This is a genuine scam, this site amazon.com amzn.com/billwaus charge my credit card with two (2) amounts, one of $1.00 us and the other of $199.00 us! We always make our transactions in canadian dollars, right there, that was the first sign that something was wrong! We had no message either from amazon. Ca telling us they were shipping something to us! We do not understand how those crooks operate but they seem to be able to access our credit card informations trough amazon. Ca, we do not buy trough amazon.com (usa), we only buy trough amazon. Ca (canada)!
How long will the authorities let those thieves continue to rip honest people like that? It seems to be a knowned issue for quite a while now!
Charges adding up to $86.79 was taken out of my account by amzn.com/billwaus and ifcj chicago without my knowledge. since they hit my account at the same time, I believe these are the same people. this could easily cause me to bounce checks considering my renter did not pay me rent this month!
I must apologize for my complaint. Apparently the charges to the account were done by my teenage son and were not fraudulent charges after all.

Amzn.com got my card yesterday for $288.29 called Amazon and they had no payment on my account for that amount. I took my card off Amazon and I hope not to see money leave my account when I didn't order anything. I hope my bank can get my money back.
I’ve been charged for something I didn’t receive. There is a problem with it saying it’s on the way, I might receive it and I might not but Amazon charge me anyway. I’m assuming its coming?

I don't think you guys realise this is not Amazon charging you but amzn, a fraudulent phishing company which is not affiliated with Amazon in any way.
Notice the SPELLING.
Go to the police and your bank, Amazon can't help you on this.
I thought the same thing. I called my bank and was told that when ordering from independent sellers, the charge will appear abbreviated as Amzn mktp. If you go to your Amazon page, in the hamburger menu select My Account, then Payments, Your Payments, then select Transactions. Youll see the amount charged with a link to the actual order. I had forgotten that I'd made this purchase and this saved me from the embarrassment if I'd called to dispute.
David is absolutely correct! I just had the change on a debit card that never leaves my wallet. I’ve never used it on Amazon, or anywhere, period!
Not necessarily true. You can use AMZ to pay for items not associated with AMZ. Think of it as Apple Watch payment or PayPal or Samsung (when paying on your phone or watch). Either way investigate, look for your orders and then dispute

Good morning from the east coast :) I also thought I was being improperly charged. I went to Transactions as another poster suggested. What I ordered was listed there. And then it just came up under Orders. So, crossing my fingers. It looks legit? I'll post again if I have any fraudulent charges.
I receieved an item from Amazon that I didn't order. I mistakenly thought it might be a freebie from the seller in the hope I would write a good review. WRONG! I checked my credit card statement and there was a charge for the item. I did not order it nor was it listed in my orders. I called Amazon customer service, apparently there was another Amazon customer using my stored credit card info on their Amazon account. Amazon would not give me the name of the other customer stating privacy laws. Where was my privacy when they hacked my Amazon account? So apparently the thief forgot to have it shipped to them and it went to the default shipping address (mine) idiots. Amazon suggested I call my credit card company. There was another charge pending for a different item (I receieved that one too) Idiots. After reviewing my credit card statement from the previous month there was a charge for a third item that I did not order (or receieve). All Amazon customer service reps would say is they are forwarding the information to the "security team" who will contact me in 24hrs. (it's been a week). All of my charges were refunded by my credit card company. I don't know if the seller lost out on that money or not. These were all marketplace purchases.
I also found out by searching the internet that in October 2020 an Amazon employee was fired for selling customer's email addresses. I don't know if there was a link since I was never contacted by Amazon that my email was part of the "Amazon Insider Data Breach".
I just got a charge for the same thing i called my bank and they are handling it and refunding my money!
What does AMZN com Billwaus mean?
It stands for Amazon.com/Bill WA, US ….it’s likely a hold placed on your card for any number of reasons listed on their the site
Stop complaining!
I'm a billionaire now
Screw you man i work hard for my money and im only a kid!
This just happened to my teen son who was directed from the real Amazon to this site. $300 in merchandise and now they have his card info. I’m disputing at the bank tomorrow. But why is this not being looked into! I’m livid!
