nbad etihad guest card ending 4301 - cancelation
I have requested to cancel my NBAD Etihad Gust Card -ending 4301 in August 2019 . Customer service agent stated that he cannot process the cancelationwithin 15 month as per bank policy . But nobody had conveyed this condition at the time of application . I had cleared all my outstanding payment in August 2019 and AED 39.75 in excess. Attached credit card statement summary for your reference . Today I received a message stating that outstanding amount is AED 2, 974.18. This is totally unreasonable and I am unable to pay this much money which I haven't utilized it. Sales person/ Sales Manager told me you can cancel this Etihad Guest card at any time after activation. I came to know that the Sales person and Sales manger to whom I dealt with for this credit card no more working with FAB.
Please consider my case and wave of this unreasonable annual charges and close my card as required earlier .

I have actually recommended your bank to two friends due to the fact that it is easy and fast to open an account. But I have issue with me trying to get a credit card approval... It's been months now and the agent I spoke with told me due to my nationality.
I'm indeed a Nigerian, I've been living out of my country for years from Asia to Gulf and suddenly I feel racially attacked by a bank. I was shocked, my salary passed minimum limit with extra according to the card offered.

I have left UAE in March 2018 with an outstanding loan of 70000 AED and credit card of 24000 AED; it was not my decision to leave UAE, I had to relocate to Europe to assist my mother, who is at her last cancer stade.
I took a job with British Airways and I always did my best to repay my debts, and I did it, I repaid in full the overdue for my CC and I paid half of my loan.
Today I still have a 36000 AED personal loan and I am really struggling; I had to leave my job with British Airways to fully assist my mother. I have no income and the loan installments are way too high. i have no money left, I have no job, I have nothing. I am at the point I wish I could die.
This is the reason why I am asking Fab Bank to make a step towards me and help me, in any way. I have been loyal towards the Bank, I have always answered the phone calls and emails, I always did my best to repay on time, I didn't run with the money like many have done before.
I am formally asking the bank to make some adjustments to my loan repayment, such as:
moving the due date from the 27th to the 1st of the month
reduce the amount of the installments to a maximum of 1200 AED, mantaining the same interest rate and stretching the repayment period.
I attach to this email proof of my Visa Cancellation and proof of my employment certificate with British Airways.
I had the chance in life to see the benevolence and goodwill of the Emirati people, I sincerely hope the Bank will take the right decision and help a loyal and sincere customer.

credit card not activated
I applied for credit card long time back but never received the card. It was not activated at all. When I ask for clearance, Customer Service asked me to close that one first. After the closure, one of the customer service officer advised me to go back to the branch after I received a message for the confirmation of the closure and she will try to submit a request . When I get back to branch, another customer care officer assisted me and she told me that I should file after 45 days. I explained that it was never activated and was never used and she asked her manager Mr. Hassin regarding the issue the Mr. Hassin advised to get back to them after 5 days. I went back to them after 7 days, not 5 days. Im not lucky enough since the customer service who assisted me is not around and Mr. Hassin claimed he didn't said anything. They asked me to call Customer Service and as expected I have to wait for 45 days.
Is there no else to be done since the card was not activated?

The money has definitely been transferred to First Abu Dhabi Bank and the documents confirming this are in the attachment. However the money has still not been deposited to "PetroKnowledge Limited" account.
I strongly urge a showdown with this problem as soon as possible.

credit card - rectification of wrong transaction
Dear Sir / Madam,
I undersigned, was approached by an agent serving for FAB and explained buying out (Balance Transfer) my other credit card outstanding with FAB card on a .79% interest rate+3% PF for which I agreed. I provided two credit cards to the balance transfer as below:
A) [protected] Amount 8000/-AED
B) CBD - [protected] Amount 18850/-AED.
However, after having received the statement of account of CBD, I found that amount was not transferred correctly, which resulted me being charged with interest 641.23/- AED plus late fee of 209/- AED plus VAT. However, the FAB credit card statements had also showing the transaction made with all applicable charges. Now I am being charged from both FAB & CBD. Next week I will get the November Statement of accounts as well.
I made the request to make necessary correction
However, I received the new statement of account from the back I intended to transfer the money today and funds have not been transferred not had it been reversed.
I was also told that the complaint stated "WRONG INFOMRATION RECEIVED" which is wrong. It was the agent who even verified the correct card no but the transaction had gone to wrong card.
I kindly request you to verify with the "CALL RECORDING". I am afraid dragging this issue might pass the Telephone conversation recording keeping duration after which we will not be able to verify too.
Today, again I called thought he call center and they obtained all the information and informed me that within two hours someone will call me.
Would you please advise what is the next step for me to get this issue resolved?
a) 10th October and I received reference no CAS-27728-C2R8T4 stating that the issue will be resolved with 5 working days.
b) 15th October I received SMS stating that issue has been resolved and closed. - (It was only message but no action has been taken)
c) 15th October I received another message saying that complaint has been registered with SR [protected]
d) 20th October, I received another message stating that SR12563599 dated 15/10/2019 has been closed.
e) 27th October I call again and another message I received with reference No ; CAS-32235-X1K1M0 received and under process and will be resolved with 5 working days
f) After 5 days 3rd November I again received a message CAS-32235-X1K1M0 - has been resolved - (but with no action taken)
g) 3rd November again I received another reference NO SR12640848 - your complaint registered. It came to beginning again
h) 7th I visited FAB branch at Deira and met with customer service officer there - who said issue has been resolved and I will get the funds transferred.
i) 10th November, again, I received statement of account from Commercial Bank - No funds were transferred.
Would you please take immediate action to resolve this issue and reverse all the charges made against this transaction?
Would you please advise me on how to lodge a formal complaint against this transaction and seek reasonable solution to recover the damages incurred due to wrong transaction?
Would you please acknowledge the receipt of this mail message and respond promptly and positively.

I am using different credit cards from FAB and I am extensive user of FAB credit cards. Recently I applied for FAB Infinite, with a query whether I will be able to get Etihads miles or not. even wiothout answering my query, the application got processed. Now Due to offshore location I didn't collect the card or activate the card, till now the card is not with me. but I got statement charging me the fees with tax. please clarify. with my agreement, its supposed to be first year with out fee card.

Last June 12 I received dozens of missed calls (including dropped calls of two rings at a time) from one of your agents. During the period that he made his call, I was at a meeting with my superiors, colleagues and our clients, so I was not able to answer the call. The last time I paid my fees was in March so I was late for two months, this is why I understand why he tried to contact me. However, what I don't understand is why this particular agent had to call my company's HR and when he was not able to reach the HR had the audacity to talk to the company's RECEPTIONIST to disclose my personal profile with the bank. Due to this unethical circumstance, I asked the agent to give me a call, so I could discuss with him.
The first thing I asked the agent is for his name. At first he refused to give me his name and started raising his voice at me, so I asked him again. He told me his first name so I then asked for his family name, so I could have his full name. With this question he started shouting at me asking if I was the police to ask for his full name. I asked him to lower his voice because I refuse to speak with someone who is fine with disrespecting me. After all the rudeness and disrespect from his side, he and I came to an agreement on how my credit could be settled. We agreed that I would pay 400aed before June 15 and the full 12, 000aed in July to fully close my liability. I told him that I would comply with this agreement despite what happened and he admitted that he was wrong and rude about his actions.
I thought everything was already settled, however come the next day, June 13, another agent from your bank went to my company's office once again and caused another wave of humiliation to me. He dauntlessly talked to the company's RECEPTIONIST AGAIN and disclosed my PRIVATE AND PERSONAL PROFILE with your bank. The receptionist had no other choice but to give me a call and the same agent decided to talk to me in front of the receptionist even after telling him not to.
Because of this, I immediately called the other agent and told him what happened. I CLEARLY told him that I do not wish to settle anything with them anymore after the humiliation that they caused me due to their unethical and unprofessional actions. I told him that I would only settle everything once I would be able to talk to someone from the bank who could address these issues properly and accordingly. Therefore, I called the bank several time to raise a complaint. The first time I raised the complaint I was told that someone from the bank would call me to settle everything, but I didn't receive any call so I called again and raised a follow-up probably twice. Only two would have been recorded because of the many times that the customer hotline dropped or cancelled my call.
Now after almost a month of not receiving any callback from the bank, I received an email from your "legal department". I replied to the email explaining my situation and hoping that the issue can be addressed and solved, so I can continue with the settlement that was also offered to me in the bank branch. But the person in charge only sent an email regarding an unreasonable settlement after all the humiliation, disrespect and rudeness that I received from your bank staff which were all caused by their unethical and illegal actions. This is why I'm sending this email in hopes that I can finally be accommodated by the bank. Thank you.
P.S.: Kindly find the attached screenshots of my phone calls to the customer hotline and the emails that I received and also note that your team couldn't even provide me an updated statement of account since I opened it until the present date.
P.S: Today is November 7, 2019 and NR from this great FAB BANK! and still doing this unethical behavior.
personal loan release and outstanding payment delay.
Personal Loan approved from FAB and requested to closure 4 credit cards through this loan. NBAD & FGB cards outstanding cleared but closure confirmation letter still not received. Another cards from Mashreq & RAK still the closure is pending, outstanding still not paid by FAB from my Loan Amount. The amount still in hold with FAB not releasing it also not paying my outstanding, already 2 time submitted the Liability certificates from both bank.
Already 2 EMI's deducted, but outstanding payment of other credit cards delaying and no any response from representative. Even I have raise a concern 1 week ago through atyourservice @FAB, but no any response till today.

This FAB and the agents working in FAB are so unethical, unprofessional and taking advantage. They are doing the same thing to me. I spoke to some legal consultants and advised me that I can file a complaint regarding their harassment calls as this is not allowed.

My name is Mohamed Shameer, I am an account holder (acc. No. [protected]) of FAB in Abudhabi. Working in Adnoc onshore project with Inspecta international as my employer from sep 2017. I have changed my company in 2017 due to contract change From Tuv to Inspecta international.
There was a dispute with previous company regarding my End of benefit. It is resolved now and my EOF credited to fab account on 12th of October 2019. It was held by bank and I got message to submit documents like salary certificate visa copy and Emirates id of my new company to release that amount.
As instructed I have submitted my documents to the nearest branch on 17th of October 2019. Now, even after 10 days still it is not released.
Then I have complained through customer care. Today I got a call from customer care and they told that the branch I have submitted my documents had been closed long time before. And i need to submit the documents again in another branch.
If the branch is closed long time before how can I submit my documents on 17th of this month?
This show a wrong or delay in updating of my details in bank database.
Actually i have been working this company for more than 2 years and I have already submitted my new employer details to the bank before 1 year. But still they are telling my details shows I am working with the previous employer.
So I am hereby requesting you to provide me a suitable solution for this issue and release my blocked amount from the bank.

I have been cheated by bank by charging credit sheild without my knowledge.
Neither I have communicate with bank nor send any email then also they charge me every month credit shield. I am using bank card since 2011 but recently last 2 years they started credit sheild.
This is something they charge me without my knowledge. I asked them to revised my money they said not possible. Then how can you charge me without my knowledge.
I need my money to be reverse and I don't want to hire anything from bank. I am calling bank since 22 October till now no one called me
I had the same experience with one of their agents who told me it comes with the installment plans I did. He didnt inform that it cost 1800dhs! I complained but they said they couldnt do anything even if they cancel i should still pay for it

After years of being a loyal customer for FGB and NBAD currently FAB, I would share with you my recent experience with what you describe as Smart Call System and agent.
I called FAB today 20 October 2019 at 19:40, spoke an agent named Hytham, since o could not recall my Customer IF#, so I chose to speak to customer service, who again ask me about costumer ID or card number, I told I am driving and using hand free so please use my phone number to identify my account and verify my ID as usual by asking the frequent questions,
The agent flatly refused to do and told me that I could have stolen the phone and use it, tried to explain that he can verify by asking questions like all other banks but flatly refused again although I told if I stool the phone I could also stool the card so verifying is the only way but no response
As a last resort I asked to speak with supervisor on duty again the shut me off and refused
This was one of the worst experiences I ever had

I have payed my due amount for my credit card in full AED 23, 000/- and i was hoping that my score will be updated in order to apply for a top up on my loan. The score is still low and in the AECB report it shows that my credit card issue is still there. I have visited the branch and i was told to send e-mail with all details to atyourservice@bankfab.com and i did sent around 15 e-mails and after a week or so someone asked for my contact NR when they already have that in their system and they give me a miss call and after that they message me that they are trying to reach me and asked me to call back on theis nr. i did call but no answer for 3 days x 20 min waiting for each call. it is interesting how they could find me when they asked me to pay the due amount and now they cannot reach me. I just need someone to call me and discuss with me and i will explain everything and i have all the proving documents that payment has been done and i am all clear and no issue should be in my score report from FAB.

I have disputed transactions fraudulently made on my credit card two months back and was told it would take 180 days to investigate I made numerous calls and early this week i was told it was rejected due to me not applying in 60 days however I applied within 1-3days. I was told I would be contacted by the team involved. I have not heard anything and I have called them every day being on hold for upto 40mins at a time with no one answering.
