Linen service
Aramark Uniform Services uses unethical business practices to lure you into a contract that you can never get out of.
After years of sub-par service, increasing our weekly invoice for no reason, never giving us enough linen, skipping our delivery entirely, not responding to complaint I had to threaten to call the cops if they came back on our property.
Now they want $14k for breaking the contract.
The text show how incompetent these people are.
Desired outcome: I would like them to redact their request for liquidated damages and come up with a reasonable payoff.
Employment/harassment and bullying by a director
I worked for 6 years at the same job without any write ups, never in trouble, and was still on payroll and worked durning the 2020 shut down, until we lost our contract in December 2022. Aramark then took over and within 6 months, I still never was written up or reprimanded , I was terminated. Through all the letters and witness letters, instead of looking at what happened to me by the the GM/Director, Craig J Miller, , they fired me for “Code of Conduct” … they say I wasn’t bullied or harassed…the only thing they came up with was, I cussed in the kitchen… here are all my letters.. and the outcome was “Cussing in the Kitchen”
They also erased my time to make me look like a no call no show and when I proved to them I was not, they put the time back and paid me. Very illegal!
***I need to know what to do and whom to talk to about Craig Miller our GM and also Shelly Double the Food service director.
I also have a “Fat Shaming” issue with Craig Miller, that I also would like to discuss.
I called out today because I feel I’m being bullied and and harassed, I don’t want to be in that situation and I’m, I feel like I’m being bullied to stay home and I no longer feel safe in that environment.
On January 16, 2023 I took over the New Good Day Program. The only items I was handed were the stickers and recipe papers of what the had at the time.
ie. pudding cups, chocolate and vanilla, mixed fruit stickers, boiled eggs, cookies and brownies. There were others but they were never implemented.
No one had ever sat down with me and went over anything I was supposed to do. Ever. No par sheets, no guidelines. I just went with what I could do in one day.
Since then, I have asked all my managers, except Roland Trask, to please get me some help. Up until the May 8, 2023 NO extra help was given. I have been asked weekly about
when was I going to put out fruit or pudding cups, etc. and that I need to make more cookies and brownies.
I went into work on Sunday, the 7th, to bake brownies and cookies when no one was there and I wouldn't have to fight for ovens during a busy shift during the week. Craig came in that Sunday the 7th, just to make
sure I was "doing my job" and asked me why I was doing it on Sunday, and I told him the same thing I just said above. I only worked 4 hours. I have to put two, 2 ounce cookies together to make a 4 oz. cookies.and bake them. I only had one case, we never keep enough in stock, and if I do have any, I mark them as mine for grab and go. but 1st shift takes whatever they want, and not order to replace the item they used. I also mixed up 2 batches of brownies and baked them and bagged and sticker-ed the cookies I baked on Thursday that were still on my speed rack.
When I was approached on the 8th, I was, I would like to say, asked very rudely by Craig, " What did I do in here yesterday " I once again told him the same thing I told him the very day before. He asked if I had disbursed anything? When this all started, Monday and Thursday were the nights everything was delivered to the other Cafes, I was also told in the beginning, I would not have to deliver, someone else would. I was in the middle of cutting and packaging and labeling the brownies and Cookies I baked the day before. They do have to be cooled down once the come out of the oven, If I only worked 4 hours the day before, how could they have been done and passed out. They can not go from a Hot oven to paper bags immediately, kinda figured he'd understand that much, but he didn't. I then told him, that I NEEDED help with all of this. He went up front to Jeff, talking about me, and then came back and told me that he would have Reggie do the deliveries on Monday and Thursday, looked at me, and said to me, "see, I got ya some help" very sarcastically. What kind of manager does that and thinks its funny?
That Monday night, I did what I could with what I had, in my work time. I divided everything for all 3 cafes, what I didn't have time to label, I sent in their packages with the stickers that needed to be put on them. Not everything was like that, half of it was already labeled by me. Guess he didn't like that either. I was off on Tuesday, when I came back to work on Wednesday, Craig sent an Email to Jeff, and whomever else, telling them to let me know to double up on everything, because he was monitoring the cafes, and whatever I'm putting out, they go through in one day. If I'm asking you for help, and you (Craig) come back with "Sarcastic Help of deliveries" and then Tuesday he must have had to stick the stickers on the cookies and I feel that is what led up to him sending the Double Up email.
If that ain't bullying or harassing, what is?
Yep, I got mad! I was furious! He may as well just came up and slapped me in the face personally, because that is exactly what he did on paper.
Did I cuss? yep! Anyone would have.
Did I leave, yes! I was insulted and demeaned by a superior who is supposed to be there to help you, not weigh you down.
Did he or Shelly call and ask what was wrong? NOPE because it worked out just the way they wanted it to. It was less than one hour after I left, that he cancelled my ID. Tell me that isn't what he was after? That has NEVER been done to anyone, unless they posed a threat, out of the whole site.
Instead of being a GM, he turned into a Bully. Why would you NOT call your employee and find out what happened? all part of his plan. Not even a text or write up, Turned my ID off in 60 minutes or less.
Big sex scandal there, instead of turning off their badges, they got a write up and still work together on the same shift, in the same building, same 5 days a week.
I ask for help... this is what I get?
Boeing has 6000+ employees on site between 3 shifts that run 24/7
3 Cafeteria's
1 Person to work the whole grab and go
***I am sending this to you with pics of the conversation I had with Jeff, the chef manager on my shift.
Everything started on a Wednesday. My work week is Monday-Thursday. I did call out on Thursday. Off Friday-Sunday. Went to work on Monday to be sent home because they cancelled my ID.
Just wondering who sent this and why? There is no way I was a no call no show, especially for days I don’t even work.
Also, I was on the clock Wednesday, now it doesn’t even show that I work Wednesday, I’m not sure how long I was there, but I was clocked in.
** I was off on Tuesday 5/9 Jeff knew I was taking off, because I worked Sunday, and Craig wanted me back on Thursdays for the deliveries for grab and go, I took Tuesday off, so I would not be working 5 days) I have never been a no call no show ever! This is their way of retaliation and trying to cover themselves
Desired outcome: I want my JOB back!!! And I want everyone who was in on this reprimanded, HR, Director/GM and the Food Service Director. You don’t fire people because you don’t like them. It’s wrong on every level!
Driver of truck 1776 at 1:00pm on July 28th heading northeast on bouquet canyon road
The driver was extremely disrespectful to me and 100% percent of other drivers on the road. They were cutting others off, and I could not even catch up to him after the truck took off. They drove very close to my rear for no reason and then continued to make incorrect choices towards others. I simply wanted to let the management know because it was just super disrespectful to everyone on the road, I don’t think the company wants to look that bad, or risk having a driver getting pulled over or in an accident. It isn’t even an emergency service as one may acknowledge.
Desired outcome: Do whatever! I don’t care in the end of the day. I just wanted to let the management know how significant this driver’s impact/energy was on the road.

Termination of uniform service
Our business has been Aramark customers for 10 years. NOT by choice though. We started service with Aramark when we opened our business. Only a couple of months into the contract, the quality of our service began to decline. We STOPPED direct debits but Aramark refused to do so even continuing debiting without our consent. We had multiple expenses finally stopping it and correcting our business bank account and our personal bank account. Of course at the end of our contract we, unknown to us, automatically renewed. Not wanting to waste money fighting Aramark, we continued the contract as stated but I set up an alert so that I could initiate the discontinuation of our service. My letter was sent certified as required and receipt was confirmed. We have had numerous Aramark reps contact us trying to continue our service. We WILL NOT continue service with Aramark.
One individual specifically, David Patten, became almost threatening on a phone call. When I told him of the many problems that we had with Aramark and told him that we would not continue service with them. I told him that our contract ends on 6/1/23. and that we have already turned in our Aramark items. I explained that, while I would love if Aramark would release us from our contract early, I did not expect that to happen. I explained that the Aramark guy, Ivan who is WONDERFUL, could continue to come but that we were not continuing service. Mr. Patten tried to explain how he was different from everyone else and why we should stay. I REFUSED to maintain service with them beyond the contract end date. Mr. Patten stated that I could do what I wanted but that he would "do what [I] have to do." I asked him what he meant by that and he stated that we were in a contract. I agreed and stated that we have not broken a contract and have not threatened to break a contract.
I felt as if Mr. Patten was making threats against me and our business. I am not sure if he was trying to intimidate me because I am a woman or if it was because we are a minority-owned business or if he was just frustrated losing another account.
Regardless, this interaction was just another representation of how Aramark treats customers - just read all of the reviews. This is a horrible, unethical, unscrupulous business.
Desired outcome: Termination of account - before the contract end date would be best but I expect nothing customer-focused from Aramark
A class action lawsuit against aramark
Aramark is the sleaziest company I have ever dealt with. Story is too long to talk about, so I leave some screenshots down below (check https://gofund.me/8c83296a) that you can peek a little bit of what they’ve done to all those people around the country. Since 2007 as so far I can see, could be earlier. I’m stunned, how this sleazy behavior can be tolerated for 10+ years. Just because of their predatory contracts? I'm also a victim and preparing for a class action lawsuit against Aramark. If you want to be a part of it, my phone number is [protected]@2162212. This legalized THEFT might get away from court, but in this generation, media power won't let them go in a whole skin. So this fundraiser isn’t about achieving $1000 goal. If you’re a victim, leave $10 and contact me. Let’s end the injustice, or at least let everyone know what this company have done. Share my link, I want no more victims in the future.Let's do this together, for justice.
Desired outcome: We need to end Aramark for good. No more victims.
Overcharging and No Services
We used to receive towels via linen service from Aramark. The price became prohibitively expensive so we downgraded to just the mat service. During the pandemic we received service sporadically but were charged for service every week.
The automatic billing without services continues, but now the invoice is different every week. It's like the technician is making up whatever they would like to go on the invoice and billing us with random charges.
The spoke with the district manager once and now she is avoiding calls and emails.
Desired outcome: I would like the bogus invoices reissued and a fair opportunity to exit contract. It's challenging to do business with this level of mistrust with a vendor that is so obviously out for their own interests and not their customers'.
Would you be willing to speak with someone from our company? We have had the same exact experience, it exactly mirrors yours, with 4 service agreement addendums over the same time period.
Deceptive billing, not providing services paid for and deceptive business practice to maintain an account by claiming breach of contract.
Price quoted by sales person 2-1/2 yrs ago was just over $34 a week for towel, mat and bathroom service. In the contract the increase clause has been lined out and initialed by us and the sales person. In the body of the email containing the contract the sales person stated this was done to keep us at the same rate. We now are being charged $55 a week and...
Read full review of Aramark Uniform ServicesUniform services - unethical business practices, after 6 months no attempt to correct trying to extort "liquid damage" fees.
Started service in 2014.
We have 2 accounts with them.
For the past 6 months we have been trying to get Aramark to resolve our issues. Multiple calls, emails with various people, cc'ing their generic customer service and billing emails in the hopes of getting SOME attention.
We requested a different rep and were denied. We requested our contracts, again no reply. Months and months of trying to resolve this.
After zero effort on Aramark's part to resolve the problems and provide per their "service guarantee" they are trying to extort a "liquid damage" fee from our company for finally canceling service.
Aramark has been...
-Periodically forging signatures, pretending they serviced when they did not. Still billing us after being informed we were not serviced and that it was not our managers signature but the drivers scribble, who pretended he serviced us. Harassing us to pay said invoices because "you're under contract."
-Continuing to charge for many returned items, promising to remove them and never doing so. Items we paid for in good faith after being promised credits on the "next one" multiple times (credits which never appeared).
-Delivering ripped/torn and, occasionally, worn-out clothing.
-Taking months to send mats back, sending mats that were completely worn out.
-Refusing to accept returns because the "tags don't match," tags that THEY put in the shirts and scanned. No problem with the tags "not matching" until trying to return the product.
-Refusing to pick up uniforms and continuing to bill us for 4 weeks AFTER we cancelled service.
-Complete and utter lack of communication regarding all the above, and then some. We gave them 6 MONTHS to cure.
-Getting an email 3 weeks after canceling service that simply says "I see you're trying to cancel service but you're still under contract..." from a district manager.
Desired outcome: Cancel contract due to THEIR breach of service without attempting to extort "liquid damage" fees. 6 MONTHS of trying to get them to care or even attempt to cure issues with NO resolution is long enough.
Deceptive billing, not providing services paid for and deceptive business practice to maintain an account by claiming breach of contract.
After almost 10 years of service, Aramark now provides nothing but disservice.
Uniforms come back ripped or not at all, after being tagged multiple times.
A supervisor came to our location and I personally handed him a ripped shirt, it still came back ripped.
After completely removing the ripped sleeve, the shirt came back clean with one sleeve missing.
Our logo mats were purchased yet they still continued to charge rental fees.
This was resolved after months of follow up.
Logo mats sent out for cleaning would not come back for months.
Price gouging on safety nitrile gloves, even after covid supply and demand was no longer an issue. Even representatives from the company recommended shopping on Amazon.
Now, after cancelling the service, they are trying to claim breach of contract and demand over $11,000.00 for an account that serviced less than a dozen workers and 3 floor mats.
Now a very rude collections company (CFRM) is harassing my staff.
I will take any and all legal action against Aramark and be sure that anyone that will listen, knows what a bad service this is and to beware.
Desired outcome: Accept cancellation of contract with no fees due based on serviced not provided that I have already paid for, over many years now.Stop fraudulent legal and collections actions.
Same problems with Aramark, after 8 years of service. See Car Wash review posted today. It's absurd.
Billing keeps increasing
Sales person gave me cheaper quote for towel and rug delivery during pandemic. Now the charges are way higher than when I was with ALSCO and with less service. I complained and someone from the company called threatening me to pay it because I have signed a five year contract. The contract is for the amount I signed and not for the additional increases in fees etc. Bring down my rate to when I signed up! Scammers!
Desired outcome: Bring down the rates!
Unprofessional and racist
I have been working a cafeteria services since February of 2022 in Kipp landing square in camden New Jersey it there was a woman by the name of Myra training the other employees had something against her when she left I became the new target I was told I could speak Spanish I didn’t understand cause I thought I had freedom of speech. This pass week an...
Read full review of Aramark Uniform ServicesThis company is an absolute joke, and I do not use that term lightly.
Our company signed up for Aramark service on 6/26/20. Since that date, I have personally sent and received more than 135 emails concerning billing discrepancies and/or service errors; ie: deliveries missed; products not received and/or services not preformed. This does not include phone calls made and received. Several times we have been promised resolution as well as credits to our account balance, however as of today our account balance remains incorrect. We as a company have exercised extreme patience with Aramark and diligently worked with our representatives in spelling out all concerns and credits we believe are due on our account, yet have reached the end of our rope, for lack of better term. A customer of Aramark should in no way continually have to reach out in an attempt to correct billing errors. It seems Aramark believes if they just ignore the issue that it will go away. We have found their customer service seriously lacking and therefore issued, per our service contract agreement, a WRITTEN NOTICE TO CANCEL on 2/8/22. Today, 4/7/22, we received a letter from Ronnie Spires; General Manager, GA. The letter is rather threatening as it states because we wish to cancel our contract that we will be considered in breach of our agreement and continues with all the charges we would be responsible for upon cancellation. Obviously, Aramark is assuming no responsibility whatsoever on their part for horrible customer service as well as account management. Unfortunately, Ronnie neglected to leave his direct phone number, only the 1-800 number which leaves customers on a perpetually endless state of 'hold'. I feel it should also be noted that this will be the third customer service agent we have had assigned to our account since January of 2022.It is my opinion that any business considering uniform and product weekly services should look elsewhere and not to Aramark for quality customer service
Desired outcome: Complete and total cancellation of our Aramark contract.
Same issues. See Car Wash review posted today.
We are having similar issues with Aramark. Tons of unapplied payments and phone calls to customer service/managers go unresolved. No calls backs ever and no responses via email. I have log of over 20 unresponded requests as well as monthly customer service calls and nothing gets fixed. I submit a cancelation request more than 2 months before as requested only to find out they switched managers and it was not handled properly and now they say I did not submit on time when I have proof of certified letter being sent. I am basically being ignored. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT.
Dirty medical uniform deliver everytime
Unfortunately, we have signed up service with Aramark for our medical uniform. Initially they gave lower monthly cost and like new uniforms. after a month or two, they started charging diffrent higher prices and delivering dirty uniforms with blood stain and very old as medical service, this won't be acceptable and complained multiple time but doesn't make any difference. after a while we have to cancel service due to consistent bad service, now they sent to.collection and charging 10 times what we used for 6-7 months and send collection company and collection company now threaten us to pay... this company us scam.. do not use ever. stay away.
Desired outcome: Still fighting
service
We setup our uniform service back in June of 2021. We never received our uniforms and we received our bill for the first time. I called aramark and explained to them that we never received our uniforms. a month later we received another bill and no uniforms. so i called and explained that we had still not received our uniforms and I wanted to just cancel what we ordered because we never received our uniforms in a timely fashion like they said and a person is as only as good as their word. So here we are in November and i am still receiving statements of a bill for something that was never delivered to us. we do not want your services because aramark never followed thru on their end of delivering their product to us the customer. Thanks and have a great day. Best regards from Shelton Wrecker Service.
Desired outcome: No longer receiving a bill from something was never delivered
Lost Teeth
A resident currently residing at the Iron County Medical Care Facility nursing home placed her teeth in a Aramark towel/or washcloth on October 11th. Staff picked up residents dirty linen and placed in Aramark laundry bag per protocol unaware that teeth were wrapped up in linen. Aramark was contacted the day after we realized what happened and Aramark was aware to look for the upper set of teeth. Resident's dentures were marked with her name per resident. Aramark did bring us an upper set of dentures last week in a plastic baggie labeled Aspirus hospital, which in not our facility nor was the set of dentures labeled with a name. Spoke with Aramark today and the dentures in question have not been found. Resident is upset that they have not been found and would like to file a formal complaint.
Sincerely Kylie Stapleton RN, Risk manager on behalf of Sandy Moln
Email address to reply to: kylie.[protected]@ironcountymcf.onmicrosoft.com
Desired outcome: Assistance in paying for teeth if insurance does not cover all costs.
Uniform rental
Our service with aramark is very bad.. uniforms missing all the time. When weeks they dont show up we get a full charge for service not provided. We will go 2 weeks without uniforms and the director says he cant fo anything about it. We also send out uniforms for repair and they continue to arrive with same issues. Pricing goes up every other week without mention. In my opinion we do not get a service that we pay for. Customer service is bad and so is there company
Breech of contract
To whom it may concern ;
We having problems for over a year. We are being charged for premium towels for throw away towels .They came to our place of business three months ago took every towel in inventory clean and dirty and have never returned with any towels from that inventory. They will not answer our calls and they have been signing our invoices because we refuse to sign. We cannot get any resolution at all and I have contacted every complaint number there is . They are not providing the product they are charging for resulting in Aramark in breech of contact because they are not providing any service as stated on contract . They are not resolving the issue they are ignoring our calls and signing our invoices when we refuse to sign because they bring invoices with no towels therefore continuing to charge for towels not delivered. Towels are the only product we are suppose to receive.
Desired outcome: Termination of contract
Uniform cleaning services
We have had a contract since November 2018 with our Erwin, TN facility. I cannot express the problems we have had but I'll try to leave a quick summary. They don't do the maintenance on the uniforms. They don't return them in a timely manner (7 pairs of pants go out and 1-2 come back.) They smell like they are unclean or have a strong chemical odor. They said they could clean the latex and/urethane from the clothes, we gave them a ruined tshirt to make sure. They can't. We purchased easy care to replace the uniforms they couldn't clean - they won't honor it. They have stated that the Latex and Urethane on the uniforms are 'abuse' so therefore not covered. Very convenient considering we are paying the fee for every uniform we have. Now that we are trying to comply to end our agreement, 'easy out' I remember the manager at the time stated. He's no longer with them, so I can't reach back out to him.
I do want to make note that our Calhoun, GA location is very pleased with Aramark. Apparently, the one in our area is just lacking.
Desired outcome: I want out of our contract. I'm so over them. If they'd like to honor their easy care and replace all of our uniforms without charging us for them, I'd consider staying, even though I'm fed up with them.
uniform and bathroom service
This company has breached there contract with me repeatedly. Driver not delivering items per contract. Shorting me every delivery. I have complained since my inception with them repeatedly over and over agian and again to no avail. The General manager got involved Austin Piske whom is a yes man but does nothing. So I decided to cancel service. I was outside the 12 month obligation. They have sent me to a collections now trying to extort 2300 plus dollars from me when I pay every invoice when its received. Its comical that Aramark is trying to extort money from me. When I told the driver we had canceled service he went into a rage and wrote on the invoice all of these arbitrary charges and handed it to my manager. She told him to take all of his equipement that I still have in a box for them. He refused. I will attach a copy of the unsigned contract.
Desired outcome: Leave me alone, I have impeccable credit, get it out of collections.
Wouldnt stop contract after notification given
If I could give this company a negative rating I would! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM! My non-profit company had a contract with them and chose not to renew at the end of our term. We gave them written notice 9 months prior to the end of the contract. They continued to deliver and charge us after our contract ended, even though we reminded them that we were stopping service with them. They tricked a new employee into signing for things when they came to pick up all the unused items they had left during the time they continued to deliver after we requested the end to the service. They didn't leave anything on that visit, but they charged us for a delivery. We were told by the company that it was their error and they would remove the charges from our account. They did not and in fact, stopped returning our phone calls and emails. They turned our account over to a collection company and stated we were liable for charges for reasons that were not in the contract we signed with them. They refused to work with us. We ended up paying them for the fraudulent charges because it would have cost us more money to take them to court. AVOID ARAMARK UNIFORM SERVICES AT ALL COSTS!
