I contacted the above (info@justanswer.com) to find if if there was anything on the market that would unclog a stopped-up kitchen sink other than the standard Drano, Liquid Plumber, etc. because I tried everything I could purchase over-the-counter and nothing worked. I waited and waited for a reply to my question and nothing happened. I finally sent them an e-mail asking them to remove my question from their service and to refund the $9 they charged against my VISA card. Instead, they charged an additional $15 for my asking them to remove my question and refund my money! I couldn't believe it! They do not post a phone number or mailing address where I could contact them. Now I am stuck with no answer and a $24 charge against my VISA card. I must be a fool to trust a company like this on the internet.

This is disgusting what this company is doing.. they make it seem so simple $5 for advice. Lol🤣

I was charged $85 for a 10 minute phone call. She basically told me to go see my local vet. These people should be ashamed of themselves

I was not told that I'd be charged to join a monthly membership. Never given a notice to agree or disagree. Was told there would be a $5 fee to which I agreed to and paid with PayPal.

This is a complete fraud. I’ve been charged 35$ a month for 7 months. I haven’t used this service, and there is no way to cancel. I have contacted a lawyer and will pursue this until I’m refunded. Just a heads up for anyone trying this vet expert fraud, do not do it.

I asked a question for $5.00 on July 4th and came back today (7/27) to make sure I canceled my membership and found out that they charged me another $35.00. I asked one freaking question and it costed me $40.00.I was mislead and had less than 30 days to cancel! This is a scam! They're refusing a refund! unbelievable. Beware!

Asked one question, was not helped. Was basically sent to Facebook Help. And then wanted to be charged extra to call me. This is beyond a scam, it’s fraud, and the some. Instead of helping, I was told they couldn’t do anything, and I’m still supposed to pay a monthly charge for nothing being done, I would never recommend anyone use them.

In May 2023 I signed up for Just Answer and asked a technical question. Although the answer was unsatisfactory, I'll write that off and say that it was a lesson learned. I did not realize that in agreeing to their T&Cs, I had committed to a $40 charge against my credit card every month. Shame on me for not checking my credit card for 5 months.

It clearly states on the website that if you are a member you receive 2 free phone calls per month. If you search the website and the app there are no instructions on how to use this feature.

I have called customer service 4 times trying to obtain the free phone calls.

Each time they state someone will call me and no one ever does.

I used "justanswer" as a one off on 09th nov''23,

I paid a £1 deposit which was to be refunded, which I have not received yet, then a few days later, £35 was taken from my account, to cancel the so called "membership" was not shown fully/properly.

I did not authorise this.

I would like a refund.

I wanted to talk to someone from Telstra and this just answer came up and then charged me 66 dollars'. I want my money back plus to cancel my card, this is so devious that these come up and you think you are talking to the company you wanted to speak too.

Looking for an answer about my fridge. Paid through PayPal what I thought was a $5 refundable charge. PayPal then sends me a notification that I have been billed $45! Nowhere did I read that I would be billed monthly for this service. Never even talked to a tech about my fridge. Scammers - shame on you!

I used the service once on Oct 2 and paid for this service. Twice. And again charged on Nov 3 and again Dec 3. Please reverse these 3 charges. I did not sign up for a monthly charge. I was surprised I was charged even once and this is not the help I was looking for.

I'm in Australia and it takes days for the experts to answer. I continually get cut off because I'm in a different time zone. If they even answer at all. Tried to contact them and it's just a chat bot. No way of contacting them. Scammers

Just like many of the other complaints about this website I have the same problem. They advertised $1 for an answered question, then without openly disclosing to the customer the pull a bait and switch and I was charged $46. I went to their customer service portal to request a refund and they refused.

I’ve got the same beef as everyone else on here. They ask for a $2 refundable payment then deduct the $2 plus another $92. More fool me. I know better. The amount of talk online about these people I’m surprised the authorities haven’t stopped them.

The same as others on here. I was directed to this scam via Vax when needing answers about brijen carpet cleaner. I was required to pay a pound and the next day found that 35 quid had been swiped from my account. And a month later another 35 quid.

However, I rand them last night and the 2 payments have been refunded. Even so a total scam company.

' NZ$2. Cancel anytime' i was charged $90! This is false advertising and a breach of the consumer guarantees act. I wouldn't trust this service
