poor delivery times
Due to this strike affecting my government issued cheques, canada post now owes me $397.65 in overdue fees assessed against me by epcor and atco corporations. I rely on these funds to be delivered so I may pay the balance of my utility bills via direct debit. I am disabled and unable to be employed. You need to resolve your internal issues in a timely manner so that the real workers of this nation can function without fear or loss. You aren't inconvenienced by strikes or delays but we citizens who worked hard for our lives are. I survive on a meager $2000.00/mth whereas your employees are making 2-3x that.

Hello my name is Lance Westvelt, i am a business owner in Nisku alberta. I am very unhappy about the disruption in postal services. I do know that the majority of my customers still send payment through the mail. Not happy when i can't pay my bills on time. I won't pretend i know exactly what the strike is about. All, s i know is that if i told my customers that i could not take care of their business, they would probably tell me to hire new workers or, if i can, t supply them, they will take their business elsewhere. Same goes with the workers. Get to work. I, m quite sure many of them would be first in line complaining if services they need are not provided when they need. All we need is more competitor in our local courier service (E.g.: USPS), other than Canada Post and let USA company came in and take over the market. It works also for ICBC for not having a monopoly the local market period.

Please be advised that the postman delivered a parcel to my mail box at the end of my street. Tried to get parcel out and it will not come out - it is too big - to pull out.

Canada post keeps Changing my package delivery date, it's estimated to arrive in three weeks and I have been waiting 1 weeks and 5 business days even though I paid for xpresspost which is next day or 2 day shipping guarantees. Mine was 2 day. They also now refuse to offer a refund for my late delivery due to the strike. The strike is not my fault and if they could not fulfill these guarantees why take people 35$ and leave them with nothing to show for it!

My items have been stuck due to the labor dispute for about an extra 9 business already with another forecast 4, these items I require to repair things for my income and to train for new jobs. Extremely poor service and huge problem over relatively small complaints and mostly greed.

Parcel I need for medical reasons sitting in your Calgary depot for 5 days and not expected to until next Tuesday. Sure glad your bottom line matters more than your customer base, I will be sure to make sure all parcels are delivered via Fed Ex or other delivery services in the future. Sure hope your upper management paychecks from this year are good enough, as I hope this significantly sinks your profit margin. Perhaps you should let customers come retrieve their parcels from your depots, we clearly can do the job better than you. Great holiday season, sure glad your bottom line is worth causing thousands of people financial and medical problems, you heartless people.
I complained regarding my parcel.
I called [protected]. I bought a TV from best buy. They shipping it through Canada Post. The driver went to the wrong house. Said he left a note. I was home and there was no note. I called complaints department as suggested by a lady who works for Canada Post. I spoke to a manager who was contacting Peterborough to have it redelivered. I bought my tv on November 1 st. It is now November 7. I've stayed in my house for 3 days waiting for my TV. Still can't track it. This is how people end up mentally distressed. They get paid very well. For this crap
Canada post said that my item was relieved before the strike and it is a lie. It said arrived before the post office even opened. The people at the post office said that was impossible and it was never even there. Terrible company with terrible services.

End this dispute. Bring in scabs your letter carries are unskilled labourers most people can do their job they are replacable greedy thankless fools. I pay top dollar for shipping so give me what I paid for lock em out bring in scabs and stop their [censored]ing. parcel still not delivered
A parcel was shipped from Amazon Oct 14/18. Went from Mississauga to Stoney Creek on Oct 15/18 (I am in Lindsay). Was returned to Mississauga Oct 16/18 and remains there. Today is Oct 31/18. I put in a ticket to Canada Post, they said if I had not received it by today they would send further instructions. I got an email telling me to contact the sender. How would that help? It's with Canada Post in Mississauga.

I called yesterday to [protected] to mention the problem and even offered a solution for this situation not to happen again.
Once again yesterday, I picked up my mail at that community box and all of my mail was completely wet. Unable to open the envelops and the ones i opened it was simply impossible to read the content. Once again i had to call the senders and have them mailing me them again or emailing me it.
The one I spoke to didn`t even take our name or phone number to ensure this problem which we mentioned to the post office and to you on several occasions, I felt no caring of delivering proper service.

They have installed a plastic basket to protect but it doesn`t work. A cover over that community box would fix the problem as it might stop the wind and rain getting into our boxes. I`m sure not being the sole one having that problem.
We do not expect any refund as most of the mail were documents however we expect you to find a solution if mine is not available for you else we`ll have no choice to advise our correspondents to use the email or another courier service to reach our company.

I am in Calgary, Alberta and I'm experiencing the same problem I called to report the problem on October 11th and have followed up today for a status update. I'm tired of receiving magazines (paid subscriptions) that I can't read and receiving my bills and correspondence in such a state that I can't even make out what they are.

The drivers are lazy and refuse to bring parcels upstairs. Instead, they leave them downstairs by the door where they can easily be stolen. Additionally, they are constantly late delivering (IE. next day after it was supposed to be delivered) and go on strike often. They are most certainly not capable of receiving parcels or delivering to businesses. They are strictly for home/residential use where nothing of significance is being mailed.

package delivery or not at all
I was waiting on a package today. I rearranged my whole day so that I could be here to sign for it since I paid an extra $20.00 to get it express. Did you know that they didn't even bother to knock or ring the door bell but quietly slipped a note on my door telling me where I could pick it up. Didn't feel like carrying it in the rain, I'm guessing. I googled about this and apparently this behavior is very common with their drivers. Disgusted with Canada Post

Supervisor TRISHA was extremely rude and condescending, asking if I knew how to use the internet to track a package! I listed all the information the Canada Post app tracker provided me. I asked for her employee information to file a complaint and she hung up on me. This is unacceptable. In customer service, hanging up on a customer is immediate grounds for dismissal and I hope that she gets what she deserves.

Work mail service ever. I have had 4 packages in the mail for over the past week. Three coming to my community box and one directly to my home. The package I had special devlievered through a different corporation arrived on time just as described. Where as with Canada post the ones shipped to my mail box are over 3 weeks late. I have phoned the distrubtor of my packages and they are tracked to the community box. Whoever delivers my mail is NOT properly doing their job. Will be changing all future delievery methods I'm willing to pay so I actually receive my things!

To canada post complaints board. Called the canada post phone call service center this morning october 21 2018 informed parcel had cleared customs. Later updates online state that at 3 20 pm parcel actually cleared customs but was returned for review at 3 22 pm. Not what canada post phone in center stated when I called in the afternoon. Please investigate this problem and resolve the matter expecting delivery asap. Border services canada aware of this issue.

In April 2018 we moved to a new home. My address is 2 Cimarron Estates Gardens. A week after being here the neighbours that live 2 blocks over began bringing us mail. Lawyers documents, credit card and bank statements, utility bills. Their house number is "2" as well but they are on a different street. The monthly mail deliveries from our neighbours continued up until last month and they have since resorted to marking "wrong address - put in wrong box" on our mail and are now returning it.
This is ridiculous that after so many months our personal mail is going to the wrong address. Canada Post has put us at risk for identity fraud with so many items of mail being misdirected.
Kindly advise how we get this issue corrected as we are tired of having our mail delivered incorrectly and I guarantee the neighbours are tired of getting our mail too. We are all extremely frustrated.

On October 11, I took a parcel to the post office in Yellowknife and requested it be shipped Express Post to Victoria BC (tracking # [protected]). It should have arrived in 2 business days which is what I paid for, but the parcel wasn't delivered to its destination until October 17, which is 4 business days.
I paid $36.70 for Express Post but did not receive adequate service. I feel that some sort of compensation is warranted in the form of a refund.
