On Saturday, January 20, 2024, my date and I went to see "Anybody But You" at 4:45 PM in Montgomery Alabama theatre 3. We paid $50 for two tickets, a large popcorn and 2 large drinks. The theatre and my nose was freezing the entire time. I kept on my jacket (and luckily had my gloves in my purse I put on) the entire time. About 8 people came in to watch the movie we were attending with blankets. I wanted to try to buy one from a couple it was so cold. I went to the front desk twice to inform them of the freezing temperature and ask that they adjust the temperature to make it warmer. I heard the employee tell the Manager (a black male) on duty and said he would.
No telling what the bill is for running the air like that in the theatre. It was ridiculous for us to pay that kind of money to go on a date in hopes of enjoying a movie with popcorn and drinks yet to freeze and be that uncomfortable. I am 52 years old and never in my entire life have I been so uncomfortable and miserable in a movie theatre before. My date kept asking if I wanted to leave but I did not want to waste the money he paid and not see the movie. There is not much to do in Montgomery. Please address this problem.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate being refunded 2 movie tickets of our choice, a large popcorn and 2 large drinks in hopes that we could watch another movie in comfort.
