I've just received on on LinkedIn! I added a person as a contact, after seeing they were connected with a number of my other contacts. Not 20 min later, received a notification email of an inbox message with a congratulations message. It asks not to share the message with the public because of mix ups with winners names. NOT IMPRESSED! It was from a person who claims to be a Promo Coordinator at Samsung. The name of the person rings a bell, which was another reason I added them. Going to disconnect from them immediately!
