Payment processing
Basically I ordered two items, same order, different fulfillment's paths …. For some reason, Amazon sent me an email telling me my payment was declined and to go to the site to change the payment. I have zero issues with my credit card company or my credit. I had used my Amex points and ended up losing these as a result of Amazon's goof … that was $30.00 in points. To ice the cake, after I resubmitted my Amex payment … this time paying more because … why. Then I get a second notice in my inbox that my payment was declined. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice …. Well that was not going to happen. I signed onto my credit card's website where there were now four pending charges for the two items I ordered; one of which showed me paying more for the one item. Amazon has somehow arranged with Amex to post Amazon's customer service number on the Amex payment detail view. This is confusing because it is a special deal for Amazon that to my knowledge and experience is not present for other companies; eg Amex usually does the payment contesting for the cardholder. It fooled me. Thus an awkward phone conversation ensued with the Amazon customer service person … who I thought was an Amex customer service rep. Amazon should pay more attention to its core services rather than blasting its CEO into space. This is my last year as a prime member. It would seem Amazon has gone to the dark side.
Desired outcome: I want Amazon to discontinue this convoluted payment processing that caused the issue. I want my Amex points back and I want my 2+ hours back.

refund for undeliverable items
I received an email on October 3rd that part of my order was undeliverable. I am still waiting and need to know the status of my refund. It has been a month and a half now. I am new to Amazon and have spent the last hour trying to figure this out, don't really have the time. I also have canceled my Amazon prime account and am frustrated to the point of never using your services again. Order # 9305589690000052425730 Thank you hope to hear from you soon.
Desired outcome: Refund
Suspended debit card good did not receive order order paid
I have had this happen several times, and it seems to happen when the ordered item is heavy. You order an item from Amazon that's available, you pay for the item, and a date and time for delivery is set. Then your item does not arrive at the appointed date/time, and you receive this notification from Amazon:
Undeliverable
Unfortunately, a problem occurred during shipping, and we had to cancel your delivery. The package is being returned, and we will issue a refund within 3 - 5 business days after the return is processed. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience.
This is unacceptable from Amazon. The only means to contact Amazon is through chat, which is useless because the person keeps replying over and over again the corporate message "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" but will not do anything to correct it! I suggest that the manufacturer of this item find out why the item was "Undeliverable"!
Update: This is the fourth day and NO resolve. The attached photo is what is posted on the Amazon site when tracking the order:
So, it took Amazon 30 minutes to withdraw the money from my account, but four days later no answers/accountable from Amazon.
Customer Service
I had a problem with a Amazon gift card I purchased. When I peeled off the sliver strip some of the characters were taken with it making it unreadable. I contacted Amazon customer service because the web site said it could apply the bar code number. I have my receipt…the card. When I contacted Amazon customer service for help they told me that I had to have the claim number otherwise to go back to the store where it was bought. Which I did….after talking to 2 Amazon customer service reps and 2 separate emails with a copy attached. The Vons store blew me off so Same response so I ended up contacting the grocery stores corporate office and then was referred to their Gift Card department. After obtaining all my info…they asked me to send them a photo copy of the card, receipt and etc. and they would contact Amazon….I was like What….I tried that several days ago…..this is ridiculous. Your website says a card can be applied if you have the numbers.
Brand Registration of Product
CASE [protected]
After filing all documents I get several emails that they working on it. Then finally it states that it was approved and will now be evaluated by the Brand Evaluation team. After several weeks and emails stating they working on it I get an email they can't work in it further I must apply again. No reason nothing no contact possibility poor poor poor. My case has been closed on the Amazon site so no way of replying or asking questions.
Desired outcome: Want an answer from them as my next comment will be all over social media
Q & A – Christian communion in questions & answers
Hello,
On the following sites, I found my free book :
By Amazon com, the book was published, charged, and the book cover got changed — all without my relevant application and knowledge.
I signed up on Amazon.com and sent my complaints to its different departments to no avail.
My request is to stop the dishonest selling of my free book on Amazon sites.
Respectfully,
Igor Evgen
Desired outcome: The desired outcome is the removal of my book from every Amazon site.
Product review policy
I was recently banned from reviewing my purchases.
Amazon did this without providing ANY proof of a policy infraction.
I have been a Prime member for several years, recently spent thousands of dollars on purchases from Amazon for a new home and I find this unexceptable.
I carefully went over their policies and I can not find where I violated said policies.
Not once have I ever changed a review, much less after receiving a refund offered for a faulty product. I have NO personal relationships with vendors much less ones based in China. No one pays me for my reviews. My reviews are my honest opinions. My account was never established to publish false or misleading product reviews and my Prime account was first established over a decade ago.
I feel horribly insulted. Is this really how Amazon treats long standing members?
Desired outcome: Restore my ability to review products and apologize for literally accusing me of lying for money.
The same thing happened to me within the past week. I am suddenly getting banned from reviewing. No explanation and no appeal. I've been a top reviewer for more than a decade. No clue what has happened.

driver on 11.9.2021 1pm van sgl8
I cannot believe that you would hire a young man with his pant off his rear end, music blasting in the van and speeding up our drive way almost hitting a worker on our property!
Desired outcome: Fix the issues for fire him!
Ordered 2 jackets, returned both, never got refunded
I placed orders for three identical jackets that were different sizes. All three were shipped and returned. The third party sellers all ripped me off saying they didn't 2 of the jackets. Amazon has nothing to help. They just keep me on hold for 45 minutes to an hour. When did amazon start being so bad?! //they just rip people off and scam people.
Desired outcome: Refunds for 2 coats.
Data usage on my phone and I do not have an account or app for amazon
I have been having data stolen from my phone for Amazon Cloud and I am not even a subscriber to Amazon.
There is also no Amazon app installed on my phone.
The amount of data stolen in the past month is roughly 600 mg
Goodness know how long this has been going on for.
The cell phone number is [protected] - It does not even appear in your records
This renders my phone unusable because I am not in control of the expenditure
Desired outcome: Please cease and desist with immediate effect

In what world is this even a thing anyone should have to file a complaint about? You need to take this down NOW. You rightfully refuse to sell and promote the Confederate flag, but this you allow. I am both horrified and furious that I even need to say anything about this. Seriously Amazon. This is insane.

Desired outcome: Stop selling (and therefore promoting) this obscenity. How do I even have to tell you this?????
Kindle
I lost my phone in the river. I've been working with the phone insurance to try to get a new one but it's not going well. I've spent no less than 12 hours trying to get Amazon to allow me access to my account. They keep wanting me to upload a federal ID to an email. Is this the same company that said that having to have an id is racist? Anyway so now they've taken the racist road and instead of helping me again access, they keep sending me in circles and circles and at 1 point I found someone who said they were gonna resolve the issue in a couple days that's been almost a month ago. So, now I realize I can't access my kindle that means, all the books that are In my account that I have paid for have been essentially taken caviot emtore. So, if Amazon wants to continue to be be a racist and not allow me into my account, which every other business I work with has been able to do by sending an OTP to my email, then I feel like they should pay me for the $700 or so worth a book in my kindle account that they will not let me access. I've already reversed charges on my Prime account but I cannot gain access to my movies that I've purchased on prime I can't gain access to my kindle. So, Amazon gets to go against their own rule that requiring an ID is racist, wants me to be stupid enough to send them my id and will not allow me access to probably a $1000 worth of materials that I have purchased.
Desired outcome: Let me have access to my account or pay me back
Advertise price
11/06/21 Item i was looking for, Victor M9012 sonic 2 spike yellow. I was very disappointed about
an item that was advertise at one price and when i try to order it
the price was more then double
and when i try to talk to some one on customer service about it, I was not able to get any answers because the person on the phone, her accent was so heavy
it was impossible to understand anything that she was saying
Not extending the advertised offer to the customer
Amazon is currently running a "SPOTLIGHT DEAL PRIME STUDENT EXCLUSIVE" for Showtime for 99 cents/mo. for a year. We have students in the house and we have a Prime student account. Amazon will not honor the deal. I have been on the phone with them for two days. They told me to call Showtime. Showtime has no answers. I sent a screenshot to Amazon. They claim to not know anything about the offer.
Desired outcome: I would like the promotion that is offered. This is an eligible household and I don't know what game Amazon is playing
Charge
I was charged 63.87 from a billwaus charge. I want this to stop and my money returned. I did not make a purchase for that amount.
Desired outcome: Money returned
Packaging faulty and no privacy
Items are not packaged correctly. I live in a large building, often Amazon packages are delivered open, not bc of stealing, but bc they are not sealed correctly. My building has cameras and we see the packages are delivered this way. We've complained but there has been no resolve, and it has been going on for years.
Now, Amazon is shipping items without envelopes or boxes. They are slapping a label on original packaging so everyone know what's inside. Most recently, they shipped clothing in a clear plastic bag and with air holes in the clear packaging, so dirt and debris got inside it -- Not only is it gross, but what about PRIVACY?
As usual, I contacted Amazon, they cannot fix this issue nor can I file a complaint for me to follow up on. They can only refund or send a replacement. This is not the answer, and when the replacement arrives dirty I'll just wash it as I did the originals. This is really bad business. Amazon does not resolve the issue, in fact, Amazon wastes customers' time, causes aggravation and also causes the VENDOR a loss of money/product bc Amazon keeps packaging and shipping the same inappropriate way, while sending out replacements or giving refunds.
I'm ordering less and less from them, bc I don't want the everyone in the world (especially the 70 other apartments in my building) to know what I'm buying.
Desired outcome: Fix Packaging and PRIVACY issues on Deliveries
Amazon's shipping service
Amazon delivery has proven to be horrible.
When Items do arrive they are almost always late.
We are a business that has had multiple incidents of packages claiming to be delivered that were not. We have also had several cases of packages being left outside in various locations around our building. Not sure why they can't find our clearly marked shipping and receiving department or our front door in a 10, 000 sq ft building.
Granted, Amazon is pretty good at resolving these matters with replacement shipping or refunds but I've had more than my fill of dealing with Amazon support and the additional time and waiting involved.
It would be nice if Amazon could allow the customer to chose the shipping provider, in which case I would never pick them.
Desired outcome: Ability to choose delivery carrier.
Unauthorized charges to credit card
I have noticed a transaction of R217. 37 on the 3rd of October and R219. 94 on the 30th of October. I don't have an account with Amazon, this is the second time now. I don't know if I must change my credit card now in order to avoid another charge this month. I sent an email in October and I was requested additional information which I sent and the only response I received was Thank you very much.
Desired outcome: I want a refund
Changing phone numbers on account
The phone number I had attached to my account was recently sold by Verizon and became no longer valid. I have had to obtain a new number and am in the process of updating all of my online accounts to the new number.
When it came to Amazon, that was virtually impossible. In order to sign on to the site, you have to verify a code sent to the number no longer valid. SO that's strike one.
After contacting customer service, they wanted information (Advanced Security Protocol BS) that does not exist. A 15 digit transaction number that is not listed anywhere, not even in the shipping packaging. I verified that today with my last order... no receipt or anything with a transaction number. Oh, then describe the contents of your last 3 orders... I tried to describe, with no response from him whether that was good enough. I gave the service rep all the info he asked, even the transaction info directly from my bank account... Not good enough! SO my original account remains locked, and will be forever for all I care.
FYI, I had to call other institutions to have my contact info changed, and all were relatively smooth. Amazon has become too big and needs to be busted into pieces. They no longer appreciate long standing customers.
They treat them like criminals when implementing their "Advanced Security Protocols" ...
For sure, I will definitely give Ebay more of my online shopping business, so I don;t bother Amazon with more orders as a PRIME member.
IF this happens again, I will be able to give my last 3 purchases as thats about all they will be getting!
Ben Balzli
Desired outcome: Work with customers better to recover their accounts. Fire the Pakistani guy who couldn;t gove a damn.

About Amazon
Amazon's success can be attributed to its innovative business model, which has disrupted traditional retail markets. The company's online platform allows customers to browse and purchase products from a vast selection of categories, including electronics, books, clothing, and household items. Amazon also offers a range of services, such as Amazon Prime, which provides customers with free shipping, access to streaming services, and other benefits.
In addition to its retail operations, Amazon has also expanded into other areas of technology, such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud computing platform that provides businesses with a range of services, including storage, computing power, and analytics. AWS is one of the largest cloud computing providers in the world, with a market share of over 30%.
Amazon's success has not been without controversy, however. The company has faced criticism over its treatment of workers, with reports of poor working conditions and low wages. Amazon has also been accused of anti-competitive practices, with some critics arguing that the company's dominance in the retail market gives it an unfair advantage over smaller competitors.
Despite these challenges, Amazon continues to be a major player in the technology industry, with a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. The company's commitment to providing high-quality products and services has helped it to maintain its position as one of the most valuable companies in the world.
