the front desk and requested different room.
We were then assigned room 129. When we entered the room to check it out ,there was not any towels in room 129 either, so we went back to desk to request towels. We were only given 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel , 3 face towels and 1 bath mat. When I requested a 3rd bath towel ( there were three of us reserved in the room) I was told they were out of towels and I would have to come the following morning to get another towel. Which meant one of us couldn’t shower.
The bath tub did not appear clean ( I’ve included pictures) and there was not hot water in the shower just cold. So everyone had to take cold shower. Was cold regardless of the time. The water in bathroom sink was reversed, that was not the case on the tub.
Comforter on one of the beds was literally falling apart, ( I’ve included pictures) That comforter should’ve been in the trash , not on a guests bed. I took the comforter back to front desk and was provided another one. The other bed comforter had a hole in it about the size of a quarter.
So the following morning, Saturday 7AM I go to front desk to get my towel and 3 additional towels so we would be able to shower when we returned from a day spent at the ball park, the front desk person was on the phone so another staff member came to help me but again I was told they were out of towels and I would have to pick them up later. At this point I was very disappointed in the service because I still wasn’t able to shower.
Iron provided in room was broken and didn’t heat. (I’ve included pictures) Ironing board is not level is bent in several places so both were not usable.
The ice machine on 1st floor doesn’t work, doesn’t even have the bottom catcher in it. ( I’ve included pictures)
Saturday evening when we return from the ball park after a day of softball, I go to desk to pick up our towels and was told by the desk clerk they didn’t have any. I informed him I had been told the exact same thing since check in and I needed the towels because we need to shower. He informed me he would have to go to vacant rooms to find towels and it would take him a little bit of time to do that. I told him I would wait for him at the desk while he went to find the towels. He returned in about 15 minutes with exactly 3 towels.
Loud talking and several screams in the hall at approx 2am Sunday morning.
The condition of property exterior was concerning, Lighting was poor, grounds was unkept with weeds around buildings, grass needing mowed, trash and dead leaves debris blown up against curbs. ( I’ve included pictures)
We received email survey from you guys today 3/28/2022 and it showed us checking out 3/26/22 but we checked out Sunday 3/27/2022 , right before noon. We had an early softball game Sunday morning so we came back to check out after our 1st game. I took key cards to front desk to turn in , the desk clerk took the keys and I asked for a receipt and she informed me they would email the receipt. So we checked email when we returned home and did not have a receipt, today 3/28/22 we still did not receipt. I called the hotel to inquire about the receipt and requested them to send to me and was informed they were not showing us staying there at all, so I gave her reservation number and our room number then she found it , but only showed us staying one night not two. The night we checked in I paid $200.00 cash and balance of $97.99 on a credit card. Now the confusion over the length of our stay and not being able to receive a receipt when I asked for one. Now I’m concerned that my credit card information may not be safe after being used at your location. We are completely disappointed with the service we received during this stay and ask that you contact me immediately concerning my receipt and I’m requesting to be refunded the money we spent for this unfortunate stay at this hotel.

super 8 motel
my husband and i stayed at the super 8 by wyhndam on march 5 2022 in memphis tn it was so bad we thought about leaving but we paid so we had to stay they advertised a hot breakfast none only cold cereal and toast which the toaster was not working and as apple we noticed people smoking pot outside our door parking was so tight we had a hard time getting our luggage in the car we called customer service and the owner said he would not do anything about it the other super 8 motel was in elkhart on march 19 2022 that one was bad to not hot water a sliver of soap tub had no drain was all rusty i would not take a shower someone need to check on the super 8 motels i am very disapointed in the motel 8 we put the on our amex charles venis 134 laura boling loop rd strawberry plains tn 37871
