mannerless manager
I went to Kroger and I saw Manager Jeanette berate and yell at her employees so much that a girl cried. I've also seen Jeanette insult and degrade employees so much that I felt disgusted with myself.
I've seen this happen many times. It seems like every other time I go to Kroger I see Jeanette making people cry or shouting about some small, insignificant details.
I wonder about the hiring process of Kroger, because she's not the only awful person I have seen. It looks like all the managers enjoy taunting and bullying other employees.
kosher food, especially passover
over the last few years your kosher food offerings have diminished. What you do have spaces for on the shelves is often out of stock or expired. This passover the lack of product available is evident and apparent that our business is no longer wanted. I will start supporting Publix and even wal-mart for kosher shopping as I can not rely on kroger to have the food I need when I need it.
frozen fish
I cannot give you a specific date other than that I shop at Kroger on East 10th (Linwood). Periodically, I will purchase your whiting fish, on two ocassions when cooking this fish I've found it to be spoiled. After 2 times, I have decided I will not purchase this item any more. As a senior citizen, I don't have access to be able to run back and forth to your store to return items.
It is so sad when big companies are not more aware of what they offer to consumers. They put out products that they have kept too long and sell them to the public not caring if people will get sick or not.
Yes, Over the past three years, we have purchased the frozen packages of Whiting fish. There seem to be brown spots in places that taste a bitter-terrible if eaten, . It was just 10 days ago, we finished the "LAST" package of Whiting we will buy. It's not worth the money. I feel that we were lucky to not have gotten sick on the fish.

I had been buying thick cut bacon by the two pound package for the last 6 months. Never again
I had been buying peaches and never again.
This broke the straw, I made the last of the thick cut pepper bacon this am and sat to eat with a cheese omelette. After halfway thru I noticed a pubic hair clinging to the bacon. It is dark in color and now has cooked bacon added to it. It is not mine, I live alone and what hair I do have is totally grey and not kinky. I have a picture of it.in my disgust, I began to eat the peaches I purchased and every dam one was dry and gritty. Way too old. They are very expensive this time of year. I have had a few problems with kroger but normally just toss it out. This is too bad to ignore. What makes it worse is the counter guy wears a very dirty, filthy half fitted ballcap every day never washing it or changing it. I sick
kroger brand ground turkey meat
When I opened my turkey meat to cook, I noticed the skin from fish on one side of the meat then I took it out and as I looked closer it definitely was, and there was more at the bottom also. I'm highly upset because my boyfriend is allergic to fish and I was preparing it for my entire family to eat! After entire package was contaminated I was forced to throw away. I'm looking deeper into this because I need answers and I need to know how you'll will be handling this issue with me before I contact my lawyer and this matter becomes worst.

I purchased 2 cans of Similac and later realized it was the wrong kind. The same day(today) I'm trying to go get my money back with the receipt and the cans have not been opened and they refuse to give my money back. I went back to the store twice and showed them it isn't open. He said that he isn't allowed to give me a refund and that I would have to call his manager tomorrow morning and see what he can do. I have 3 kids. My twins drink neosure and I had to purchase the right kind of milk to feed them. That was $33 that I didn't have to waste nor the time. Walmart has done exchanges like this when I had my first child so I don't see the deal with this store.
smoke filled environment
Every time we go to this particular Kroger, (205 East little Creek road, Norfolk, VA.), at both front entrances, employees are smoking and letting it blow into the building and throughout the store. We have called about this repeatedly, they say that they will look into it, but nothing has been done. This has been going on for years. These employees are making Kroger look bad. It's really nasty when you go to check out and your cashier smells like smoke. I've even smelled smoke heavy all the way back in the meat department. Would someone PLEASE look into this.
produce and floral departments
As a loyal organic buyer, I have been aware that several krogers I shop in are merchandising organic produce right next to conventional products. My understanding is that goes against organic standards. If I'm spending more money for organic, why would I buy it when it's being contaminated due to touching other produce that has been sprayed with chemicals? One store in particular I "try" to shop in, has a simply terrible produce department, regardless of what day or time it is. I was in this store, kroger Glenbrook center Hendersonville, Tn. Today a Friday around noon. It couldn't have looked worse than if it was midnight. I ended up leaving that store and traveling to the Goodlesttsville, tn store that does a much better job in produce department. Except again, the wrong organic merchandising standards as I referred to before. But the department was much better than the glenbrook store.
While in the Goodlettsville store I "attempted" to talk to the woman working in the floral department. I picked up a couple of fresh floral items. And saw a potted plant I had a question about. I didn't get barely 2 words out of my mouth when she quickly cut me off and went into a speech about how she could not guarantee the plant as that there are so many various species and again could not guarantee the plant. No where in my approximately 3 words I manage to get out included the word "guarantee ". Obviously she was annoyed that I had interrupted her work. I simply walked away from her and replaced the items I had originally put into my cart back on the display. I can tell you I am not an occasional kroger shopper. I spend a lot of money in your stores, and therefore expect more from the rare times I even bother an employee while shopping. I like to get in and get out quickly. I will go back to the Goodlettsville store to shop the produce since it does do a good job in that department, but I can "guarantee" I will not support the floral department in that store.
Additional i really wish your merchandising standards would change regarding the organics. It's apparent Kroger has made a huge push in that direction to capture that market share. So why would you not make every attempt to do so correctly?
trying to shop while being accosted by beggar in the store aisle
3.8.17 Wednesday evening between 7:15 - 8:00 p.m.
While shopping with my husband, a young man came up to us and stated " I am homeless and I don't want to steal, I like to purchase these items, if you could help me out?"
He continued to shop around and was asking other shoppers for money.
This is not the first time this has happened. Of course, when I look around the store I don't see any management around the store or on the front end to complain to about the situation. There was a customer service representative holding up the desk in at the customer service desk as I was leaving the store.
As leaving the store, a shopper asked my husband and I if we would accompany her to her car since she felt uncomfortable with the man asking her for money ( she didn't give him any money) and kept coming by her making her uncomfortable being by herself.
This is 4th time this has happen to me personally. 3 times in the store and 1 time outside in the parking lot as I was loading my groceries. What makes me mad is there has never been a visible manager to go up and let him/her know what is going on in their store. I should feel safe within the store to shop.
I tried to call the store location this morning to let the store manager know about this situation around 9:30 a.m. The phone just kept ringing after selecting the correct number from the prompt message.

I'm thinkin' the store manager gets one hell of a bonus for low overhead expense. Sale items are always gone before the evenin' hours, if the product is out, these #### fill in with a different product that clearly does not belong there. On valentine's day, the outside tent was completely out of product at 4:00 pm... Yes! 4:00 pm. (Pretty sure the store manager made sure of this... Bonus on the line) i'm just glad we now have a fiesta down the street, product is available on the shelves, always stocked. Like I said, check the store manager's bonus, bet it relates to low overhead.
kroger brand frozen yogurt
I recently bought the caramel praline flavor which I have bought before many times in the past. I have been having issues with digestion so I now only buy frozen yogurt due to the fact that yogurt has cultures in it that are natural probiotics.
The last couple times that I had a small bowl of it, it caused my stomach to have gas pains. This prompted me to look a little closer to the labeling of the "so called" YOGURT in my freezer. I was upset, to say the least, that there was no yogurt in it! To make things worse, it has high fructose corn syrup as a main ingredient. Kroger doesn't claim that it's ALL NATURAL and that's ok BUT it shouldn't say it's YOGURT when that's a blatant lie and that's the point of this complaint!
I wanted to tell my experience so that maybe Kroger can make a change to this product. If they could ADD yogurt cultures to it PLUS take out that unhealthy HIGH FRUTOSE CORN SYRUP. It would make this product so much healthier. They need to look at all their frozen yogurt flavors and make a change so that others won't have problems as I have.

Well the last few weeks I have been to the Deli (like I do 2-3 times a week) I stand there alone with no other customers before or after me, and wait for atleast 3 minutes for any of the 3-4 workers to greet me or take my order. Last time I was there 2 customers came after me and stood there waiting a good 10 minutes while I got a pound lf bologna, and pundits of cheese... There were 2 other workers doing minimal things watching the line form. I just don't get it? It happens so much I started just picking my meats up from the bin where they are pre-made, but every time I do that I get discolored bologna where it looks greenish and grey, and all the meats and cheeses are cut disgustingly thick to where I give them to my dog because it was so gross. So I started going back and waiting in the uneccesary long lines and I just can't win... can something belse done about this? If I was the manager I would be appalled

Friday February 7th 2017 sometime in the evening my husband went to pay a bill at Kroger and then use a roll of dimes to get a little gas. Usually we don't use change but this week is a tight one with unexpected expenses. The girl the booth was extremely rude and told him to take the roll somewhere else and get "real" money because she won't take it. Excuse me I didn't realize what we had wasnt "real" money. As if he wanted to pay with a roll of dimes, she had no right refuse his money and embarrass him in front of other customers. This girl needs an attitude change and a glimpse of the reality in life. Next time I won't leave so calmly considering how rude she was. No longer will be getting gas at Kroger period. Since they refuse service to people with mixed children and tell them their money isn't real enough.

I went to the grocery store today - smith's and after realizing i forgot granola bars in my basket, rather than send a grocery store personnel to go to isle pick up for me, they voided my entire groceries for the week that I'd shopped for and said they had to wait on the next person. they should have called a manager. I transfer from one store to another Iam status 3 full time for 9 years. On the e scheduling I had no hours posted for the week Feb 19 to 25. Now each day I go in to work I will have to get and override to clock in. Makes me feel like not an associate that works there at store but new hire. Like I don't matter if I come in to work or not. Iam not into this game. And feel like Iam not important
car wash
Purchased a wash at the pump and when I went to get in line too many others were doing the same and my lunch was not long enough to wait. Today more than thirty days out (winter weather kept me from it), I found out there is a time limit. Asked attendant if there was anything that could be done? That is for me paying for and not receiving a service...his manager was there and he said nope! Will not buy a wash here ever again so as not to have a repeat of paying for nothing

I am a woman in my early forty. Tonight Sunday, February 12, 2017 around midnight I decided to go to the nearest Kroger in Caroline street in Atlanta, GA to buy some snacks. It was around midnight when I parked my car and I approached the entrance. A guy blocked me at the entrance asking me for money because he has to take some train. I said I did not have any money and I went after my own business. There was not security guard. When I left the store 20 minutes later the same guy was still outside and angry at me because I did not give him my money. There was still not security guard around. This man followed me to my car and I just made it to enter in the car and drive away really fast!
Why do I have to be harassed when I go to Kroger?
And why there was not security guard outside?

I have tried several times to register my Kroger Plus card on my online account. I've called and Dawn a customer service rep told me to wait 24 hrs due to some technical issues. Nothing changed. I've send emails and have received auto responses promising resolution in 1 or 2 business day. Nothing changed. My wife continues to shop at Kroger, but I will not until this gets resolved.

My Fiancee Megan Brock works for the Kroger store out in Bartonville, Tx
Her co-worker Bertha is blantantly being rude and otherwise obnoxtious to the other staff and customers and the managament is doing nothing, so bad that everytime they hire someone Bertha runs them off and lack for a better term forced them to quit cause how stressful it is to work with her. i thought that krogers staff and employees were nice and curtious but now it seems you'll let anyone in dispite the risk of loosing customers and staff. Numerous times Megan has come home she is always telling me about the negatives and i rarely hear anything positive, and its always about ms Bertha acting rudely or starting arguement or coming in late. I know well that if she or I acted like that we would be put into counciling or worse fired. please do something Megan is loosing her hair and I just dont want her in the hospital cause of a Anxiety attack that may indanger her health.

We seem to have a huge problem at store 316 of Kroger. It's completely unacceptable that our supervisor and any other department is never later or never misses a break, or lunch. We were not busy and my lunch was late by almost 2 hours. No big deal except it came time for my last break and I had it at 9:37 I then went home at 10. This is very unprofessional. We as courtesy clerks miss breaks and lunch yet they don't care. Also when I approached a manager she said I yelled and was being disrespectful which I wasn't. She's not much of a manager it must be nice for her to stand around and get paid to do nothing. She stands in the back on her phone which does not set a good example for her employees. After this she talked to me like I was not a person saying never talk like that in the store ever again yet I did nothing wrong.
