Loan and account
Hi Team,
I recently buy out my loan to FAB recently so as bank has opened an account with them as normal. I have given my account details to my HR and they transferred the salary to the same as specified in the letter. Right now, I am unable to withdraw my salary as bank saying the provided account number is a dummy account (Still the same appearing in my FAB application). I am following up for this case since 28th december and they have not transferred the money yet to the actual account which is again showing in the application. Based on that i wrote email to the customer service and the Manager who is in charge for my account and he provided another account details which is not same as mentioned in the above.
At present, I have three account with FAB, since I came to Dubai, this is the first time, i am dealing with this bank and I am not sure how they created these many accounts under the name of mine.
I am really in trouble now as I don't receive my salary for the last month and struggling to furnish my commitment. This issue is going like endlessly and I really need a help to resolve this at the earliest.
Desired outcome: Resolve the issue with account and release my salary in one day
Re: fab collection team take advantage of my end of service benefits

Greetings, I would like to complain regarding FAB Collection Team for taking advantage of my End of Service Benefits. I worked as a nurse for a government hospital in Abu Dhabi for 14 years. I leave my work last December 2019 just before the Covid-19 pandemic came, that is why my End of Service Benefits was pending for a long time. Finally it was released on December 24, 2020 after a year fighting to claim it. At the moment I am unemployed but already got a new job offer. I have a personal loan balance of 54, 000 and credit cards of maximum amount 20, 000 and 5, 000 from FAB. But because of 1 year non payment they file a case against me and frozen all the amount of my end of service, and charged me a lot more than I expected for my credit cards which I believed is NOT FAIR! I tried to negotiate and plead with the FAB collection team who is handling my account but he just ignored me, he told me that the final decision has been done. The only way to pull out the case is to clear all my debts with them. Though I did not agree to their condition they just did what they wanted to do and maximize all the charges on my credit cards. From the 133, 000 amount of my end of service they just left me with 4, 700 in cash. I still have other necessities to pay, the rent of my house has not been paid since February, my electric bills, my food and transportation while processing my new application, the education support of my child. All of this I mention to FAB collection team and begged to spare me some amount of my money, but he just taken me for granted. This is the only hope for me to settle all my bills. I am the only breadwinner of the family. So please I am asking for your help, so I can have a fair justice.

Hi, my name is Sophie and I have been using FAB for 5 years now. My account got blocked because a friend transferred some money into my account. I didn't know it was going to be such trouble. When the bank contacted me, they requested for all proof which I submitted all. I wrote a declaration, apologising with all other necessary proof the bank needed.
My account has been closed since October and I have been unable to pay my rents, talkless of feeding. I am Covid_19 positive today as my results came in. I am stranded, homeless and I dont have any money to buy medicine nor feed. Help me plz

Loan/credit card
I had applied for a loan from fab through agent. His name is bensley caldeira (+971 55 632 1664). He told me that credit card comes complimentary with loan so made me sign the credit card documents as well with the loan documents. After waiting a long time I received the message for approval of credit card. When I enquired him about loan he said you keep the card you will get loan on 2nd and he made some girl to call me telling that I will get a loan on 2nd jan since it's a year closing. And she told me I will get 8% interest and 10 times of my salary. Then I called the bank and they told me the loan was rejected on the same day. This agent just to sell his credit card cheated with me and wasted my so much time. As due to current situation I really needed money because of that I faced a lot of humiliation. Kindly take a strict action against him and I wanna written apology from him so that no one else will suffer like me.
Desired outcome: I want this card to be cancelled as soon as possible and I wanna strict action against this guy and I want him to write a apology letter to me and pay for the embarassment I faced because of him and also for the time that he wasted.
Poor customer service
Dear Team,
I'm very disappointed and fed up with your customer calling center service. As it happened with me now more than 10 times. No one answer the call when ever you select the option for general enquiries. Myself waited for more than 10 min for every call from last few months. But with regret no one answers. Most importantly its not a free call and I'm spending a lot on this.
I don't know how to put off my frustration. But I believe that these reviews might reach its destination to improve their services.

Really disappointing service and feels like cheated.
I made a transfer to my account in India using the FAB app & unfortunately here mistakenly I added 2 extra digits in my account no. This no. got added as beneficiary which doesn't exists at all. Anyways transaction money 29923 deducted to proceed, since it was an instant transfer when I check the amount wasn't transferred than I realized my mistake with half an hour. I contacted the bank via email & calls and I received the money back 29008.
Approximately 915 dirhams back deducted as a exchange rate though there wasn't much difference in the exchange range between those 5 days, same was noticed by your first customer agent representative that its a mistake but final call I received after a month when representative very arrogantly told me and denied for refund after a short conversation.

I am writing to you in regards of my pathetic situation which I am going through in Abudhabi (UAE). During this pandemic situation I been harassed and torchered bun the bank officials so badly. I am wondering if there is a customer right in this country. I had a loan with FAB under my account [protected]. I was terminated on 2017 due to restructuring plan of Etihad Airways. During that time I submitted my termination letter to the concerns. But they didn't gave me any No liability letter. Now my name is on Credit Bureau Report. I am ready to do anything that is suggested by the bank. But they are not helpful at all. Everyone is pushing my case to each branch and departments. I would like to finish of my case. Has fab agent call conversion with me to take good instalment plan.I was convince from him. what he said really don't understand.How interest was. Account needs to be de-freezed
This is in reference to my account no. [protected]. I visited FAB Jumeirah Road branch office to enquire as to why my account has been frozen. I met with FAB customer representative Mr. Nimin Gopinathan and he informed me that my account was blocked because the bank was trying to reach out to me on my registered email for verification on some transaction. This is when I informed that the registered email is not functional anymore and immediately updated the registered email. Thereafter, Mr. Gopinathan informed that a verification email will be sent to my new registered email wherein some documents will be required, after which my account will be de-freezed. I duly responded to Mr. Gopinathan's email with all the required documents. However, till date my account has not been de-freezed. I have also made some follow up calls and raised the issue, but I have not received any calls back neither has my account been de-freezed. I request that my account be released on immediate basis, as this is causing a lot of inconvenience to me on a daily basis.
First reward points
I have been a customer of FAB for a long period of time holding a credit card. I have first reward points which I would like to utilize. As suggested by FAB call center team I tried to do it via mobile banking app but unfortunately I was unable to do so. Upon calling back to your customer care service, Ms. Deepa Kotwani assisted me where she was not able to assist me at all. Instead of resolving my issue, I was briefed about policies and processes (ideally it should have been done while I was going for a settlement plan). She was not willing to log a complaint (which can be traced easily in future). I don't know if she even understood my concern and she directed me to contact the collection team. As suggested, I contacted the collection team (Mr. Arthur Fedellaga). He was also unable to assist me. These rewards points which I have in my were accumulated before I have requested for a settlement payment plan. During the process I was not informed that I will be unable to utilize my points which your call center agent informed me. I am hoping to get a conveyancing response at the earliest from the concern team. Nowhere it mentions about my rewards will be forfeited.
To waive the interest of aed 0.48 fils.
Dear FAB,
I am very loyal and regular customer of you bank, I have take a quick cash loan on Sep 2019 and I have made my each and every payment on time. However, before taking loan I have told your representative to deduct all the charges from the loan amount and transfer the rest of the amount in my another bank account. however, it was not done and I received all of the amount in my another bank account. I was not aware of 0.48 fils and no one even informed me. I made the payment of AED 2, 631 therefore I got charged interest that is what I have been told by customer care.
I would like to request you to consider my loyalty and please waive off my interest of Aed 0.48 fils.

Loan deferral
Its been more then 2 week, I have applied for deferral of loan and there haven't been any reply from the bank on same. They are simply dead, not responding on call center even if you wait around an hour OR more. They will never give you a call back. Not responding emails properly, just sending scripted emails.
I don't know what to do further? Central Bank should take a notice immediately to ask them about this kind of unprofessional behavior and terrible customer care.
Not providing me cancellation letter
I had a FAB Credit card which is not even activated by me.
While requesting for other credit card services from other bank, they asked me to provide a cancellation letter for the FAB credit card which is not even activated by me .Anyway i went ahead and cancelled this card which is not even activated by me .But the bank is not even providing me a cancellation letter as attachment which i can provide to my other bank. I don't understand the logic behind this. what is the problem for the bank for providing me a cancellation letter in mail for the card which is not even activated and used by me.

Requesting clearance, a no liability letter from fab call center.. For more than 3 weeks and they are not paying attention on it... I already pay the said amount 63.00 dirhams for shipping.. Untill now they keep on promising 2 to 3 days working.. I keep on trying to call everyday the shipping comp. Aramex and dhl, but they are not giving me any track no. Under my name..

Credit card settlement plan
Visited the branch but an agent faced me to discuss and settle but it ends up grabbing and toring the documents infront of me as i would like to take copies of what i am signing for. He's name is Amin but i've seen his ID is khaloof). And another agent came to assuming he's a manager (Ibrahim) at seemingly nice and he let me sign all the documents. Sept 15 that time when i visited, few weeks passed by and nothing happened. Everyday to keep on following up but it's a horrible experience with this bank. I get to have a phone call today sept 29 already with ibrahim but he is just very rude the same with amin. He ended with useless words that he cant do anything but to follow up with khaloof or amin. And all numbers and emails arent working.
I want to get a settlement plan for 24mos to close this account!
Hope something might happen if could complain here on complaints boards. Or seek any professional to get fix this account.
Seems everyone wants to close account with FAB and trying hard to keep them.. What a shame..
