2. Registered post transacted at PO Lotus Pulau Pinang on 15/7/2023, Tracking number: RR19 851 502 8MY. Again, the recipient did not receive the letter. Reported the matter to POS Malaysia, Report No: 2260071.
On 12/09/2023, Fatimaa Zaharaa Sayuti from the Customer Service – Feedback Management Unit emailed me informing me that my item was lost and could not be found according to the Postal Partner (United Kingdom Post) feedback
I was told that based on your Terms and Conditions for Register International (document), the sender or consignee is not entitled to any compensation due to the content of the item of this package being Original and/or Official documents.
I find this is an absurd and unfair practice at the expense of the customers/senders who cannot even get any redress and compensation from POS Malaysia for the loss of registered mails. In the first place, I was not even told or made aware of the terms and conditions regarding the loss of posts during the transactions. It appears that POS Malaysia is shunning its responsibility by closing the complaints and that's it.
Having said that, I do want to claim for the refund of the payment of 2 of my lost mails.
I would earnestly urge you to kindly look into my unresolved complaints and the issues raised and I truly wish that the said matter will conclude with a fair and equitable resolution soon.
Regards
Christin Woon
Desired outcome: Refund of the payment of 2 of my registered mails - RM18.20 and Rm18.80
