Ice Maker freezing not allowing the refrigerator to make ice
I brought a Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator. I am having continue issue with the ice maker. It is not a mechanical problem because I have a home warranty, it is an issue that the home warranty will not fix because it is an issue involving the water line that is freezing in the ice maker. I have taken the steps to reset the ice maker and sometimes it workers and but it keeps on happening. There are numerous complaints on youtube about this same issue. Serial Number 4A82514850. [protected] phone number.
Desired outcome: I need a ice maker that works evening if it means Frigidaire replace the refrigerator.
Stainless steel microwave model lfmv1645tf, serial# kg81512187
I spent 28 minutes total on my first call to inquire about why the microwave started blowing my circuit breaker, and yes, it is a dedicated circuit for the appliance in question. After all the navigation through their automated system and the virtual assistant, I was on hold almost 10 minutes to speak to a "warm body". Once the call was answered by a representative, I provided the make and model which as follows: It is a stainless steel 1000 watt microwave, model number LFMV1645TF, serial number KG81512187. I spoke to Nick I believe and explained that the unit started blowing the circuit breaker and it was purchased in 2018. I explained that we changed the breaker because we thought it may have started failing over a couple week period and progressively worsened. Although it is a dedicated line, the problem worsened to a point where it wasnt usable. In the troubleshooting process, we even check the receptacle and also checked continuity to the panel. All was good, so, to be sure it was the unit, we ran an extension cord to another "lightly loaded" circuit and an attempted to operate it. This resulted in the breaker again popping and a flash camp from directly above the control panel. When I explained this to him, he clearly stated that he would allow a "one-time courtesy repair" at no cost. I was elated that they were going to stand by their product. He said he wanted to check with what I perceived as an "inhouse technician" to see if it was just a fuse after I had mentioned that I did some research and that it appeared as though there was a fuse in the void space above the control panel. He put me on hold and after a short period and said I am going to speak to someone and see if it is a fuse and if not, we will get you set up with an authorized service provider. A few minutes later the music stopped (the crap you always have to listen to while on hold) and I thought he was back on the line, then after a few seconds, I went straight to the 3 question survey they ask you to complete, then I was disconnected! I thought maybe they would call back as they have the contact information, but it did not happen. So I went through the entire process, shorter this time as the automated and vitual portions of the call recognized the info I provided on my first attempt. This time, I get a woman and I explain that I was disconnected while on hold and explained where we were at in the process. She attempts to call the info back up, and its there but with no notes. No she tells me they will not extend this one-time courtesy to repair the unit at no cost. I ask for a supervisor and confirmed the reps position, no one time courtesy! Now I'm frustrated because its easily confirmed that I was in the system not 20 minutes earlier but she refused to at least acknowledge that I had a 28 minute call with an earlier rep, information was changed in the system, etc. (Please note that it is stated that calls are recorded for quality assurance, which would easily support the inital representatives committment. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she hung up on me, flat out! Where I am from, our word is solemn, and we do everything to confirm and verify that it is what was communicated by the company's representative. She basically called me a liar, and this is flat out offensive because enough information was able to be verified that my overview was in fact, accurate to the "TEE". Im not sure if this 'board' is consistent with the Consumer Protection Agency that exists in my home state of PA, but I can assure you that I will pursue this vigorously, even if means bringing an attorney in that will cost 10 times more than the product. Everyone should honor their committment!
Desired outcome: Follow through with the committment to provide a one-time courtesy repair to fix the unit even though the warranty was expired
I have the same problem with the microwave. We are just going to get rid of it and buy a different brand name. Our over the range microwave is a stainless steel 2018 model as well. Junk!
Frigidaire Dishwasher
Here are the reasons that I will never purchase another Frigidaire dishwasher:
1.) The upper dishrack wheels tend to break. Once that happens, the upper rack is useless. Frigidaire will not sell the wheels, they will only sell the upper dishrack upwards of $200 which come with wheels.
Fact: the wheels are removeable from the upper rack yet Frigidaire will not sell them separately. This results in a rip-off of the customer.
2.) The upper rack, if not aligned onto the side rails, will not properly engage the water feed tube at the back of the tub. This results in a dishwasher that cannot be used properly.
3.) Customer Service has stated that the dish racks are not an integral part of the dishwasher. Clearly, the dish rack is used to support tableware to permit contact with water from the spray arms. To suggest that the dishrack is not an integral part of the dishwasher is absurd at best.
Our Frigidaire is Model No. FDB2410HIC1 which is no longer manufactured.
I have devoted a significant amount of time and money in an attempt to replace the upper dish rack, all done in vain. Considering how fragile the upper dishrack wheels are, I have decided to replace our dishwasher with a KitchenAid brand, thus not investing any more money in our existing one.
This review is not being submitted to market KitchenAid appliances. However, KitchenAid is considered one of the best dishwasher on the market today. The upper and bottom rack carriages slide in and out with ease thanks to their multi-wheel tandem wheel assemblies. I will never go back to Frigidaire due to their lack of customer service and poor support.

Long wait for service. 1 week wait when not freezing properly. repaired 2 times back order parts did not come before they replaced the freezer. bought another freezer to save my food. The part showed up on my porch 1-2 months later. Then long wait again to take it away. I desposed of it. Frigidaireoffered not compensation, no extended warrenty, nothing for the freezer I bought.
Desired outcome: offer some compensation for my loss.
Very poor service.
refrigerator has very unreliable cooling system.
I have called the customer service number for months, and no one ever answers. The same is true of Lowe's where I purchased the appliance, but finally a manager said they could not help, and t call Electrolux. Again, no replies. I really detest this refrigerator, and I have purchased several in my lifetime, but this is the worst. I have to use a flashlight to see what is in the back of the shelves, and nothing pulls out. I would like a whole new refrigerator, and it is expensive throwing out good food. Many of my fresh home grown veggies and fruit had to be tossed this summer. The colder weather has helped a little, but this does not address the problem. The model number is: FRSS2323AWO. Serial #4A12012608. It is supposed to be the newest model of the side by side, which I have never had. Please call at [protected] and leave a message. My name is Suzanne Tarricone 1305 Campus Drive Vestal, NY 13850 Thank you
Desired outcome: New fridge, different style. I will pay more, but frankly, I do not want this brand.
Appliance Extended Warranty
My kitchen has Frigidaire appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher). I have purchased extended warranties for all of them. Over Thanksgiving, my stove began emitting carbon monoxide. The fire department came and determined the issue was with the stove/range. I've been trying to call Frigidaire to book a repair visit under my extended warranty, but when I call, I get a message that "due to unusually high call volume, we are unable to take your call at this time". There is no option to leave a message or have somebody get back to me.
I have paid good money for these extended warranties, however Frigidaire is not allowing me to file a claim in any way to even get the appliance looked at. It is extremely frustrating!
Desired outcome: I would like Frigidaire to allow me to speak to somebody so I can get a repair scheduled. I'm not asking for anything for which I haven't already paid for. I can be reached at [protected]
Product and customer service.
I bought a freezer on 7/22/2021 and it stopped working after Ida hurricane. I tried to call customer service for warranty and had a first appointment on second week of Oct, 2021. Logistic was the first company! The company sent a technician out to fix the freezer 4 times, but couldn't fix it.
I called the customer service again. Solar Appliance, the second company came and couldn't fix it.
I called the customer service again and they sent Major Appliance company and couldn't fix it.
I called the customer service again to see if I can get a replacement. But I was transferred one line to another and another line. They Representative couldn't answer my simple question that how many more repair companies they are going to come and fix it. Finally I had to ask to talk to a manager who can give me a clear answer. Unbeliever able, he asked me to call these companies to submit report tickets the Frigidaire.
This man gave me his name, Jean and he confirmed that he is a manager. This man has no sense at all when he tried to asked me to call the companies those they tried to hire to repair the freezer. No sense at all! He was so rude and hung up my phone when I tried to ask the same question "How many more companies that you want to hire before I can get a replacement"
I really had a very bad experience when contacting the customer service of the company. I just wonder that the service of the company is bad or the company hired a punch of bad people working in front line of service.
I called at least 15 times and talked to many different Rep. My freezer hasn't been fixed yet.
My recommendation: "DON'T BUY ANY PRODUCT OF FRIGIDAIRE." OR " You will be mad like me when contacting low customer skill, sense and language"

I purchased a new lennar home in 2018 and was so excited to start my new life in AZ.I was so happy and the Frigidaire appliances looked good but later found out the refrigerator had some serious issues. My refrigerator has cold spots that actually freeze eggs etc at 40 degrees, I was shocked.I came to realize the cheap plastic shelves in both the freezer and refrigerator are made of plastic and break very easily, never before did I have this problem and I am in my mid 50s.
I was cleaning my refrigerator storage areas on the door, same as the freezer and as I was trying to remove it for periodic cleaning it broke off and some of my glass bottles in my refrigerator fell on my floor and almost fell on my foot, there was broken glass.I was thankful nothing cut my feet.
I was amazed and came to realize Frigidaire sells faulty products that look good but have cheap plastic accessories that could potentially harm people.I will notify Lennar builders my complaints and experiences with Frigidaire products.I am so disappointed, this should never have happened.Cheap storage racks in both freezer and refrigerator, SHAME on Frigidaire.
Desired outcome: replace my storage racks on refrigerator and freezer and resolve cold spots issue.
Dehumidifier
Product has faulty condenser (no Freon) and has never worked; warranty says 5 years on sealed parts; service says warranty was changed and parts not covered: no parts available anyway per service; customer service repeatedly asked same questions over and over then left me on hold for over 20 minutes; entire unit should be replaced at no charge; I am aware of class action suit and will be joining if need be.

Desired outcome: Replacement or gift card
Frigidaire model FG4H2272UF
Back on July 28, we made our first call to Frigidaire to report problems with our refrigerator. We'd had the fridge for less than 2 years. We had a Frigidaire authorized repair person come out to service the fridge - and he couldn't get to us until August 17 (so we were without a working fridge for 3 weeks (though the fridge hadn't been working right for several months prior, though we didn't call about a repair until July). The repair estimate at that time was $1513. That is when I called and pleaded with the customer service rep to consider handling this under warranty - and they did.
We then had to wait until September 14 for another repair person to come out. When they did they said that the sealed system needed repair. The fridge was still not working. They couldn't send someone out until September 30th to repair. By now, we haven't had a working refrigerator for two full months! On September 30th the service guy replaced the compressor and stepper valve. Right after that (on October 1st) I signed up for an ESA because I wanted to make sure I was covered if anything happened (and your service rep had suggested we do that). I would not have signed up at that time if I realized that the fridge hadn't been repaired fully. I would have waited until the fridge was working properly.
Unfortunately, less than two weeks later the refrigerator started acting up again with the same issue as before. We called Frigidaire again and they had the same service guys come out again. They couldn't come back until November 8th. When they came out on November 8th, they now said the unit needed a new motherboard (the original fix of the new compressor didn't fix the original problem).
At this point is where the problems really begin. Because I had purchased an ESA, they transferred this over to the ESA team and decided to cover it under the ESA and not treat it as part of the original problem. I could not even talk to anyone because when I called and went to the ESA, my calls were hung up on. The phone system said there were too many calls to handle, call back and then just hung up! After trying to reach someone for what felt like weeks, I finally found out today they are going to replace the refrigerator. That sounded great - except we have to pay taxes, delivery and disposal fees (more than $179). Additionally, they told me that the ESA I had just purchased on October 1st for $275 was now null and void and if I wanted coverage I would have to purchase a new ESA.
It doesn't seem fair to me that in addition to paying $99 for the very initial service call (before they agreed to service it under the first year warranty), I paid $275 for an ESA, will have to pay $179+ to get the new fridge and then purchase another ESA to get any kind of extended coverage (to say nothing of the multiple times I had to throw out spoiled food from my freezer and my refrigerator).
Desired outcome: I would like to get a 3-year extended warranty along with the replacement refrigerator, at no additional cost
Refrigerator
We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator August 15, 2021 for our rental property. We thought we were doing a good upgrade for our tenants. After being delivered around September 15, 2021, the refrigerator stopped working after a week or never really worked well from the start. After weeks of speaking with customer service they decided to replace the fridge since they had no one to fix it in our area. The replacement fridge was finally scheduled to be delivered to the house around October 18, 2021. We now been in this process for two months! Then we get a call from the trucking company stating that the fridge was not put on the proper truck and will not be delivered that day. Now we are at November 18, 2021 and still no fridge! Frigidaire or the trucking company have been unable to tell us where our fridge is, when it will arrive, etc. Frigidaire has taken little to no responsibility for the problem. We are now in month 4 with no fridge and had to rent a fridge until this one arrives. They have not answered our questions directly and continue to take no responsibility.
Desired outcome: Still no refrigerator

This is in unacceptable for anyone to go without a refrigerator that was purchased in March 2021.
If the product is one year old and a user has to wait over a month to get the product fixed this is bad business and bad products.
Our families are missing birthdays and holiday celebrations in our home due to this failure of Frigidaire Products
Requesting expedited fixing or new fridge replaced immediately
Desired outcome: Need a response and fix expedited immediately please
We are in the same predicament, it’s now been over 3 months and our tenants have the fridge we purchased for them. We had to rent one for the holidays for them!
Frigidaire Freezer
We Bought a Frigidaire freezer from Home Depot in Pocatello Idaho in June and it worked for a total of 6 days and quit after many calls We finally got a repair man out and He ordered two boards for it because he did not know which one it was. No Boards ever showed up, told they were on backorder and now the repair guy said they are done because it has been so long. In the mean time Becky has spent hours on the phone trying to get ahold of a supervisor which I don't think have one . She have been on hold now for almost two hours and was finally disconnected. So We have a freezer that the warranty will be up in June which ran a total of 6 days. One of the people she talked to the other day thought She should buy an extended warranty, what a f/// joke
Desired outcome: Get our money back and get it out of our site
We are in the same predicament, it’s now been over 3 months and our tenants have the fridge we purchased for them. We had to rent one for the holidays for them!
dishwasher
This is going to be fun... like a root canal.
I bought a Frigidare dishwasher model FGID2468UFIA in Aug 2020 but didn't receive it until late Dec. The $#@& thing broke down in 3 weeks. Ah, simple warranty repair you say? That was and is still, a nightmare. Had it repaired 3 times and it stopped 1-3 weeks after each. Now it's down again and they referred me to Peninsula Appliance repair. Oh joy, they want a credit card and a $100 deposit just in case Frigidare refuses to pay them. So I call back, yet again, and all you get s a 40 minute hold time and click, over to their evaluation of call. I've had it... it's time for a lawsuit under the CA Lemon Law.

Desired outcome: now just want a credit for entire amount back to Airport Appliance so I can buy a new dishwasher... NON Firgidare of course
Dishwasher
We purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher in September to replace a not-that-old Frigidaire that no longer worked. The touch pad went and it was impossible to start it. Now this one that is only 3 months old, no longer works. The door doesn't latch, so water spews out all over the place and the touch pad no longer works, so you can't even turn it off.
I went to Lowe's and I need a 'serial number' - yet cannot find one on the stupid dishwasher anywhere.
I don't have the energy to deal with this. Now I have people coming for Thanksgiving next week and no working dishwasher.
Desired outcome: I want my money back immediately - Frigidaire - never again! Twice burned.
Gallery side by side refrigerator / freezer
Placed service call with my Extended Service Agreement number in hand. They could not find it altough the email was actually FROM Frigidaire. My freezer temperature is going from 10 to 54 degrees (frozen food thawed and was destroyed) . My refrigerator is at approx 45 (food has started to spoil)
I requested an escalation and was given an email (briana.[protected]@electrolux.com) but was told she was a meeting but would call me back. I forwarded back to them their ESA purchase contract email.
I have heard from no one and I have a 5 year old appliance with a current ESA and it is effectively dead.
Desired outcome: I want to have a repairman at my home quickly. The holidays are next week !!!
Stove
I purchased my home two years ago, all fridgidaire appliances. All brand new, peeled the sticker off when I bought the home. Appliances were purchased a year before I bought the home. Dishwasher didnt make it one year, oven heating element caught a small fire and cracked in half. I called and the appliances only have one year warranty. SO the warranty was over by the time I bought the home. Have some integrity, this is horrific and I would never recommend nor purchase their appliances in the future. Absolute CRAP!
Desired outcome: REPLACE THE PARTS!
refridgerator
I bought a Frigidaire fridge/freezer on October 16th and it was delivered the 30th of Oct .It is now nov.9 and i have lost all my food in this appliance because it stopped getting cold. I have call home-depot to where i bought it and they can't send somebody out to look at it till the 15th of November. So now i have to go buy something like a cooler and bags of ice to keep what i absolutely need until then .I also plan to file a complaint with home-depot and will not shop there again .I had this appliance less then two weeks paid for it already and now it's broken. Disgusting . No wonder in the warrenty you say you will not pay for any food ruined by your appliance. I have called anyone and everyone i know and it's just pass the buck.
We are in the same predicament, it’s now been over 3 months and We had to rent one for the holidays for them! The customer service has been a joke. So frustrating!

Frigidaire refrigerator model Ffss2615ts2
This is the most ridiculous piece of equipment I have ever owned. I have a Sears in my garage that's 15 years old which is a better refrigerator than this two year old Frigidaire which is never worked correctly from the very beginning that it was delivered to me. It continues to make groaning noises all the time the icemaker does not work half the time in distributing ice it locks up and the trays that are in the bottom of the refrigerator have all broken the mornings and they're almost unusable. We had service representatives come out when it was brand new and they have not are they were unable to fix the problem and nothing else was ever done just want to know this is the biggest piece of crap I've ever grown and I will never buy a Frigidaire product again and I will tell everyone I know they shouldn't buy a Frigidaire product so I'm sure this doesn't make any difference to you but it should. I'm a 68 year old responsible person just to let you know as to who I am
Thank you
