A Personal Experience with Singtel's Mobile Plans
I recently signed up for Singtel's SIM Only Plus plan with a device on an installment payment plan, and I must say it has been a game-changer for me. The process was smooth, and the plan offers great value with free Godiva soft serve and a chance to win a PS5. The network coverage is excellent, and I've experienced fast and reliable data speeds. Inefficient customer service reps
Early Jan 24th, my wife n l went to woodleigh mall to purchase a Samsung cellular phone n sign up a MIO TV contract. All my spouse's details were taken and registration was under her name.
However, the following month l received her e-statement in my email. A few weeks later, we went to woodleigh mall and personally that the system is send her e-statement to my email address instead of the registered email. The staff there acknowledged the error and confirmed all was rectified and my wife would receive all future e-statements.
To my horror, l received her e-statement again for the following billing cycle. I called up 1688 and after much verification and merry go around, l was assured that the system has been updated. Knowing how well your reps are, l requested that he sent a copy of the e-statement to my wife's registered email address as was in the system. No sooner than 10 minutes after we hung up, a text message was sent to my mobile number and addressed to my spouse.
I immediately called back 1688 and was told that the person whom l spoke to has left for the day. How convenient, again l had to go through the verification and a bloody waste of time and explain all over again. However, this rep assured me that he will update the system and call me back in 2 days time. I have yet to receive that call from him.
As a communication giant, either you employ inexperienced people whose left hand do not know what the right hand is doing or your establishment is not up to date.

My last 6 months bill is extremely high, so much so that my current bill is over $333/- plus. It is alarmingly high. I have already paid $120/- and I need to clarify the bill to avoid any disruption with the service.

Mio tv
Since 4 to 6 year complaint on issue related to freezing was unable to solve. Wasting time n money on technician to come n change mio TV box 2 to 3 time per year. Currently I am in USA, Selected the network manually but its not getting connected. During my earlier conversation with your support team informed only when I am enabling the Data Roaming I can connect to the local network provider but it should not be the case as I don't need the data only the local network connection to be enabled.

singtel mobile swop plan
nov23 i recontracted my plan and got the mobile swop same time.
22.12.23 i requested for mobile replacement under mobile swop.
singtel rejected my claim and fail too after appeal.

Today, 13 November 2023, i called Singtel's customer service name: Irsyad he couldnt wave off the late charge of $10 but he would not do it for me as it is unable. I received a reminder on the 5th November 2023 then i paid it on the 6th of November 2023. I just renewed my contract and I am a long time customer with Singtel, I feel quite uncomfortable as they could not wave the late charge. After my contract ends, I would not renew it again.
Telephony digital business line.
On 13/12023, I have relocated analog business line to a new digital business line in my new office. Ever since the relocation, my overseas counterpart and some local businesses unable to reach me and that for all my business line.

Customer service or SingNet Sales
With reference to email on subject tile Fibre Service -- [protected] Pls follow up X2 dated 21 Aug 2023. I do not believe that Singtel has not received this email. Every time i need to repeat and repeat my questions over and over. All the customer service officer that called me has no background about my issue. When you need to call a customer for follow up, shouldn't you understand the issue first? There are customer even asked me to use whatsapp but ended up with no follow up also. Is this the service from singtel after using the homebroadband services for almost 20 years. As said, there are more services out there. Please give me a reason why i need to continue using singtel seervices? M1 has a better home broadband plan which is much better.

There were services that we did not use or know of being charged to our bill.
It was so tedious to get through the hotline to find someone to verify this. When we did, they just brushed it off and said this is something not within the control. We called several times but the answer is the same. No one bother to investigate this further. Very extremely poor customer service who did not consider the welfare of their customer. Customer service was rude and unhelpful . We end up had to pay for a service that we did not use - look it up online, many shared the same experiences with SingTel.
Mobile Swop
Was trying multiple times to do mobile swop, after paying for months and now need to swap my phone as it’s an entitlement that we paid for the chat bot doesn’t seem to work at all. The payment gateway just gathers all card information and response each time was unsuccessful and ask to use different cards. I am still waiting as I think my first card was charged but yet to receive the record on internet banking, mind that each unsuccessful try my card was charged $1. Website keeps on asking to repeat the process until I give up trying . It’s very unprofessional and malicious to introduce something that doesn’t work .
Singtel TV billing me again after service was cancelled 2 years ago
My account number is [protected]. This is a TV account which I had cancelled at comcentre in April 2021.
Now which is May 2023 I suddenly received a billing for the above again! I tried using the mysingtel app to request for a call back so I can talk to the CS and find out what happened.
Indeed they called but for the sake of calling. They just simply hang up once in the ring, so it reflects as missed call! Am sure their systems will show as "called but no one answer"
I gave up calling them because 1688 has no human to answer the phone, only keep asking us to press 1 press 2 press 3 press 4 end up is a cut-off tone.
I don't know what kind of service is this company agenda to provide to their long time customer.
So I decided to use their WhatsApp functions. This is even worse, they take 30 mins to keep repeating the same thing. I was told by the CS in the WhatsApp chat
"As per checking here, mobile numbers xxxx5735, xxxx9265 and Singtel TV are still active on the account."
I repeated 3 times, the service was cancelled 2 years ago and the CS repeat 3 times also with the same repeat.
HELLO! WHAT is WRONG WITH THIS CS? The service is cancelled for 2 years and I never received any billing since I cancelled and this month which is 2 years later I received a billing again!
Desired outcome: Please cancelled the account and void the billing.
Unaware i was signing up for mobileswop
During a CIS promotion, singtel advertised their handsets with contract are on sale for a short period only. There is about $100 off handsets if we purchase within the period. When purchasing online, apparently there was some automatic add ons one if which was mobileswop. Singtel did not make it clear there is a 24mths contract for mobileswop and there is a penalty for cancellation. The mobileswop costs about $12 a month and a penalty of $300 plus to cancel. After calling customer service, they said i clicked on tbe add on for the $100 discount. This is a scam as no one in their right mind will sign up for this just for $100 off. Singtel refuses to reverse it despite having my records as a customer who never signs up for addons

My office internet is down since yesterday (14/5/24).
We have tried several times on & off the switch and even plug & unplug the router and optical.
Spoken 3 times to Technical support team and was told to do the same thing 😡.
I ask for an appointment to fix the router and was given after 2 days.

I have contacted SingTel customer service officer CSO on 15 April to enquire about the promotion mailer that I have received to upgrade from 500 mbps to 1Gbps at $30.37. The officer explain that there will not be any configuration done at my place, SingTel will do the upgrade on their end. The promotion will come with a free wifi 5. All I need to do is to send in my NRIC within the same day to confirm my recontract and it will take effect on 17 April.
I have discussed this with my family and we felt that this will not solved the issue of poor connection and drop-off issue when I work in my room. Since there is no configuration done and I am already using the wifi 5 mesh router currently, I don’t see the point of renewing something that is not going to solve my problem. I decided not recontract to the promotion plan.
Later I realised SingTel has already sent me the renewal service agreement without me sending in my NRIC.
I tried calling1688 a couple of times but it was always a recording Machine and no Option to choose speak to a CSO.
I tried to reach a CSO via WhatsApps chats today to understand what is going on and from the CSO that my plan has been renewed. I have requested him to arrange a CSO to call me but till now nobody from SingTel has contacted me.
How can SingTel renew my broadband without me sending in my NIRIC to confirm?
I understand Teleco is very competitive nowadays and CSO has sales target to achieve but that is not the way to do business.
I want to void my contract since it was without my confirmation.

Trick Advertisement that cost me 400 bucks with Singtel Singapore
In Feb2023, I saw an online advertisement for SIM-only user that 5G is about $10. Thinking this was a promotion, I signed up the offer but when I received the contract, then it said it is an add-on !
Next month in March 2023, I called the customer service. I was told to cancel the contract, I need to pay a penalty of 400 bucks of early termination fee. The customer manager mentioned that the penalty can only be waived off if I continue the service with them.
In the end, I have to fork out 400 bucks for not reading the terms and conditions properly. F*** Singtel with their dubious marketing tactics.
Singtel mobile share supplementary plan with 1 gb local data
Since the first day of mobileShare until today I cannot use the service at all, and I had already pay for the subscription fee as well as monthly payment.

Hello, I am writing out of extreme frustration on the email service provided by Singtel. I have been a subscriber for over 10 years now and since the migration to new service a month ago, Singtel has ruined my emails for the last 5 years and I cannot even read my emails from my last few months during December and January! Needless to say, I'm extremely frustrated at the technical competence of the back of a staff. I've been speaking to Wani add technical support, who has been very helpful in communicating my complaints to the technical staff. Unfortunately, they have not been able to resolve the issue for over a month and have ruined my emails for the last 2 and 1/2 years as I cannot read them in Microsoft Outlook 365 or Microsoft 2015. It is most unfortunate that you have technical staff that is erased my emails completely or restored my emails with no content! I have lost practically everything from the Will that I registered, LPA with the lawyers and important property documents when I purchased an apartment.
