survey and customer service
Just complete survey for Visit at Gettysburg Ruby Tuesday on January 18, 2018 after writing in detain complaints and submitting it became "out of service, try back, sorry for inconvenience Now how convenient was that ! I didn't want anything free they might offer, just want to be heard. Incident check out at 4:54PM Jan 18, 18. Four adults and 4 children present. Our waiter was shown phone ad with unlimited salad and soup for $9.99. Asked if that location was participating. He said yes and 3 of us ordered it. A male manager, with poor personal skills, came and informed us they were NOT participating. We were disappointed but understood. A second waiter brought 3 soups. Explained to him we were NOT to get them and why. Suggested he take them back and talk to manager. He insisted he was told to give them to us and that "one serving of soup" was included with salad bar. We reluctantly took the soup but informed him we were not paying for it, we were only to get salad bar. So bill comes and we are charged $12.99 NOT normal $9.99. Brought this to waiter attention. He took to manager. This time a female manager, who did have better customer skills, came. Again we explained it all again. She stated she could not adjust the price BUT could take a child's meal off (how can you adjust one and not the other?). Anyway, I made her aware I did not have a child's meal on mine. She then stated well maybe she could adjust mine. She was gone for quite some time then returned with all salads adjusted. Was it the money in question here: not as much as lack of customer friendly and lack of knowledge/communication. Such a lengthy deal and did I mention children were 5 and under?! Even worse is this is not the first time for poor customer service. No more Ruby Tuesdays for us, too many other fine restaurants who truly respect their customers
bad experience
Hello, my family took me out Saturday, January 13 for my birthday. We went to Outback in Glen Burnie, but it was a 1 1/2 hour wait time for a table. We decided to leave and go to Ruby Tuesdays at Marley Station Mall, a mile up the road from Outback. There were 9 of us in our party, including an infant and a toddler. We were seated right away, which was great. The server was kind, but in the middle of taking my oldest daughter's order, she walked away to greet her next table. My Mom and my husband both ordered Margaritas, and they were horrible! We've never had a Margarita that tasted so sour, it isn't normal for it to NOT be sweet at all. They ordered the Ruby Relaxer and that was good. We always go to the location on Nursery Rd in Linthicum. I can't believe the difference in the service and the food, but it's a big one. I wanted steak and that's why we chose Outback to begin with. I got the 8 oz Asiago Peppercorn Sirloin, cooked Medium. It was loaded with Asiago instead of just a little bit as the picture shows on the menu. It was small, didn't seem like 8 oz. I also got the White Cheddar MAC and Cheese, which was delicious. My other daughter got the same thing as I did and her steak was mushy and seemed more like Salisbury Steak. My husband got the baby back ribs, we always go to RT for ribs as they're the best. He was very happy with his food. I just wanted to let you know because it should be great service and food, no matter the location. We were at the mall and maybe RT doesn't care as much, compared to the one by the airport. Well, at least the ribs were as good as always. I should've gotten the burger, as I was going to but got steak instead. Thanks for your time.
server was out of line intoxicated
I went to the ruby tuesdays in johnston rhode island yesterday around 6pm with my wife and daugther the food was good and the server that was taking care of us was very sweet and professional. But as we were waiting for put food and eating the bartended on duty i believe he said his name was Joesphe came to the table he was extremely rude kept calling he "dog" and "bro" and every time he opened his mouth all me and my wife could smell was alcohol. Hebwas acting very unprofessional and for that reason i dont feel comfortable brining my family there to eat anymore
the whole service
I was extremely disappointed in the service at this location this evening. First I want to say that I've been to the Bloomfield location on many occasions and have never received such terrible service! It took our waiter 15 minutes to get our drink order, we waited another 15 minutes to get our drinks. 20 minutes for him to come back to take our order. We ordered an appetizer which came out 30 minutes later and our dinner took another 25minutes after that. The table next to us was seated 15 minutes after we got there and they made a complaint and got their food right away. At the same time they made their complaint my husband asked where ours was and the manager brushed it off quickly saying they are behind but it would be out shortly. Another 10 minutes and we finally got our food. There were very few customers in the restaurant so I'm not sure what the issue was but we are very disappointed.
customer service
About 45 minutes ago I was the times square ruby tuesday store. I had a gift card that they wouldn't honor or attempt to verify. They snatched the food out of my hands. When I googled the gift card balance and called it, I had confirmed the gift card balance was correct. For some reason an undercover cop was already there escorting me out like I was a public nuissance. I was highly embarrassed and should be accommodated for my troubles for their classist behavior and lack of product and point of sale transaction knowledge. And in times square of all places.
portions complaint
The Ruby Tuesday in Bloomfied Ct has been down sizing it's portions substantially. You pay full price for portions my 5 year old deems small. We were brought a chocolate milk in a half filled cup. Absolutely ridiculous. When asked about the portion our waitress said they've been cutting down portions. Never coming back here again. Been coming here for 13 years.

restaurant to cold
Are dinner tonight (1/1/18) at the Clifton Park, MY Restaurant, it was freezing inside. I even wore a heavy sweatshirt under my coat, and it was uncomfortable. Most guests had their costs over their backs. Should have been my 1st clue. Waitress were wearing sweat jackets, clue #2. Dinner was ok, but there were no baked potatoes at 615pm. Why? I know it wad only 5 degress outside, but it was way to cold inside. they did close the wooden blinds on the windows, but we were in the middle of the resaurant. We were told Corperate controls the temperature. Really this is upstate New York. Even in the summer the air conditioning is to cold Most of the time. I doubt that I will be back to the Clifton Park location again, and maybe no Ruby Tuesaday... Very Disappointed. ..
takeout order and overcharge.
This is the forth time I have gone to the Ruby Tuesday store #5275 in Mentor, Ohio to get takeout and they have messed up the order and over charged me. The first time we called in the order and went there at the designated time the individual told us to pick it up and the order was not even placed. After I placed it and went home to eat it, it was the wrong burger. The next three times including tonight January 1, 2018 went to bar to place order for the smokehouse burgers, got the order, went home to eat dinner with the family and no smokehouse burgers. All of them were regular cheeseburgers. After going online tonight to look at the menu including prices, they have been ripping me off! They have charging me for the smokehouse burgers that I have ordering and giving me cheeseburgers. Cheeseburgers are cheaper. That is four times they have been over charging me! I am done with this establishment unless something is done about this!
experience at ruby tuesday
On December 8, 2017 my family and I went to ruby tuesdays. We have been going there for more than 5 years twice a month. We have never had a problem until now. We were there for almost 3 hours. That's how long it took for our food to come out. The server (Meghan) forgot about our drinks twice. She was nice once we sat down but after she gave us our drinks, she started acting like she was frustrated. When I came to our deserts I asked to get 2 scoops of ice cream on the side but she never brought it to us. My husband had asked for another beer and she forgot about it. We didn't bother to ask for it again because it was taking so long it was getting late for our kids. On top of all of that my husband and I didn't let it bother us because we were servers for 5 years and we know how it is. We were nice enough to leave her a $16 tip. Even though she didn't deserve it. Our bull came out to about $97. The next day I notice i was charged $11 more then what was on my bill to my credit card. I called and spoke to a manager I think his name was mark. He told me he would look into it and call me back. I waited until the next day and I didn't get a call back. So I went into the restaurant to talk to him about the problem, but I end up speaking to another manager. I explained what happen. She went to the back to look into it. When she came back she should me my slip saying there was an error n the money will be put back. I asked her what was the error and she said she wasn't sure but it will take a couple of days for it to go back to my account. She didn't want me to know that my server had given her self an $11 tip after we had giving her cash. The manger said she mixed up the checks with another table. But when I asked her to show me the receipt we signed it clearly was crossed out on tip and we wrote the total charge on the line. The manager did apologized about the problem. But I wanted to let corporate know about it just Incase nothing is done about it. My family and I love going for dinner there but know we do t want to go cuz we feel like it's going to happen again. $11 might not be a big deal to be complaining about. But who knows how many times this has happen already. Sometimes servers think they can get away with it and I didn't think this server would do that. It wasn't right for her to do that and yes people make mistakes but there wasn't that many people in there for her to make a mistake like this. I just hope it doesn't happen again to someone else.
This isn't the Ruby Tuesday corporate website.
restaurant
We went to the restaurant to celebrate Christmas. Four co-workers and for individual's from the group home we all work at. Three young staff members couldn't hide the discuss on their faces as we walked into the restaurant. They refused to give us seating saying they are not allowed to seat 8 people. Mind you we just walked past a double table of at least 8. I asked how long did they think it would be before they could accommodate us, I was told maybe half an hour or an hour. We went walking around the mall and came back an hour later, we were refused seating again, this time they said they wouldn't be able to seat us at all.
Again the looks on their faces while looking at our four elderly individuals was heartbreaking, shame on Ruby Tuesday's ! Red Lobster was more than happy to have our business!
unprofessional everyone uses drugs there
Severs bartenders host cooks dishwashers and management all do drugs the food is horrible they have mice they are ghetto music blasting shake your booty everyone should be drug tested and fired I'm going to file a law suit next time I experience service this bad...everyone does what they want walks into work smelling like weed go on your breaks to get high took forever to get my food then it was not did rite
steak (ribeye)
My best friend and I went to Ruby Tuesday in Rochester, NY on Saturday, 12/2 to celebrate my birthday. As I always do, I ordered the ribeye steak. When it was brought to the table, I commented that it wasn't a ribeye. She took it back and the manager came out awhile later with the same meal that I sent back. I explained that it wasn't the right steak and I was told that it was. A ribeye is tender and this was NOT, plus it was cut into prior to delivering it to me! Plus the food was Luke warm by this time!
Then the waitress over charges us $4. She apologized and redid the bill. When she brought the correct bill back we checked it over to make sure it was correct. We left the restaurant and came back to my house. My friend left and went to the drugstore to pick something up and discovered that the waitress failed to return her debit card. When she went back she was told that people forget their cards all the time. My friend explained that she didn't forget it, that the waitress never gave it back to her. The art employee again stated that "people forget their cards all the time"!
We will not be returning to RT again.
service
On 18 nov 17, I along with 7 others chose your restaurant on capital blvd in raleigh north carolina, to celebrate my nieces birthday. I along with the birthday girl arrived at your ruby tuesday at approximately 8pm... The dinner celebration started out very nicely considering we (6 atthe time... The other 2 would be arriving within 30 minutes which we involved our host and and our waiter... Whom we would latet discover by way of the night manager was very new to the wait staff) but from that point on, our service was straight out of a television - what would you do show.
Let me clue you in on just a few of the things that went completely wrong
1. The young waiter that took our order was clearly under trained as shown by his lack of attention to details and his ability to get our orders right. He had trouble remembering who ordered what...
2. About five months ago I stopped eating both beef and pork, and even though I do eat chicken I was dying to try your salmon dish which had been recommended by the birthday girl. Since it was going to be the first my first time trying salmon, I also ordered a second entree... Your chicken and pasta... My salmon entree arrived first and after taking just one bite of it, I found that fish texture to be very wet and I asked my niece who had had it before if it was supposed to be that wet... She took her fork to sample it and told be, no the salmon was under cooked. She then informed the waiter and he took my plate away but not before asking me if I just wanted him to ask the cook to put it back on the grill to cook longer. Before I could even answer him my niece told him to please bring my aunt a new piece of fully cooked salmon.
3. The following other things were wrong with our order... One guest was missing her garlic mashed potatoes, another was missing her shrimp
4. The night manager arrived at our table around the same time that my chicken entree arrived and she apologized for the under cooked salmon. She informed me that she would take care of my salmon dish) and when it came out the second time the manager also brought out 3 complementary desserts 1 cheesecake for the birthday girl and 2 bowls of ice cream for the rest of our now party of 8 minus the birthday girl to share
I told the manager that I didn't really like cheesecake and asked to order the apple crisp and she informed me that they were out, so I asked to order a different cake with ice-cream and chocolate sauce which she quickly said that the restaurant was also out of my second choice, but that she would give me a slice of the strawberry cheesecake
5. My salmon with bourbon sauce had finally arrived and I will be the first to say that it was delicious that is at least what I was allowed to eat was great and I was really enjoying my dinner right up til the time that the young unexperienced waiter arrived with what I thought at the time was a complimentary piece of cheesecake that I didn't really want, and as I was placing a fork filled with your delicious garlic potatoes into my mouth, the waiter took my entree plate away which I was clearly not done with and placed the cheesecake in its place... The answer is no! he never even asked me if I was done... The entire party started to lol... The manager came back to our table and I informed her what the waiter had done and again she apologized.
6. I was drinking sweet tea and my niece who was sitting to my left was drinking unsweetened iced tea, we both asked for refills, the waiter was quick to place a new glass of sweet tea in front of me, fine... No not fine because he then picked up the glass that I had been drinking from and refilled it with unsweetened tea and placed it back on the table
7. The other guest also ran out of drink and it was as if the waiter never even saw thier empty glasses
8. Now for the 2 guest that arrived later in our evening... The waiter never even asked them if they wanted to place an order for anything
9. Check time... Even though our waiter had not done the best job I could see that he had truly tried, so not only did I pick up the chicken for me and my the birthday girl, I still gave the young man a $5 tip...
Two of the guest left right after paying for their meals... But the remaining of our party stayed and chatted for another 15-20 mins (we did ask if anyone was waiting to be seated and was told that no one was waiting so it was okay for us to chat awhile)
10. As we are preparing to leave and after everyone had paid for their meal, the manager came back out to our table and informed me that, that piece of cheesecake that I ate needed to be paid for. We were all in shock because we all heard her say that she would bring me out a slice of cheesecake cake... My first words were to inform her of her own words, and I told her that after such poor service that I wasn't paying for nothing else that she could take the money out of the tip that the waiter got. She informed me that legally she couldn't make him pay for anything but that she could "legally make me pay for it." I lol at her and if it was for the birthday girl offering to pay for it, I would not have done so myself
according to your night manager, "out of the 2 cheesecakes that were delivered to the table, only 1 of them were supposed to be free."
after paying for that cheesecake I quickly brought it to her attention that our table actually had 3 plates of cheesecake delivered and I pointed out to all 3 cheesecake plates that were on the table and it should have been obvious at that time considering where the plates were located that the cheesecake that was actually left off of one of our bills belonged to one of the two guest that had already left.
Again I want to say the service that our party received was horrible
veterans day free appetizer
Celebrating Veterans Day. My husband and I showed our ID cards and ordered our appetizers under $10 as advertised only to find out at the end of our meal that only one appetizer was free according to our server and his manager. We had to pay for the 2nd appetizer. Both should have been free. This is how veterans are treated at Ruby Tuesday and they waited to tell us after we were done with our meal.
customer service
My wife placed an order by phone to Ruby Tuesday in Sanford NC at 330pm on November 8, 2017. I drove to location to pick up order. There was several waitresses at end of bar I told them my name. They told me there was no order in that name. I asked if they could look it up by my wife cell number. To note they never offered to take my order instead they check caller id on restaurant phone trying to prove I had called wrong location. I have lived in Sanford area for 38years my entire life I know the difference in Spring Lake and Sanford. My wife calls in order again this is around 4pm I watched television at bar until 420pm I went to find the manager he went to kitchen to see about order never offered to take my order but when I get mad he offers meal free. I think Ruby Tuesday should raise price of food to offer better training from top to bottom. I eat out a lot but I will never eat here again. Instead of making customer happy they All were worried who was wrong when simply someone didn't write order down twice there is no excuse for this type of service. The manager on duty was Jason. Please remove all my addresses from receiving any coupons I will never eat here again. I have never been so embarrassed by something like this in my life. Customers keep businesses open and revenue flowing.
They may have wanted to know who made the mistake so that they could train that person. Either way, you received your food for free. The management reimbursed you for the inconvenience.
cooks. length of time to eat
I had no issues with the server at all. However the food took forever to get to me and my family and when it did arrive my sons hamburgers were still pink. On top of that one of the cooks smelled like he had been smoking weed. The steak o ordered tasted like fish. And my wife's burger was also pink. This is in council bluffs Iowa. I have been there a few times. I paid and left a tip however I'm very dissatisfied
Did you tell the waiter or ask for a manager while you were there?
dinner/kitchen/bar/service
My wife, our 3 granddaughters and I went to Ruby Tuesdays in Clifton Park, NY. By far the worst experience as a whole. My dish was fine, my oldest and middle granddaughters were also fine except it took 45 minutes to get it but my youngest ordered buttered pasta w/ cheese and a side of mashed potatoes, never got potatoes or cheese. 45 minutes later after my grandkids were done eating we "got" our meal. My wifes seafood trio was cold and over cooked. My wife ordered a 2nd drink while waiting, never came. I wanted a 2nd cup of coffee, no luck. No butter or sour cream for me baked potato. Absolutely worst experience ever and it was our 10 year olds birthday. Sad, never again.
manager/employee misconduct
A manager whom I believe to be named Wanda at the Ruby Tuesday in Athens Ohio, was witnessed belittling staff in front of other members of staff and customers. Calling a Hostess such names as "Stupid" and "Idiot". I have witnessed this on multiple occasions. I have been there several times for lunch and dinner so I am familiar with some of the staff. This woman has no regard for customer relations or employee moral. This woman needs to be removed from her position as this was the final time I will be witness to this down right abuse of power. I will be contacting the Attorney General and The Better Business Bureau as well as the local news in regards to this management staff behaviour.

workers, salad bar, customer service
Customers had to keep asking for salad plates, salad makings was very low, customers had to ask for more.
Customer asked bar tender about happy hour specials, he was rude in answering her and offered no help, just kept saying only good at the bar.
Several employees was sitting around, some on phones, not helping customers.
This is to me poor management!
This was garners ferry location, Columbia sc.
