Car loan mortgage release
I have closed my car loan from NBAD in 2015, after walking for an year I was told that the mortgage has been released and details send to RTA . Next year the name of the bank started not to appear on my registration card and insurance . Today I came to know from RTA when I wanted to sell my car that mortgage is still active in RTA system and I cannot sell the car .

Bank cheque book
Dear Sir,
I am a elite account holder of FAB bank since long time and facing inconvenience.
Issue-
Application for request to issue cheque book shows- not allowed for this account.
I tried to resolve this since 3 days, called the customer care- they advised to visit the branch, went to main branch in sharjah- they advised that email has been send to my RM and advised to be in contact with him, contacted the RM but still the issue is not resolving knowing that it is a system generated issue.
I have booked a rental home and should give the PDC cheque by 23.12.2021.
Being a elite member if I am facing this issue, I am not sure what next to be done.
I am writing this to resolve the issue at the earliest to prevent my further inconvenience.

Credit card auto debit
On 01/03/2021, I had requested to cancel my standing instruction of Zurich Insurance payment which falling due on 5th of every month. On 02/03/21, I received a SMS mentioning that the request has been closed. But on 05/03/21, as usual, my credit card has been debited with the insurance payment. How come a standing instruction got processed even after it is cancelled. I again called FAB customer care team, inquired the same and been informed that the standing instruction is still active and need to be cancelled again, So accordingly i placed second request to cancel the same, unfortunately on next month 05/04/2021, again my card has been debited with the premium. Since then i am complaining the same with the following series of complaint numbers SR14375401, CAS-150061-F1C5M6, SR14417784, CAS-154822-W8W4Y1. & [protected] and requested to reverse all the debits which are wrongly charged to my account at the earliest, for which i didn't get any complete resolution so far. Some charges are reversed, some old charges are still not reversed.
I strongly feel that either FAB doesn't have a proper system in place to manage customer requests or doesn't have efficient staff to manage its business. It is a big shame to UAE, to keep the banking licence for such a messy bank.
Sorry to mention that I took a bad decision to take FAB credit card, even though many of my friends and relatives warned me, because of the bitter experience they had previously. Now i too regret.
I humbly request, if you have any efficient staff who can take care your system competency and customer grievance, please look into my case and provide me a resolution to reverse all the authorized debits in my card, at the earliest.
Desired outcome: FAB has to reverse all charges debited to my Card for erroneous auto debits happended by their IT system
Liability letter
I had applied for a liability letter to leave the bank and started my whole process. However they gave me a wrong amount and my new bank cleared that. This has lead me to a very long process and it's so so unprofessional on FAb to do so.
I would not recommend absolutely anyone to be a part of this !

Liability letter
I requested a liability letter on 13 Nov and was told that I will receive it within 2 to 3 WD.
Received a call on 18th of Nov. from one of the FAB team loan dept. inquiring on reason for requesting letter.? NO action taken? Why the bank need to know this and why hold the request.
Nothing received till 23rd of Nov., called the bank and raised a complaint no. [protected]
FAB bank employee advised that letter mailed and that its with Aramex.
No delivery by Aramex till 25th. I tried to call 10th of time and only option is select service between delivery and pick up and no option to speak to any agents. I emailed them, posted on their facebook page and finally sent them on Messenger at 11am (have all chat history) and requested to pick up letter urgent and for almost 10 hours of sending messages. NO help whatsoever. They had the audacity to lie and post online that someone tried to call me on the 25th about pick up when this is PURE LIE.
I literally begged to go and pick my document from any location the letter is in as my husband was travelling Friday morning and we needed this document urgent.
Nothing. Received a call at 5:20 from an employee at Aramex and I requested the same and she confirmed that only letter can be dropped on Saturday 27th. I requested to pick up - No support or help as letter is in warehouse in Sharjah? Why transfer from Dubai to Sharjah where customer address is Dubai?
I requested to speak to a manager, supervisor, no one was available and was promised a call before 7 PM. On same day. BUT no one called. Listen to your own recording.
Received a call on Monday 29 and I have declined to receive the letter as its already too late. letter should be used within 14 days?
I raised a complain at FAB, received a call on Friday 26 and I was insisting to receive a new letter where I can collect it directly from FAB and employee was insisting that this against their policy and he can not help me. I requested to speak to someone in charge, manager or supervisor as I will not tolerate the unprofessional service again by FAB or ARAMEX and was told that they I will get transferred then was put to main switchboard where you need to state what exactly you want to those auto reply operator.
My complaint was closed on same day by FAB bank and I received an SMS confirming the same. NO Letter was received. No one fixed or had the curtsey to call and apologize and issue a new letter. I was charged for the letter that I never received.

My card was charged by Etisalat of 416AED which I never authorized. I have raise the dispute form nothing worked ultimately I was told by FAB agent to make payment so paid 350aed and 271aed again in next month got the balance of around 800aed so I don't know what i have to do to get rid of this non ending payments. Dubai First Credit Card
I would like to highlight some issues of Dubai First bank (Now called First Abu Dhabi Bank FAB) credit card. Bank representative (M. Muhammad Kashif) promised lifetime free credit card, but just activated the card, they charged annual fees AED 454.81. I had tried to contact the Seles person, he and his manger not attending the phone call at any no. From my side, I race the complaints to the customer care and they informed me you signed contract accordingly you should pay for the annual fees.
No solutions offered for their mistakes
I have a credit card with FAB and i am done with all the payments and i requested to close the card... i sent the request on the 17th of october 2021 and they informed me that by the 1st of november it will be closed and u will receive a confirmation mail. I called to follow up, they mentioned that they had a technical issue in closing one installment plan and that it is their fault. However, they will still take 4-5 working days to close the installment and another 5 working days to close the account... this came from the complaints team and all they said is sorry we can't do anything but wait for the back office team to close the installment and then wait for more 5 days to close the card... the complaints department said the same thing the phone advisors mentioned.. i have no idea why do they have 2 teams if they have nothing extra to say... the technical issue is not my fault, but i the only one to bear it... i am taking a loan from another bank and it is all waiting for them to close the cc but they dont care and the advisors are aloof and careless... i have never seen such a way in dealing with situations
FAB Credit Cards
My husband applied for a loan. Even before the loan was approved a credit card was issued in his name. The loan was never approved. He gave them his personal email. But they are so ancient and Neanderthal, they carry forward an email that is mine and never browsed by him at all. They then issued insurance and additional charges on the card.
Now that my husband lost his job. They immediately took of his online access. There is no transparency on the charges that are saddled on him. One week AED 670 has to be paid and in 14 days another AED 310 has to be paid. Their staff on the phone threatens him and uses foul language saying go get money from your father, go get money from your mother, you are cheating the bank, etc. Now they have gone to the extent of calling on my number and threatening me.

I had car loan with fgb before merge and till now I can't have a clearance for the loan although I finished it september 2020. And they are not helping and a problem happened in the system because of the merge. I need to have clearance it been like 3 month now trying to fix this issue. I need to sell my car immediately I need the money urgently and you are not supporting by any mean.

Bank Cheque not accepted in Australia - Electronic funds transfer required.
I sold my unit situated in Dubai and a FAB bank cheque was issued as payment for the sale of the unit from the buyer Mr Jawad Bisharat. I received the FAB bank cheque in Australia only to find out that Australian banks do not accept the FAB bank cheque. Therefore I cannot get the funds for the sale of my unit. The FAB bank cheque was returned to the buyer (FAB's client Bisharat) and requested him to connect with FAB to cancel the FAB cheque and transfer the funds electronically to me instead. I am told as a result of this process that FAB will not cancel their own FAB cheque and send the funds to me electronically. At this point in time some 5moths after the sale of the unit I still do not have the funds for the sale.
I request FAB to cancel the FAB cheque and at the same time send the funds direct to my account electronically.
Please confirm a contact person for me to arrange your client and my buyer Mr Jawad Bisharat, to present the cheque to and to arrange the funds to be transferred electronically to my account.

Blocking my end of service gratuity for three months

My end of service gratuity went into my FAB account at the beginning of July. I share with the bank all of my updated documents (visa/EID/Passport/letter from my new company), as well as them receiving my salary payments into the account each month. They said my new company (Norton Rose Fulbright - an international law firm based in the DIFC) was not registered. My company liaised with FAB to provide as much information as they could to rectify this problem (registration license, details of employees, public financials etc.). In addition when FAB asked for my company to provide the end of service gratuity into my account, they informed FAB that as a DIFC based firm, they are legally required to invest into the DEWS plan, as part of the new regulations - something that is out of my firms control. I have been chasing FAB since the beginning of September and left several messages asking for someone to call me back with an update. No-one is calling me back and no progress has been made to release my gratuity funds (AED55k). There is no reason for FAB to hold my funds. I have been banking with them since 2009 and paid my loan payments on time every month (My loan is due to finish in the first half of 2022). They receive my salary into my FAB account each month and have all the necessary documentation to release the funds. It's nothing short of thief and they are earning interest from my money. Please can you help me get my money released. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have uploaded the 2 receipt for the payment
The AED80/- Reciept got updated
but the AED 300/- did not got updated
The money got deposited in the CDM machine and it said in receipt that it will be processed manually .
But not updated Transaction Reference: FPFNF01U5Q in the system yet.
Receipt 7899 for AED 300/-
It has been 4 days, and the amount is not reflected against the Reference FPFNF01U5Q.

Envelop received but NO card
I informed the bank about that, as there is no card
After many calls card Number shared with me but not the card
I visited FAB branch and informed the manager, he confirmed that the card is not existing in the system
So, the CARD never been activated or existing
But I received calls and emails and sms for payment for a card is not existing and not activated
Please advise how to cancel this and I don't want to have any business for such service

unauthorized membership fees for credit card
I have an cash back credit card and also i got one supplementary credit card with main cash back card on August 2020. The bank agent agreed to me the supplementary card totally free of charge. First use was this card on Jan 2021 with Quick cash transfer and received statement onwards. but I am shocked, because on Sep 2021 statement with an annual membership fees AED.500/- included, it is totally unacceptable because i did not have any awareness about it. Now one year completed and the first year there is no any charges.
Please waive off this unauthorized charge.

I have raised an credit limit reinstatement on 31st august with all required documents from the bank but it's been 15 days nobody has bothered to call or update.
To my surprise when I called to check the status they said the request is still not raised or processed. Now I don't understand does it takes 15 days to process the same… I want the necessary management should intervene and check where is the disconnect.

Their communication is terrible. Their ability to process documents takes far too long. I had to call three different times, with a total wait time of 2 hours, send two emails which were both ignored, and visit a branch just to get them to acknowledge that they received my updated documents. It has been more than a week since I was due to receive my salary all because my account was blocked without notice. Now I have incurred late fees for my car payment, and overdraft fees from FAB for all of my automatic payments. Their app is unreliable and does not make anything easier. You still have to call in. The wait times to have anyone help you are unheard of in other organizations and businesses. They are very tricky and sneaky with terms and conditions of credit cards and loans. Twice I was on the verge of going completely broke because of how they run their bank. I finally filed a complaint to the UAE Central Bank after 4 years of banking with them. I will be changing banks as soon as possible. DO NOT bank with FAB.
Desired outcome: Bank needs to reimburse me for fees and speed up time for approving documents and responding to clients.
Account has been unblocked, but now waiting, typical 24-48 hours!, for a letter to send to my work so that I can finally receive my wages, more than one week late! Fees are still coming in because of this incident.
