eDreams denial of compensation from europ assistance

Dear Sirs,

I regret to inform you that my claim for reimbursement following flight cancellation ([[protected]] Cancellation confirmation eDreams - 23 December 2016 - Europ Assistance O/Ref: E16T1933109) has been illegally rejected, delayed and ignored during the last 5 months. The reason for cancellation was the untimely issue of visa for the insured traveler, reason of delay are not justified by the Netherlands Consular Authorities. My claim has been subject of several emails, Europ Assistance taking more than 2 or even 4 weeks to answer, always with unjustified and illegal excuses in flagrant breach of the insurance policy and the law. I have reserved all my legal rights thereto since our first correspondences and I seriously regret to have no other resort today but courts, to receive proper compensation for the damages incurred by these illegal and bad faith maneuvers, damages caused equally by Europ Assistance and eDreams.

It is unfortunately not true that all attempts to contact the complainant have failed" because there were none.
The complaint is not resolved yet (after the above post, there was a very minor refund from Pegasus, not from the insurer EuropAssitance as per the contract, the insurance policy, bought from Edreams.
All attempts to contact EuropAssitance and Edreams have been failing since December 2016.

eDreams edreams have kept my full refund... they have stolen my money!

Please note that i am keeping all emails you send and that fact that you have already told me that you have refunded me and that i have spent over 1 hour on the phone to representatives that can not assist me and told me that i need to continue my enquiries via email im unsure as to why or how your company have been allowed to keep my money for the time frame that you have that being 6 weeks in total and that is not acceptable.
Please provide me with a managers name and contact email address as this is not sounding like eDreams are resolving this to my satisfaction. i have been treated terribly and i want answer as to why this has been allowed and also why eDreams feel that it is acceptable to hold my money back from us and only decided to issue a refund once i started to play up. you have been in receipt of my refund since the 3rd April and i still have not been given a refund.I have still not been explained to as to why you have decided to deduct over £40 from my refund also and i have just read up that you need to show me proof of where you mention on your site that you may do this and to how you came up with the £47.08 figure that you have taken.

This needs to be resolved as i have other flights that i need to pay for and you holding my money means that my flights are increasing daily. I am going to copy this email on all websites that promote eDreams and i will shout it from the roof tops if i do not receive my refund. You have refused to tell me when i will receive payment, you will not offer me a receipt to prove this has even been paid back into my account. you have refused to tell me what date eDreams made the transfer back on my card.
Your agent was rude, said that i could not talk to a manager and told me to continue the questions via email so why have you now sent me an email advising me to call back and speak to an agent?

I will not go away, you have robbed me of my flight money and your agents have lied 3 times by giving me the latest dates it will be in my bank, according to your agent i was being paid in full no later than the 1st May...didn't happen and here i am yet again chasing MY money!
You have my number and my email address and you have made no form of contact with me to even tell me that my flights were cancelled and that you had already had a full refund from the airline. Was eDreams planning on telling me? i think not!

eDreams unconfirmed flight.

I booked my flight from Dublin - Liverpool due my Mother being very ill, so I was a little ticked when I was told conformation was pending the airline edreams reference number [protected]. A couple of hours later I got a second email stating please contact your schedule team via a phone number so having no choice but to ring I am hold for 15 minutes then to be told its because the flight time to and from are 30 minutes different now!As I explain I don't mind I need to get a flight I am put on hold for a further 5 minutes only to be told if I want that flight I will have to rebook and my money will go back in my bank within 48 hrs! I spent €20 ringing this number it is an absolute joke.. Anyway thats it I will never book with edreams again.

eDreams refund for a flight that I booked that I was told didn't exist

I booked a flight on the 22nd of april [protected] for 5:58 pm flying from Orlando to Chicago arriving at 7:38 pm but when i called to check in my flight the next morning i was informed that i had missed my flight. I got ahold of edreams and they basically told me i was lying and that i was just out of luck so i had to book another flight to make it back to work. Later i provided a email of a snap shot that i took on my phone the night i purchased the ticket but when brought to the edreams team they said that i somehow must have forged the screenshot. This has been a horrific event and i am now out of over $300 in flight cost because of some technical error to no fault of my own. I would like a full refund

eDreams edreams booking reference #[protected]

I booked a flight on march 5th, 2017 to fly out of newark and go to bangkok for january 2018. The flight was 273.07. I called ethiopian airlines to pay for an upgrade to 1st class and was notified that my ticket was cancelled. I called edreams to notify them of this and they sent me confirmation that the ticket was in fact not cancelled. I checked the ethiopian airlines website on the 20th (A week later) and saw that the flight was indeed cancelled. A couple of my friends booked the same flight and also noticed that their flights were cancelled as well. They booked through justfly.com or expedia.com. I immediately contacted edreams and they confirmed that the airline ethiopia airlines did in fact cancel my flight. I was told that I would be issued a full refund and that it would take at max 30 days (I found that to be absurd since it only took them 2 days to take the money from my account but whatever!) now, it is may 2nd and within that time I have not received my refund and have also lost the debit card with which I booked the flight on. I am currently on the phone with a customer service rep that once again confirmed that the airline carrier cancelled my flight and that it could take up to 3 months for a refund. What in the entire #?! 3 months on top of the almost 2 months that i've already had to wait?! This is truly one of the worst customer service experiences that i've ever had! To tell someone that it will take an additional 90 days on top of the time it's already taken? Disgusting! I will absolutely make sure that I inform my friends and anyone that will listen to not book with edreams. Every travel group I am in and every traveler that I meet I will warn them against booking with this janky company!

eDreams payment charged twice

Edreams booking reference : [protected]
today 30/04/2017, I booked my two way ticket from samara, russia to st. peterberg, russia. they offered me a price of 157.51 pounds. I make my booking and they charged me 10.01+59.60+87.90 pounds at first. after few minutes they charged me 147.50 pounds again.

I am unable to understand that, why they charged me twice? I want edreams to solve this matter asap with dignity and some self-respect.
Otherwise I will take some serious actions against the company. I cant tolerate this unfair dealing.

eDreams ticketing errors on outgoing and return flights budapest causing stress and embarrassment to the party and specifically the individual member.

Date onewas approx. 10April on final check of booking confirmation.Dr. Maria Maria Del Frias Jimenez was mis-spelt. This meant numerous calls between eDreams and BA agent with photo copy of passport and a good deal of stress. Party of 6 travelling from Heathrow to Budapest 14 to 17th April 2017 flight no BA866. Kalip accepted eDreams error but assured all sorted! On arrival at LHR 2 rather than 3 cases were booked! More stress and disruption again accepted e Dreams error. Assured return was amended.
Return flight from Budapest a nightmare! Whilst the original booking for Dr Jimenez was cancelled and rebooked the RETURN FLIGHT WAS NOT!
We were told 5 of our Paaaaarty could return Dr J would need to book another seat This was the most stressful and embarrassing journey as a party of 6 we have EVER made. Eventually she was allowed on the flight after a 90min call to eDreams with Kalip.We are requesting compensation for an absolute series of errors on the part of eDreams and will need to carefully consider further business. My name is JTN Clayton and I was the lead traveller for a group of 6 (3couples) travelling to Budapest on 14th April and returning 17th April from Heathrow Booking Reference4B24TT. We all feel very badly let down and am sure eDreams will wish to consider its position by way of recompense. Please take the opportunity to speak with Kalip who is well versed with these issues. eDreams misrepresentation of pricing

Tried to book a flight from London to Barcelona - once the search page came back the highlighted choice was a range of flights with the airline vueling for £75.20 (photo attached)

Proceeded to book the appropriate flights from the selection - the price maintained at £75.20 - photo attached

At the final paying section the price - without explanation or highlighting it jumped to £275.20 - this is completely unacceptable and had I not spotted it or been in a rush it would have been huge unexpected expense.

I am going to be raising this with the consumer protection agency as who know how many people have been subject to it.

eDreams refund

Refund for Booking Ref No: [protected]

I made a booking via edreams on 3rd January 2017 having mistakenly pressed on a one way ticket instead of return. I immediately cancelled the ticket and was promised a refund within 30days. It has now become a circus refunding my $523 which I paid. I have been frustrated through and through by those call centre reps who keep giving inconsistent information whenever I call insisting that thE airline has already refunded my cash yet that's not the case. I have even furnished edreams with my bank statements for verification but they seem to be suffering from selective amnesia. Because of the frustrations I have undergone at the hands of edreams, I am constrained to believe that this company is a fraud intended only to swindle customers because they know that they can get away with this kind of fraud as a result of jurisdictional challenges. They never respond to emails and neither are they even courteous enough to call back or give updates on the progress. I regret ever setting eyes on this company. I want to take legal action for damages. May I know how I can serve your solicitors with suit papers? Can I know how to reach the edreams CEO?

eDreams we didn't get back to the reservation price

Dear Edreams!

I had two reservations from Budapest to USA last summer in July during the coup attempt turkey. We had to cancel our reservation 7 hours before departure on phone ( we couldn't do this in e-mail), what you had let us in email. One of your colleague received our cancellation and we were assured that we will get back all price of the reservation. Since then we always call you several times in every months. Your colleague always assure us to get back the money soon. Please, inform me when we will get back our money.

eDreams appalling non response to flight date problems

booked through e dreams on 7/3/17
cant get them to understand that the flight I booked ie the monarch one has not been dated correctly at the monarch end and I cant do any more about it myself as i booked through edreams...3 extensive phone calls over 3 weeks and still no solution to my problem. standard return emails promising that something will be done within 2/3 days but never been sorted out! Please please please help !
I want them to assure me that the return flight I booked through e dreams is the same flight that Monarch has details for.

eDreams flight change

after a rather strange email in French I phoned the customer service line to find out that there was a flight change and that my flight home from a weeks holiday was changed to a day earlier, this was not acceptable and I asked if they could transfer me on to a different flight. I was then told only head office could do this and I would have to wait up to 7 days for them to contact me. As my flight was not far away I asked if I could then have a refund...the same answer wait for head office. even then they told me it could take 30 days for a refund if they would give me one. Tried twitter and facebook with no reply at all. I have now booked my own return journey at extra cost and am still waiting for Head office to contact me. The call centre is based in India I am guessing but what is the use of a call centre to change your flight details if they do not deal with it and pass it on after a long phone call.I will not use this company again

eDreams flight not confirmed with airline

I am writing to you to raise an issue about Travel Agents at Edreams on April 4th, 2017.

When I went to check into my Cathay Pacific flight, I was told that the travel agent (Edreams) had not confirmed the booking with the airline. Edreams confirmed that there had been a problem their end (i.e. they recognised that this was their error). Despite this, when I asked them to confirm the booking with the airline so that I could board my flight which was due to leave the next day, I was told that there was no longer any space on that flight and that I would have to book a new flight, at an inflated price. The inflated price was £157 more than the original price of the flight I had booked.

Despite the airline not having confirmed my booking, I was sent a booking confirmation email which confirmed that my reservation had been made. That is why I was so shocked to be told at the later date that my flight had not been booked at all. As a result of their mistake I had to book a new flight and fly without my friend. On a 12 hour flight this was extremely upsetting.

I would like to be reimbursed the £157 that I had to spend, to get the flights which I had previously booked, but with Edreams had failed to confirm with the airline.

I look forward to a prompt response.

eDreams flight change

I bought a ticket from New York to Los Angeles for 243 EUR. Flight is on 5th of July. Unknowingly I chose Newark EWR but I need JFK. I called edreams. They said I need to pay extra 280 EUR just to change EWR to JFK. It is not fair. The flight is in 3 months. (Sorry for saying this but anyway you the ticket will be sold until 5th of July). All I need is just to change the airport to JFK at 1:00 PM. So I don't understand how the price for changing airport can be that much amount of money? It looks like cheating people than "procedure". Let it be 20% of the ticket price. ok 30 % but not more expensive than ticket itself.

eDreams payment less than what I was told online.

To whom it may concern.

Hello, my name is Zeehye Yoon and I booked 4 flight tickets through edreams in Feb; ($521.85 x 4ppl, +$13 for service charge, total $2100.4).
(My booking reference number is : [protected])

Unfortunately, due to the international affair, I had to cancel all the flights. So I called edreams on 6th March (that was around 7pm, 5th March, USA time), and the person on the phone said cancellation charge for edreams will be $50/person (total $200), and airline cancellation charge will be $58/person (total $232).

Therfore, I paid addtional $200 for cancellation with my credit card separately (which means, I paid total of $2300.4), and edreams said I'll be refunded total $1855.4 (He mentioned total amount will be $1855.4)
And I asked him to send me a confirmation email, but he said the phone call is being recorded and no need to worry, and if there is any problem (like this), I can call him back...

Unfortunately, after 5 weeks, what I got was only $378.60/person (total $1514.4, which was $344 less than expected amount).

So I called edreams (maybe thousand times) and finally they did call listening, and they said I agreed the refund amount of $421/person.
They didn't mentioned about the total amount of $1855.4 (which I 've written down while I was talking on the phone). What I remember is - as I written in on the paper that day, while the phone call, the refund amount will be $1855.4 total.

So I called back edreams, and the lady on the phone (17th April, UK time about 4:00a.m) did not listening to me at all, and she cut in to me while I speaking and repeated that I agreed to get refund $421 per person, and that was what recorded (and she was talking very rude).

I still remember that I should get refund total amount of $1855.4.
Please, please double check the phone call made on 6th March (that is such a big amount for me), annd reply me back.

edreams definately said the total refund amount will be $1855.4.
Please do not ignore this and make me understand.
In the mean time, you can share the recording.

Also, please explain me why the refund amount is only $378.60/person.
I am so tired of calling to edreams, I'm calling from an international countried, and they take 30 mins minimum for checking things, and they don't explain me well.

I will be waiting for your answer.

eDreams refund

my booking reference Number is [protected]. i have booked a flight two months ago and cancelled it within 5 months after talking with customer service. because of some technical problem in website different flight were booked. i was told to get complete refund within 4 Weeks except 15 Euro if i cancel my ticket directly.
till now i have not received the money back. i am very upset with the performance of the agency. i have booked several flights in past via this platform and now i am not going to use this anymore!

Dear sir, your agent confirmed me that if I will ask him to cancel my ticket then I will get my money back. I asked him for written confirmation but he told me that this info ( and his statement is recorded) so I can trust him.
I ask you to open the voice call from 11.02. And u will get this statement.

this flight was cancelled within 10-15 Minutes of booking, after getting confirmation of refund from Customer care.

Dear bhai Kuldeep081: "NEVER SAY NEVER".
You did not see the rules of the exact e-tciket, which the agent had to issue to you.
in order to commence a dispute you need to prove that the agent's site was out of service in the time you had commnced to use them .
You do not have such aproval (scan of the screen) or any other violation of the contract by the agent.
As a result, no facts, no arguments, no grounds to complaint against the agent.

Dear bhai Kuldeep081,
1) you misunderstood: I represent myself, not anybody else at this site / forum.
2) There is a US constitution in the US, which states that the defendant must not prove his guilt.
The defendant is the airlines' agent [eDreams]. The agent will not testify aganst thenselves in any legal dispute with you. The agent make voice records against all, not in your favour.
So you have zero chances to attach any voice convesation with a representative of the agent to your written claim against the agent. The similar rules are in India, by the way, dear bhai Kuldeep081.
It means that you need to find the legal solution [expl, violations of the contract by the agent] in the other written / readable way.
Anyway, you are entitle to fill a complaint against the agent; but before the complaint you are advised to calculate your legal argument in your favour, the legal grounds and the amount lastly only.

eDreams cancelled flight without notice

Dear Sir/Madam,

About a month ago, I booked a long flight to come back home from a student exchange program, I booked it over 4 months before the date of the flight to make sure I find decent prices i could afford, booked the flight, and received the booking confirmation.
However, I just saw on my bank statement that edreams refunded me my ticket and when I looked online, I found out they had cancelled my booking, explaining that there were either a bank problem (which there wasn't in this case since my credit card had been debited) or a reservation problem. Since I checked several times that all my reservation information were correct, there can only be a problem on edream's side of the reservation.
Hence my booking was cancelled for a reason that was not linked to me, I was not warned about it by edreams, and now flight prices have risen to a point that I cannot afford to go back to my family after one year abroad! This is so frustrating and disappointing! Since it wasn't my fault this booking was cancelled and that there are still available seats on that same flight, I believe it would be only fair to be able to flight that flight at the price confirmed originally...

eDreams refund

My ref# [protected], edreams has the worst customer service, the supervisors keep contradicting themselves been waiting for my refund for 4 months now from january 3rd, i stay on the phone for 2 to 3 hours for refund of $522.08 they keep saying its been paid, call after 2 weeks, i call back after 2 weeks again call back after one week nothing. I think i have been robbed by edreams its so unfortunate... The mistreat and frustration i have got from edreams is dispeakable. Am hoping edreams corporate office you are reading this. I need my refund back or else am surely going to file a law suit... This is my hard earned money.

eDreams boarding - pass service

I required a member of Edreams, after I booked my tickets to Italy, for a sudden death in the family, to provide me with the check in service on line for my flights.
Never revived the mail for my airlingus flight from dublin to rome, so I had to do it myself.;
On the way back we could only do the on line check in after the 7th of april, so when an operator called me I was in no possibility to do it, so I explained to him that since I never revived the first mail, I was going to do myself...
The operator told in that case I was not goig yo be charged but I did!
I would like to be refund for a service wich I paid for, but never revived ...

eDreams reimbursement of airfare

Sir,
I have booked a ticket from muscat to mumbai with air india yq97ut, through edreams, reference number [protected]. The booking was done on 19/12/2016 by 12:46 pm. I cancelled the ticket by calling your customer service number within a time period of 2 hours because it was mistakenly booked in business class. It was told by the service personnel that the amount will be reimbursed within 3 months and there will not be any cancellation charge because the cancellation was on the same day. Till date the amount is not credited into my account. Please do the needful asap.
