emailed Vanessa Lopez who works GoldsGym InSanta Barbara, requesting my membership be cancelled as of 11/27. She replied to my email the next day &asked for my full name which I gave to her.She sent me an email on 12/05 asking reason for cancellation, a week later when she could have asked for that info in the 1stemail. I was not only charged for dec. I was also charged additional$40

Gold's Gym personal trainer

I have reserved for 12 session with personal trainer in Kalibata City Gold Gym!

I have only taken up to now is 7 session because the Personal Trainer was suddenly resigned.

She was my second PT. My 1st PT was not that good. I did not feel secure with her when working out.

While, I only wanted to have PT with female. They have 3 females PT.

When, they transferred me to the third female PT, this woman have canceled the schedule twice.

I was so furious, I have called the customer service but no response.

I don't want to continue the sessions, I want my money back.

Otherwise, give me free 5 months membership.

11/14 / 2018 I was at Golds Gym 6511 Fm 1488 Rd, Magnolia, TX 77354. Time around 12.30 PM I found someone cut my padlock on locker & steal all my personal belongings almost worth of 1000 $ including my wedding ring. I informed duty manager & he just wrote my name & phone number & said I will inform you after check cameras. That's it. No one call me...

Gold's Gym complaining the staff and manager

I workout today November 28, 2018 at Golds Gym Acropolis between 3:00pm to 3:30pm I was rudely stop by a trainer in the middle of my workout he said " Have you log in? " with a very rude tone like his the owner of the branch and I am his maid. And there is one guy who actually hear what his telling me. I said no, because I don't know that I need to sign in every time I will workout because I was not inform by the guy at the reception when I registered using metrodeal voucher. I was not informed about the things that I should keep in mind with my membership using metro deal voucher. I thought that signing in was just purely to earn points that I could redeem anytime which I don't care. The trainer who rudely stop me said " You disrespected the manager by not logging in" like I was working out there for FREE! And what's funny was I started to workout at Gold Acropolis last September 2018 and they haven't advice me that I should sign in first every visit. So he insisted that I should sign using the biometrics which I don't have any [censored]ing idea was that for! He didn't ASK me how did I got my membership he just ASSUMED that I should use the biometrics and then I told him that I use metrodeal and he was a bit surprised then he pulled out this old looking tablet that was so slow and use my phone number to sign in. After that I ask him when will I finished my membership and what's really [censored]ing hilarious was he told me " Sorry but the guy who registered you with us ( co worker of him ) didn't put any information on your record" WHAT THE [censored]? I think the manager should do the talking in this kind of situation because the trainer acts like a trainer from a very cheap and filthy gym. I'm thinking you should re train the manager and the trainer he could have waited for me to finish my workout and they could have ask me nicely alone without any other people listening because for all I know I PAID for it! SO I COULD WORKOUT THERE WHETHER USING A METRODEAL OR A CREDIT CARD!

I didn’t know managers in Harlingen tx name Chris were allowed to contact customers that work out at the gym and try to get them to hang out and have drinks but I guess that’s okay with hiring people that think since they are managers that they can do what ever they want to the people that they in role .

Gold's Gym ruining gold's gym reputation and cheating customers

Hi, i am a member of gold's gym Palam Vihar, gurgaon. This gym is worst than a night mare, basic amenities are not met, which any local gym would easily do.
1. All machines make noise,
2. equipments are all either broken or just there for the sake of being.
3. Good trainers are leaving job as they are not getting paid since last four months. There are hardly any trainer left.
4.one by one all group classes are discontinued due to payment issue.
I hope you can understand frustration of a person who enrolled here just because it's gold's gym branch and now am stuck here for a year. I request you to either have an audit or at least discontinue there franchise, as they ruining gold's gym reputation.

Gold's Gym lost item

I left my pair of shoes in the locker last 10/18. I am completely unaware that my stuff can't be stored inside the locker overnight. Honestly, it has been inside that locker for a month and it was never removed there since i have been using it 3 times a week. I went back to the gym last 10/24 to get some exercise but to my surprise, the locker's padlock has been removed and my new pair of gym shoes are no longer there. I immediately reported it to the management and advised me that the facilities could have vault cut it since it can't be left locked overnight. I'm unable to talk to the manager of Gold's Gym Glorietta since i work night shift and did not have the time to wait for him during regular hours. I've been calling their office to follow up on this but until now they could not tell me where that is. I was advised that management log the items stored in a specific locker number whenever they do vault cuts and store it somewhere but until now they could not give me an answer where did they put my pair of shoes. I hope you can help me at least find out who took it out from that secured locker.

Gold's Gym branch palam vihar gurugram india

My golds gym membership number is 6627 .

I joined this palam vihar branch 1 month ago. I paid for the gym and also for the personal training.

In total I gave 21000 rupees

No personal training is being provided. I have requested the owner of the gym MR GAURAV RANA to resolve my issue. Earlier he said he will resolve it but now is ignoring my calls and messag

yesterday I sent him message on whatsapp asking to resolve the problem, he said I will call you soon but whole day I waited and I messaged him again he blocked me on whatsapp.

He committed several times that he will solve the problem but he has solved it till now.

i request you to support me and take strict action against this gym

Gold's Gym worst exp

Membership with Gold gym is one of the worst exp I ever had in my life ... I had some physical injuries after doing training with them .. they didnot account anything on that and on top of it they said they cannot cancel the membership ever after I provided letter from doctor stating that I cannot continue workout, .. the customer care rep said they don't care abt that they care only 30 day cancellation policy and they threatened me that they will go to collection if I didnot pay the fee whether I use it or whether Iam fit enough to continue or not .

Gold's Gym unprofessional customer service in jordan

Dear Sir / Madam,

I first came to Gold's wanting a 2 months subscription because I would be traveling afterwards. I was so excited because it's a well known gym, has various awesome classes, clean, and very close to me and my sister's residence.
The sales person convinced me that I only pay 25 Jordanian dinars extra for the subscription and I can transfer the membership to my sister when I want to travel. I found out later that there are 39 JoDs membership transfer. We paid it and we said it's a sales person tactic and it should have been fine.

But then, my sister has been trying to go to the gym for a week now and she's been doing her best to make up time as she's a working mother of three children and then you wouldn't let her in the gym because you don't have her name in your system ! I find it really unprofessional and humiliating to keep her waiting outside the gym for an hour and wouldn't let her in and wouldn't acknowledge your mistake and you still haven't called yet. You have also given different information about the beginning of the subscription.

On the other hand, when I was trying to print the results of my training during the two months where I attended yoga and body pump classes regularly. Your PT didn't print it for me, he showed it only in computer and has told me that he doesn't believe in body pump classes and I have only lost few kilos.

I also want to mention a third point, I subscribed for private swimming classes, the teacher only went swimming with me once or twice. The rest, she was watching and directing me from above.
I don't know if thats your own method of swimming classes, I asked her several times, especially that there are techniques that I want to see and not only hear of but she was either on her period, or it was her shift of supervising the pool or sick.

I want to express my frustration and disappointment of such well known gym to be
1. Let its costumers down and does not appreciate their time and trust in your gym.
2. Your own employees (trainers) don't believe in your classes and again, don't value the costumers time spent in the gym.

Gold's Gym a problem with golds gym nile egypt

Hi golds team.. i have an urgent issue with the team of golds gym nile (egypt) .. first iam a member of golds gym zayed ( hadayek el mohandsen -egypt) .. today i went to golds gym nile they refused to let me in and they told me that golds gym zayed is not among our franchise so i dont understand what is happening i was too upset from this situation as i have been a golds member for 3 years ... i hope u can give me a quick respond

Gold's Gym customer service

The customer service here is terrible, the greeters and staff are no professional, this gym went through 5+ general managers every time it changes a manager it also changes my billing plan. I have been trying to cancel my membership for two weeks and the general manager won't make time for me. I feel like they are sucking the money out of me and won't let me cancel my membership it makes me so uncomfortable and unhappy.

Gold's Gym refund of personal trainer services

My wife had renewed personal trainer services ( 3 months- May- july) ) at Gold gym, Indirapuran, Noida, India. Earlier she had taken the services of same personal trainer for 6 months.

The personal trainer went on leave in the very first month for 7 days, next month the Gym was partially closed for renovation with only cardio facility functional so no training was imparted to her by the personal trainer. The very next month the personal trainer left the gym with no intimation to us and she requested for a refund. She was asked to try another trainer under which she only trained for a day, She was not comfortable and asked for suitable refund as comfort was prime imporatnce to her being a lady. The incharge Mr Saurav didnt listen to her and she hence left the gym with only a day presence on last month i.e July. He membershio was valid till Sep, 18.

We shifted in Aug and joined Gold Gym, Gurgaon on annual membership. I have written numerous mails to Gold gym, Inditapuram, to North india head and also escalated issue to VP Marketing but no one bothers to call or revert also. The local team clearly sided us by saying refund not valied inspite of all facts given. The Northern head did check details and also asked us to take balance sessions by female trainer at same fgym which is 60 kms away from our residence now. W ehave asked for refund/ transferring sessions of 3 months at the present Gold Gym which they have denied and now noone answers. All the mails are being cced to Wecare, customer care mails iDs of gold gym india but noone cares

The whole experience is bitter.

Gold's Gym membership

Hello,

I spoke to golds gym in co row Tx who instructed me to call [protected] and speak with them about that my account was not cancelled when I had Keith Holden a district manager put in my formal written cancellation notice. This gym also shows my account is under 2 different barcode numbers both which are wrong. The representative at the number I called said they do not handle delinquent accounts and they refer the member back to their club manager to give the member the collection information and resolve for that person. However when I called back and spoke to Shawn he said Elliot the manager would call me back because he can see where my account was cancelled but I also show another account active in collections. I have yet to receive a call back from Elliot in order to resolve this issue. I was told to give a 30 day notice and written notice of cancellation which I did with a District Manager at the time since he was working out of the Gold's gym in Conroe Tx. I followed these instructions and now I'm getting hit on my credit because this Hold's failed to follow proper procedure and cancel my account almost a year ago! I need a resolution as I am disputing this charge through TransUnion also and I still have prof of this cancellation letter.

Gold's Gym I tried to hold my membership but they wouldn't do it by phone

I'm proud member of Gold's gym..and i really enjoy the gym.. but to be honest the Ceo of Golds gym in Saudi arabia mr Raoof is not up for the task.
i have membership in Jeddah and when i travelled to Riyadh i was surprised that the branch there is closed, now im stuck in Riyadh with no gym membership and I'm stayin for a month. i called the Ceo that at least they could tell me they are closin, and he replied its not our responsibilty to tell the whole members.
anyway now I'm trying to hold my membership and they say you have to visit the branch and i cant travel back just to stop my memberahip... i mean seriously why they just couldn't do that by the phone!

Gold's Gym battery incident

I've been going to Gold's Gym since May/June and thought i could finally call it "home". Unfortunately, that all changed today. An act of battery was committed towards me today by a white, male between 30-40 years old, about 6ft tall. He was with his 12 year old son. The man acted as if the place was his own and pretty much "set up shop" all over the gym. However, he would not stay in one area at a time. He left a machine open for well over 10 minutes and when I approached the machine to use it (since it was idle), he approached me and felt the need to bully me. He insisted on taking back "his spot", but I kindly asked him to find another spot. He refused, interjected between myself and the machine, he set up "his" equipment again, told me I didn't know anything about "gymnetics", and shoved me out of the way with his shoulder. When I was asked if he really just pushed me, he denied it of course. I was so shaken up and caught off guard. I proceeded to tell the employee at the front desk, then I called the police. A report was made, but no footage was captured because the cameras were not "working". Also, both managers were out of town. I felt alone and unsafe. The police officer was nice, but without evidence there was nothing he could do. With that being said, I felt disappointed in Gold's Gym, their policies and how they handled this situation as a whole. The man was not told to leave. I cancelled my membership because of this incident and hope no one else has to go through it.

Gold's Gym bandera and 1604

I have been a member for over 5 years and had an issue with a stolen credit card. Girl at front desk was so rude and said if I had a problem cancel my membership? And would not work with me at all to resolve? I've been trying to call or contact a person but seems impossible? There membership are all contracts so you get stuck. But with this customer service I'm sure I'm not the only unsatisfied customer.

Gold's Gym did not cancel my membership

In June of 2017, I new I was going to have to go up North for family the following month. I tried three times (at two different gyms) to cancel my membership before I left, but each time I went in, I was told that there was not anyone available who could cancel my membership. I wound up leaving earlier than expected. Upon being in rural Massachusetts, and realizing I would be there longer than expected, I called to cancel my membership, whereupon I was told I could not cancel over the phone. Time went by, I tried calling again and explaining the situation, where I was again told it had to be in person.
JANUARY 2018 Six Months Later
I was back home (NC). I went to try to cancel my membership IN PERSON, several times, again, no one whom was allowed to do that was present, despite the fact that I had called before I came one of those times.
FINALLY, some one was there who SAID he could do it. We sat at a desk for a moment, he scanned my card, then gave me a little card and said since I had already paid for the month, it was a pass for me to continue to use the gym for the remainder of the month.
APRIL 2018
I received a call from a Gold's gym representative informing me that my payment had been declined for 3 months. I about flipped. My wallet had been stolen around the holidays, so of course, I had cancelled the missing cards. I told the guy that for one, I had cancelled my membership, and 2) I had a new debit card. He become somewhat ugly and told me that there could be legal concequences for canceling a card to avoid payments (WHAT?!) He wanted my debit card number, so I told him to use his own and called customer service to report.
September 2018
Last week I received a call from a debt collector that was trying to get me to pay Gold's Gym!
SO, I had to keep paying monthly from June 17 to January 18. And now I've been reported to a debt collector for "missing" Nearly a years worth of payments?!
I have been working SO HARD to get my credit score back up. I can't even believe this. When I tried talking to Gold's Gym about this, I was told that they no longer had this account, and I would need to work it out with the debt company who no has "my account".
*THERE IS NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT I HAVE FOUND TO FILE A COMPLAINT*
This has been a stressful and expensive frigging nightmare.

Gold's Gym account was charged despite cancellation and fake promises made for refunds

I registered myself on the 4th of July for membership in Gold's Gym located at 6324 Ritchie Highway Glen Burnie, MD, 21061. As an offer I was waved for the first month and was not charged for the month of July. However, I had to cancel my membership for the month of August. I called the gym on August 4th through email and phone for canceling my membership but could not reach out to them before August 6th. Since my account was already charged by this time, I accepted my fault and asked for the membership cancellation the same day to the manager Matt Tyler. He assured that my membership was canceled and that although I had to pay for the month of August, my account would not be charged anymore and thereafter!
To the contrary, my account was still charged for a $21.99 for the month of September 2018. I have called multiple time and exchanged emails with the manager when each time I was given a time of 4-5 working days for the money to be refunded into my account! To date - as on September 22nd, 2018, my money hasn't been refunded! I am really frustrated with the fake promises made by the sweet representatives, the manager, and the general manager of the site but I do not know how much of a rocket science or brain surgery does one need to know to issue a simple refund! I will never ever speak well of this organization and convey my message likewise to every possible person I know! Please help!

Gold's Gym memberships

Paid just under 400$ upfront to not be under contract and they some how managed to make one of the memberships on my account under contract. Their error. They refuse to make it right and the billing company they use is just as awful as they are to deal with. The customer service all around is laughable. I can certainly see why there are so many complaints for this location.
