plant manager
A chemical was released into the air. They finally got the people out. When the police arrived they demanded that everyone remain outside until which time the professionals deemed it safe again. The general manager norm asked for volunteers to return into the building by 10 bc, and I quote "we need to get product out" police found out and yelled etc workers were out again. 25 wound up in the er. How does this man have a job? He doesn't understand osha guidelines, doesn't care about his employees. Criminal what he did, and did so with impunity.
aramark driver spraying peoples cars with...
Some sort of device he had set up on his truck, as cars would drive by he would spray them and laugh about it. Called customer service and they didn't seem to care that one of their drivers displays such childish and dangerous behavior to other drivers on the road. Completely soaked my car with some type of fluid. It appalling that big companies such as Aramark, empower their employees to get can get away with such behavior. As United has shown us yesterday with physically removing passengers off their planes. I guess big business doesn't have to report to anyone. And can justify this type of behavior.
food contamination, allergy, ruined my finals!
Today December 7, 2016 at California State University East Bay, for lunch I ordered orange chicken chow main and honey walnut shrimp at panda express. I have finals this week so I am studying while eating food. their soda was watery and perhaps that was what made my tongue feel tingly. So I kept eating until the last bite and I saw a small mushroom under the shrimp. I told them I was allergic and they pointed me to the health center. The doctor there injected me with epinephrine and I was advised to go home as they were closing soon. But I have a final! I was handed a note to send to the instructor and a bill of $8.60 for the dose of epinephrine. I was advised to go home because it may have an effect of acute tachycardia ending with high anxiety. This is a major subject that, unfortunately, I will have to repeat because of this carelessness! Meaning I wasted months and around $2000+ for classes and $1600 for equipment (books and ebook + mastering physics subscription etc.)! What I noticed during this incident, recently, when food bounces out of the tray landing on the various parts of the work station, they just flick it back into the trey using the scoop. As of right now I am being monitored, because the issue with an allergic reaction is it comes back within 3-5 days of treatment! And I have another final tomorrow! I also have to make a follow up appointment tomorrow at kaiser spending $15 Co pay for their mistake! All in all my quarter was ruined because people were too concerned about throwing out food that was flung out of its tray and on the disgusting work station, that they use various contaminated scoops.

I'm wrote up for allegedly swearing, but when other employees do it im front management their is npt write ups. Doublestandard became management swears right in front of you. Talk to humam resource department, but jason braun listen my complaint amd never returned my request for a investigation. After approximately one month later i'm terminate for allegedly attempting tp consume a few chicken tenders, whichnever occurred.

I called in because I had a migraine and was told by a manager that I had to come into work unless I could get someone to cover for me because a migraine did not constitute a call out. Clearly Aramark is interested in a law suit because if I had been dumb enough to drive with a severe migraine I probably would have crashed by car. Employee safety should be number one not the company policy about whats an appropriate call in because an appropriate call-in is one that puts safety first.

I want to file a complaint against Harriet Pipkin at McKenzie middle school in Lubbock she is rude to the employees and she gossips she is always talking about the students personal lives and the employees lives as well you all have had several workers to quit because of her attitude it make for a hostile work environment and no one wants to work there and last but not least the favoritism she has towards Manuela this is unacceptable and needs to be stopped

lake powell bull frog boat rentals and marina
I just got back from a trip in a houseboat that we rented from Lake Powell Bullfrog Marina. We managed to have a great time but I will never deal with anything that Aramark has anything to do with. It was the worse service and boat. They would not let us use a four wheeler that had carts attached to haul all of our supplies out of our cars to the boat that was very far out in a hot parking lot. They didn't want to sell us a t-shirt in the office off of a manequin because it was already clipped on although it was the only size left that we needed. It took three of us to get the girl in the office to sell it to us. The boat didn't have caps on the sewer tanks so we smelled sewer the whole week we were on the lake. The satellite didn't work so we had no TV. They didn't fill up the fresh water tanks so we were out of fresh water on day 2 of 7. We couldn't reach them on the radio after they said we would always be able to reach them. The toilet in one of the bathrooms leaked. The hot tub didn't work. The water on the slide didn't work. My siblings were on another boat and we were traveling together and their boat was leaking oil into the water and their generator didn't work. My brother got carbon monoxide poisoning. They had to go back in a power boat that we rented to get in touch with them and get another boat. We had to get everything off of their boat and put it in the red clay and rocks and reload on another boat. DON'T RENT ANY BOATS FROM ARAMARK AT BULL FROG MARINA ON LAKE POWELL! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE BOATS!

My mother worked at a hospital in the cafeteria and she had a terrible experience. Management did not do their job. They took the sides of the individuals who were trouble makers. My mom is 60 years old working to pay her bills. She didn't bother anyone but yet there were some individuals that kept harassing her and complaining about her to Management. Management had her sign a paper and she didn't even know what she signed. She signed it because she did not want to lose her job. She would cry everyday. Terrible atmosphere to work in. What goes around comes around. You will all be 60 years old one day. It is sad that people can be so mean and nasty.

Worst job and worst head management I ever had to work with. I am a retired property manager after 32 years and was looking for a part time job to keep me busy. Went to work on a Wednesday morning at Mahomet Seymour high school to take a Certified food service worker and everyone was worried that they couldn't pass the test. Food manager said don't worry we will give you the answers. Passed the test with a 100 percent. I was them given a job to deliver food product to the five schools in the Mahomet area. First of all I found out that the delivery truck had an expired license tag. ( expired 9 months ago} there was no gas in the vehicle so I asked how to use the credit card, no one new so I had to look in the credit card file to fill the van up. I loaded the truck and then went to my 5 delivers. Middletown, Sangamon and Linconland were very happy about my deliveries. Molly the food manager was there, but when I went to the JR High I was meet by to older women who were very abusive to me telling I was very slow and couldn't do my job.. I was told by the the employees she was always that way. Next week same thing happened. I quit that day due to poor management decisions. They only reasons I am writing this letter is due to the next employee might have a family to support, think about that Aramark
unfair evaluation based on speculation not improvements
I recently given an evaluation based on the speculation of my co-workers. Supposedly, how I talk to customers was rude and down right mean. I have never been rude to a customer, no matter what form of public service I was in. How can you base someone's evaluation on what people say, not facts? If you are so busy doing your job, how can you worry about what someone's else is doing on the phone? I'm so tired of the favoritism on the job just because I don't know to be friends with the manager or other workers doesn't mean I deserve to be disrespected. I go to work everyday trying to give the best customer service I can. I admit I have things to work on and we all do. But, I refuse to believe I that I'm blatant down right rude to a customer.
Unfair treatment of an employment/breaking the law
I sustained a severe work injury on July 27, 2016 and an incident report was not filed, which by law has to be filed and I have to sign it. I have yet to see a copy of it. I was terminated for something for something I did not do. I want Trish Hunt, Rochelle Weaver, and Athena Petro all terminated for not doing their jobs . And I want Trish Hunt and Rochelle Weaver to face additional disciplinary action for harassment against me.
Thwy gave me the work of 5 people knowing full well that it takes me longer to complete some tasks because of a broken arm that I suffered almost 2 years ago. Both Trish Hunt and Rochelle Weaver made dispareging comments referring to the fact that Im lazy, and trying to get out of doing my job. In m y opinion, I think they were responsible for the firing of the Director Mr. Tim Williams.
If an incident report was not filled out that is your fault.
Food services
I had an interview for a cook position by Chef Clint Absher at At&T headquarters on Thursday July 14, 2016. Basically, he had me make the soup for Monday's lunch (11 gallons of tortilla soup). Risky move because what if I not been able to cook? All of those ingredients would have been wasted. Anyway, he flat out asked me about my disability after I finished the soup. I was grilled about it and it's limitations. I was put on the spot having to explain Asperger's to him and that it doesn't mean I am ###ed but that I don't have emotions like normal people.
He had told me that on Monday the 18th, I would get paperwork to fill out, background check, new hire paperwork. Monday came and went. Never heard a word. I called left a message. Never heard a word. I know for a fact that the soup I made was sold on Monday at the AT&T account so I was basically used to prepare their food for them. I think this is a blatant case of discriminating against me because of the Aspergers. He never should have grilled me on it the way he did. At the very least, if he changed his mind about hiring me, he should have had the decency to inform me rather than hide. What a pathetic and unprofessional way to behave. I would have an easy case against this company for discrimination. You will be lucky if I don't file a formal complaint.
repeatedly harassed or accused of stealing by cashier
I would like to file a formal complaint about one of the employees at the Nissan/Farmington Hillls, MI location. The employee which I am complaining about is Laura. I don't know her last name, but she is a cashier in the cafeteria for the Nissan Tech Center. I've been working here for almost 4 years, and I've been harassed by Laura at least 4 times.
On Monday (June 13, 2016), at approximately 12:45pm, I went to the cafeteria to get some food for lunch. I got 2 slices of pizza, and I went to the salad bar to get some ranch dressing for my pizza. She saw me, left her register (with a line of people wiating) to come and tell me that if I get something from the salad bar, it needs to be weighed, even though dressing isn't ever weighed. Once ready to check out, I get in line for the other cashier and told her that I had 2 slices of pizza. Laura once again leaves her register to go to the other cashier and tell her, "He has a salad in his box! Ring him up for a salad!" When I denied it (because I actually only had 2 slices of pizza in my box which costs more than a salad), she says, "I saw you! Open your box and show me!" I refused, twice, and she ran to the back, where I can only assume she attempted to get the manager. At this time, I paid for my pizza and left.
The time before that was only a couple weeks ago. I bought a Cherry Coke from the vending machine in the atrium. Then I went into the cafeteria and actually bought a salad this time. Laura was the only cashier working. So I get into her line. As I placed my plate of salad onto the scale, I put my Cherry Coke and ranch dressing onto the counter to get my wallet from my pocket. I was rung up for almost $4. I asked, "How is just this small salad $4?" She stated that it was because of my pop. However, the cafeteria doesn't sell Cherry Coke, which is why I went to the vending machine. I tell her that I bought it in the atrium, to which she responds, "You didn't tell me that!" I say, "You didn't ask." She responds, "Well it was on the counter!" Then I respond, "I had to put my stuff down to get my money out of my pocket". This is when she unprofessionally says, "HERE WE GO AGAIN!"
A few months ago, I bought the "special" from the grill. For whatever reason, they didn't have the cardboard boats which are usually used to carry food in. So my food was given to me on a plate. To better secure it, and help to keep it warm, I placed another plate on top. I go to the register and give my ticket to Laura. She says, "So this is what you have? Just the sandwich?", as she looks at me and then my plate. I respond, "I have what it says on the paper." She asks again, "So you ONLY have a sandwich", still looking at my covered plate. I repeated myself, after which she begins to shake her head as she cashes me out.
Roughly 3 years ago, I went to the cafeteria to get some breakfast. After receiving my food, I placed another plate on top, once again, to help keep my food warm. I didn't have a ticket. I forget if I left it at the counter, or if they didn't give me a ticket. It's very easy to walk off without a ticket and think nothing of it, as I, along with many others that I've witnessed, have done in the past. When I got to her register, I told Laura what I had. She looked at my plate and then went to reach to uncover it. She then stopped herself, and looked at me to ask, "Well can I see?" So I repeated what I had, after which she repeated, "Can I see?" I said, "No! Why?" It wasn't until then that she rang my food up and allowed me to leave.
This is extremely unprofessional, and as I've spoken with coworkers of hers, along with coworkers of mine, it's been told that I'm not the only one that has issues with her. I'm an honest person, yet for whatever reason, she's decided to target me as some sort of thief. I'm to the point where I rather not even go into the cafeteria anymore, just to avoid having to deal with her, if nothing else.
laboratory uniform supply and servicing
Our initial account setup with Aramark was to supply new scrubs and lab coats, and we specifically indicted that we did not want the overpriced service associated with mats. Aramark was unable to supply new garments in a timely manner and agreed to provide used garments until new garments were available, and almost 2 years in to this service we are still being provide with old, used garments. Additionally, Aramark informed us that our account was setup with mats, and changing this would interrupt our service, so they agreed to make up the cost we were being charged for mats with lab coats, however, now that we are seeing additional lab coats provided we have identified an increase in our invoice that indicates it is for additional lab coats ordered.
More recently we needed to setup a clean room account and we were given a minimum charge per week. As we prepared to sign the quote we were informed that Aramark was increased pricing by $50 per week, nationally. I requested they honor the original price quoted and they refused. I have decided to cancel the account and move to Prudential, and I have been waiting for approximately 3 weeks for Aramark to inform me of the buy-out cost, which is what they call it when you close an account.
Aramark seems to feel they have a lock on the uniform services business and good customer service is not required.
general manager
Aramark is a fun place to work for but when the new general manager came in the picture everything gets messed up he had no respect for the employee no positive feed back to us drivers and all he do is rip you in pieces I want corporate to know this because I can't do it anymore we all work hard but his treating us like animals if nobody can't do anything about this new general manager I'll talk to somebody higher or above for help.
uniform service
If there is a problem you can have with a uniform service, we are having it! 1) They have lost about half or our uniforms and are very reluctant to replace the missing items. Every week, we have several items missing from the previous pick up. If we do manage to get replacement items, they are usually delivered without our company logo and have to go back for repair, which takes anywhere from several weeks, to several months. 2) Our deliver is very inconsistent. We are on a weekly delivery schedule. If they are closed for a holiday, it may be two week between deliveries, with no notice 3) When we tag an item for repair, we either never get it back or we get it back with the tag still attached, obviously having been washed with the tag still on it. We usually have to turn the same item in several times, with multiple tags attached, before an item is repaired. This takes anywhere from several weeks, to several months 4) We get a new delivery driver every few months, so we have to keep a list of all ongoing problems to bombard the new driver with when they show up the first time 5) Our invoice is a different amount (sometimes drastically) every single week, for absolutely no reason. For some reason, instead of the accounting department printing off a correct invoice for the driver to bring, they print some random amount and expect the driver to hand correct the invoice, from memory, for the correct amount. Every week it is a battle with our driver(s) to get our invoice "corrected" to the right amount 6) We have called their Customer Service number several times to try and get our issues resolved but have never gotten a call back from anyone that actually works for Aramark 7) We have absolutely no idea if we even have a sales rep anymore. We used to have one, then he quit. We have not been able to get a straight answer on our new rep from anyone we've been able to talk to (the answering service)
3rd shift supervisor named gizella and hr/mgr Victor felix unethical behavior
This is the second time I have submitted a complaint online and either I'm being ignored or the ppl sitting in there nice offices don't care. There has been numerous complaints and active law suites against the management here. And no one from corporate has looked into these matters. Once again I am an employee at northwestern campus. I have witnessed gizella become combative with numerous African American people. Literally getting in there faces, cussing and finger pointing in there faces. Manegment knows but refuses to do anything! The same with Victor felix. I have witnessed along with others the direspect and nasty attitude he has toward the 2nd shift supervisors and the operations mgr. He has told custodial workers not to listen to any supervisors on 2nd shift omr the operational mgr. He is telling employees to look and spy on the management staff which causes friction and unease amongst everyone. I was told when aramark first came to northwestern that, aramark cares about its employees! Impossible! If these ppl are the face of aramark caring then I would rather not be cared for! Its no coincidence that over 10 managers have quit or found new accounts to go too! When will someone come out of there nice comfortable offices in your corporate building and do something about this complaint and all the other complaints on this site? I will continue to submit complaints and call the aramark hotline until someone does something.

I am a worker for aramark northwestern university evanston campus. Since I've been employed here I have been harassed, mistreated, discriminated against, and stalked by co workers sent by management. I have been passed up for higher positions without explanation. Harassed because a family member has a lawsuit against them. There are 3 African Americans in my position and we rarely get complaints from our clients yet in still we're the targets for discipline and neither are developed enough to advance( per John Von Kerens), but when left in charge of any task we succeed with flying colors. The human resource department loses all of your paperwork and threaten you to refill it out. Also their systems are always down therefore they give you false information and holds you accountable for their mistakes. They have the worse attitudes towards employees and are very unconcerned with the well being of workers. This is by far the worse company I've ever worked for and I would advise corporate to look into it. We have lost over ten managers in the course of a two year time frame, meaning, they wasn't fired, they quit. Something is most definitely wrong with that. They suppose to give out Encore awards but our director says it's not in his budget for this sector. So you would like to hear good job at the least. They never say it. This is a very sad account, I don't expect to be here another two months.
gm and manager
I am so tired of the GM in food services being disrespectful to everyone. She's horrible to Aramark staff and advocate staff. She tells us we can't work overtime, which we look forward to for the holidays, and expects the salaried staff to work 60+ hours a week to cover us. She doesn't talk to anyone and rather than being a leader she's more of a bully. I'd like to report her but not sure how I can do that.
