Frigidaire Refrigerator

Imagine a 747 taking off in your kitchen,

That's the noise our appliance is making, it's under warranty, the guy came out and fixed" today, except he did not .

I'm at a loss of what to do .

This is causing stress you can't imagine .

For the love of god please help me .

We need HELP

Desired outcome: Replace the damned thing , or fix it . This is unacceptable

Frigidaire Frigidaire upright freezer

We purchased an upright Frigidaire Freezer from Home Depot It was delivered to me in November of 2020. On March 19th 2021 the alarm started going off and we called Frigidaire and they were suppose to send a Tech out. The company diagnosed the problem over the phone and said they would order parts. We lost all of our meat and items in our freezer as it was warming from the top down. The company said the parts were on back order and didn't know when they would be in stock. Frigidaire then called another company to come and diagnose the freezer but they could not come until May 19th. That is the one and only time we have a tech at our home. They ordered the parts and set an apt for July 14th, 2021 between 8-12 and they never showed up or called me I had to call them and find out what was going on and the said the parts did not come in so they set another apt for Aug 21st again they did not show up and I called and we set a new apt for Sept 11th and they did not show up then it was set for Sept 28. I have called Frigidaire so many times and they have said they have me set up for a replacement freezer or a refund. So here it is over 6 months later it's September 29th, 2021 and the freezer is still not working I just talked to a lady at frigidaire and she told me we are starting the process over again with getting a tech out again to install the parts I told her I am done with this and I want a refund and she told me that wasn't possible and I wanted to speak with the manager and she said that it was not possible either. Frigidaire is absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with. The do not care about there customers!

Desired outcome: I want a refund I have a brand new freezer that 6 out of the 10 months has not worked.

Frigidaire "professional" dishwasher

to whom this will concern, I recently purchased a frigidaire "professional" dishwasher and has locked up in a drain? cycle after only 2 uses! 9-22-2-21 I cannot get it to reset using the instructions in the manual and CANNOT get any customer support to resolve the issue over the phone! the phone robot sends me to a support number that issues a prerecorded message and drops the call! and the customer care at Frigidaire link does not work so I cannot email my complaint to the company!

Frigidaire Dehumidifier

To whom it may concern,

Reference Complaint 84842370

Pursuant to the above, I request replacement of my Frigidaire Dehumidifier. On or about September 17th it stopped running and was showing an "EC" code on the control panel. Tried several times over the weekend to restart with the same result. Until its failure, I was very happy with its performance.

On September 21st, I spoke with a representative (1st Steve and then an other after I called back because of a system upgrade) about the failure of my Model FFAD5033W1 Dehumidifier. I was told it is not serviceable and that the entire unit would have to be replaced. An email was sent with all of the pertinent requirements needed to process a claim. All of the required information was provided and a response was sent later the same day indicating the claim would be honored and a replacement sent within 10 days. On September 22, I received a system generated email stating my dehumidifier is no longer eligible for a warranty claim because of my original date of purchase.

The unit in question has been in my basement just over 12 months. All indications, on-line, reveal Frigidaire warranties their products for 5 years. Based on my most recent conversation with Lai, I have a new model which has only a year. This product has run less than a year when considering it is not used during the winter months here in the Northeast. I spent $392.43 on a product which functioned less than 9 months. I purchased from a local shop, not a big box, with the expectation of a purchase which would include a manufacturer which stands behind their products. This is not a case of years over, it is 44 days over with a likely run time of less than 280 days.

I request reconsideration of my claim and replacement of my dehumidifier. The failure of such a new product with such little use is unacceptable. It brings to question the quality of the products being produced by Frigidaire, especially when such a significant change in warranty is considered. As a consumer who tries to spend wisely, it forces me to reconsider any purchase of Frigidaire products in the future. Thanks again for your reconsideration of this matter.

Frigidaire Freezer

Bought freezer Aug 2020. Feb of 2021 freezer started forming ice and then defrosting. Morris appliance came out and supposingly fixed it. Started having trouble again called again A & E came out said they would order the part and come back. Have not seen the since and have had 2 appoints with them both being a no show and they do not call to cancel they just don't show. I have spoken with several reps, I have spoken with April a supervisor out of Athen Ga who was going to call be back but didn't, I have spoken with a supervisor by the name of Lauren who left me on hold for over 30 min because she thought I would hang up.

I have been told for months that parts are ordered or delayed or on back order and that they will be expediting them. I have lost 2 freezer full of food and lost 2 days waiting for a service man that never shows or calls. I'm told it can't be replaced until a repairman deems it unrepairable, but no repairman comes. When is it deemed a lemon? Do I have to sue because I will.

Good afternoon,

My electric induction stove stop working after doing a self-cleaning and I contacted this company about 10-15 times and the issue still not resolve. they send me two different companies technician and they both told me that its un-repairable which Frigidaire should know by now but when I call Frigidaire they keep telling me that the touch board/ main board etc needs to be replace so they will keep sending people to my apartment to tell me the same thing " its not working" they have change the touch pannel/ board control and everything that they could more than 3 times and its about 3 months. I never get to speak with a supervisor and they never resolve my issue, it seems that the warranty is for nothing.

Desired outcome: The stove is not working after like 6 appointments with different technicians

Frigidaire Range model: fgeh3047vfc serial: vf03582526

Purchased a range in good faith and delivered October 13, 2021 from homedepot (I have receive and proof). Range was used right away as we need to eat and cook at home due to specific healthy lifestyle. Range started beeping since the moment after cooking first meal but thought it was just telling us it was hot and it was a warning. Then noticed it started turning on by itself (all after using it). Alarm went on and on 24/7, the range woke us up numerous times, self cleaning damaged all baked foods, my hand got burn twice as the range turned on by itself, light oven kept turning. We went out of town for the weekend and we came back, pots and everything on top were hot and plastic was melted. We had to pull the range and kept outside its place to unplug after each use since purchased, limiting space in the kitchen and making look ugly! Called Frigidaire several times and they sent the technician. This did not help, lost count on how many parts were replaced! I had to take time off from work and cancel activities to wait for technician thinking it would be the end of the problem, which technician clearly stated that this specific range has been problematic and defective. Wall plug where the range has been connected over hundreds times is now damage and was afraid that it would catch fire on me one day for plugging and unplugging this defective range! Automatic system from Frigidaire stopped answering my calls and directed me to call the technician of ROYAL Appliances directly (they have 3 companies in Houston) so I called but was told I had to pay as Frigidaire was not paying for repairs anymore and I had to pay out of my packet. I called Frigidaire which took a while as they stopped answering my calls (I have logs of all the calls I made). On August 16, 2021 after not been able to get a technician I was told by Frigidaire that they would review the situation and would let me know if they would or could do something else for this defective range. I called them so many times with not concrete response for a month, several reps hung up on me or just left me on hold and never came back on to the line. I kept calling until 2 weeks later was told that perhaps I would get approved for a range replacements. I kept calling to see when or how but not solution yet. Finally, I received an email from "unknown" company stating that there would be a delivery for an "OVEN" so I called Frigidaire and they confirmed that I was scheduled to get a replacement on September 16, 2021, which a day before I received 3 emails and several calls, and texts stating that the "OVEN" would be delivered 09/16/2021 from 5:30-8:30pm so I took a day off from work again to receive the range! By 8.35pm I received a call from Texas home pro stating that the delivery person got injured and was not able to deliver the "oven" and that they would call me again to make arrangements for 09/17/2021 delivery. No one called, emailed or texted this time. I called 09/17/2021 directly to INSTALLS inc Customer Service and was told that there is NOTHING on stack, they don't have any range or oven to be delivered and they have no clue when or how or whom would deliver it that Frigidaire did not sent anything to them for me. Called Frigidaire again and they had scheduled the delivered as of yesterday. I asked them for my money back and they repair of electric outlet. At this point I have no more energy to spend on this horrible situation that put me and family at risk for not providing the right normal meals for a year!
At this point I cannot and won't deal with Frigidaire or their techs or delivery service/warehouse, this all seem a joke to them for the consumer. Please help!

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I purchased a new refrigerator from my local Lowes store back in February. It immediately started forming ice inside the top of the freezer door. It is a top freezer style. It has been serviced once and has only gotten worse. They are coming back today but I will be very surprised it it can be repaired. It looks like it is defective where the seal meets the top corner. The ribbit that holds it together is covered with a small plastic strip. It looks like it is not allowing the door to make a complete seal therefore the air from outside the freezer is getting in around the seal causing condensation which freezes and makes a mess inside the door. I really think the whole design is defective. It also didn't fit in the space where it sits. My cabinet cannot be put back and I used the measurements of my old refrigerator to make sure I got the proper fit and it was not. So not only do I have a defective product the measurements were not correct and now I have a cabinet that has no place to sit. I am very frustrated. I would love a refrigerator that not only works properly but that would have also matched the measurements stated online.

Desired outcome: Get a new refrigerator that works and fits according to its represented measurements to fit in my cabinet space.

Frigidaire VF11018456

Purchased oven from Home Depot. The stove was delivered on September 9, 2021. We noticed that the oven door was damaged and the lower pan to the oven was missing paint on both sides. Went back to Home Depot on the September 11th and told them of the damages to the stove.
They gave me a number to call Frigidaire [protected]. I called this morning and spoke to service department. The gentle man said I could have two options, one to replace the stove or have a service man come out to repair the door. Upon further inspection we found further damage to the pan in the oven, missing paint on both sides. I called Frigidaire back at noon and told Dim a service rep. that I now wanted the stove replaced. She told me that the repair man coming out on September 22, will decide if the stove will be replaced. I asked for a supervisor and was denied access to a supervisor. Why would I purchase a damaged stove and why was I told this morning I could get a replacement only to be refused when further damages were found. Dim's reference number is [protected].

Frigidaire Freezer repair

Within 8 months of purchase of a new freezer the compressor blew. I filed for a repair, received confirmation, then was told by the third party repair company that I was out of their service area. Frigidaire claimed they were the only company in my area to service my warranty.
After multiple phone calls the company eventually came to tell me what I knew, that the compressor had blown. Then ordered the part and we had scheduled repair services in three weeks.
The day the service was supposed to take place, I received an email that the parts were on backorder for two months. This would put me out of warranty.
After hours and multiple phone calls I eventually received an extension on our warranty.
Two months later, Frigidaire informs me they are implementing a new service model and my pending repair has been canceled, so I'll have to start over.
The freezer cannot be returned unless Frigidaire declares it cannot be repaired. Frigidaire claims it can be repaired, but they are not doing anything to repair the freezer.
Less than one year after purchase of a brand new appliance and I've been without the use of the appliance for nearly five months. I've spent dozens of hours getting nowhere with customer service and have gotten no closer to a solution. I would happily return the appliance if possible.

I have the same problem with my freezer and have had 2 service dates with no shows and part on back order seems to be a common problem. What do you do now?

Frigidaire New FRSS2623AS/serial # 4A12514416 A big problem since day 1.

NOTE SENT TO FRIGIDAIRE ON 9/2/21 AT 1138

On 8/2/21 we ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot. Item # FRSS2623AS, serial # 4A12514416. Upon delivery on 8/7/21 we were told that it would take at least 24 hours to start making ice. As it still wasn't making ice on OR freezing on 8/10/21 I went to Home Depot and spoke with the Appliances Manager. I was told by him that there was nothing he could do as it was beyond the return period of 48 hours. We then spent the entire day talking to the Philippines about our problem. They were as helpful as they could be and scheduled us for a service appointment through a company named Appliance Service Plus. I forget the actual date we we given by the people in the Philippines but when I called Appliance Service Plus to confirm the service date they said that date was invalid and the actual service date would be on 8/25/21. The ice maker is now working however the freezer works intermittently, the touch panel on the freezer door does not register/show the condition of the filter we installed and there is now a very annoying alarm that comes on intermittently and sounds off 3 times every minute. Along with that alarm is a warning in red that comes on and says "HIGH TEMP". Additionally if the freezer setting is changed the freezer stops freezing all together and it takes a day or so before it starts freezing again. In order to not go through the spoiled food routine and because of my lack of confidence in the "NEW" refrigerator we went out and bought a stand alone freezer. As I mentioned above our service date was on 8/25/21 and a service technician did come and look at refrigerator. He condemned the "mother board" and the "touch panel". My understanding is that it may be quite a while before these parts are received because the priority goes to making new refrigerators and not those that were already sold.
Needless to say I am very upset about this, not only in the fact that the unit is not working properly but also due to the fact that Frigidaire is a name I grew up with and had confidence in. That is no longer the case!
Please help us. We paid $1310.63 for a new working refrigerator. We are planning on selling our house within the next 2 years and at one time were considering all new Frigidaire products but due to our recent experience that probably won't happen plus I would find it hard to recommend Frigidaire to anyone. Due to the fact that replacement parts for our unit are not a priority and we are left with a defective, totally unreliable unit I feel as though replace this unit would be the best course of action. I look forward to hearing back from someone regarding this very frustrating issue.

Frigidaire Customer service and technical service

I bought a Beverage Center on August 9, 2021. It works and cools except that the display to allow you to adjust the temperature does not. After checking and finding I cannot get another unit from any location within 50 miles of me nor online, I emailed customer service.

Customer service replied back that they sent the issue to technical support and to expect a reply within 72 hours. I waited 120 hours (5 days) before emailing again. After another three days with no response, I called the customer service line.

The representative apologized, took my information, and told me she would email me a reference number. She also said to expect a call from technical support on either 8/30/21 or 8/31/21 between 8AM and 5PM (EST).

No email and no phone call. I am keeping the item as I cannot replace it, it is the right size for my needs, and it works at the factory temperature setting.

However, I will never purchase anything from Frigidaire again.

Frigidaire Professional microwave

I had a marshmallow sitting on a piece of chocolate on a microwave safe plate on 8/23/21. It started shooting flames from the right wall. I took it out and considered it a random incident. Two days later, on 8/25/21, it did it again while I was cooking a microwaveable container of Velveeta Mac-n-Cheese.

I unplugged it immediately the second time. This is frightening!

What is the warranty? Is there a recall?

Frigidaire Refrigerator

Noticed some small brown spots on my new stainless fridge a few months ago, handle to freezer showing some pitting, then small brown spots on upper fridge. Looks like rust, had local dealer rep come out, in 30 seconds he looked at my floor, then fridge, and replied something spilled on it. Really? Stainless steel. Reps office talked to Fridgidaire rep, repeated what service tech said. No resolution.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

This is the worse refrigerator we have ever had! I never took the insurance but I see now why it's pushed.
I am 78 years old and I am disgusted on the quality of the refrigerator.
I know you don't care just want to see refrigerators and make us pay for the Insurance.
I will tell everyone I can to not buy Frigidaire.
Is there anyone left in this company with the integrity to assure your products are what they used to be and why you had such a good name.

Frigidaire Refrigerator 2019 side by side

The drawer racks and condiment drawers have broken this week. The racks on the bottom drawer just broke off and now just have exposed glass shelf. The condiment drawer broke and spilled glass bottles to the floor. Model LFSS2612TF0 SERIAL 4A9611087

Frigidaire Freezer broke and frigidaire won't help

Freezer broke. They sent out a tech who said it's a common problem. Ordered parts but were not received. Company said they would replace the freezer back in June 2021. It's 8/19/2021 and haven't received the replacement though it was scheduled to be here on 7/13, 8/13, 8/17, and 8/19. They refuse to deliver it and I keep having to call and complain

Desired outcome: I would like a refund for the freezer as well as all the food I lost and compensation for the hassle over the last 3 months

Frigidaire Room air conditioner

The first 2 room AC units broke after 3 uses. The 3rd one stopped working now we used it once. We had the repair man out they wanted and he said it was not repairable. (big surprise). We have everything documented and are doing this on our 96 year old mothers behalf who has asthma. She has been without AC now all summer. I call the 1-800 number and either get told " we are to busy to take your call and I get disconnected, or just get disconnected. The wait times are close to 45 min each time I call. We have called at least 30 times regarding this unit. It seems as if this procedure is advancing at a minuscule pace, but why? Just order the damn thing and send it to my mothers house. My frustration level is 500! I was suppose to hear from them today regarding if they were able to "locate" one for us. I haven't heard and its now 4:35pm I've called and the call got let go 3x because you are to busy. This is a nightmare and I wouldn't recommend a frigidaire product to anyone. People want a product the company will stand behind and help when we need it. There is a 5 year warranty on this unit and by the time I get help the 5 years will have passed.
To say our family is upset is an understatement... our mother is 96 YEARS OLD! SHE HAS ASTHMA! SHE NEEDS THE UNIT NOW not in a year.

I been having issues with my appliance for almost a year and no one seems to get the issue resolve the techs are turning down the jobs saying there not coming back out because they came already but when they came they never resolved the issue . I think after months of dealing with this they could've did whatever it's that they do for me go purchase another refrigerator what's the good of a warranty if it's useless .
