amount blocked without any reason
First Abu dhabi Bank blocked one of the credit transfer which I received my friend from UAE. He transferred money from ADCB.
When I checked their customer service agent, they saying incident to be investigated and it will take 5 working days.
To connect FAB call service agent we have to spend more than an hour or we have to in the midnight. The amount blocked on 27 September until today (05 Oct) they have not released the amount...
FAB service is very BAD...
I dont know when they going to release the amount.

This is simply the most pathetic customer service I have ever come across. I cancelled my FGB card a year ago because of the service but got another one this year, I really don't know why.l!

I had done a online account transfer from Mashreq bank to Fab account on 15th sept 2019 ...amount was 3000 aed. Mashreq bank has confirmed that the transfer was successful however the amount shows as blocked in fab account. I have been following up with fab for 3 weeks now but no one cares. bank clearance letter / withdraw police case

My Name is Bishnu Lal Shrestha. I had a bank loan with National bank of Abudhabi but now Bank name has been changed to FAB Abudhabi. I had left Abudhabi without clearing bank dept in 2017 but I was paying bank instalment in regular basis. After charging unnecessary fines, I had stopped paying 4 months. Bank had threatened me of filing police case against me and I started paying again. Now I do not have any outstanding. Last June 2019 I had cleared all of my dept with Bank. I have requested with bank for sending clearance letter in my email but they said they can't send through email and asking me to collect by person. Which is impossible for me. Because they have already filed a police case against me. Now I can't go UAE because they banned me for travelling. I have requested them to withdraw police case but still they haven't withdraw. Now I am mentally disturbed and going to depression. I do not know whom I knocked regarding this issue. Expensive phone calls to bank killing me with no hope.
Please help me. I have a family with beautiful kid. I need to go in different countries for work and feed my family.

My Flexi Loan [protected], I am getting call from Mr. Rashid from the attached number an the way he talks is very cheap and he cannot continuously call me like this from different mobile number, yes I agree due to financial issues there is delay in payments same time you can check my past payment history am not denying that I can not make payment its for time being there is issue for me.
If he is going to call me further I will stop all my transaction with FAB and we can move legally.
I went for a surgery and joined office on Sunday little bit stuck financially due to my wife lost her job in the month of FEB.
I need to talk to some disciplined person who can give me better solution to handle the current situation, past 1 and half year am paying only my interest month on month for credit card also.

I have raised a complaint 2 months back regarding annual fee deduction, while the account and card I have is life time free card. After so many mails and follow up they reversed my charges 5 days back and did not give my signing bonus yet. Again this month same issue that I have again got annual fee deducted in my account. Why there is no check in your systems befor charging a customer. Neither I have got singing bonus nor my cash back. What type of service is this. I have to be on hold for more than one hour whenever I call. I am very disappointed with the service

I requested for liability letter 18 September via the help desk which I also requested a week before but was not recorded in the system and i didn't receive reference number so I had to call again, and then I got a reference number, the same was only initiated 21 September, 22 September I called the call center and inform me that letter is ready for pick up so I went to the branch the next day only to find out that the letter is not yet in progress, I waste time and money as I need to go by taxi to the branch. I had to follow up everyday for this letter only.
Unfortunately, I am still awaiting for my letter till today, 26 September, why its taking too much time for just 1 letter? what might be the problem? They told me from the start when I requested that it will take 3-4 business days only. For the procedures, what is the normal processing time for the same as my application to other bank might get expired already.

I have made a payment transfer from my Fab savings account to my ADCB credut card last Sept 20, 2019 with the amount of 200aed only with reference number, FT19263180C2. My concern is that the amount was already debited from my FAB account but it was not received as payment to my Adcb.
I have informed Adcb for the matter but they have told me that they were unable to locate the said amount and asked me to check with you. I have enclosed a copy of the transaction and the SMS I received from Fab. Kindly email me at [protected]@yahoo.com if concern has been checked already.

reversal amount on inactive account
I have an inactive account since 2015, at the beginning of this year they started charging me. I have raised a complaint immediately and they have promised to reverse the amount immediately. 9 months have passed, numerous complainst raises thru customer service and at the branch - received calls and more promises that the issue will be resolved - even they sent sms that issues have been resolved though nothing happens, and till now it is not done. Due to this, my clearance letter cannot be issued! It has been more than 2 weeks.

My credit card was closed on July 31, 2019 it was a take over by other bank, but issuance of the clearance letter still not given. It's been almost 2 months now. I have been calling the Customer Service almost everyday for 2 weeks now, but still not fruitful. I have visited the branch where we settled the take over again no results. Hi I am complaining regarding my credit card. I closed my card 3 weeks back and got a clearance letter from collection but I am still getting back statement and being charged. Even thought the case is closed please look in to this matter or else I will have to file a case in consumer court. My closed card number is [protected].

I had a phone call from Maryam Mahmood, FAB Customer Service Agent who called regarding dispute forms I have submitted to FAB. I found her interaction with me was totally inappropriate and unprofessional. I have asked her to relay the issue to the subject matter expert in FAB but she refused insisting that she knows what she is doing. She insisted that my case that I consider as service not delivered as fraud, and failed to define fraud for me. At the same time I want to raise a complaint also for not accepting my raised Cardholder Dispute Forms saying that the it has passed the max period allowed by the Bank. I have referred her to Visa Guidelines but she refused to take them to the relevant department.

I was using the credit cards with National Bank of Abu Dhabi bank with the Credit card. This complaint is to dispute an incorrectly charged on my credit cards.
I have made formal complaint twice before about the credit card statement and for a clearance & settlement letter on 15th january;2019 and 11th September'2019. Recently I received another credit card Statement dated 15th September'2019.
I am writing this to dispute an incorrect charge on my bill. I request you to look into the matter and clear the repeated charge and statement immediately. I would sincerely appreciate your prompt assistance in this matter.
As per below emails as I agreed to pay a one lump sum of AED 16, 000.00 (Sixteen thousand Emirates Dirhams only) of my NBAD Credit card and it has a constant record of all bills cleared on December'2018. On 16th January'19 I spoke with Mr. Mohammed Nadeem (Asst. Manager Collections) who contacted me from Hadaf Al Khaleej Collections and Legal Consultants and informed that I will receive Clearance letter and settlement letter soon as he already requested to the Bank. Please review the below email for your acknowledgement.
I'm also asking that you do the following:
• Immediately close my account so no additional penalty fees or interest is applicable.

I've been a loyal customer of FGB (FAB now) since 2007 and enjoyed a free for life credit card. However, from July 2024 onwards, they had unilaterally changed the policy and started charging the annual fee of AED 315 which is against the purpose of the credit card. Not sure how customers are duped like this. Very unethical.

FAB Bank took my EOS money and transferred it into my loan account without my consent, even though I was paying my monthly installments on time without any defaults.

As i have got a new job and my current company has account and has asked me to open the account in to this bank my salary account
I thought it would be easy and fast as i have been using the platinum card for more than 9 years now .
I stay in Al warqa so went to the Mirdiff branch on 31st evening to open the account where I had submitted my original document passport and emirates ID for verification.
all the process was done i was told the within 6 working days the account will be opened.
After waiting for more than 6 working days i went to the branch on 09th where the customer service person told me that he has send the email to his colleague to do the needfull where he said someone will call me after two days.
even after three days i was not whcih was on 12 i went back to the branch to the same customer service person where he raised the mater to the brach manager and assured me that my account will be opened before Sunday.
Till today Monday evening nothing has been done and it feels like i have been treated unfairly.
if that is the case the bank can let me know that they cannot open my account account so i can go back to my company and start using my current account with ADIB.

Worst experience with FAB, wouldn't suggest anyone to deal with them. List of complaints is endless but will try to keep it short.
1- Had Al futtaim Master card included lounge facility, however upon arriving at lounge I was denied in FEB 2019' I was denied entry saying lounge facility no longer valid on Master card. FAB failed to send any notification via sms or other means. Embarrassed against other passengers.
2- REEL cinema tickets- montly minimum spending has been raised from 2000AED to 4000 AED without notifying its custormers. so we had to return back from Dubai Mall Cinema knowing i will not have spending of 4k AED. Again FAB kept quiet on this. No notification.
3- Credit Card delivery took more than 10days even though Credit sale person promised of delivery within 7 days. no one apologized for delay.
4- 4 - interest rate charge based on incorrect information given by sales guy when issuing card. i was clearly told that i will have 55 days to repay remaining amount if minimum amount has been deposited as per statement. BIG FAT LIE // complaint number CAS-17010-J7S4Y9
5- For this I am charged 187.30 aed wrongly and I have been informed yesterday of another charge of 41.00 aed ( coming up in September 2019 statement).
Your call center agent told me not to do any transaction on my credit card due ongoing investigation. Still you charged me additional 41.00aed.. Can I know why?
Your Credit card sales person gives 55days full repayment of amount spent still you charged with 187.30 AED. Please check with staff who signed up my Credit card
I have also paid total outstanding principal amount 1462.15 AED however I will not pay the interest which is wrongly charged.
Your service quality level is pathetic. Please raise your standards

money withdrawals from my account without my knowledge by the bank
The bank has withdrawn 15360AED from my account without any information and my knowledge. While I complaint to the customer care as per them they had credit in to my account in December by mistake and that's why they had debuted in July from my account.
While I checked the history of my payment I have got the information what exactly happens in December and I want to share here now.
I went to city centre sharjah branch to pay 7680 aed of my credit card due payment so first I paid the cash amount 7680AED but it was NBAD ATM machine and due to NBAD & FGB become FAB merge process is going on after payment done it's still showing the payment is due and not credit in account.
I had call to customer care and informed about that issue so as per them try from account to credit payment and I had done it also but still it was showing the same than as par customer care representative I have to go to the branch and they will help me and whatever money (7680aed) I had paid that day they will credit back to my account.
Next day I went to the branch and paid by account to credit card and it's done.
Bank has credited the amount back to my credit card which is I paid extra amount and for that I ask how can I get this money back than as par customer care I have to cancel my credit card and than only I can get the cash amount so I have done it.
After almost 6 months bank has debited from account 15360 AED.
I had complaint but until now nobody has contact me back and I am facing lot of problems due to stress of this issue. Please do the need ful as soon as possible.

I have a credit card with an amount of 42, 000 AED which has been issued in 2009. The details of the card is FAB Master card. Between 2009 ill 2016 I have been sed the card actively mad on time, i have been a loyal customer to the bank. Lately, approximately in 2016 They have upgrated myself to a gold card as i was a good customer to the FAB Bank. Hence, i have token a cash amount from the card and one of the customer are representatives have told me that i will receive a message for the payment and have to follow the given amount in the message. As, the all center agents from FAB were confusing / misleading the information about the payment i was following and paying the amount as per the received message/statment from FAB. To clarify that i am paying the right amount i have been in touch with a customer care and asked the calculate and explain for me the installment plan for the sed amount. As per their consultation, i was continuosly paying the amount as per statment. Recently, I have got a message from FAB about an outstanding amount and was shocked as the main amount never has been changed and opposite it was increasing. Please check my complaint and advise.

Good day! My apologies for bothering your hectic schedule. I only want to raise my concern with regards to my complain on my account in FAB. I was worried because even most of my friends who had also account in FAB has the same problem as mine and right now all of us were afraid already if this will happened again with our salary in FAB. We are just hoping that you can help us with this issue.
To start with, I went for vacation last month. There is 600aed remaining in my ATM but I withdrawn it in Philippines. Then my salary came in the 25th of August with the total of 19, 200aed, it was auto-debited with 1, 800+aed for my quick cash loan in your bank, then 5, 900aed was also debited for my personal loan and lastly my auto-loan in DIB bank which was also auto-debited every 28th of the month.Then I was also shocked because there was also 1500+ which was blocked in my account and I dont have any knowledge why it happened. From 19, 200aed, after all the deductions made by Fab to my dismay, the remaining amount left was only 7, 100aed. I thought I still have 10, 000aed that will be left in my account. I think the deduction is too much than my real debt. Where in fact I even have 600aed left in my account before I left for vacation. I was really devastated of how it happened. I will escalate this issue to the highest authority if I cannot find any solution for this case. Still I am hoping that you can help me sort out this matter. Looking forward for a positive feedback and thank you very much.
