Canada Post 9325-62 ave edmonton location

I have been battling this location for weeks about delivering the mail to 11448 71 ave NW in Edmonton, Alberta. The supervisor continues to complain that the walkways are not sufficient enough for there workers to walk on even though we have had newspapers and other mail from other agencies delivered no questions asked. There is no difference in traction from the sidewalk to the walkway but they continue to whine and cry that its not good enough. This has reached a boiling point. Canada Post continues to provoke disturbance in this home and we (my roomates and I) will no longer stand for it. It is not Jamaica Post, it is Canada Post. There employees have a responsibility to expect some sort of snow and to dress accordingly. I want the supervisor and the manager of this location either arrested or terminated for provocation.

Canada Post incompetence

Paid for a parcel from australia, the parcel was 45$ and the delivery fee was 65$. (All the following information is provided by Australia Post tracking) It was mailed on the 4th and arrived in Canada on the 20th at Missiassauga. It was sent to Edmonton, where it went through customs and was scheduled as "out for delivery". Then on the 27th it was marked as "delivery details missing or insufficient". I contacted the sender, they showed me a picture they took of the parcel with my mailing address being correct.
I have contacted Canada Post and tried to open up a service ticket. They closed my ticket without contacting me and when i called them to inquire I was told it "was closed because there is no record of it in Canada Post's computers". I talked to a supervisor, eho looked on Australia Post's website, confirmed that it said that Canada Post had it and told me that I couldn't be helped and needed to contact Australia Post.
I don't have the money for an international call. I barely had the money to pay for my parcel to be delivered. My parcel has been in Canada for over a week and not a single Canada Post employee has entered it into the system. I am very disappointed in our country's mail delivery system. I have always supported Canada Post's strikes and taken the side of the worker...why ?
So that they don't have to do their jobs and so that regular citizens like me can told that Canada Post won't help us when we have a problem?
I want my package, can somebody please help me ?

Canada Post package pickup age verification procedure

Went to Mt. Brydges ON Post Office 2018/12/22 to pick up package #[protected], and was asked to verify my age? The agents name was Stephen. Give me a break ! I am 58 yrs old! At no point was I asked to prove my identity or address, only verify my age. The ID I reluctantly provided did not verify my address only my age of FIFTY-EIGHT! I am offended by this procedure/policy as obviously your employees/agents are unable to think on their own, or use common sense. If I did not need this package for Christmas I would have told them to keep it and left. Just hope you can review your policies/procedures and make the appropriate changes.

Canada Post loss of my package and money

My name is Chris Hoel. I am 59 years old and have been working and paying my taxes dutifully for 40 years. I am shocked to find out that Canada Post is a corrupt and disorganized company. I live at 75 Eastdale Avenue, Apt#1201, East York. On December 4th, the mailman in my building wrote on his records that he delivered a parcel worth $300 to my mailbox. To this day, I have not seen the package. He made all kinds of excuses that sounded like cover stories (to investigator). I believe the postman stole the package. He said he "misplaced it". The nightmare gets worse. I have spent the last three weeks trying to get CP to cough up the money, give it to sender so I can get another package sent to me. To say I got a run around from supervisors and customer service agents is an understatement. Worse is that they give opposing information. One supervisor says I will only get $100 back. The "investigation" goes on. It looks like I wont get repaid or my parcel. By all means ignore this letter. Canada Post's days are numbered. This is a bloated, evil and corrupt organization that will fall when Canadians see what is really going on. Yes they have royally screwed me. I hope they are proud. In this age of social media, they will be exposed for the scoundrels that they are.

Chris Hoel

Canada Post delivery of ordered products

I ordered two hoodies a few weeks ago.

I had tracked them until they hit Canada, where I could not find a tracking number for them.

These two hoodies where ordered together, shipped out together, received in Canada together, and then I only had 1 hoodie delivered at my place of employment on December 17th.

I tried to talk to someone via the chat- and she was alittle ignorant. She also kept asking me what the tracking number was, and I told her I didn't have one. A little clueless I would think, as I repeated myself at least 3 times.

All I have, is the information that was on the sticker of the hoodie I did receive. Will that help? As I tried to reach the shipper, but as they are in China- they have not responded yet. As we had items go missing from our home post office boxes, I had my gifts sent to my work. Where is the second gift I ordered?

Canada Post parcel returned to sender by mistake

I had been having issues with this one package from the get go but Canada Post made the problem 10 times worse. First, it took forever to be shipped from Amazon (which is a whole other issue in itself), and when it finally was, there were all the Canada Post delays causing it to miss the delivery date by two weeks (at this point it had been almost a month since I had placed the order). I had been tracking it every day and finally saw that it was getting close. On Sunday, December 16th I received an email saying it had arrived at the post office ( I didn't want it to be delivered to my home as its a Christmas gift and didn't want it to be seen). On Monday the 17th I go to the post office after work to retrieve it only to be told that it was returned to sender because I "hadn't picked it up in time". I showed them the email that I had received only the day prior, which also specified that I had until the 30th to pick it up. They refused to listen to me or to look at my email saying that no I was wrong it had been there since November 29th, which was impossible since I had called Amazon around that time to ask them what was happening with the package as it hadn't been shipped yet. When I asked the employees whether it had been returned to sender after only one day by accident, one of them aggressively responded with "If you have a problem you can come speak with the manager tomorrow during the day but you didn't pick it up time so there's nothing we can do. Bye", which was shocking. I called Canada Post once I got home and the employee I spoke with was way way way more helpful. He said that it had in fact been sent back by an employee of that post office by mistake (so I was correct) and would file a complaint for me, apologized about it, and said he would try to stop it from going back to the sender (at this point it was already back at the nearest facility as it had been sent back to sender from the post office that morning at 1030, . Less than 24 hours after it had arrived). I contacted Canada Post today as I saw that if was still at this same facility two days later and they said "there's nothing we can do" even after I mentioned it had been their mistake. Called Amazon and they're sending a replacement ...just hoping Canada Post doesn't mess up again. This is the craziest thing I've ever gone through, delivery-wise and the fact that they were rude, unhelpful and aggressive at the post office is even crazier. Still trying to understand how this mistake was made and how the package was accidentally returned literally a few hours after it had arrived.

Canada Post canada post needs to go

I think the government should fire everyone at Canada post and let them go get a job with their non-existent skill set in the private sector and see if they'll even find a job.
These people have had it too good for too long. It has to stop.
What kind of a scumbag would think doing this to people during the busiest time of the year was a good idea?
I for one am willing to do without mail service for as long as it takes to get rid of this insane service and put in place a service like U.S. Postal service. They even have Saturday deliveries!

Canada post is the worst company ever all they do is make fake promises, dont deliver packages but do give out lots of delivery cards stating they attempted, even had one guy come with package and when we answered he said oh I forgot something went back to his truck then left with my package. Customer service just lies and hangs up on you after making useless promises so who can help with this corporation as they seem to do whatever they want or dont want.

Canada Post retail locations

We are forced as business customers to use a Canada Post location at Canadian Tire confederation mall in Saskatoon. This location is always understaffed and wait times for posting is exceedingly long. I am standing currently in line with 25 persons in front of me and only one person working! As I use this location very frequently and di real8ze that it is staffed by Canadian tire employees there is no excuse for understaffing such a busy location. Canada Post must take responsibility for the inadequacies of such practices. The wait times twice just this week alone has been 45min each occasion. I spoke with customer service at Canadian Tire and they have stated that they only need one persin at the postal location. As a business person who has to use this location as it is closest to my home (56 km) it is not right that this behaviour is accepted by Canada Post. Please advise on changes to this your are going to make. I have no issue sending the pictures date stamped etc with the lineups to our local MLA etc to elevate this total incompetance.

Canada Post backed up service

Hello,
I have been waiting for my DHL package for some time now. I have been told due to the strike everything is packed up.
Get with it Canada Post and deliver packages that people need this time of year! All your strikes do is put the public against you. Unions are OUTDATED anyway. The days of Norma Rae and employees being treated unfairly are over at Canada Post and many other unionized companies.

Canada Post hi

Hi there, I understand that the people who work here feel they are being treated unfairly feel the need to strike again like they do every year, but all this does is screw over the public, not Canada post. I pre ordered a sweater on oct 28th 2018, paid an extra $60 for express shipping and i did not receive my mail until nov 20th, and now have no way of getting my money back for the paid faster shipping, when i checked my tracking you people were holding my mail for weeks in toronto instead of giving me what i paid almost 300 dollars for including the express shipping, i also pre ordered a book half a year ago, it was to be delivered this week and the email i received states that it would here yesterday, then i get a second email that your interruptions will delay my parcel again, im beyond fed up with you people, you are beyond selfish, [censored]ing over the public for things they paid for so you can get an extra buck is asinine, you have no compassion for the fact that people rely on mail and parcels to be delivered, why even [censored]ing stay open if you don't deliver mail and then call yourselves a postal service, because of your inability to perform the simple task of taking something and putting it on a porch or in a box i and other are now out money we didnt need to spend, so how does this work? Because i want my money back, i and a rally of angry windsorites are going public with our frustrations, the news agencies will be contacted in great detail about how i and many other who stand with feel we are the ones being striked against and we did nothing wrong, your strike is [censored], be adults, go to work like the rest of us and do your [censored]ing jobs instead of pandering for an extra dollar every year.

Canada Post late parcels while still paying for express post

I'm just writing this today to express how disappointed and dissatisfied I have been for the last month with your services. I understand there's a strike. And things will take a bit longer than usual. I can deal with that. I'm a very understanding person. But when I'm paying for express delivery and non of my packages are arriving until 2 weeks later I start to get upset. Now I'm loosing money and customers are pissed off cause they can't get there product in time to put on there shelves. I ordered supply's that usually take a day to get here. They don't arrive for over a week! Why am I paying for express post? Is that express? I simply don't understand it. 90% of the packages I've sent out are within an hour and a half drive and yet they don't get delivered for 2 weeks and I'm still getting charged for the full pop!? I don't come in and do one or two transactions. I buy my supply's from can post and send out ten to twenty five packages all with tracking and expresspost. Lately I've totally felt like I've been scammed out of money by your company.

Canada Post non delivery by mailman

Canada Post customer service claims they do not deliver if you live above the second floor. If your mailman delivers to you, it is because they feel like it.
I'm not sure how millions of people are supposed to get their mail. The customer service claims that I have to tell the sender of mail -- every single time -- to put my phone number as a note in order to get a call from them, otherwise they are not obligated to call me and tell me my mail is there.

Canada Post smartmail marketing campaigns

September 28, 2018- sent pdf postcard to Gilmore Printing for printing
October 16/17, 2018 - Gilmore Printing delivered postcards to Canada Post
Took about 8 business days for postcard to arrive at urban address; and an additional 6 to 12 business days (14 to 20 days) to arrive at rural address;

Postcards have been received multiple times at some urban addresses--why does this happen? We paid for a set number of postcards when they are delivered to the same address we are not getting what we paid for.

The use of the postcards was for residents in Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington to enter a survey to receive a free radon testing kit. There were hard deadlines for this campaign (a campaign that had undergo ethics review)

Canada Post canada post strike

It is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting that you would choose to strike just before Christmas, but then that's why you did it isn't it? So you'd get what you wanted! If you wanted to go on strike, you had the rest of the year to do it!
I'm a Canadian living overseas and my family and I don't get to see each other often. We all look forward to receiving cards/presents during Christmas and it makes me angry and very sad to know that on Christmas morning, none of us will have anything to open from each other. My Father will also have nothing from me for his birthday in January.
Just think of all the kids that won't have presents to open because gifts parents have ordered for them will not be delivered, and all of their little letters to Santa that won't get delivered.
You should be ashamed of yourselves! I will choose to use courier from now on as you are such a disappointment!
How dare you do something like this now. I bet if the tables were turned, you would be fuming! NEVER again will I use your service! YOU SELFISH GREEDY [censored]!

I think we all need to just constantly call and email Canada post for every single item we order or send and just overload their customer service center, and people close to the head offices of Canada Post should go directly to the office and complain daily until their stupid useless ignorant greedy a** clown workers get back to delivering all our f***ing mail... stupid f***ing workers going on strike just before Christmas, the nerve of these f***ing workers I swear to god I have no sympathy, patience or respect for any Canada post employee right now after receiving this email...all the people this stupid crappy CUPW strike has affected makes me outraged to no end knowing that millions of people's gifts, letters, cards, etc will not be arriving in time and even my gifts to my mother will not be here before Christmas as it is also her birthday, but oh no its okay you can always fork out more money on other postal delivery options that are 5 times the cost of Canada post fees "F*** THAT, YOU F***ING PAY THE SHIPPING!" the nerve of you Canada Post to suggest this is appalling and down right disgusting, glad you care about your customers so much to spit in their faces like this. Office workers that run on strict deadlines, Military, Police, Lawyers, Doctors, Pharmacists, and mainly the people that pay your god damn wages...all of us are affected by your f***ing ignorance, if you don't like your f***ing job then there is this thing called the 30 day notice, maybe CUPW staff/members if you don't like the conditions F***ING QUIT! at least then the company would be free to find replacement staff that would be willing to do your job and I am pretty much guaranteed that they would do it a hell of a lot better than what you are showing us right now. Here is a hypothetical situation you need to take into account, if you don't have people using Canada Post services, what happens to Canada post shares? what happens to the value of the company? what happens when there isn't any money to pay for your salaries/wages? Personally if I was the person in charge at Canada post I would have just fired all of you and hired new employees while laughing, not giving a damn about any repercussions from that choice, I also would have made sure they were not members of CUPW seeing as your all self centered anyways, but that's just my opinion but back to the stuff I am waiting for...

I will be one of the people phoning in to the customer complaint department's head office everyday on the first late package and then every day after that until it shows up, I say we all do that, may be small effort but at least it's something...like a fire ant, I may be small but my sting is mighty-aka-my voice

Canada Post condition of parcel received

Today, November 26, I received a parcel sent to me by Indigo. Although it appears that the gift inside has not been damaged (I have not opened it because it is a Christmas gift) the parcel box side was torn and two corners on the top of the box were ripped. It also looked like there had been tape added to it to keep it together. I am not expecting any kind of retribution but this kind of service is unacceptable and in the middle of strike action this is particularly disturbing.

Canada Post parcel service

Took 3 weeks to find the limited edition item I'm looking for desperately and finally found a location with one in stock. Item was shipped November 21 and has been delayed 3 times until 25th, then 27th and now delayed again until 29th. This should have been a maximum 4 days in transit. Canada Post can do nothing at this point to resolve this issue other than deliver my parcel. I have decided I will never, ever have anything sent to me by Canada Post again.

Canada Post rules for lettermail

I have sent many mailers in Canada over the past year with regular lettermail postage. They follow your rules defined by your website, they are smaller then 9 x 6 inch and always fit through the slot at the post office. Why are you now returning them too me? Again i have sent hundreds out before that have made it to their destination. What has changed and why are you not accepting them according to your own rules.
