CVS Pharmacy call-in Phone Live

i am a Physician who just recently called the store off of Santa Monica Blvd. at #[protected] to verify a dying patients prescription on a Saturday afternoon. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes, i finally decided to hang up and call back to speak to a young woman in the Photo department, who was able to clarify that the pharmacy department was not answering my call because they were preparing to close in 5 more minutes at 4:55pm. Not answering the phone on the work place (especially at a pharmacy) on purpose is a serious matter that should NOT be swept under the rug. What kind of Pharmacist doesn't see himself as someone of authority and responsibility?

Desired outcome: i am requesting that s supervisor speak to this Pharmacist (who I'm sure is scheduled on Saturdays quite often) and remind him to value his position.

CVS Employee treatment

My wife works for CVS and her store manager has been scheduling her alone to close the store. I refuse to leave my wife in a 5,000 sq ft store alone at night in a resort town off a major highway and this company LIES and hides and refuses to deal with something that has been reported to me as being a violation of specific company policies regarding store employees being left alone at the store. I have tried to reach out to CVS, to call and contact someone regarding this, including her "district leader" but have had ZERO success due to the top notch job they do at HIDING themselves behind a bunch of b.s. propaganda. it is embarrassing to read their corporate drivel about responsibility and safety and being a wonderful place to work when i've seen nothing but high school drama, ignorant dangerous company policy and action. They are nothing more than a corporate facade chasing a profit at the expense of their employees. Since this started i have legally, quietly and with no interruption to business sat in a private parking lot (which CVS does not own) to monitor my wife while she closes this store alone. . . her manager has proceeded to threaten her job and throw one write up attempt after another at her. . . today, she was written up for supposedly taking a 30m break (last week) instead of a 15m. . . she was also written up for not finishing some compulsory woke training that her manager kept them locked out of until the last possible moment, making her attend it at home after the 'required completion date/time' . . .i can not stress how much this company has a detached two faced executive / administrative arm that is on auto pilot content to peddle lies on their website while endangering employees, tolerating abuse and harassment towards employees. it is absolutely unconscionable that my adult, capable, loving and loyal wife is so stressed and tormented by this nonsense and this company does nothing.

Desired outcome: for someone to do their job and what they purport to value on their website and their employee handbook.

CVS Passport photos

Dear Sir/Madam

We were planning for a trip, realized need a new passport as it was about to expire. So came to CVS, my favorite store located @ 4424 Treat Blvd Concord. Got the picture taken, looked good in the store, when we came out of the store saw the picture in the day light, it was not as expected. It was on 4/20/2023 around 9.45am. I paid with my credit card & used my $5.00 coupon too.

Immediately return to the store, spoke with the lady, she looked at the picture and said there is nothing wrong with the picture, it's normal to have shades as we get older. She declined to take another picture because another picture will be the same again so no point in taking another one. She would give credit to the amount charged but not return the $5.00 coupon back. Her tone of voice was rude and unwarranted.

Immediately we went to Staples, next door to CVS. they took a perfect passport picture with no shade; their price was $12.00 lot cheaper than CVS, who charged $16.00.

I have been a regular customer at this CVS for many years, they have always been very good and enjoyed my shopping over there. But this incident with this lady causes hesitant to return to this store again.

Hate to write complaints! this time I have no other choice but to voice my displeasure.

CVS Communication with store

My Dr. called into CVS Middletown Rd. Pearl River NY- a prescription I needed..that was on April 3rd 2023 12 noon. After a few days I called CVS Pearl River store which was an automated voice-I was told my prescription was in process. I called every few days and the same response. I then pressed the digit to speak with someone. He looked it up and told me the prescription was on back order. After another week (now its several weeks) I called again and was told the drug was discontinued. What? That was April 18th. No one thought to call and inform me. I said what should I do? He said call other pharmacies and see if any have it in stock. Don't you think they should have done that 3 weeks ago? I did , and found one that had it in stock. That store said to call CVS again and send the prescription. I called CVS again and the wait time to speak with someone was over 15 minutes. The person I spoke to said - we don't do that , the pharmacy has to call us and request. I now had to call the other store back again and they promptly called and got the prescription. The other store was Not a CVS! I finally got the prescription filled on April 19. Originally the second store didn't have the amount needed to fill my prescription but they did call other stores and within a day I had my prescription ready. I will Never use CVS again!

Desired outcome: those employees need additional training!!!!!

CVS Medications and mental illness

Your company has allowed covid-19 experimental MRNA, gene altering shots to be given without properly informing the public of the potential risks. You have allowed people to make uninformed decisions about their health and the possibility of death. You blocked doctors from prescribing effective medicines such as hydroxychloroquin an ivermectin to help them. You forced mask wearing which did nothing to stop covid-19 .

CVS Pharmacy

The pharmacy at Continental Mall Green Valley AZ is closed! No warning! No way to talk to a person-just the damn recording. We received an email that my husband’s heart medication was put on hold and that we needed to call the pharmacy. We call-they’re not open! He is in need of this heart medication twice daily and is at the end of his prescription. The Cleveland Clinic called in the new prescription-now we cannot get this prescription-because this pharmacy is closed!?!?!?! If something happens to my husband because his medication was not obtainable-this is on you CVS! If pharmacy needed to close then an alternate CVS should have been available for patients ! I am terrified that something will happen now!

CVS Medicine

I am a frequent customer at the CVS in Jacksonville, Florida, located at 9509 San Jose Blvd. On Thursday, April 6, 2003 around 4:00 pm or a little after, I went to pick up my medication because I was on my way out of town and I knew I would need all of it. I suffer with Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, and I also have a degenerative disc and I use pain patches for my back. I pulled through the drive through to get my medication and after he gave it to me I advised him he didn't give me all of it. Grant it, I had to wait in line behind another customer and I was a little tired of waiting on them, but everyone is important and need their medication(s) just as I needed mine. Before my transaction was completed, the employee asked if I had a card on file and I began to give him my rewards phone number and he looked funny and I stated I'm sorry I thought you were asking for my rewards number. After I received my medication, I advised I didn't have it all he asked what was I missing, I advised my patches. He stated he didn't see anything about them and for him to look it up I had to get out of line and drive around again. I stated there are 5 cars behind me and you want me to drive around when you're going to have to look it up anyway, he stated yes! I was very upset and I told him it didn't make sense. He advised he could not help me any further and I was literally upset! His actions were very upsetting and I decided to pull around and go inside. After going inside, there was a line and I just couldn't wait any longer, so I decided to leave without my patches and was very thankful I had a few at home. I really feel that we as consumers choose where we want to spend our money and we do so to keep them with a job. Grant it, employees have bad days, but their job is to serve the public regardless of how busy the store is or how many customers you have in the store. This has made me want to really change my pharmacy.

Desired outcome: Employees need 2 know what they sign up for & the workload that comes w/it when working in a pharmacy. They should know that some days w/be busier than others & their job is to assist every customer that keeps them employed.

CVS The pharmacist

My insurance is giving me a hard time filling my prescription this month cuz in February cvs put it threw my insurance on the 9th of February when I picked it up on the 15th and I couldn't have picked it up on the 9th even if I wanted to (which i didnt want nor never tried to do) because it would have been way to early to fill so I called 4x today and spoke with the same rude ignorant women pharmacist who every time gave me an attitude who tried to lie to me and tell me that insurance companies call them they don't call insurance company's finally I convinced her she said she would call them supportable she called me back within 5 mins saying she called insurance said couldn't do it I call insurance they said they never called I called back cvs gave them new # & a name this time called me back in 2 mins asking which department I called insurance again & this time we did a 3 way call to cvs at 730pm I'm guessing u have caller ID cuz no 1 would pick up I've gone without my medication for 2 days now cuz of this this pharmacist was extremely rude yelling at me saying I'm to busy to call and this is last time I'm calling 1st time even said oh ill call ur insurance now to tell them how stupid u and they r and hung up on me and for them to not answer the last time when it rang for 20 mins is bs this is there mistake and it making me go without my medication I asked the lady 1 time to not give me attitude cuz it's not me it's insurance & u guys put in wrong date oh I got hung up on that time to this is absolutely wrong I provided my recent call record showing it rang for 8mins and secs where no 1 picked up got ignored guessing cuz they saw caller ID that it was me + how many times I had to call today to try and get this issue fixed & it's still not fixed

CVS The pharmacy dept

I have been getting my scripts from CVS for years. I get a pain pill and I have never had any problem getting them on time every month. This past month, when I was at the doctor office, they had told me that a lot of their patients are having problems with CVS. The CVS pharmacy is telling them that there is a short supply of this particular pain medication. But it's funny how it seems to only be happening at CVS. The doctor office said there is no short supply at all. I was at CVS on Rt 9 Little River SC yesterday, April 12 to see when my scripts were to be filled. They told me they would be ready on Wednesday, April 19 and they would have no problem filling it. My doctor called them to have them fill it on Tuesday, April 18 since I am going out of the country and need my script. I called the CVS pharmacy today April 13, after my physician called the pharmacy and asked them to please fill the script on April 18 and after being on hold for 15 minutes, twice, they told me that my meds were out of stock and have been for months. It's funny how just 3 weeks ago they filled mine and every month before that. There was no shortage. I think you need to look into this and see where the problem is.

CVS 2 items I ordered and is still on delayed shipment

I placed this order for 2 items for sinus, allergy medication, Benadryl, and Clariton. I needed this medication sap that is why I placed order with CVS. If I had any idea it would take this long, and meanwhile I am suffering with my sinus, I would have placed my order elsewhere. Last I check, items were still in Atlanta, Ga. with no updates on when to expect delivery.? CVS Pharmacy staff

I was calling in a prescription for a patient. I work at a physician's office. When calling in the prescription the pharmacy tech picked up the phone and was very crabby. Her demeanor was very unprofessional. I have called in a million prescriptions and have never had anyone talk to me the way she did. There was a issue with prescription not being in stock and having to substitute a prescription. When speaking to her she had attitude. I did confront her and ask her if there was some kind of problem and was told " THIS IS NOT A COUNTRY CLUB! I told her I work in healthcare, and I know it's not a Country Club and that I also work in healthcare and would never speak to anyone the way she was speak to me. I asked her name, and she told me Lilian and then she asked my name in which I gave and told her she asked me that in the beginning and if she was not so rude and negative, she would of heard my name at the beginning. She then asked me the prescription again and still had the same attitude and did not hear even what I had to say and ended up calling back to get the information for the prescription. I also am a customer of CVS and never have I come in any contact at the pharmacy of anyone being so rude. I talk to numerous patient's a day, and you can hear in someone's voice if someone is crabby. Your tone is everything. And to be told this is not country was very unprofessional. My Coworker sitting behind me could not believe it.

Desired outcome: Lilian to be taught proper communication skills with patients and clients. Maybe take classes on customer care or if having a bad day stay home or take a 10 minute break before answering the phone.
