cellular line disruption/no connectivity
At around 10pm, 18th October 2018, I was working, a private hire driver, suddenly I couldn't end my trip. As I need to get another call/booking from passengers, I couldn't . I thought it was my phone. I restarted it more than 10 times. Frustrated, I tried to call Singtel. I couldn't even call anyone! I am the breadwinner of my family. I need to work and buy groceries for my family. Tomorrow is my mother's and sister's birthday. I need to get their presents and birthday cake! Because I couldn't connect to the Internet, my income loss has risen! How do I buy my family's needs? They need to eat!
billing for my mobile account
My mobile line got terminated by Singtel(Acct no [protected]), I know I have unpaid previous bills($403), but I tried my best and I settle it immediately(hoping they will re-activate my lines) But the singtel insisted that I still have a current bill ($203 this suppose to be due on Oct.23) they said I need to pay the full amount to get back my lines. I ask for extention and told them if I can pay it on my salary on Oct 25, because I really don't have the money yet, and I need it for my other expenses at home, but they still refuse to accept and didn't re activate my mobile.
We want to keep our loyalty to this mobile provider but for what I can see, Singtel is not aware of there "Sufficiency Customer Service needs. I hope that Singtel will give a little concern in my feedback(not a complain).
Hope for some consideration about this matter.

SingTel Service is sucks! You get sales stuff to pesters us to sign up Mio TV to extention we are not keen but you give us sugar and honey! Issues raise up even disputed charges you accused us that we had verbal agreed to your sakes stuff fine! The Mio box having an issue including the channels being subscribed none contacted us! After 3-4 months of ignorant the bill had snowball to $400-500 including late fee and reconnection fees! After much arguments your customer service managed to waive some late fees! Fine! Ok Internet, Mio Tv connection was made Please check your record we've made consistent payment but today just started to on Tv n internet and realised that it had been cut off —-another gimmick! Your stuff claimed that ii is system reaction if no full payment is made! Hello we are working almost full day and we need to work from home as well! SingTel now set up the system gradually deprived customer with SingTel for almost 30 years are doing this to us! If SingTel are like money minded than I'm telling you, the business will definitely grow from bad to worst Can't even get customer service to attend to our needs or temperory connect us after office hour to help us got urgent needs! But simply brush us away that it is control by the system as an excuse to demand full payment! Truly it give us an impression that SingTel is no longer a company that is highly respect and five rated company in Singapore that we call it home! data roam not activated for the country I visiting
i call your service customer to activate data roaming for India prior to my departure on 22 Sept till 2 Oct 18. I was informed it will $20 for 1GB for 30 days. I agreeded and confirmation on activation was sent to my HP via sms.
Upon arriving in India i was not able to use my data. I texed your customer service many times and i was informed it was already activated. In summary i was not able to use my data throughout.
Upon returning Singapore i call your Customer Service (Sonic) and received a shocking news that the 9 countries activated, INDIA was not included. It was a joke! I just dont believe it.
I am still waiting (up to now) an explanation for breaking the contract. It has been long over due for the answer. Please revert asap and dont tarnish SINGTEL reputation as National brand!
Renewed on CIS plan which has free caller id for 24 months. Yet being charged constantly for it (with GST somemore!) N without realising it, as I'm not the one paying the bill, we have been paying for god knows how many months. Called up customer service who could only do waiver of current month statement but unable to do the refund for the past months we had paid for. Reason given, they not able to credit back what was being paid (typical our government style, what we commoners paid for using our money, they took)
A few months after contract renewed i noticed the charge n gave a call to their customer svc line n was being assured this would b rectified n apparently it has not. N currently the officer told me their system does not show i called regarding this issue. Hello~i told him how to trust your system when the subscription bill was not billed correctly in the first plc?

Wanted to take up a leasing plan on iPhone X's Max
Went to Singtel outlet at NEX.
This sales Rep Kenneth served me. He looks disinterested, seems unwilling to serve kind of attitude. I read through the clauses online about the leasing plan before coming to the outlet. So I enquired nicely throughout. I asked if I can opt not to have mobile swop while taking up a leasing plan.
He said no. You have to take it together. I confirmed it by referring to the online clauses online. He told me to wait and went to check it out on his laptop. He also enquired with his colleagues as I watched on. He seemed not have the knowledge about this.
He came back. So he said I can only terminate after the leasing period. I showed again But I don't see that written in the clause. I again pointed it to him nicely on the online clause but he seemed a little defensive.
And he took out another "internal clause" on his tablet which he said was given directly by Singtel main branch and briefly showed it to me. He said they were just a retail store.
So I asked a question if Singtel main branch and Singtel retailers have different or same clauses to which he said it's they have the same!
So I asked, then if it's the same why is there another different internal clause other than the one on the website if it's the same. Are u hiding something or is Singtel hiding something from the customer?
He just gesture as though it's like, well take it or leave it. So I was quite appalled by the kind of attitude that the staff portrayed representing Singtel.
I told him maybe I can check with the main Singtel branch before coming back. He said ok. He looked really disinterested from the beginning.
So I called up 1688
Spoke to a representative and asked the same question regarding about the leasing plan.
Can I opt out of mobileswop while on a leased plan. She said yes. I confirmed it again. She said yes.
So this means. Either Kenneth is lying or Singtel is playing tricks. But I would want to believe Singtel is not in the wrong but rather Kenneth is misrepresenting Singtel. He should just have been honest and said he didn't know and would check thoroughly.
None of that was said or assured. It just gives people a very bad impression. Seriously please look into it. Get a mystery shopper and check out Kenneth. I am genuinely a customer wanting to get a new device and been a loyal follower of Singtel.
Many times my friends told me to change. Others telcos are better etc. I always hesitated. I recently been looking up other telcos and comparing. Seriously there are really good options. Even if I have to pay a little more. I can get better service. Why not...
I hope to get a reply regarding about this issue and the differences or (if there are any) about the clauses stated online and by the claims Kenneth had made.

I have tried To pay my bills multiple times online but it seems like I always face the same issue. Did my very first online bill payment and experience aas good. Subsequently, I'm stuck on processing page for awhile every now and then. your msg prompt not to refresh nor close the browser. I personally think that it is unfair to be charging reminder fee for the past few months.

It has been 8 months since I contacted Singtel for failure to access my password protected bill. Both attempts made to escalate this matter in May and July was denied by the Duty Supervisor, Lincoln himself. Using the IT department as screen to mask their shortcomings.
If this portal has successfully passed my message to Singtel, why is the specific duty supervisor allowed to continue sitting on the case, covering the possible mistakes made by his staffs in generating my password protected bills? Was it solely motivated by his own personal agendas?
Why is the IT department taking 6 months with no resolution to date? Was a ticket even raised for this matter? This brought me back to the suggestion offered by your customer care officer, which is for me to pay the bill before Singtel revert with an explanation or allow the late charges to compound and harass me mentally with your text, email and bill sent to my residence.
Every month, I'll have to calculate and pay the rightful bill less undue charges and cope with mental baggage of unresolved quires. Example would be why the standard password, using my birth date generated by Singtel failed to access my bill. Was there a breach in their data protection such that my birth date was actually altered in March?
A final question, how long does it take for an explanation from Singtel after I paid the bill for the statement I've no access to earlier this year?

This is so not acceptable and bad experience today! They schedule me last monday and they move it on tuesday, today is tuesday technician come without the cable box,

I am complaining about singtel tv set top box which it didn’t install for me
Previously, i register and apply for the fibre broadband which doesn't includes the tv set top box because this is not for myself it's for the tenant. The tenant requested to have a tv set top box because he will be staying in my rental house for long term and wish to subscribe to desi starter. And as per request i call the hotline 1609 to subscribe the tv channel and the staff said they can only subscribe after installation is done. So i thought that the technician will bring along the tv set top box. The technicians came on 19/9/2018 at about 12pm and did the installations for fibre broadband and did not install the tv set top box. I even ask the technician guy how do i apply to get the tv set top box. He mentioned that i need to call 1688 and ask for tv set top box and from there the engineer will come by and install the set top box. And so i did call and the staff, and said they can only proceed once the installations has been approved which took me 3-4 days after the installation. On 25/9/18 i received called from singtel stating that i have already subscribe i even told her that I didn't received tv set topbox but the staff said i should have received upon technician appt and like i said the technician ask me to call the hotline to ask for tv set top box and i know I unable to get the answer over the phone so i walk in to imm singtel outlet and the staff aren't so helpful and attentive to my needs. I clarify with them saying that i would like to request for tv set top box and the staff replied saying that it's completed which on the other I clearly did not received. They check from the system that i have purchased the tv set top box together but I didn't received it since the day that technician came in. I was frustrated and knowing that the installation was incomplete from my side and keep on accusing and saying i have made installation. The service was terribly bad, I always thought that singtel have a better service and network but i was wrong this time. Can you please escalate this issues?
recontract of home fibre broadband online and phone service
I tried to recontract my home broadband via online and phone. Just this issue has caused me so much frustration that I stomped down to the actual retail shop to request for the same thing.
1. Tried online to recontract, website said something went wrong, order can't be processed.
2. Tried calling, first person told me to do it online and told me step by step how to do it.
3. Tried again, still can't seem to recontract
4. Talk to an agent (Rhoy C), he said there's an item in my shopping cart so he can't help me to recontract. I can't delete the shopping cart on my end as the shopping cart on my end shows there's no item inside. Advise me to call 1688 to ask them cancel my pending order (which I didn't even know what the order is).
5. Call again, third person can't tell me what order I had, which is now under progress. Request to transfer my call to sales dept so as to complete my order.
6. Spoke to KJ about the situation, he started to sell me a more attractive product (his opinion not mine), I firmly said that u need to cancel my order first then call me tomorrow to talk to me about the different home fibre products.
7. Next day, didn't call. I call again to try to find out about my situation. Get transfer from dept to dept. No one answered. This is atrocious.
What do I need to do to get this service done as conveniently as possible? This sort of service would drive any customers away even long term singtel customers like me.

I subscribed to your service, daily unlimited data usage for Malaysia starting on 15/9/2018 for 3 days ending on 17/9/18.
This is my first time subscribing to this service though a Long time subscriber to Singtel, perhaps the last 30 years or more. Your data roaming is unusable. I'm disappointed with your service.
This service doesn't come cheap at $19 per day. If it's usable I don't have any issues with it. Unfortunately, I cannot even get to do any proper surfing on Facebook and even on Google. Spotify can't be played, starting and stopping numerous times till I'm fed up. Speed test shows less than 0.20mb/sec. It doesn't cost too much buying a overseas prepaid SIM card and placing it onto a second phone. I'm sure the internet can rival the data roaming of Singtel's any given day. Please see to it that this issue is handled most professionally. I would not hesitate to cancel all my Singtel tv, mobile and internet plans when the contracts are up. This is the first day I'm overseas in Msia. I can't imagine the rest of the whole trip with such progress. Singtel, you've caused me alot of inconvenience.

Hi there I am not sure whether should I be writing here as I am really really pissed off with the service Singtel is providing. Its been since last year that we are not receiving our bills on monthly basis and whenever I tried calling the Customer Service they would say its been sent out.
So, what happen that whenever we don't receive the bills my dad would use the previous bill to make payment as we need to use the account number. This went on and off every time when we don't receive the bills.
Now, I receive many emails and text msgs to say that there is so much of money outstanding which I honestly feel its not right. I went down to the Comcenter handed over all my bills and receipts of my payments in early Aug and its been 1month nobody got back to us.
I received an automated call awhile ago that if the outstanding are not settled by Saturday our lines will be terminated, this is really the worst service and ridiculous Customer Service I ever encounter.
I would say that we are not responsible for the outstanding amount where we have been paying every month with or without your bill.
I am expecting a call or reply regarding this ASAP and please give some urgency on this matter, if its fails then I would post out in media to share my frustration. Its not a Threat but as a customer I don't deserve such treatment.

On 28th July, I signed up Sim Only Starter Plan at Bugis store. The staff there said I can pay a deposit of 200$ as my EP card had not been issued at that time. However, he said that if I get my EP card, I can come to store and present it and get my deposit back.
On 30th July, I got my EP card and came to Bugis store and showed my card. They asked me to call 1688 to organize a refund of my deposit.
My nightmare stars from here.
1. Your staff on the phone told me that I never can get my deposit back unless I become PR here or terminate my plan. I was shocked and came to Bugis store and the manager confirmed that I am eligible to get a refund. At the same time, the staff called me back and corrected her previous message and told me that I can get a refund but I have to wait for the funding department.
2. After a few days, she called me back and said I can only get my deposit to a holding account and use this amount of money to pay my monthly. I did not accept this solution as I wanted to get my money back and it is not fair that I cannot access my money.
3. After a few days, your staff called me back and said that I can get my money back but it will be deducted my 1st month bill. I was fine with that and provided my bank details and wait
4. After more than 2 weeks, I have not received my money, I tried to call many times. I was asked to wait for a few days after I reach to your staffs. They promised to call me back but I did not receive any phone calls. I spent most of my credit just to call 1688.
5. Until now, my issue has not been resolved, I still have not received my fund after 6 weeks

My helper purchase a oppo A3s on Saturday eveningat the price of $398(the staff claim that it a promo price). Sunday when we were out shopping we saw challenger selling the phone at $269
They are out to cheat. How can Singtel allow this type of dishonest and non ethical shop to be your Authorized distributor. You are spoiling your own image.
This shop is not the first time giving you problem. I'm going down to the shop to get a refund if they still finding excuse to push away. I hope to get your help in assisting this case.
My helper just come to Singapore and work for me about 4month. That overcharge of $120 is equivalent to her one month salary.

not acceptable service on relocation
Request being made 3 weeks ago, the officer called and verify the detail. When I was in the middle of work, I request a returned call next 3 minutes. The officer promised and didn't ring me until the next day. This happened for the past one week (at least 3 times), and the schedule not able to fix until today. I had lost almost a week just to wait for their call, with no contact number for me to reach. It's so inefficient and it gives the impression to make more money by delaying the request.

I have been unable to view my bill since 18th august (both in My Singtel App and Singtel One pass), nor I have recieved any email in my account.
