Getting in touch with someone about a charge on my bank card
19th June for £59.99
A work colleague who has left the company booked a flight with permission on the 19th July - either from Dublin to Bristol or Lithuania to Dublin.
I am trying to claim back money from my place of work but I can not with out receipt - I need to get some details to be able to claim back my money, I have been trying to speak to someone since June with no avail - PLEASE HELP

I am writing about my recent experience as it certainly does not meet the expected quality of service. I am by this message, expressing my displeasure and disappointment at the action of KLM. I arrived at the airport this morning 07 September, 2022, to board my flight Nigeria to see my sick mother.
To my surprise and disappointment, I was refused boarding because, I don't have a Transit Visa since my connecting flight is from Amsterdam.
I have contacted the booking agent as advised by KLM customer check-in agent at the airport to get a resolution and see if there can be any rescheduling. I have been engaged with series of back and forth movement with eDreams and KLM customer services on the telephone, this has been no solution.
I have asked for a flight reschedule and it was rejected. I have asked for a refund of my money since the airline insisted I cannot travel without a transit visa, same was rejected. All my request has been turned down. Please, I cannot forfeit this money or lose the money just as it stands. Not in this obvious economic hardship.
I was not the one who insisted or asked for a cancellation of the flight, the airline did for a reason, but that should not result to me loosing my money. I was not asked for a Transit visa in the process of booking the flight, I was also not hinted about the possibility of a transit visa, I was not asked to provide a transit visa all through the checking processes online, prior to the flight. There was no way I could have known of this transit visa requirement. I am a holder of UK Permanent Resident Visa. eDreams did not inform or asked me about Transit Visa even when they clearly knew my flight was connecting through Amsterdam.
These actions and decision has really got me devastated and has put me in state of trauma as I have been unfairly treated as a customer. This has also impacted on my finances because I had to find an alternative ticket just to see that I embark on this journey to Nigeria solely to see my sick mum in the hospital and to deliver the required medications. I was left stranded and helpless at the airport as I had no money with me for accommodation or to get a fresh booking to go see my sick mum.
Please, see how my refund can be processed as I cannot lose this money for no reason caused by me.

Unable to correct the spelling mistake
My Auntie booked their flights to Thailand with eDreams but their is a spelling mistake on their air ticket booked via #eDreams. The mistake was only 1 letter on their name. Although the policy allow minor change but they won’t do it even though the #EVAAir and #ThaiSmile said it’s possible to make a change. When we ask if we can cancel the ticket in order to re book eDrems told us that they won't be able to make any refund for us.
We rang eDream customer service team and 2 of they teams member ensure us that the possible to do it and asked as to wait for email confirmation for the next step, however when the email arrive it said otherwise!

booking mistake
i was booking with qatar airline thought edream travel agency for 03 people from phoenix usa to ho chi minh city vietnam.on the returning flight i chatting to changed the flight day to two week later, they said it ok and give me the day, i went to qatar website picked up seat number and see the day that i go back to usa corrected.02 week later when went to the airport my ticket not book, they said that edreams did not paid and completed booking. i contact edreams with no answer, i have to book with diffirent airline to go home its horrible, do not know where to make complaint
Customer service follow up/complaints
Yet more 'passing the buck' from the airline industry, be aware that if you book your holiday through eDreams, they will be happy to book the flights etc, however if something goes wrong with any of the companies they work with and book you with, then do not expect any help from eDreams!
They will try and tell you that it is your responsibility to contact the airlines who let you down, thankfully I have been in touch with the International Consumer Helpline and it is quite clear that eDreams are responsible for any issues that may arise. The contract is with them, and it is their responsibility to take up any problems on your behalf.
They may take your money off you in booking the flights but then if you need to rearrange the return flight they will tell you that it is up to you to then contact them?
Completely wrong and completely disgraceful that they immediately wash their hands of anything going wrong. I have already written to the CEO and am awaiting an official reply from someone of senior management to tell me that they will take responsibility because it was eDreams who booked us with the different airlines.
Do not let them try and bully you or kid you into thinking that it is up to the customer to send 15 emails and 4 letters to Vueling Airlines in trying to get the monies back, it is up to eDreams to take the matters into their hands asap. These companies just think you will go away...don't they?
Desired outcome: A full refund of the initial flight with Vueling, a refund of the £373 we had to pay to easyjet to get home from Paris, plus the £61 we lost on the national express bus we should have been on, instead of being stuck in Orly Paris
Refund Process
I booked my flights through eDreams and paid for cancellation insurance. I had to cancel my flight that was due to leave Dublin-Paris on the 6th January and return on 13th January due to contracting covid-19. I subsequently booked the same flights for the following week when I was able to travel. I cancelled my flights through eDreams on the 3rd January immediately after testing positive. I received an email from eDreams saying that they processing my cancellation of eDreams booking: [protected] and they would let me know as soon as they have a significant update for me. Since then at any point of contact with them I have been told that they are waiting for the airlines to release my refund.
I have been waiting for my refund for 9 months so called eDreams today. They advised me that they are still waiting for my refund to be released and to contact the airline and the insurance provider directly myself to ask for my refund to be released. The insurance provider requires a "cancellation document issued by the website where you booked the trip, specifying the number of people cancelling the trip and the amount that was finally reimbursed". I called eDreams back and have just been told that there is no evidence that eDreams cancelled the flight, so the airline provider was not informed and the flights were not cancelled. I told the operative on the phone that I was looking at the email saying they were processing my cancellation and she just kept on repeating that there is nothing on their end to prove it, even though the email said that they were processing my cancellation of booking.
So I paid for flights and flight cancellation insurance through eDreams, was forced to cancel my flights and was informed by eDreams that they were processing the cancellation for me and would get back to me. eDreams did not process my cancellation like I was told, meaning that I am unable to claim a refund through the insurance that they sold me. I think the fault lies with eDreams in this situation and would like to receive my refund from them.
No notification of a required document (Health Pass) to go through Manila
I booked a flight from Athens, Greece to Sydney, Australia with eDreams.
Edreams was bad in NOT sending me my itinerary (Flight information - times, flight numbers etc.), also NO invoice sent for the flight/ticket.
Luckily, the airlines (Gulf, Cebu) sent me that information (Flight numbers, dates/times).
Apart from this, they did not notify me of a required document (Health Pass) to go through Manila, so, at the airport, they would not allow me to board my flight, GF42, without that 'Pass'.
Needless to say i had to buy another ticket to get a flight back to Australia.
I am seeking FULL refund (AUD$1389.82) of what i paid for that ticket & those flights.

Having to wait over 2 years for a refund/travel credit
Booking reference number [protected] - flight from Queenstown (NZ) to Brisbane (AUS) 16 July 2020.
This flight was cancelled due to COVID. I have been attempting to get a refund for this flight for over 2 years. I have numerous occasions been told that my "issue" has either been escalated or will be sorted within either 24, 48 or 72 hours and it was never "sorted."
About a month ago I contacted Virgin who gave me a travel credit for 2 of the 4 tickets. I contacted Virgin today to find out what was happening with the credit for the other 2 tickets, only to be told that 1 outstanding ticket needs authorisation from eDreams - I was given a travel credit for the third ticket.
I had to end up contacting Virgin as I was getting nowhere with eDreams - constantly being told to wait. I was hoping to use the refund to purchase new tickets for travel to NZ this month however, that never happened. I had to borrow money to purchase new tickets. As I was constantly being told my issue would be resolved (which it didn't), I waited too long to purchase new tickets and ended up having to pay a higher price!
Having to constantly contact eDreams to ascertain what is happening with my refund and constantly being told to wait, that my issue would be resolved, etc. has caused undue stress to me and I would appreciate some compensation for that please!
And just when I thought I was finished dealing with eDreams, I have now been told that not all tickets were given authorisation to Virgin to issue a travel credit and I have to contact eDreams again! This is way too much stress for me and I would like this issue sorted immediately as well as issuing $2000AUD compensation for the stress eDreams has caused.

Booking
I made a booking through edreams' Dutch website https://nl.edreams.com and paid for it with iDeal (bank transfer). The transaction went through successfully (and was confirmed by my bank), but I never received a confirmation email from edreams. I've tried to contact the customer service and they want a booking nr. I don't have that because I didn't receive any confirmation. None of the phone numbers are working so I can't call them directly.
Full refund of cancelled flights totaling 1,031 euros.
EDreams informed me our flights were cancelled by KLM. We accepted the cancellation and applied for a refund the same day July 7th 2022. Until now we still have no refund and the automatic chat response is that the airline is taking 3 months to return cancelled flight monies. This is completely false as our friends on the same flight, but who booked with a different agent, have already received their refunds more than 1 month ago. EDreams are thieving from their customers.
Confirmation email didn’t arrive and money was deducted
I didn’t receive a confirmation email from eDreams, but they deducted money from my account. I have the reservation number, although Brussels Airlines couldn’t find anything under my name.
I can’t check my booking or manage it because in the form there was nothing to add the email address, only the phone number. I just added the phone number then and received a message, but that only contained the reservation number. Now I don’t have a trip and lost money!

These Edreams guys are scam artists. Never book with them. My credit card company is now going after them for over $2000 owed for over a year which they say they paid to the credit card but that is a lie.
I was tricked into using them because I typed “air Canada flights “ into a search engine and an air Canada logo came up but they booked me on SATA. When the flight was cancelled by SATA they promised a refund, then said they sent a refund to my card but this was not true. They have now been given written notice from my credit card company and given one month to reply before further legal action.
Sad these guys are still scamming others.

I booked a car through edreams in Georgia (Booking Ref: GE628579800). Edreams withdrew the amount from my credit card in advance. The company was closed and did not provide me with a car. I contacted edreams, I provided all the evidence they request. Meanwhile, company acknowledged the situation (there are email responses).
I have been waiting for the refund for one month and cannot reach any edreams representative.

I have booked a flight with them as soon as I paid the website crashed and so I wasn’t provided with with booking ref number, no email was sent to me, no flight confirmation and yet the money was taken out, I sent emails and even posted on edreams twitter and still nothing,

Flight i bought through eDreams from Athens, Greece to Sydney Australia which was scheduled to depart Athens on 30th August, 2022
I wasn't made aware by eDreams that i needed a "Health Pass" to go through Manila, for the last leg to get to Sydney.
I only found out from the staff after checking-in my luggage at the airport which didn't allow enough time for me to get 1 on-line (at a cost of US$100 - for priority processing), finally receiving it about 15 minutes after the plane departed.
They wouldn't allow me to board the plane without this 'Health Pass'.
Needless to say, I would have had it by the time we arrived at BAHRAIN, still a further flight to reach Manila
I am seeking a full refund of that total air fare as i feel eDreams were negligent in not informing me of this requirement when i booked/bought the ticket, which would have given me ample time to get this Health Pass.

08/02/22 - I received 2 Jetstar booking confirmations then subsequently received a booking confirmation from eDreams.
23/08/22 - I online requested an invoice from eDreams (realising they had not provided me with the same when sending me their booking confirmation on 08/02/22. e-Dreams sent me a "Simplified Invoice" that did not itemise the purchases I selected online on 08/02/22.
23/08/22 16:30 AEST I chatted with your employee Keshar who advised me he would send a detailed invoice, not a "simplified Invoice" for the above booking within 24 hours.
23/08/22 online contact with Jetstar who indicated all my cancellation and refund enquiries must be directed to e-Dreams.
25/08/22 sent email to eDreams advising detailed invoice not received, requesting again to send me same. To date I have not received a detailed invoice as I had requested.
27/08/22 sent email to eDreams requesting full flights cancellations and refund for bookings and payment made on 08/02/22. No response from e-Dreams to date.
27/08/22 completed e-Dreams online customer portal request alerting them to my above emailed correspondences and requests for flights cancellations and refund.
27/08/22 email received from e-Dreams acknowledging my above customer portal request - eDreams case number CASE-[protected] provided.
03/09/22 - to date no correspondence received from eDreams relating to the above cancellation and refund requests.
NOTE: I am not familiar with how to append my above cited emails and files relating to the above complaint.

Credit card charged without purchased service
Hey eDreams,
I have just realized that on August 22nd, 2022, you charged my credit card 59,99US$ (614,55 Swedish Krona) when I didn't purchase any service from you. I need that money back on my credit card. How can you take money from my card when I have no business transactions with you? I need that money back as soon as immediately.
I will be very grateful if that money is paid back to my credit card.

Flight booking services
We booked a flight to Mallorca through eDreams, everything seemed to be working fine. Got to the airport, checked in luggage, no issues.
We got to the gate, and were told we could not board the plane as our details were incorrect. The only correct details associated with our booking were our names. Our passports were apparently issued in Andora and Afghanistan, the dates of expiry were incorrect, and apparently even our passport numbers were wrong.
We have had to pay hundreds of pounds in order to adjust our flights, have been delayed over 9 hours, and are extremely upset at having wasted so much money. Thankfully the airline staff were understanding, but this was completely unacceptable from a travel company.
Desired outcome: Please refund flight change charges and give compensation for wasted time.

I have been trying to rebook an airfare which I have sitting in credit through qantas. I have rung eDreams around 10 times. Each time I have to go through the same thing and get the same response, which is nothing is resolved, they say that they are contacting "their team". They never call me back, even though they say they will. I get no email updates about what is happening re my booking.
This company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. We have spent $1500AUD with this company.
All I want to do is reschedule my flights...
