Breach of contract and blatant lies and Deceit
Correct information as to procedures for cancellation and freezing also main member not receiving any correspondence whether its sms pgone calls or emails, instead members who jave signed up on the main members account receives, so i ask the question, is that when main member calls in she met with abrupt and rude employees at Zone fitness, Muizenberg branch in particular. We have tried to cancel but because we a family of 5 on one members contract NOT INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTS, we are told to pay an amount of over R6000 to have it cancelled. Now heres the thing, we in a period of pandemic, surely Zone fitness should allow cancellations at no cost as people cant guarantee that their jobs are safe especially in our case. The main member has been paying for all 5 as 3 of the members on the account is unemployed.
Now how are we to pay a membership if no one is working as they lost their jobs. It is not like Zone fitness is losing here... instead they are creating more problems for those people who has lost their jobs as they are being blacklisted by Zone Fitness in particular.
Monthly fee
I have been getting messages that I have not made payment for my membership ' NON-PAYMENT COULD LEAD TO ADVERSE CREDIT RATING, PAY YOUR GYM ACCOUNT OR MAIL SHARON URGENT [protected]@zonefitness.co.za' and thought it was a glitch on your system because I have made my payment exactly month end. Indeed when I went to the Parow branch I could not get in because apparently I'm in arrears. I have been paying my fee every month since I started so I don't understand the arrears you refer to. Please get this sorted out so I can go back to gym. Thank you

Bad services, bad attitude and treating people not fairly. favouritism
l'm currently having issues with zone fitness Pretoria Central they termineted my contract due to false allegation.
The the issue was that l was training with the group of people where as we enjoy working out together. Only to work up last week on Thursday . And they accuse me of being personal training where as we where gym as a group.
So the Manager decide to terminate my contract and leave the rest of people that l was training with which is not fair. My rights have been twisted here.
So please if anyone can help by contacting the head office of zone fitness bcz l have been trying to get their contact and l can't get them anywhere.

Customer Service / Contract
Cancellation would have been sent to you immediately after last debit order was deducted, however after enquiries regarding the date my contract ends, I was not informed of any cancellation email that must be sent. I merely just called and visited your Parow branch to enquire about the end period of the contract and I feel that on this enquiry, your staff should have re-iterated the fact that an email / or written cancellation must be sent should I wish to not continue.
Your staff also has a major attitude and questions my integrity and the legitimacy of my enquiry about the end of my contact which I did not appreciate. I did not specifically ask who I approached at your zone parow desk or who I was speaking to when I called to enquire about the end of my contract. It was a general enquiry and did not foresee that I would have had this issue. I feel it was the responsibility of your staff to have mentioned the process when contracts end to me.
Desired outcome: I would like someone to call me other than the Branch Manager of ZoneFitness Parow
Intimadation , defamation and harrasment
This evening which is Wednesday 05/05/2021 I was ill treated at the facility mentioned below by a staff member and as such would like to be assisted in the matter alternatively I will be more than willing to take it to the highest authorities and get a signed partition from the numerous members about an ill mannered uncouth employee as gross misconduct and should be handled with such severity.
Desired outcome: Disciplinary hearing , formal course on etiquette coaching for servicing clients and a formal apology for misconduct as well as assurance it won't ever happen again to any avid member of the club
Cancelation
I cancelled my zone fitness account recently after having a bad encounter by them, however they still doing there monthly dedcutions, an still sending me messaging saying I'm in arrears. They deducting there montly payments by me but I cannot go into the gym. What [censored] is that!
Zone fitness - Parow don't bother joining.
They will tell you everything to get you to join, once you join they change everything an said that they told you about it, when it was never discussed wit you.
Cancelation
I signed a contract with one of the consultants at the zone fitness Bruma whilst they were running a R185 pm special for a period of 24 months. After a couple of months they started debiting R440. I then reversed it and called the consultant who told me it would be fixed. Instead a few days later they debited R440 again. I called and told them I no longer want the contract because they not honoring their commitment and I'm incurring bank charges. I was told it would be escalated but no feedback was given. A year later I was called by a collector and advised them of the situation and sent numerous emails requesting that they send me my contact and billing file. 3years later, To date I have received nothing
Desired outcome: Cancel my contract and account or proof you honored the contract I signed by sending me my contr and billing file
Account closure
I signed a contract with ZoneFitness in October 2018 for 2 years. Never used them though because my life was too busy, agent that signed me up said it's only 2 years and after it will cancel. Accepted it and paid 2years. Then come November 2020 and they debit and I accept it, December 2020 and you're still debiting so I cancel the debit order because I didn't have a physical contract saying I should cancel it because I signed for 2 years. Now I call and dispute this and finance team tells me I have no choice I should've known and stuff and how is that fair? I never used Zone Fitness to begin with now I'm liable to pay over 3k because I wasn't told to cancel? And on top of that you tell me that I need to cancel with a physical letter and all that nonsense?
I don't want the contract - I never did - I paid the 2 years because I accepted I signed for it, but this extra charges is not on and I want it scraped and my account closed asap

Bad service with a bad attitude
When I joined the gym, I wasn't informed that I can freeze my account and still pay an amount of 33% while the account is being frozen. I froze my account beginning of this year for a period of 3 months. About a month back they debit my 33% of my original fee an the money was debit gorm my account but they claim that they haven't received it, beginning of April, I went in to the gym to unfreeze my account so that I can gym again, an to my surprise i find out that i have to may extra to unfreeze my account for them not receiving my initial payment that went off on my account. NOTE, I never received an sms nor a phone call with regards to any of that. When I told the lady infront by the reception area, I was told that they did send a Sms an they don't call for any follow up. I then made it clear to her that I haven't received any form of communication and all I got from her was, ' WELL WE DID SEND A SMS, YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO PAY IT IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE GYMING HERE. I immediately cancelled my account cause I did not appreciate her tone nor the way I was spoken to an she never even apologized instead she juts laughed with a colleague when I asked to cancel.

Cancellation fee
I am so disturb with Zone fitness cancellation protocol. When entering an Mall Zone Fitness has there Sales Team convincing a client to join the gym and to be health and not once was
I informed the amount to cancel my membership fee. This is really ridiculous because if the sales person has advise me the longer you have your account the more the cancellation fee will generate to, It would of defiantly be a NOOOO. Please all, zone fitness should not advertise and keep this hidden away. What happens if a person has lost there job. This is bad service really and very disrespectful to a client.
Membership cancellation
I requested for membership cancellation and the person who assisted me calculated my penalty on 20 months remaining whereas I've been paying for 11 months on a 24 months contract. She later corrected it to 13 months however the 7 months difference made R89 difference which did not make sense to me. When I enquired the consultant told me it is the correct amount and she is not willing to correct it. The sales person I dealt with gave me false information regarding the contract. I only wanted to use the gym for six months and I did explain that to them and because they don't offer a 6 months contract I was told that when I cancell the membership I won't pay any fees. I have been paying for a year and months now and will still have to continue because no one is willing to assist me from that place. Now I just payed double for no reason

Wrong account debited
I changed banks I got a confirmation that zonefitness had updated my bank details. I find you very incompetent because you still debited the wrong account which is closed. I will not pay additional transaction fees or I will stop. Bellville Zonefitness is just incompetent. Zonefitness all over is just weak how do you say you updated but didn't? The bank charges now I must pay?

Campus square zone fitness it has a bad service especial your manager she treats people animals, some machines are not working but we busy paying for nothing please fix your Gym otherwise you will loose your members and I forgot something why you always change your staff after one week we see different people every week different staff
Disgusting service
I have been a zone fitness superclub member for more than six years now if I put together finishing my contracts and re-joining. I am currently on month to month. The point I am trying to make is that I have never been disrespected and humiliated the way two staff members namely Mogamat Taybe Fredericks and Jesse did to me today.
I often train between 16:30 and 18:00 and today 17.03.2021 at approximately 18:00 when we just almost finished with our session, both my partner and I were left with last sets to be precise. This staff member that I later known as Jesse came to us and told us to move from the machine/bench we were busy on and I politely told him that we were almost done, and that is when the problem started. Because he then raised his voice infront of everyone and said to my suprise we were not suppose to use that part of the gym and that, he is instructing us to move. I kept on telling him we were almost done, he is waiting time and eventually I lost it and told him we were not moving, he must rather call the manager. He came back with this Mogamat and things went from better to worse. I was so angry that I remember insulting one of them.
In my experience I know of circuit training or what ever and like I said to this Jesse guy he was suppose to in a polite way see that no member is using the machines when he is going to be busy with (I don't even know what to call it). And I don't think as a member, regardless of what transpired the zone fitness staff have a right to insult, point fingers or even threaten any member. The worst and unprofessional part was when they refused to give me their names but yet asked for mine of which I freely gave them my card for so they can get my details
To narrow it down this two staff member's customer service is disgusting and they really need help.
I will never ever be happy if I still see them in this watergate branch, the way they did and looked down at me let alone the embarrassment.

In 2019, I came through to the club and said that I wanted to cancel my membership as I was on a month to month basis and owed a balance of R0.00 as well as unable to train due to a health condition. I provided a letter to the MSC by the name of Ellen and she had informed me that she would cancel the contract as well as attach the doctor's letter to the cancellation, the operations manager Cruz was present when I spoke to Ellen and gave her the note and instructions. Kindly assist in the cancelation of my contract and removal of my name from ITC. Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

good day when I took out zone fitness I was advised by a consultant that I would be able to freeze my account at any point when I need to I was never told of what are the requirements to freeze account. I have been with zone fitness now for more that a year and been training at the sable square branch. last year when I wanted to freeze my account I was told my Samantha at sable square that my account needed to be up to date to freeze it now this year now this year things are not looking good for me as I am a single parents and bread winner with an ill child I asked zone fitness to freeze my account the request was sent towards the end of January and the lady told me it should not be a problem as long as my last payment was successful and we went to a roller coater until 1st week of February and nothing was being done in my account and I ended up missing a payment because I told them I could not pay the full amount anymore. I finally called the manager at cape town dbc branch to assist me and he asked that I send him the correspondence between me and the consultants I was busy with and he advised because of the wrong information I was given by them as he can see on email as well he would make sure that I get the help I need and I waited and only got one email for a consultant at sable square wanting more information I don't know for what as everything was on email I re explained myself and last week another lady called her name is thuli sajini and I re told the story again to her and she promised to make sure my account was freeze even if its just for 3months but I would pay a percentage monthly and up until now nothing has been resolved I called her again today and it sounded like she does not even remember me. again I missed a payment and gonna be behind all due to unprofessionalism. my contact number is [protected] Lorraine liziwe Makohliso and i. d number is [protected]

During Covid 19 in 2020 I have requested for my Contract to be cancelled as I was out of my original 24 month contract and No body of Zone Fitness' made contact with me to extend my contract after almost a year I got an call from a debt collector stating that Zone Fitness has handed me over to them for the outstanding funds.Please could you supply me with the General Managers email addressI just want to know where did I sign to renew the contract after the 24 moths?

Good day Sir or Madam
I am a Zone fitness member.
I went to the branch and handed the receptionist my change of banking details. She never informed me my dad the account holder of bank account has to hand it in himself.
She took it and said yes it is in order.
They blocked the hymn account as debit was not done by Zone Fitness on new account.
I went to the branch paid in the money in cash and told them again to change details to new account.
I was not allowed to make use of the membership.
They handed the account to there lawyers for the amount of R8000.
I went to the branch Samantha the manager said is not there fault I am liable to either pay the Lawyers amount or the amount of R3500 at the gym in full and I am not allowed to do it in two payments they are not going to accept two payments.
She also told me they will add an amount of R350 every month.
Please advise me on the complaint.

Unnecessary closing of treadmills rudeness of staff
Greetings. This is about philippi zone fitness
It seems like they don't understand that we attend the gym for for different purposes the trend mills are not all operating me I just go to gym only for running but because of limited machines I only jog when i'm off, if I go there whilst i'm from work 18hoo I se the people who spend 40 or more minutes in the machines whilst there is a stamp saying min 20 minutes and the rude coach is only watching them and when you complain is saying he will muur you and you won't even have an evidence because there are no cameras there. They don't even send the notification when there is no water you get surprised there next time i'll take vidio with my phone and make it trend if this doesn't stop. Trendmill's plugs must be separated more in order to maintain the distance not switching them off because there is a space behind them philippi phillippi

Going through the same problem Im basically being harrassed by some what lawyers actually threatened to lay gym fees and I don't work aswell as husband and weve got 2 kids to care for they have no mercy especially during this trying times sies for zone fitness !
