to go service
I was calling to place a to go order and was left on hold for over 8 minutes. I proceed to hang up and call back letting the person know I was just trying to order 2 burgers. She said let me go find someone to take your order. A few minutes later a woman came on the line and was obviously upset. Her tone and vocabulary was beyond rude. Just to be clear when this establishment first opened my husband and I dined here at least once a week. We have not eaten at this restaurant now in over a year. Your employees have no phone manners nor manners in general. We have had raw food served to us, waited an hour for a cocktail, and to the other extreme had completely burnt food served to us. We speak to the manager everytime and also paid for our entire order everytime. One because the manager never offered anything to compensate. Two because we were told that we had to pay or it came out the servers check. We would have absolutely not eaten here if it were not for the fact my husband was given a gift card and we found out he was given it because another person didn't want to eat here either and passed it off. If I were the owner I'd fire every person in this facility and start off with new trained staff that was respectful, intelligent, actually wanted to work, and new what the heck customer service and hospitality was! I'd clean this place up and actually turn revenue like when it first opened. Check # 3712. Table # 169. July 9th at 7 pm.
service
Last night we went to Ruby Tuesdays in Pueblo, Co. we just moved here and have always loved the restaurant. However, after visiting this location our minds have changed. We were seated and our server was a complete space cadet! He brought our drinks and we told him we needed more time to look at the menu. We literally had been sitting for less then 3 minutes. Then while we were looking at the menu he basically hovered over us waiting for our order like he was in a rush to get out of work. Then when he took our order he pulled a chair up from the table behind him and propped himself on the back of the chair personally as a former server I see that as very unprofessional. We ordered an appetizer and our meals all at the same time. Next thing we know our meals are there and no appetizer. He didn't even realize that our appetizer never came out which is hard to not notice considering there was a total of 5 tables in the restaurant on a Friday night and we were the only ones in his section. When I mentioned that we never got our appetizer he assured us that it wouldn't be on our bill. Thank god because we never got it. The manager wasn't made aware he never came to apologize. Then my husband whose burger bun was soaked had to pretty much swallow his whole burger because if he put it down it wasn't gonna make it back into his hands. That being said I was barely 4 bites into my chicken and he was done and our server decided to put our check on the table. Maybe I wanted dessert? Maybe we wanted an after dinner cocktail? Then as we were leaving another couple was in front of us walking out and instead of the 2 servers who were sitting at the bench by the door getting up to open the door the elderly couple in front of us held it as they watched and told us to have a great night. Maybe not all the servers are that unprofessional but it may be an indication why on a Friday night during prime dinner hours the restaurant was empty.
service
I was at the Marianna, FL location on 7-3-17. Party of 6...in which we were told there would be about a 20-25min wait. After about 10-15min another party came in after us and the staff was quick to take them to their seats with the same number of people in their party. The guest even told the staff we were there first. So someone in my party asked to speak to a manager and all of a sudden there was a table available. (It was free the whole time).
My son ordered a dish (same dish he ordered the night before and instead of them telling us they couldn't give us what he ordered they took it upon themselves to order something else. Not even asking us if it was okay. They just brought it out with the rest of our food. I am also going to Ruby's but this has to be the worst service I have ever received! They didn't offer any solutions. Only "I'm sorry"
Not pleased at all!
Lol. Oh GOD BLESS YOU! Have a BLESSED REST OF YOUR LIFE!
Yes..so that would explain why the other guests who came after us even expressed to the server that we were there first ...righttttt! 👍🏼 Good thinking!
service
My family and I had went to Ruby Tuesdays on July Fourth. They were not busy what so every. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated we were not asked if we needed a high chair or booster seat being I have a small child who is one years old. Once we were seated no one came over to us to say anything. No one asked us what we wanted to drink or order. No one acknowledged that we were even there. It's not like we were quite or anything being we have a three year old and a one year old. About 25 minutes went by and still no one came to us. Servers were walking around us and then the host sat a couple down with a little boy and they had a server to them in no time but we still didn't have a single person come to us to say anything. Therefore we walked out of the restaurant. We like Ruby Tuesdays food that is why we wanted to eat there but with this service we got we will not go back to this place what so ever. If Ruby Tuesday's allows this treatment we will not go to any of the restaurants. This one is located on Wendover avenue in Greensboro NC.
an employee
I am friends with one of your employees, Kenneth Daniel, of the ruby Tuesdays in manassas, va., and i happened to come across a particularly disgusting comment made by him. Under a video of which I assume to be a racial conflict ; He comments "typical blacks", being that I am an African American, I am very offended and horrified that you have an employee that speaks this way about the very people he serves in your establishments. It's pretty disgusting to see, and to think that he may even talk about his actual guests this way. If this is the type of person you hire to work there, I surely would not reccomend this place to anyone.
service and food
My girlfriend took me there for father's day and besides TERRIBLE service my steak was burnt and I couldn't find the waitress to complain. We had a horrible time. We rarely go there and now I know why! This was quite a downfall to my father's day! I have eaten here before and had good food and service. I'm not sure what happened this time. I'm very unhappy with my experience this time!
misleading ad
So I received an email, Fathers Day Gift Inside, that for every $50 gift card get a $15 Bonus Card and Offer available until July 25th. So when I tried to do online it said a gift card would have to be mailed so I went to the store and bought a card and got a bonus card so I could actually use it for fathers day. So they knew I wanted it to use for father's day and gave me the bonus card. When I got home I realized that it was good from the 19th, the day after father's day. Fortunately the manager said to bring it back over and they returned my $50 and I gave them back the gift card and bonus card.
What kind of father's day gift is this if it isn't good until the next day.
Your misleading email probably will result in you losing out on a sale of a family of 4 since there are other restaurants that actually will give us a discount on father's day as a father's day gift!

service
I walked into the ruby tuesdays that is connected to Liberty place. The hostess told us we were able to sit at the middle island it's still apart of the bar. Another server told us we had to get up from this bar sitting if we wanted a server to come over and serve us because they were busy. It was only 8 people sitting at the actual physical bar. The manager stood there during this confusion and did NOTHING! She continued to hold a meaningless conversation with a bar patron that she personally knows. So instead of tying to accommodate us. We had to get up order our own drinks and fill our own food orders.
service
More acknowledgement than complaint. In the place last night at the bar, bartender went missing, we were looking around for someone to help us, all the staff out front ignored us, saw some big black guy looking and asking ppl to find someone to help us no one did, he came out from the kitchen, talked us out of leaving, offered my wife and I free drinks for the delay but we do not drink, assisted a server and another couple, little rusty on making a drink but the fact that he came out from the kitchen to help changed my opinion on the place. Just want to say thanks to that guy if nobody else did. And we will return.
cleanliness/wait times
Normally I go to the Clinton Crossing location from time to time but since my last visit I will not return. These are the reasons why: (1) Lamps above tables area dirty which might contaminate my food; (2) the blinds next to the tables are filthy; (3) Normally the service is good but on this last occasion I waited and waited for someone to come to the front to seat me to no avail, so i left. This was last week. (4) Your website indicates ways to contact you that does not work from your website. If this is any indication, I am not surprised at the situation at this location.
lack of professionalism from general manager
General manager is having untrained and uncertified employees train new coming employees without clocking in employees under training to be paid for training the new employees. When asked to not be on the training schedule they do not respect the wishes of the employees in spite of us not being trained or paid to train these employees. The General Manager Sarah Ocegueda is very immature and unprofessional and doesn't should compassion or respect for her employees. She doesn't treat her employees like human beings. The turnover percentage is high at our store in Hampton Virginia because the managers don't know how to treat their employees and people are getting fed up with there being no change and no hope for better management. They schedule people out of their availability all the time without communicating to the employees. There's a lot of unnecessary and inappropriate behavior from the GM and she is very lazy, she never wants to get her hands dirty and makes everyone else do her dirty work. She needs to take more responsibility.
Guess who's about to get fired and won't be able to sue to wrongful termination because of online posts?
You.
That's who.
Excuse me. No one asked for your opinion.
terrible food quality
I stopped in here to grab dinner while visiting Niagara falls, Canada, with my mom. This was one of the worst meals either of us have ever had! My mom ordered the sliders and sent them back because the meat was so dried out and rubbery, it was inedible. We both ended up with chicken sandwiches, which were not much better. Our server, Emily, was the only good thing about our experience there. The washrooms only had one clean and functioning toilet, the staff were all standing around near the front door chatting, and the manager did not even check in about our food after my mom had to send her meal back because it was so terrible.
store cleanliness
Sunday, May 20th
Arrowood Rd in Charlotte, NC
Once we saw the sign for Ruby Tuesday's, the entire car agreed that is where we wanted to eat lunch. We hadn't been for a couple of years (since there is not one where we live). You really need to check out this restaurant. It is not like the others we have been to.
-there was a smell in the entrance - we thought it was other guest, but when we left...the smell (like a cat) was still there.
-the employee was getting dressed in the bathroom and she remarked that it was hard to get up early to work (it was noon)
-the salad bar reminded me of a busy Golden Corral where everyone grazes, but the store was not very busy.
-the broccoli salad was BROWN (this used to be one of my favorites on the RT salad bar.
-the artichokes, celery and olive were in water that was not clear. I've worked salad bars and I know that means that they have not been rotated. I took the artichoke anyway (and regretted it) it was warm. The celery was brown on the ends.
-the ranch dressing was not chilled well
-the presentation was terrible...food was mixed and laying all over. If the store was packed and several people were eating salads, I wouldn't complain about this. I was there at noon and the store was not half full.
-my 6 year old had to use the restroom. yuck! It was dirty and not in a 'we've been busy' way. the back of the toilet looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile. The baseboards looked they had their own story. I am not a germaphobe, but I didn't let my daughter flush that toilet herself, because everything was so dirty in there.
I have tried to be as polite as possible. I left a tip because the waiter was pleasant. This restaurant is so substandard to the other Ruby Tuesdays that I have visited in the past. I was really disappointed and a little bit sick to my stomach.
customer treatment & communication..
My wife Shirley & I eat @ Ruby Tuesday Monthly both here in R.I. store #3952 E. Greenwich R.I. & Florida.. We especially enjoy the lemon crusted Talapia fish dinner.. Each time we have this meal we tell the Manager that there is no other restaurant that compares with the Quality & taste.. We also use the coupons offered us both thru "E" mail & coupon sections of our daily papers.. This was a First my wife & I encountered at any Ruby Tuesday restaurants we 've enjoyed eating at.. Last night we went to eat at the E. Greenwich Restaurant & we happen to see Friends of ours who just returned from Florida & where paying for our dinners on each of our own credit cards.. In fact the Lind couple from Florida even stated that while at their Condo in Florida they went out to eat at the Ruby Tuesday in their area & were surprised to find that it had been closed.. We told this to the manager & wanted to sit at adjoining tables & were told that the coupons we had would not be recognized if we sat together.. We expressed that we were friends with different names & Not Family & we were going to use separate Credit Cards to pay for our dinners .. The Manager was very adamant that he would not allow us to use coupons.. We found this very degrading & not very supportive for Customer Service.. We ended up taking up to separate tables which he said would enable us to use coupons.. Kind of ridiculous that we used to tables for 4 people which used up a table that could of been used for other customers who were waiting to be seated.. All four of us adults understand one coupon per family @ a table but your policy needs to be changed to allow 2 different families charging their dinners on separate credit cards to sit at the same table.. Both the Lind couple & the Sabatelli couple who were frequent customers WILL NO LONGER GO OUT TO DINNER @ YOUR RUBY TUESDAY RESTAURANTS.. When to couples meet at your restaurant they should be greeted with a little more RESPECT as Adults! All of us are over 70 years old.. It wasn't even the issue of the $5 coupon which in turn goes back to the restaurant in the form of a Tip to the waiters.. Sorry to Say that although we advocated eating @ your restaurant to others because we enjoyed your Menu . we will No Longer support eating @ Ruby Tuesday unless this ridiculous policy is amended to allow 2 separate couples to enjoy food & company together @ one table utilizing YOUR coupons put out by your Company...Policy covering this situation should be reviewed.. It was embarrassing to converse with our friends from the table next to each other.. William & Shirley Sabatelli [protected]@aol.com Hope to hear back from Mgm't representative on this issue which could be made clearer by stipulating that 2 separate couple using different Credit Cards should honor your Coupons.. Again, the food & service was always excellent in the past!
food
went to the location in Elizabeth city, nc and was totally disappointed. I tried the cheesesteak pot stickers because I had heard pot stickers were really good. So not the case with these. Why, because there was hardly any cheesesteak in them. Couldn't tell what was in them but it definitely was not cheesesteak. Pulled one of them apart, and couldn't find the cheesesteak. Disappointed and price too high! Won't order them again for sure.
Disappointed!
salad bar
Salad bar changed and not for the better. Onions, beets, cucumbers, etc., all diced now. Why? Was my fav salad bar, now never again. Dark croutons still there but that's not enough to keep me going there. No cottage cheese either. Salad should not be a big diced mess! People like slices of cucumbers, slices of beets, onions cut in rings, not diced. The texture matters in salads, a diced pile of mess does not taste good! Friends and relatives all agree, Ruby Tuesdays took nosedive on the salad bar.
food poisoning
We came in for Mothers Day dinner. I wish now I would have just stayed home and cooked. Service was just ok. Had to keep asking for refills on drinks. Biscuits were not ready, server kept making excuses. Baked potatoe came out with no butter, by the time the server brought it to me potato wS cold and butter didn't melt. So we made it through dinner. Then at 11:00 pm I was so sick. This continued throughout the night. Ive just returned from ER where I was told I had food poisioning. I've have never been sooo sick. I called the manager Todd at Waynesboro VA location who said they just got new produce on Friday but he would check it out and he was sorry. That was it. They need to get it together. Food poisioning is no joke! Sad customer service. Poor food!
service complaint
I work 3rd shift and usually get a salad to go and arrive at 930 pm. Last night I did the same and when I walked in I noticed customers at the bar and at tables. The hostess imediately informed they were closed early because of Mother's day? How can the place be closed with people still in the establishment and the doors unlocked? I observed that the salad bar was still intact and they were getting ready to break it down. I asked politley if I can grab a salad to go. It would have taken no more than 5 minutes to grab my favorite item and depart. They wouldn't even accommodate that. I travel 45 minutes to work with no restaurants in my path, but I can guarantee I won't be left without a meal for my third shift job again. I use to frequent your establishment at least 4 times a week. Never had a problem, can't understand why you had people at the register, people working in the place, and your employees couldn't let me grab a salad to go? Great customer service, it showed me how much you value customers. I definitely won't be back after being treated like this.
poor service and upkeep
I'm sorry to bother but I couldn't let this incident go. The night of May 12 a friend and I went to go have dinner at a local location and were seated right away, it took 5 minutes for our server to come to our table, now we both work in the industry and understand sometimes your short staffed or still training but the server mentioned she had been there two years so that took those thoughts out of our heads, for her to take 10 minutes to grab our drinks and not be too busy is a little aggravating. When we finally got our food we knew it had been sitting in the window and for me to spend $13 dollars on a dish that came with maybe two pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of broccoli is not worth it. What really got me is when we were seated there were two table across from us that had left and through our whole dinner no one came around to clean off the dishes or sweep the food off the floor, as a person who works in the industry to see staff just stand around and not help one another and to have customers walk in and able to see the mess that puts thoughts in their heads as it did mine. After spending $40.00 on an unpleasant evening I just wanted the company to be aware that its not worth the money to get this kind of experience
illegal business practices on behalf of deborah wisniewski
Hello my name is Logan Davidson a former employee of Ruby Tuesday who chose to quit due to poor treatment by my manager Deborah. There have been numerous incidences in which us employees had already clocked out but were still forced to work off of the clock. In my own personal experience around a week ago I had told Deborah that I had finished up and clocked out. However, Deborah came to check everything and found an area I had missed (my mistake). From this point Deborah was very rude to me and I told her I had a problem with the implications behind her words and her disrespectful attitude. She asked me what the implications were? so I told her " That if I do not comply with your every demand, that I will be terminated, ". Unfortunately however still is that forcing employees to work off of the clock is not in compliance with FLSA (Fair Labor Standards act). Threatening my employment while breaking the law will not be tolerated. Furthermore, while working there I had in issue with closing a check on the wrong card, I asked for Deborah's assistance with the issue and she told me my options were either to pay the difference for the table (and walk out of the restaurant with less than what I walked in with, or to take my first write up. Mind you this was the same day I lowered my grandmother into the ground as her pallbearer and even though I could have taken advantage of the bereavement period I was entitled to it still said on the schedule that I was scheduled to work so I came in an hour after placing her in the ground, having to push off crying family members to make it to my car and get to work. Once I got there I was informed that I didn't have to be there but felt pressured to work anyway and was even goaded into picking up extra shifts the following day. But even with her being fully aware that I wasn't mentally ready to bring my A-game to the workplace she still has the audacity to punish me when I could have chosen to leave. Furthermore still Deborah claimed 57 dollars more on my tip report than I made to fix a computer issue but since my employment is over they owe me more money on my last check because taxes took out more than what I owed. The act of claiming more money on an employee's tips in and of itself is also not in compliance with the FLSA. I would also like to mention that Deborah lost somewhere close to 10 employees in the last month including myself. The restaurant will fail with her poor managerial experience and inability to connect with her staff members.
