The wait time for reaching the pharmacy by telephone is atrocious. I waited over 20 minutes on 3/12/21. This is a frequent problem with this store. It appears they are always understaffed. This appears to be an ongoing problem at this store location. When calling in one has to listen to the inane recordings about how important one's call is and telling me all my problems will go away if I visit CVS.com.

My son, William Hubbard, went to see MD at Johnson Health Center on 3/4 and MD started him on new prescription Folacin for ADHD 15mg which was sent to CVS in Altavista Va. He called the next day and the pharmacy staff states it needs pre-auth. from ins company . Several days later we had not heard anything we contacted MD and spoke with pharmacy at CVS Timberlake Lynchburg to get the script transfer ( Timberlake CVS states that Altavista Pharmacist put a block on it so it could not be transferred) They also (Altavista) also told us we could not even pay for the medication we had to wait for insurance denial first? I even got a text message on my phone [protected] on Thurs 4th it was pending approval. Today 3/11 I went to CVS Altavista again thru drive thru window, when I asked about medication they tell me "They never received prescription from MD" they have nothing in the system. That was definitely a lie because I received a text on 4th which state it was pending insurance approval and the Timberlake CVS could see it too in their computer system. Mr. Rose? the Pharmacist is the most Rudest pharmacist I have ever met. This is not the first time I have issues with Altavista pharmacy. I have been a RN for many years and dealt with many pharmacists he is the worse I ever ran across. I am transferring my meds and family meds to another pharmacy. I think you better be looking into his practices ( such as deleting scripts) I hope you can resolve this issue immediately . I need the prescription to take elsewhere to another pharmacy.

With how wealthy the CVS Company is I don't understand why the stores have so little help that whenever I come to pick up medication I am in line for almost an hour. The lines are huge inside and outside, and trying to get to speak to someone on the phone is impossible. The company should put some money into staffing before we all give up on the whole company.

Ashley Richards Pharmacist at this location shouldn't be dealing with any customers. She isn't pleasant, wasn't helping to solve an issue with a prescription that they've been out of and claim they can't order it. Unprofessional, lacks customer services, isn't motivated to help when asked. At your Plant City store by the hospital. The store manager monitoring your parking lot on Monday 3/8/2021 is a jerk. He doesn't have any logical sense. I will encourage people to steer clear of that store. My daughter and I dropped off mom at a clinic for some minor surgery. Nervous and anxious my wife kept her key fob, which we need to start the car (it's a push-button starter). Arriving at the CVS we realized she had the keys. It was a short walk to the clinic but your manager warned us we might be towed before we got back. I explained our situation and intentions and he repeated his threat. He was obviously the only one concerned about our car who would call a tow truck. I told him I would stay and wait for the truck and give that guy my sob story. Then the jerky manager says "Well, if it's close you can walk there and come back." I explained (loudly) that's what I just told him. As we were walking away he repeated his threat to have my wife's car towed. He is a terrible representative of your store. He was being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk. You are crazy to have that kind of nitwit managing your store. My daughter got a very distant shot of him.
