We have this product in the house a lot. We were buying enough to serve with spreadable snacks we were going to serve at our Christmas parties. It was sad to notice that you have reduced the stacks by between 1 and i/2 to inches in height. Less product and a bit of a higher price. With that idea aside, December 26th I opened the new package of Ritz Cracker 18 stacks. After about 4 crackers I felt something different. Looked inside the stack a saw something dark on the cracker. I assumed it was a toastier part of the cracker. NO! when pulling it out I noticed that the brown piece on the cracker was SOFT. I looked at it close up and wiped the dark spot. It was peanut butter. Closer examination of all of the rest of the stacks revealed 12 out of the 18 had peanut butter smeared on each stack running about 1/4 inches wide by I to 3 inches long What to heck is going on here. NO, it wasn't a pleasant "surprise" for us, it was a bit of horror as to what your quality control staff are doing here! The number on the box is 10 May 2024 MS2045 19-15. I don't like the peanut butter on these crackers haphazardly smeared all over them. Better wake up your quality control staff. If this can happen, what else can be sent out your doors for customers to ingest? Disgusted in Mississippi.
Claimed loss: NO loss except for what we paid for this absurd and disgusting mistake. You want to eat them? You want the smeared peanut butter? OK. I prefer to enjoy what I think I am buying, NOT some company's mistakes.
Desired outcome: Better send a REAL box of crackers, without the peanut butter, please. Don't make us worry about what could possibly be wrong with your products .
